God has a way of reminding us
"This paralysis of conscience reaches its final stage in the mind when, as pure water becomes loathsome to the drunkard, so does justice and virtue to the depraved conscience. Then comes that mentality spoken of the Roman satirist: 'Virtutem videant, intabescantque relicta'. 'Let them see virtue and pine for it, for now it is beyond their reach.' No condition of the mind is worse than to forget the Heavens from which we fall, for then we lose all aspirations."

This is a time of drought, but we know God will provide in the way He sees best. If you are moved by the Holy Spirit to help The DAILY CATHOLIC financially, we are deeply grateful. You can help at Yes, I believe in what you're doing.
