With this issue and throughout October we will be publishing an issue each Monday. This is far fewer issues than we had hoped, but the editor is recuperating and hopeful of publishing more frequently in November. You will still be able to get the news daily here and we will provide enough content to keep one busy throughout the week.
In this issue we introduce two new series. "The Great Sacrilege" by Father James F. Wathen, O.S.J. It is a work he wrote in 1971 and is more pertinent today than ever. We also bring you Atila Sinke Guimarães' column "On the BattleLine" with a shocking revelation of why Vatican II and the post-conciliar popes have not spoken out against communism.
Because of the importance of the Feast of Saint Michael the Archangel and its significance in light of so much that has happened this month and over the past 40 years, we decided to resume on this feast of the archangels which will carry through to the Feast of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Our Lady of the Rosary - Our Lady of Victory. We urge all to embrace the Holy Rosary and pray it as often as you can. It is the one thing we can cling to in these times that bring such sorrow and questions about our country, the world and the Church. There is a special World Wide Rosary Crusade launched by the Blue Army for God's intentions for all His children. We urge you to join in saying a Rosary daily, and, if possible, on the Feast of the Archangels, to say the full trilogy of the Sorrowful, Joyful and Glorious Mysteries. To aid you in this if you do not have a Rosary, go to the Rosary below and click on the beads which will take you to a special Rosary page which will help you pray the Rosary on-line. We cannot emphasize enough the tremendous power of the Rosary as well as the powerful prayer below composed by Pope Leo XIII:
Prayer to Saint Michael
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou O prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God, cast into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Click on the Rosary below to recite the full Rosary in either English or Latin.
