"Good is never done except at the expense of those who do it: truth is
never enforced except at the sacrifice of its proponents - for nothing
would ever be done at all, if a man waited to do so well, that no one could
find fault with it." John Cardinal Newman

The difference between night and day!
The monstrosity cathedral rising up in LA reminds one of an Egyptian tomb, whereas the majestic San Luis Rey Mission sparkles as the crown jewel of the California Missions that speak proudly the traditions of Catholicism.
In this issue we introduce another new series on Catholic culture by Marian Therese Horvat, Ph.D. who is an expert on the subject. In her inaugural column, Dr. Horvat compares the mummified temple being built on Temple in downtown LA, that is supposed to represent the neo-Catholic architecture and 'new evangelization,' to the tried and true architecture and Faith 100 miles south in Oceanside, California at the San Luis Rey Mission. The latter is the King of the Missions established by the persevering Franciscan Blessed Junipero Serra over two centuries ago. Which of these two churches calls you to prayer and a oneness with God? Yes, it is a difference of night and day. That difference, sadly, is reflected in the Faith today as well. For her column, The Poor Church of the Rich and the Rich Church of the Poor, see ECHOES OF TRUE CATHOLICISM

Why, oh why, did Rome not heed the sage wisdom of Cardinal Ottaviani and the International Group of Fathers?
The Ottaviani Intervention Papers show without a shadow of a doubt the errors of Vatican II and the direction the progressivists were taking with the Novus Ordo
We continue with our series of articles in promoting the FirstCRUSADE of the 21st Century for it is a call to arms, a call to all loyal, faithful Catholics to defend the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. We present in this issue the third chapter of the cornerstone of the Vatican II counter-reformation - the Ottaviani Intervention, a letter to Pope Paul VI that went unheeded. Rather than listening to the wisdom of Church teaching so eloquently detailed in arguments provided by Alfredo Cardinal Ottaviani and Antonio Cardinal Bacci, Paul VI listened to the sirens of satan in the advice of his secretary of State Annibale Cardinal Bugnini, a known mason and admitted Marxist.
For part three of the Ottaviani Intervention, see FirstCRUSADE of the 21st Century
Christ wants to mirror His Mercy and Glory in the outward manifestations that man erects to reflect thanks and adoration to God
"He desired to establish this devotion to the Sacred Heart as a further benefice and aid for man to achieve salvation. It is a manifestation of superabundance, superabundance quite fitting to His Nature. There is a tendency in our times to try to reduce this aspect of Christ as manifested in the magnificence and wealth of the Church - in Her cathedrals, altars, liturgy, ceremonies, etc. Thus could devotion to His Sacred Heart be interpreted as a legitimation and even the glorification of the superfluous."
On the fourth installment by Atila Sinke Guimarães and Marian Therese Horvat, Ph.D.- two outstanding writers who are among the leaders at the forefront of the growing Traditional movement internationally - enlighten the reader further on the mission of Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque to reawaken a slumbering world of France and Europe of the 17th century and today - for the global community - to the necessity of restoring the rightful kingship to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Who alone must reign as supreme in all society. France did not listen and all of Europe suffers today because of it. It is time to raise the roof, sound the clarion from the ramparts and rooftops. This is all necessary to bring about a successful campaign for the FirstCRUSADE of the 21st Century. The Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar
"Hoc est enim corpus Meum. Hic est enim calix sanguinis Mei. Novi et aeterni testamenti: Mysterium fidei: Qui pro vobis et pro multis effundetur in remissionem peccatorum."
In our 234th installment of our catechetical series on My Catholic Faith we continue our series on the most august Sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist with part four, the The New Sacrifice that explains the vital importance of why Christ gave us, until the end of the world, Himself, present Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. This series will delve extensively in future issues into the meaning of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. At the words spoken by the priest at the Consecration in the Canon of the Mass, the bread and wine are confected into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Those words, spoken by Christ, are gleaned from Matthew 26: 26-28, Mark 14: 22-24, and Luke 22: 19-20. It is the New Covenant - the New Sacrifice that replaces the old sacrafice, the old covenant. For the fourth part on the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, see APPRECIATING THE PRECIOUS GIFT OF OUR FAITH.
Pray for those who stubbornly continue to legislate pro-abortion measures and pray for their bishops as well!
Our series of "Herod's Hero" is now complete and we encourage you to review who is on this list, to tell your friends and parishioners, and to contact those who violate the 5th Commandment and their respective bishops and call on the latter to enforce the disciplines the Church demands. For the 13 betrayers in the Senate, their bishops and 5 governors, see SENATE, and for the 54 pro-aborts in the U.S. House, who claim to be Catholic, see HOUSE. Do all you can to help stop the horrible Holocausts of the Womb. See HEROD'S HEROES
Please SIGN THE PETITION TO THE POPE to end the hypocrisy of pro-abort 'Catholic' politicians once and for all! See PETITION TO THE HOLY FATHER

Find out for yourself the truths as we present a compendium portal of documents from Trent to present day. We guarantee you if you read it all with a discerning heart you will be able to decipher the wheat from the chaff, understand what the absolutes of our Faith are and not be fooled by modernism and ambiguities, no matter how cleverly they are couched. Remember satan is the father of half-truths.
