The Gall and Hypocrisy of those who oppose Right and Good


    Today's column is about gall and hypocrisy. Those two nouns apply only too well to two senators - one a senior, another a rookie. First, we have, unfortunately, Massachusetts Senator Edward M. Kennedy, the senior member of the long Kennedy dynasty that at one time supposedly stood for good Catholic politicians. Just as the hypocrites of the Scribes and the Pharisees sought to fool the public and were exposed by Jesus, so also He calls on the faithful to expose the hypocrites today, especially when they outwardly violate God's Laws and do so with defiance.

    The latest transgression has Ted Kennedy accusing former Senator John Ashcroft of playing the “politics of personal destruction” during the Senate confirmation hearings. Ashcroft, chosen by President Bush to be Attorney General of the U.S, is now in the line of fire of the Democratic Senators on the judiciary committee. They claim, by insinuation, since Ashcroft voted against the appointment of Judge Ron White, a Black, to a federal judgeship, that he is a racist and should not be attorney general.

    Forget that many other Senators voted the same, because White had a history of being weak on crime and the federal judgeship was a permanent position. Forget that Ashcroft had voted for 26 out of 27 Blacks to sit on the bench. Although Kennedy didn’t actually call Ashcroft a racist, that was clearly the implication.

    The real reason for attacking the credibility of John Ashcroft by Kennedy and the rest of the Democratic Senators on the committee is Ashcroft’s religious views -- he IS pro-life. He is of a religion that doesn't believe that babies in their mother's womb should be killed. Can you imagine that -- a compassionate, good religious man who wants to save lives, has no right to be attorney general. A view that was held by most Americans, until liberals invaded the Democratic party. This is also the view of most of the major denominations, including Catholics, Evangelicals and Orthodox Jews.

    Just because Kennedy, who is a supposed to be Catholic, doesn't take his religion seriously should tell you something about the man. Just because he says he is Catholic does not mean he lives as a Catholic and therein, is the problem. "Woe to the world because of scandals! For it must needs be that scandals come, but woe to the man through whom scandal does come!" (Matthew 18: 7).

    It’s a joke for Kennedy to utter the words of “personal destruction.” In a country where our founding fathers couldn’t make a move without including God, to our present situation, where a religious person is blasted by the Democrats because he takes his religion -- Christianity, seriously, unlike Kennedy -- has got to make satan ecstatic. Before Clinton came along, Kennedy led the politicians in scandals. Yet the people of Massachusetts are still mesmerized by this pied piper of hypocrisy.

    If Ashcroft was pro-choice/pro-abort, you can bet, he would get their vote. They loved Janet Reno, who went out of her way to protect Clinton, by NOT appointing a special prosecutor, to investigate illegal contributions to Clinton/Gore. Money traced to Red China in exchange for guided missile technology. Plus the renting of the Lincoln bedroom for campaign contributions and the list goes on and on and who has the time!?

    Reno was just fine for the Democrats to be attorney general, because she could be led by the nose as she and they embraced the “culture of death.” But a man beyond reproach, Ashcroft, because he honors God and all His Ten Commandments, lacks THEIR satanist principles to be Attorney General.

    They also lack the principles of decency. As an example of the hypocrisy, we have the junior senator on the hill who reeks of hypocrisy. Consider what Senator Hillary Clinton said yesterday morning that she is opposing Ashcroft because, are you ready for this? because he is "Bending the rule of law to fit his needs." Can you believe the gall and hypocrisy of that comment by someone who is suspected of paying off not only her Whitewater cronies and a sea of sins from the past, but most recently the suspicious and unwarranted pardons of Marc Rich and the Hassidic men in New York. Talk about bending the rules! The day before she said, "I have no opinion on the pardons." Talk about hypocrisy!

    The sooner people expose the truth -- that the Democratic party of yesteryear, is NO MORE. That they are now the party of evil -- of satan, the sooner our country will have a chance to repent and ask God’s forgiveness for committing the most vile, unconscionable sin imaginable -- the killing of His precious children -- 40 million since the infamous Roe Vs Wade Supreme Court decision in 1973; a decision NOT based on the law, or the Constitution, or even common sense.

    Would you believe that the majority said that, ”since we don’t know when life begins etc. etc. How about that for gall? Even though they didn’t know when life begins, they nevertheless, decided that it was a constitutional right to have your baby killed.

    There’s NOT a scientist in the world who could deny that life begins at conception. That decision was unfit for human consumption. Its stench worsens as the years roll by. Because of modern technology, it has been found that the unborn, of the human species is a highly complex, sentient, functioning individual. This is an established scientific fact. The human unborn does respond to stimuli -- this is established beyond any reasonable doubt. Real time ultrasonography, fetoscopy, study of fetal EKG and fetal EEG have demonstrated the remarkable responsiveness of the human fetus to pain, touch, and sound. Observations of the fetal electrocardiogram and the increase in fetal movements in saline abortions indicate that the fetus experiences pain as it dies.

    I, for the life of me, cannot understand how anyone with the IQ above that of a turnip, could have arrived at that abominable decision. I would think, with all we know now, that a first year law student could win the case, strictly on the following document alone: "We hold these truths to be self- evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

    Notice -- it does NOT say that all men are "born equal." It says, "all men are CREATED EQUAL." Human life was created when the sperm fertilizes the ovum (egg) -- conception and thus entitled to their constitutional rights. This is what our founding fathers intended. It is written in BLACK and WHITE. They called abortions, “child murder.” The products of conception are human and they DO exist, thus human beings. The definition of a human being is “a person,” and the definition of a person is “a human being.” What’s next for the Democrats -- change the meaning of words in the dictionary to suit their agenda?

    The Supreme Court majority, if they had done their homework, had to look no further than the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE. They didn't and, because of the devil's disciples like Ted Kennedy, satan's agenda has been allowed to go uncheckes...until now!

    Let us pray that the new administration will be successful in reestablishing all our founding fathers intended, beginnning with every one being created equal by a Creator Who alone has the right to take or make life! You can be assured the hypocrites will do all they can to derail the compassionate conservatives and faith-based initiatives, but prayer will win out if we have a sincere heart and a purpose to protect life from conception to the grave. As Jesus says so often in Matthew 23, if they continue in their sin then the hypocrites be damned. That's not me speaking, that's what Jesus said.
