In my last column I 'outed' eight Catholic Senators who call themselves 'Catholic,' but in their actions are
anathema. "If any man does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be anathema" (1 Corinthians 16: 22).
I say this because how can one love Jesus if they are promoting the killing of His innocent ones. They may say they love Jesus, but their actions betray this. They do not love God and their lies need to be exposed.
Since that time I have discovered more who who call themselves 'Catholic' and, by their actions are hypocrites. As a refresher, here are the eight again:
- Senators TED KENNEDY and JOHN KERRY
of Massachusetts
- Senator BARBARA MIKULSKI of Maryland
- Senator DICK DURBIN of Illinois
- Senator TOM HARKIN of Iowa
- Senator JACK REED
of Rhodes Island
- Senator PATTY MURRAY of Washington and
- Senator CHRIS DODD of Connecticut
Remember their names. They are in the same class as the
abortionists, who kill unborn babies for a living. THEY signed
the death warrants.
The Senate was only three votes shy of having the necessary two-thirds
vote to overturn Clinton’s veto of the ban on partial-birth abortions, which
was passed overwhelmingly in Congress. The House had enough votes to
overturn Clinton’s veto, but the Senate was only three votes shy.
Just think, had just three of the above EIGHT CATHOLIC SENATORS
voted with the majority, about 5,000 viable babies would have been saved
every year, from these late term painful and gruesome executions.
Then you have those who, though they did vote to ban partial-birth abortion, they are still pro-choice, pro-abort as evidenced by their voting record and/or their repugnant treatment of Pro-life John Ashcroft
during the judicial hearings:
- Senator JOSEPH BIDEN of Delaware
- Senator TOM DASCHLE of South Dakota
- Senator
MARY LANDRIEU of Louisiana
- Senator PATRICK LEAHY of Vermont and
- Senator DANIEL MOYNIHAN* of New York
Democrats all!
Biden is included in this list because he had a 67% pro-life voting record. He may
think that's good, but it should have been 100% like John Ashcroft
and others. I didn't include the original eight because they voted not to ban partial
birth abortions. But their records were terrible.
Thank God, *Moynihan is retired. More pro-abort senators and representatives need to retire or retreat.
Biden and Leahy were on the Judicial committee and gave John
Ashcroft a hard time. They were so concerned that Ashcroft
would influence President George W. Bush to appoint pro-life justices to the Supreme
Court. Can you imagine that and they are Catholic?
How satan must love these 'Catholic' Senators. He managed the coup of the
ages. To be able to entice members of the only religion that can be traced
back to his nemesis, Jesus Christ; to shun the will of God for political gain
and in so doing, condemned to death thousands of viable babies every year;
not to mention the 1.4 million children of God, who are killed in earlier
term, every year.
Unless the Bishops excommunicate these fourteen Catholic henchmen of
satan, the Catholic Church in America will continue to be looked upon as being in the hip pocket of the
Democratic Party, NOW, NARAL, Planned Parenthood, and all others who promote the "culture of death."
If you think the Senate is bad, consider that the House has 57 so-called 'Catholics' who
voted for the culture of death, who signaled, like the Romans, "thumbs down" to kill the babies.
These representatives are:
- THOMAS BARRETT, JERRY KLECZKA and DAVID OBEY of Wisconsin
- XAVIER BECERRA, BRIAN BILBRAY, TOM CAMPBELL, ANNA ESHOO, MATTHEW MARTINEZ, GEORGE MILLER, NANCY PELOSI, GRACE NAPOLITANO, LORETTA SANCHEZ, and ELLEN TAUSCHER - all of California
- JOHN BALDACCI of Maine
- SHERWOOD BOEHLERT, JOSEPH CROWLEY, MAURICE HINCHEY, CAROLYN McCARTHY, CHARLES RANGEL, and JOSE SERRANO of New York
- DAVID BONIOR, JOHN DINGELL, ROBERT BRADY, and WILLIAM COYNE of Pennsylvania
- MICHAEL CAPUANO, WILLIAM DELAHUNT, EDWARD MARKEY, JAMES McGOVERN, MARTY MEEHAN, and RICHARD NEAL of Massachusetts
- WILLIAM CLAY and KAREN McCARTHY of Missouri
- ROSA DeLAURO, JOHN LARSON, and JAMES MALONEY of Connecticut
- LANE EVANS and LUIS GUTIERREZ of Illinois
- CHARLES GONZALEZ, RUBEN HINOJOSA, NICHOLAS LAMPSON, SILVESTRE REYES, and CIRO RODRIQUEZ of Texas
- BILL LUTHER and BRUCE VENTO of Minnesota
- WILLIAM PASCRELL, FRANK PALLONE, and ROBERT MENENDEZ of New Jersey
- JAMES MORAN of Virginia
- ED PASTOR of Arizona
- MARK FOLEY of Florida
- CYNTHIA McKINNEY of Georgia
- PETER VISCLOSKY of Indiana
- CONNIE MORELLA of Maryland
- MARCY KAPTUR of Ohio
- PETER DeFAZIO of Oregon and
- PATRICK KENNEDY of Rhode Island.
People, who reside in the states of these Senators know they are 'Catholic.'
They KNOW they have NOT been excommunicated. hence they figure
if the Catholic Church doesn’t care, it must be OK to be a pro-abort.
It must be just fine to kill babies while they’re being born. Because surely
the Catholic hierarchy would have kicked these advocates of killing God’s
most precious children -- out, long ago.
They are a cancer and they MUST be removed if the Catholic Church in
America is to remain in good health. Of this, there should be NO question.
Their excommunication should be made PUBLIC, so that our country KNOWS
that the Catholic Church WILL NOT compromise the will and word of God.
I call on the Bishops to stand and be counted!
And one wonders why Catholics vote for pro-abort candidates at a rate
higher than the rest of the populace? The above eight should have been voted
out of office long ago, if the Bishops in those highly Catholic populated
states had put God first and NOT the almighty dollar.
These Catholic Senators and Representatives exposed above care nothing about the Catholic Church. The
Democratic party comes first. This party which is now controlled by satan,
is vehemently against the Sanctity of Life. One cannot be Pro Life and
expect to move up the political ladder in this party. Of the 71 unmasked, only 5 are Republicans.
They are Californians Bilbray and Campbell, Maryland's Morella, New York's Sherwood Boehlert, and Florida's Mark Foley. 66 out of 71 are Democrats. What a fitting number: 66!
If ALL bishops would begin to exercise their prophetic charism to
absolutely condemn the abortion murder holocaust, it would necessarily
come to a crashing halt. It's absolutely schizophrenic that the Catholic
Church in the US, the most powerful of all denominations with 60 million,
is the least effective and silent in removing the cancerous political
agents of death who are in power.
That Catholics, with the silent approbation of the majority of Bishops in
the heavily Catholic populated New England states, including New York,
Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, voted for Clinton and Gore, the most
corrupt and destructive administration in the history of the U.S. It is an
outrageous scandal that cries to Heaven for retribution. I cannot help but
think that God will not let this go on much longer and that in His Justice,
He will intervene in history with mighty signs and deeds. May God
have mercy on the innocent and may God have mercy on the Catholic
Church for its half-hearted attempt to rid our country of the American
holocaust -- the killing of unborn babies.
Catholics, who say that abortions are wrong, but still believe
that it's a decision that a woman should make, because it's her
body, ARE pro-aborts. There is no such thing as pro-choice,
because to be pro-choice is to condone and perpetuate evil.
If one truly and down deep in their heart believe in God, that
statement CANNOT be made -- it is oxymoronic. It is said,
because it is thought to give credence to their agenda. They are
kidding no one -- especially not God. To be pro-choice is to be
a pro-abort -- they ARE synonymous. Both propagate and lead
to the same conclusion -- death and both disobey God, by mocking
His commandment "Thou Shalt Not Kill."
Bishops and priests MUST practice what they preach - "...what does it profit
a man if he gains the whole world, but suffers the loss of his soul."
They MUST NOT put money above God. They are so afraid of their
tax status being taken from them that they have lost their way.
There are exceptions -- one of which is retired Bishop Thomas J. Welsh,
who blasted Catholic voters who voted for pro-abortion candidates
Bishop Welsh, the founding bishop of the Arlington Diocese in Virginia,
has expressed great frustration at the voting pattern of most Catholics in
the United States during the recent election.
Said the Bishop, "I find it most alarming because in this election there was
a clear-cut choice. We had the experience of the last eight years of the
political consequences of a pro-abortion government-- all the things that
they can do at the local, national, and international levels," he said.
The bishop, who now lives in retirement in his native Allentown,
Pennsylvania,
was troubled not only by hypocritical citizens but also politicians.
"What disturbs me, then, is the politician, man or woman, who wants to
have it both ways," he said. "They say, 'I'm a Catholic,' then espouse
all sorts of things that the Catholic Church says are wrong," he said in the
interview with the Arlington Catholic Herald.
He lamented that the Church is constrained in what she is allowed to say by
her tax-exempt status. He noted lawsuits have been filed costing the Church
hundreds of thousands of dollars to defend, centering on stripping the tax
status of the Church based on charges that she is too political.
The bishop suggests that the time may come when the Church has to say
she will give up her tax-exempt status since, "our message isn't getting
out."
He noted his speech was restricted, saying, "But with the responsibility of
being a bishop, I can't speak as a private citizen anymore. I would like to. I
should be able to."
"If you say the Church is wrong about one serious issue like the pro-life
stance, then you're undermining the whole nature of the Church. The Lord
didn't say, 'I'm with you all the time, except on some major issues.' ...
The Church is supposed to be guiding people on a day-to-day basis on how to
get to Heaven ... We are saying this (abortion) is intrinsically evil."
Now there is a site dedicated to pressuring the bishops into following the
mandate Cardinal Norberto Rivera Carrera, the Archbishop of Mexico City, asserted last summer.
That is that, "Anyone who promotes or practices abortion,
including legislators and governors, will be
excommunicated by the Church." That site is www.excommunication.net.
Yes, we need to put the pressure on these American successors of the Apostles that they
will be true to the principles, doctrines and traditions of the Church and speak out forcefully
like Saint Paul in defending Christ and His little ones in the womb. If we have to
shame them into taking action, so be it. However if it's going to happen, we must exert
all the influence we can on the bishops and Catholics to not only have them excommunicated
in order to send a clear message to those 50% who voted for pro abort candidates, but also
to vote them out of office. Believe me, when push comes to shove and they realize the Catholics
are going to vote as a bloc, they'll become Pro Life very quickly. In so doing, they'll overwhelmingly
approve conscientious constructionist Supreme Court judges appointed by our Pro Life President and,
before long, yes, within our lifetime - Roe vs. Wade will be overturned!
