• Death of Saint Anicius Manlius Severinus Boethius, Roman martyr who was a great statesman and philosopher and one of the most revered scholastic theologians of those living in the Middlle Ages. His greatest work was The Consolations of Philosophy, written while he was a prisoner before his death sentence.

• 1456 A.D.

• 1988 A.D.
• Pope John Paul II beatifies Blessed Nicolaus Steno also known as Niels Stensen.
