Big Elite Media has reported a great deal recently about muslim wars and rumors of war. During the last decade alone there was first Kuwait, then the Kosovo crisis, followed by Afghanistan, and now Iraq. We may wonder what to think as Catholics, and might even feel that the rogues in charge of many of the Nation's printing presses, many of whom do not profess to know God, are leading us around by spin. And still we read the stuff and maybe it causes us to half change our minds about keeping the faith, because the perversion and sexiness of the secular news stories are so great, that we can hardly resist it. I think that we must ask ourselves as Christians, not whether Big, Elite Media approves of this war or that war with Moslems, but rather, does engaging in any particular one of them fulfill our duty to God and Country? After all, most American soldiers are Christians, and it is the same with many of the major armies the world over. We must only engage in wars that will help Christianity, because we are not in the business of bolstering false religions. It does not mean that we should neglect the needs of others, but helping them must fit into the grande design of God to bring the Gospel to the World. We are mostly a Christian people who have elected a Christian president. It is essential to remember this, and not let Elite Media tell us that it doesn't matter, or that we must rather cater to the "victim groups", to the denigration of Christianity, its maintenance, and growth.
In the US at least, the temporal powers of the president is given to him to represent the people. He is committed to do what the people want, not what he wants personally. Generally what the majority of the people want and what the president wants are not in conflict, because they voted for him knowing his ideas ahead of time. And so it is natural for him to guide the country using his own conscience as a guide, which should therefor represent, more or less, the view of the people that elected him. And on new issues, good presidents and other politicians carefully listen to the people before making a decision, because if they don't, they cannot readily defend their actions, which will be haphazard and perhaps not popular, and this is the way elections are lost. Therefore we, the people, ultimately must decide, and our conscience and that of the President are intermingled.
We are members of the Mystical Body of Christ. And though our presidents have not been Catholic, they at least know of Christ's teachings, though in a filtered and distorted way. But in any case it is ideally not us who should decide how to conduct the Nation's affairs, and the World's affairs, but rather God. When we bring God into the equation, we can only meet with success, because Jesus tells us that whatever we ask for in His Name will be granted unto us, so long as the request is worthy. We are servants, ourselves all unworthy, and it is important to ask whether as unworthy servants we are fulfilling our duty before God and Country to be supportive of a new war. Our Christian president should ask this question, and we the voters and citizens, the electorate, are given a mandate by God to elect those who will ask this question. I think President George W. Bush acts as a Christian president should in a number of areas, to our benefit and to the glory of God. But he is limited, in part because we are not so supportive. We are caught up with the undercurrent of lies from Elite Media that say that Christianity and Western Culture have been detrimental to the humanist worldview and therefore must be destroyed. Though we would never consciously say it, I think this philosophy has even entered our psyche a little, thus maddening us to some extent by the wine of the World's adultery, which Our Lord cautioned us against in Apocalypse. The patient is sick, and it strikes even at the Church's foundations.
Now some of us who call ourselves Catholic, being actually liberals, may recoil and say it is never right and just to support a war. But this position is difficult to defend. If not for the heroic soldiers who came before us, there would be no Christian culture. And our culture is still by and large a Christian culture, though it is becoming diminished and diluted more and more each day. It is diluted by left-wing special interests and their mouthpiece the Big Media, who recoil at Western Culture and Christian thought. They are all humanists, who ultimately derive their power from our adversary, that ancient and wily serpent. Let us therefore speak succinctly: satan directs the anti-Christian, anti-Western humanist battle on earth from his perch in hell. His philosophy is one of multiculturalism, which dilutes Western culture, and one-worldism, which dilutes Christian power. If he can completely destroy those twin towers, he knows that the World is his. In a one-world government there will be no room for the Pope and his proclamations unless that pontiff tows the party line with respect to the modernist worldview. And this view is that all religions have contributed equally to humanity and that the true religion, the guiding light, is the achievement of the human species in making the world a better place, a place of paradise. Of course the exact plans for this paradise evolve as time passes, it is a moving target, because the concept itself is generated by fallible men, not the infallible Godhead. But generally speaking we can say that the humanistic paradise involves culling the population through sterilization and abortion, empowerment of "historically disadvantaged groups", and destruction of even the memory of the contribution of Christianity and Western Thought, which have been predominant throughout much of the World for 2 millennia, to the well-being of all Mankind.
Yet there is trouble in humanistic paradise already. The advocates of wide open doors immigration, a policy presently imposed in the United States, Canada, and Europe, which, just as planned, leads rapidly to multiculturalism and the downfall of Western thought and culture, have gradually discovered that many of the new immigrants are militant Muslims who have 10 children per family. These new citizens do not play by the Humanist set of rules, but rather have their own agenda. That both Mohammadism and Humanism are not godly - they do not conform to the Bible - should not surprise us. And the result is a house divided: Humanists versus Muslims - they are in great conflict, because God is not in these movements. It is not evident yet which if either will win out and become the predominant world player. But I can tell you that as either or both Mohammadism and Humanism gain in power, it is obvious that Christianity and Western ideals suffer and diminish. And when the power of the holy people is finally broken entirely, when Christianity is dead except in the hearts and minds of a few brave souls, it will be time for Christ to return. These are not my words, but I am only quoting from the Scriptures (Daniel 12:7). We may think to ourselves: "Well, fine. Let Christ return soon." Yet it is not our duty to hasten Christ's return. With every effort of our being we must oppose powers contrary to Christianity, and this includes especially Mohammadism and Humanism, two particularly virulent expositions of distraction from Christian thought and principles, which plays right into the hand of lucifer's plan of guidance for all Mankind.
Were we to oppose every war, then those who make war would soon capture us and we would either be killed or forced to live by the customs of the captors. And I can tell you that there are presently 1 billion Muslims who would be only too glad to make us either convert to the heathen religion, or chop our very heads off, just as they have done to 2 million black Sudanese Christians in last decade alone. The liberals might respond to this with: "Well, Jesus was a pacifist". But there is no basis for this remark. Jesus said: "Love you enemies" and "Do good to those who persecute you" but that does not mean to avoid all war. He also said: "Let anyone who has not a sword go and purchase one." We can speak of the Holy Crusades some centuries ago as an example of following the command of Christ. The purpose of these Crusades was not only to protect Christian lands, but also to convert the heathen, guided by the love and power of Christ, that is, the Holy Ghost. The same was true even of the Holy Inquisition which came about around the same time: by the love of Christ, to prevent the lapse of Christian men and women, who when they transgress and die in that state, will take up permanent residence in hell. And which is worse, hell or the possibility of punishment by the Holy Inquisition? In fact both the Holy Inquisition and the Holy Crusades were mild, as Jesus is, and you can read a little about them in the current edition of Crisis Magazine. Lamentably, there is no longer a Holy Inquisition or a Holy Crusade, because if there were, and they were effective, we would not be in the multicultural humanist quagmire which is destroying all that the great saints and martyrs who came before us had fought for with their toil and blood. Yea, once the Holy Inquisition and Crusades ended, for a time they were replaced by strong men of the pulpit who preached fire and brimstone, to help keep the faith among the people and prevent their lapse. And it even worked up to the time recent memory: some of our very elders alive today have the fear of God in them, because they were brought up that way, the right way. But more recently, certain of our clergy have stopped talking about hell and the consequences of sin entirely, we are chagrined to admit. And the result is that there is nary a fear of God in younger people - everyone thinks they are going to Heaven if they are thinking about it at all. And all the while they sin grievously some more, and don't even care that they are becoming extinct and being replaced by Muslims and Hindus and Buddhists. Is this good?
Now then, concerning our diminishing culture, which is the Christian culture, true before God. It is an issue that should always be firstly on our minds, for without the Christian culture there would soon be no Christians. And in fact everyone with an ounce of sense knows that this culture has been weakened drastically, starting about the time of the end of Vatican II in 1965; whereas during the same interval the muslim culture and Hindu culture and even the Buddhist culture have been growing by leaps and bounds, as we have pointed out in France, Eldest Daughter of the Church. The hooligan Jesse Jackson has even stated it: he says that true American history began in 1965, but what he means is that his version of America began in 1965, which is a society in which true Christianity cannot flourish. Rather it slowly dies, to the detriment of all souls. And what will happen when it dies? We know that there have been extraordinary circumstances already in which one must live with only the Christian culture that exists, secretly, in the heart, and it takes a great saintliness to live by it in this way. A few such saints have existed. One such is Saint Maximilian Kolbe, and also the underground saints of the persecuted Church in China and elsewhere. However, many more fall away when these situations present themselves, and so it should not be surprising to know that when Christianity really is entirely put away by the evil one, a time that appears to be rapidly approaching, only great saints will be saved. Whereas, when the Christian culture rules, as in the Middle Ages, when Christ is adored as King, it is not so hard to be saved because there is a great support network. And a great many souls were saved at that time, even though there were far fewer souls who lived throughout the earth. Even today, most of us still currently have ample opportunity to engage in Christian activities with other Christians of like mind, and even to make whole communities together. Yet to our everlasting shame we rarely make use of this privilege, but rather are usually concerned with three things only: me, me, and me. Thus who but a very few souls would actually consider taking the time and energy to band together as Christians? There are a very few. For example, the Society of Saint John is doing this in the beautiful region of Shohola, Pennsylvania, with some success. There is the settlement of the Society of Saint Pius X at Saint Mary's, Kansas. And others exist around the country and globe. Shouldn't there be more of these efforts? Wouldn't it be great for our families to live in a truly Catholic environment? During the Middle Ages whole nations in Europe lived this way, and the Faith flourished.
This does not necessarily mean that we think all of us should just pick up and move to some Catholic settlement. Because if we have a family we must look after them in whatever way works best and that may mean sticking with our present employment. We can also minister to people on the job under such circumstances. And we have our local Catholic parish, though it is not a settlement, it is a place to meet and collaborate with like Catholics concerning works of mercy. Those of us who want to move to a Christian settlement are doing good, but we must realize that there will always be some problems. People are still humans and sinners. Just as we know that the humanists cannot build a paradise on earth, we cannot expect a Christian paradise on earth, and to do so is to be mislead by the devil. It is enough to give, in love, rather then to take. But such a commitment to living communally requires self-sacrifice and hard work, a laboring in the fields from early morning until late at night. Our reward for such is awaiting us in Heaven, provided we carefully work out our salvation and live the life Christ taught us to live in all ways. And those with great faith can do this. Yet we should not expect anything, but rather be humble servants awaiting a few crumbs from the Master's table after He has eaten.
Now in considering war, which the whole country and even the whole world seem to be focusing on at present, we must consider therefore how it will impact the Christian culture, because this is the way God thinks about it. He wants us to love Him more and give Him more glory as a result of any action that we take. And the only way to do that is to build up the Christian culture, not to break it down. In this sense we can say straightaway that we took the wrong side in the war in Kosovo, which was truly a disaster. The Media Elite, consisting of leftists, communists, modernists, humanists, masons, atheists, satanists, and mixtures of these, as well as other odd ducks, had demonized Serbia and its president, Slobadan Milosevic, an Orthodox Christian concerned for his people's Christian state. In throwing out the Muslims he was only doing what all the holy popes of the past have done during the Crusades. He was protecting his people and his religion. But the elite humanists, led at that time by President Bill Clinton, accused him. In this case they fabricated a "genocide" of 100,000 Kosovo Muslims (which later turned out to be untrue). They spun and spun, like a spider weaving his web to catch a prey, yet the only thing President Milosevic appears to have been guilty of is of the "crime" of trying to throw the Muslims out of the territory which historically belonged to the Serbian people. Rather, he should be commended for what he did and tried to do, and good Christians do commend him. Shouldn't we all have such courageous leaders? Now Russia, which as Sister Lucia tells us time and again, has converted, supported him. The Russians will stand at the end of time concerning this matter, but we will buckle under the weight of this incident, which is no small thing. It will be said that we fell for the spin of the Media Elite, The New York Times and USA Today, we fell for the party line of leftists, communists, modernists, humanists, masons, atheists, even satanists, that Milosevic is a man who should be tried for "war crimes" by a so-called "International Criminal Court" at "The Hague". The devil himself will accuse us of siding with false religions bent on destroying us, and in this case he will be right. And we suffer doubly because at the present time we have all that many more Muslims still in Central Europe ready to slice the throats of Christians at the first opportunity, and some already have. These same Kosovoians, once the NATO and the United Nations had restored their power, as a first official act destroyed all of the Christian churches, and killed and looted those Christians who lingered in the region. And the evil Kofi Annan, head of the United Nations, along with his colleagues Desmund Tutu, Nelson Mandela, and the rest of the humanist gang, stroke their chins with glee at the destruction of Christianity and say that it is right and just.
And what to do? We can sigh and lament, but it would not be Christian to do so. I think the best policy is to follow the path of our forefathers who had the Holy Faith. We must remember that Jesus did not come to destroy men, but to save them. However, the Holy Crusades were a time to kick the Muslims out of the Christian lands, that Christianity might flourish once again, and that is what we must do today. It is shear lunacy to let millions of Muslims, and Hindus and Buddhists for that matter, as well as all who wish to dilute our culture, to spread throughout the West. The result, as we have seen already in France and elsewhere, is a rapid takeover of all things Western and Christian to be replace with multiculturalism and humanism. And yet the most of the people do not understand what is happening, those wallowing in sin and heathenism have been blinded by Our Lord. They are doing just as all the transgressors have done before them, and they are reaping the same temporal reward: their numbers are being wiped from the face of the earth. They abort their babies and act like heathen - so be it! They will therefore be replaced by a heathen people who do not abort their babies. God gave Man Christianity, and for a time it flourished in the culture of the West, at the time of Constantine and even before. But gradually, Westerners have been given over to atrocious sin, so that the destruction of the culture becomes inevitable, just as happened to pagan Rome.
And so dear friends, we must remove the Muslims and others bent on destroying our religion and our cultural heritage. But at the same time there must be a singular return to God. All of us who see the Lord and claim to know Him are responsible not only for ourselves but for also for those who do not see and know the Lord. We must help the apostates, heretics, agnostics, and even the atheists on their earthly journey, that they might not be lost, and so that they might come on board and help us bring about a return to normalcy, a return to the Christian way of life, and a restoration of our cultural heritage. Not all such persons will change, and we cannot even expect to see one fruit of our labor. But try we must, and with expediency and vigor. All of our being must be predisposed to winning the battle, because the laborers are few and the harvest, great. We must fight the great spiritual battle, which even now is taking place. And where necessary to restore what has been lost, we must support temporal wars to reclaim Christianity and our cultural heritage. The only just war is one that preserves the Christian culture. And true patriotism, dear friends, consists of defending one's country from foreign interests, that is, interests that are foreign to Christianity and our way of life down the centuries from Christ. The US Constitution even says so. To do otherwise is to sin against God and His Christ, because we are guilty of the presumption that passivity is an option. I can tell you it is never an option, and the passive, if they are saved at all because of ignorance on their part, will just barely get in the gates of Heaven. Rather, those who, like Caleb and Jacob, spy out the land and take fearlessly what is theirs by God's decree, will shine like the stars in Heaven forever and ever. Amen.
