Sounds pretty complicated doesn't it. Let me put it more in lay terms. When a first time pregnant teenager has an induced abortion, does she know for sure when she'll have her first term birth? No, and neither does the abortionist. Her first term birth could be one year away, or ten, fifteen, or twenty years away. If the induced abortion procedure has the side-effect of sterilization, she'll enter a high breast cancer risk group -- childless women. Thus, abortionists MUST warn women about TOTAL breast cancer risk including the delayed first birth risk -- but they DON'T,

    There are TWO independent 'ABC' (Abortion-Breast-Cancer) risks.

• 1 - Delayed first full term birth, which was just discussed.
• 2 - Interrupted pregnancy, other than the first.

    The induced abortion is 280 times more deadly than childbirth for women who have a first pregnancy induced abortion. For women who carry the first pregnancy to term but subsequently have an induced abortion, the induced abortion is 180 times more deadly than childbirth. Does that sound like fun? No, I didn't think you'd say that. Yes, you're right, they didn't tell you. That's the way they operate. So when young girls have an abortion, they are NOT making their lives easier. The problems are just beginning. However, since a term birth actually saves the lives of pregnant women (on a NET basis), clearly, elective induced abortion is incalculably more dangerous than a term pregnancy.    

• Aspect No. 2 Drug and Alcohol abuse

  A study reported in the March issue of the prestigious American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse found that women with even one abortion were five times more likely to abuse drugs or alcohol. The study was authored by David C. Reardon, Ph.D., director of the Elliot Institute, and Dr. Philip Ney, a B.C. psychiatrist and post- abortion counseling specialist. According to them, this is the 16th study connecting abortion to drug or alcohol abuse.

      Researchers from the statistical analysis unit of Finland's National Research and Development Center for Welfare and Health, found that compared to women who carried to term, women who aborted in the year prior to their deaths were 60 percent more likely to die of natural causes, seven times more likely to die of suicide, four times more likely to die of injuries related to accidents, and 14 times more likely to die from homicide. "Even though this important study was published in the top Scandinavian obstetrics journal, it has been completely ignored by the American press," Reardon said.

      "Even worse, abortion counselors continue to lie to American women. They are telling women that abortion is safer than childbirth, when this and other irrefutable studies prove exactly the opposite. The entire body of medical literature clearly shows that abortion contributes to a decline in women's physical and mental health. Women aren't hearing this. Nor are they being told that giving birth actually contributes to women's overall health, not only in comparison to those who abort but also in comparison to women who have not been pregnant."

      Reardon believes that abortion providers are collaborating with population control zealots to conceal the risks of abortion in order to advance their own financial and social engineering agendas. "If they were really pro-choice, they would want women to know about abortion's true risks," he said. "Instead, they are offering women a bundle of half-truths and complete fabrications."

• Aspect No. 3 Premature Babies on subsequent pregnancies

      A major complication of abortions are subsequent premature deliveries. This is a VERY serious matter and is increasing as the years roll by, because of legalized abortions on demand.

      Not only are most abortions not medically necessary, evidence grows that they are medically destructive to the mother and to subsequent children. For instance, abortion is almost certainly adding to the growing number of premature babies born each year in hospitals. Most are low birth weight--under five pounds five ounces--and at greater risk for birth defects, visual and hearing impairments, delayed speech, and subject to many other illnesses and therefore, a higher death rate.

      In December 1999 the very respected medical publication Obstetrics and Gynecology reported the results of a very large study of over 61,000 Danish women. The conclusion follows:

  • 1.- Women with a previous induced abortion have a doubled risk of a very preterm birth (gestation under 34 weeks)
  • 2.- Women with two (2) previous 'evacuation' abortions have over a 1100% increased risk of a preterm birth (compared to women with no previous induced abortions). (Obstetrics and Gynecology, Zhou W et al, 1999;94:948.

    Dr. Barbara Luke, associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Michigan and author of nine books, including, “Every Pregnant Woman's Guide to Preventing Premature Birth,” says "Abortion means you're artificially opening the cervix, and anytime you do that women can have risks later on."

    One need not be a physician to come to the same conclusion as Dr. Luke. It is just plain common sense. Anytime a part of the body is seriously traumatized, it will NOT function in a normal manner. In abortions, not only is the cervix traumatized severely, but so is the lining of the uterus -- many have been punctured, resulting in death. Is it any wonder that it is much harder for a woman to maintain a pregnancy, let alone, hold it for 40 weeks.    

• Aspect No. 4 Physical Complications of Abortions

      I’ll just mention the most serious of these -- hemorrhage, infection, ruptured uterus, subsequent ectopic pregnancies and sterility. • Aspect No. 5 Emotional and Mental Problems

      Problems other than the increase use of alcohol and drugs, include promiscuity, depression, flashbacks, concentration problems, and dramatic personality changes. 90% of women having abortions suffer damage to their self-esteem. Recent studies show that approximately 20% of women having abortions will suffer full-blown, clinically diagnosable, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and over 50% will have some PTSD symptoms.

• Aspect No. 6 Car Accidents

      What is the number one killer of young people, ages 15-24? 'Car Crashes', which should surprise no one. Are pregnant women much less likely to die in car crashes than non-pregnant women? Yes, over 80% less likely. The well regarded medical publication, Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, published a study covering five years in the United States, when about 16,200,000 births occurred. A surprisingly very low 41 pregnant women died in car accidents. Thus, there was less than one death per 100,000 pregnant women per year. This implies that pregnant women are extremely cautious. The odds of a non-pregnant female dying in a car crash are 14.45 per 100,000 per year. How many young (age 15- 24) pregnant women are saved from 'car crash deaths' via being pregnant? 13.77/100,000 per year.

• Aspect No. 7 Child abuse

      Since Roe Vs. Wade, child abuse of other children has skyrocketed, due to guilt feelings.

    In spite of all of the above, the website of Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the world, continues to declare: "Today abortion is about twice as safe as having your tonsils out and is safer than childbirth." Have they NO shame? You can begin now to see the lies you've been fed.

    It’s amazing that in a country, where lawsuits are brought at the drop of a hat, how in the world, has Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics managed to keep its head above water. This is one for the ages. Or, is satan working overtime to make sure that God’s most precious creations are destroyed?

    The Biblical passage comes to mind, “Man reaps what he sows."

    I hope I've given you something to think about. And to all other women who are thinking about having their child killed -- you will NOT be making your life easier. In the course of your lifetime, you WILL be the loser and your post abortion children, if you didn’t become sterile from the abortion, may be handicapped, (provided they have escaped death), due to your self indulgence. There will be no winners, when a life is expunged from the face of the earth -- only losers.

    And that's just the physical side of it. Think about the mental part of it, forever regretting your actions in youth, your selfish decision. You will forever rue the day you said yes to killing your child. Many who have had abortions are mental cases today because of the overwhelming guilt they live with and they don't know how to cope.

    And then there's the spiritual side. How can you reconcile yourself with God if you have deliberately decided to play god yourself and end a life? Have you no shame? Allow me to, in a fatherly way, admonish you to think of others, not yourself, think of Christ's words, "Allow the little ones to come unto Me." How can they when you're helping prevent that by willfully murdering your own flesh and blood. Yes, your own flesh and blood. Try that on for size. It doesn't sound very good does it. In fact, quite barbaric; especially after all the mollifying and sugar-coating Planned Parenthood and Hollywood have fed you about "your choice." Well, they're right in one way. It is your choice. God has given you a free will. But after reading this and praying with a mother's heart, I would hope and pray you'll choose to keep your baby, choose life!
