The Feast of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary is the zenith of the month dedicated to her Most Sorrowful Heart as we stand with Our Lady at the foot of the Cross and contemplate all she has done for each of us for A Mother's Love Knows No Bounds. Yes, she weeps. Wouldn't you? It is, as the headline above states, the "Ides of Sorrow" with the deterioration of the world situation and the plunge of the CONciLIAR church into total insanity as Catholicism is now openly being mocked because of the apostates who have eclipsed the Spotless Bride of Christ. We can only hope and pray, more will see that Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis is the most dangerous in the line of antichrist 'popes' from Roncalli on with the foretold Great Apostasy that has caused even more sorrow and definitely the loss of souls. We must alleve Mother Mary's sorrow and stand our ground wherever we are, informing others that the true, unadulterated Faith still exists and it in no way resembles the 'Catholicism-lite' that is being peddled to so many today, which has caused more to be lax or, worse, anti-Catholic as the casualties of lukewarm souls grow. We owe it to Mary's divine Son to do all we can to restore His holy Church. No matter the cost.

And speaking of cost, we want to bring you an update on Cyndi's condition. Though she is still fighting for her life, she is finally out of the hospital and back home, but requires homecare and a hospice nurse to tend to her needs. The doctors do not offer much hope but she accepts whatever is God's will. Being home has produced big smiles all around and, contrary to what the doctors expected, psychologically being in familiar surroundings has helped her immensely. Plus, she doesn't have to fend off the 'eucharistic' ministers who peddle wafers daily in the once-Catholic Scripps-Mercy Hospital. The time necessary for this editor, her husband to devote to her, will curtail writing as much on these pages as we have in the past, and future editions may be more abbreviated, but we are sure all our readers will understand. Hopefully they will also understand our need for funds after being hospitalized for 17 days. Anyone who has spent time under such meticulous medical care will realize, that even with insurance, the bills will start to trickle in one by one from sources most have never heard of. Any help our readers can offer is greatly, greatly appreciated. We want to acknowledge those who to this point have cared and shared to respond on behalf of "Cyndi's Angels" and they know who they are. Just know Our Lord and Our Lady know who they are as well, and, well, that's all that really counts. Those who do not know what happened to Cyndi can go to Give what you can; God will do the rest

The Church commemorates by two Feasts the martyrdom suffered by Our Lady, one of two feasts devoted to this same devotion in union with the Passion of Her Divine Son Jesus and His Holy Cross. The First Feast, kept on Passion Friday before Palm Sunday especially commemorates "the Compassion of Mary;" while the second, kept today on September 15, the devotion to the Seven Sorrows. This feast commemorates the seven sorrows (Seven Dolors) of the Blessed Mother of God which are documented in Sacred Scripture beginning with the prophecy of Simeon (cf. Luke 2:34), the flight into Egypt (cf. Matthew 2:13), losing the child Jesus in Jerusalem (cf. Luke 2: 46), meeting her Divine Son on the way to Calvary, the Crucifixion, the Pieta, and laying Jesus in the Sepulchre (cf. Luke 23: 49-56). This feast was first introduced by Saint Anselm and various Benedictines in the 11th Century which took on steam in the following century but did not get promoted universally until the 14th and 15th centuries when the Cistercians and Servites emphasized its importance and relevance in Church liturgy and in devotion to Mary's role in the ...More

Day Seven of

This is the signature feast for the month of September dedicated to Our Sorrowful Mother. In Passion Week this feast precedes Holy Week and the Triumph of the Cross, but this month it is that triumph, the Exaltation of the Holy Cross which immediately preceded this Double of the Second Class Feast of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Seventh Sword that pierced Mary's heart was what she might have thought, in her own human nature, the last she would ever see of her beloved Son for Then came the moment that meant for the Mother of God a physical separation from Her Divine Son as His body was hastily, but reverently placed in the tomb, and with the help of the holy women and St. John, she returned to the House of the Last Supper, to wait and watch in prayerful supplication to the Father, for the moment of her Divine Son's Resurrection from the Dead. The apostles were dispersed, devastated by the events of that past week when their emotions ebbed and flowed and fear took over. Mary, alone, had to remain steadfast in her faith. She could not and would not waver in her faith even for a ...More on The Burial of her divine Son

The VerbumQUO for the Feast of the Seven Dolors of the Blessed Virgin Mary is "Stabat Mater" meaning "The Mother stood" or "The Mother was standing" and is the well-known 13th century Gregorian Chant Hymn, taken from the Sequence Stabat Mater for the second of two feasts in the liturgical year for Our Lady of Sorrows; the September observance being the greater Double Feast of the Seven Sorrows. The entire month of September is dedicated to the Most Sorrowful Mother. In Passion Week this feast precedes Holy Week and the Triumph of the Cross, but this month it is that triumph, the Exaltation of the Holy Cross which immediately precedes this Double of the Second Class Feast of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We see the meaning in A Mother's Love that Knows No Bounds

To enhance each Sunday's Epistle and Gospel we present this special feature provided by John Gregory with the Haydock Commentary found at the bottom of each page of the Douay-Rheims Bible. The focus of the Commentary for the Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost is the virtue of love. St. Paul introduces this greatest of Christian virtues to the Ephesians, the very same command Our Lord announces to all. It catches the Pharisees off guard as they try to trick Him, but we all know you cannot fool God. You'll note, from that time on they didn't question Christ again until, of course, He had been arrested and thrust into a Kangaroo court, so to speak. At all times He edified the kind of love we must extend to all, including our enemy in praying for their eternal salvation. God's Love Conquers All

This is the sixtieth of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. Reason sixty is that by worthily hearing Holy Mass we will be preserved from many misfortunes that otherwise would vanquish us.

This is the sixtieth of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number sixty: Because we recognize the Primacy of Peter and a true Pope's supreme authority in his universal government of Holy Mother Church, but we know that even this authority cannot impose upon us a practice which is so CLEARLY against the Faith: a Mass that is equivocal and favoring heresy and therefore disagreeable to God...which also proves the man posing as pope is a heretic and therefore void of any authority or office.

Pope Saint Cornelius succeeded St. Fabian as Pope in 251. He behaved with zeal and piety in his pastoral charge and adhered to his duty with courage and steadfastness. The holy Pope suffered martyrdom, September 14, 252. Saint Cyprian, Archbishop of Carthage and Primate of Africa, laid down his life for Christ on September 14, 258, six years later, to the day, after his friend St. Cornelius. St. Cyprian, one of the most famous of the earlier Fathers of the Church. There is a commemoration of Saints Euphemia, Lucy, and Geminianus, Martyrs as well today. St. Euphemia, a virgin of Chalcedon, suffered in the persecution continued by the successors of Diocletian, about the year 307. The Council of Chalcedon was held in her sepulchral church. St. Lucy and St. Geminianus, two other martyrs who suffered in ...More

Griff Ruby files his fourth installment of his series "Accepting Responsibility" in asking when will the Mystical Body of Christ stand up like a man. It is high time our true Shepherds gather together and grab the nets to work in unison for reuniting the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Through the past four plus decades the fishing prospects have not been good. Why do you think that is? Because while fish swim in schools, those who aim to land a considerable catch through conversion are not going to school on what Christ taught His Apostles. Instead each traditional Bishop drops his line in one area and expects to catch a few, but has no intention to call on his peers to work together as one to gather a large haul for Heaven. Either they are jealous of their fellow Bishops or fear they'll be isolated and ridiculed and so they do little if anything to foster the Faith outside of their own concentric pool. What do they fear? The conciliar newchurch? Please, they're not even Catholic? Do they fear reprisal from the community where they reside? If so, then they shouldn't be Fishers of Men. What they really fear is that they would go off the deep end because they are of a mindset that they don't have the authority to come together and reinstate a true Pope. Ah, but if all arguments to that obstacle are refuted, then what is their excuse? They have none! Therefore, it's time, Your Excellencies, to pull together in fulfilling your duty to cast forth thy nets. Griff lays it out in To Be Trusted, True Fishers of Men Must Trust

This is the sixty-first of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. Reason sixty-one is by worthily hearing Holy Mass we will also be strengthened against temptations which would otherwise have vanquished us as well.

This is the sixty-first of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number sixty-one: Because, as stated in Vatican Council I, the "Holy Spirit was not promised to the successors of Peter, that by His revelation they might make new doctrine, but that by His assistance they might inviolably keep and faithfully expound the revelation or deposit of faith delivered through the Apostles." (D.S. 3070) We can see so clearly the divide between true Popes and false popes for the latter are the antithesis of Catholicism.

While Saint Francis of Assisi, in September 1224, was rapt in meditation on Mount Alvernia, Almighty God as a mark of His special favor deigned to impress on his hands, feet, and side the likeness of the sacred wounds of Christ. Until the day of the saint's death blood flowed from these wounds at intervals. Pope Sixtus V ordered this feast to be observed by the whole Church. Clement VIII suppressed it, because the Church only dedicates special solemnities to the mysteries of our redemption; particular favors granted to the saints by God directly concern their individual sanctification and are commemorated when the life of each saint is read in the Breviary on ...More

While many eschew the possibility of sedevacantism, none other than the respected founder of the Franciscans begs to differ from his prognostication given shortly before his death in the thirteenth century. Thus on this feast of the holy friar's being imprinted with the visible Stigmata of our Savior's wounds, we bring you the essence of what he said and the rational to look at the facts as they stand today and ask yourself if you still believe that those men who so many consider 'popes' during this time of the Great Apostasy were or are not Destroyers rather than true Pastors for true shepherds would obey Christ and not veer one iota from the holy Faith. Truly the saint of Assisi saw into the future through Heaven's permission and through discernment of the Scriptures to know that this time was coming. He may not have known when exactly, but now we have the advantage of knowing we are living in that very time and it is up to us the faithful to do something about it and pass on to others The Omens of St. Francis of Assisi for Our Times

This is the sixty-second of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. Reason sixty-two is that the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will also be for us a means of obtaining the grace of a holy death.

This is the sixty-second of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number Sixty-Two: Because heresy, or whatever clearly favors heresy, cannot be matter for obedience. Obedience is at the service of Faith and not Faith at the service of obedience! In this foregoing case then, "One must obey God before men." (Acts of the Apostles 5: 29) Everyone should be able to see that no Catholic owes any obedience to an apostate pope or any of those whom he appointed (see Cum ex Apostolatus Officio).

On this day of partial abstinence, all between 21 and 59 years of age are bound to fast and those over 7 must observe the law of abstinence. On days of fast only one full meal is allowed. Two other meatless meals, sufficient to maintain strength may be taken according to each one's need, but together they should not equal another full meal that includes meat. Eating between meals is not permitted but liquids, including milk and fruit juices are allowed.

John Gregory continues his series on Msgr. Joseph Clifford Fenton's list of eight documents on salvation in applying Pope Pius IX's allocution Singulari Quadam who urged the Bishops to use all of their energies to drive out the deadly error that the way of salvation can be found in any religion. To a certain extent this is a mere restatement of the erroneous opinion according to which we may well hope for the salvation of men who have never entered in any way into the Catholic Church, the first misinterpretation of Catholic teaching reproved in this section of the allocution. Yet, in another way, the error that the way of salvation can be found in any religion has its own peculiar and individual malignity. It is based on the false implication that the false religions, those other than the Catholic, are in some measure a partial approach to the fullness of truth which is to be found in Catholicism. According to this doctrinal aberration, the Catholic religion would be ...more on Singulari Quadam

This is the sixty-third of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. Reason sixty-three is that the love we show for the Holy Mass will secure for us the special succor (help) of the angels and saints in our last moments.

While the Priests of Campos and Bishop Castro de Mayer submitted 62 reasons, we produce pictures below of the rot of the false Mess.

"Eucharistic Celebration"

St. Januarius and companion martyrs were martyred during the persecution under Diocletian. St. Januarius, patron of the city of Naples and bishop of Beneventum, was beheaded with his deacons and some others. In the great church at Naples are preserved some of the blood of St. Januarius (also called St. Gennaro) in two glass phials, and also his head. The blood is congealed but every year up to the present, it liquefies when placed near the martyr's head. This miracle has been verified both by scientists and by many pious and learned persons. Cardinal Schuster, Archbishop of Milan, was able to observe it closely and, like others who have studied it, was obliged to confess that there seems to be no possible natural explanation of this event. It may be that in this manner God is pleased to show ...more

Yes, we are repeating Bill Metallo's article on Our Lady of La Salette mainly because today is the 167th anniversary of the apparition of Our Lady of La Salette and, as Bill writes, if we had only had been vigilant then we would have realized well before now the destruction already underway in the mid-nineteenth century. The Blessed Virgin warned us and yet we did not listen. Now we reap what we have sown. With what has happened just in the past few weeks and with the Argentinian who seems to have fulfilled Our Lady's prophesy that "Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist", we all need to wake the masses to warn of further catastrophe she so rightly foretold as an omen. We need to bring Vatican 2 Catholics back into the fold of the true Catholic Church; and to reveal the truth to Protestants and all false religions that, contrary to the apostate unFrancis, NO ONE existing outside the one, holy and apostolic Catholic Church can have a share in eternal life. Bill highlights the Prophesies imparted one hundred and sixty-seven ears ago today that show only too shockingly clear How the Faith will be Lost

This is the sixty-fourth of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. Reason sixty-four is that the remembrance of the Masses heard in our lifetime will be a sweet solace for us in the hour of death, and inspire us with confidence in God's divine Mercy.

While the Priests of Campos and Bishop Castro de Mayer submitted 62 reasons, we produce pictures below of the rot of the false Mess.

Just one of the bitter fruits the CONciLIAR church has wrought: "CONcelebration"!

Saint Eustachius, or Eustace, was an officer of the Roman army under Emperor Trajan. He was burned at the stake for the Faith, with his wife and children, during the reign of Emperor Hadrian. Griff Ruby files his fifth installment of his on-going series "Accepting Responsibility" in his valiant efforts to unlock the solution to resolving the Sede Vacante state in the Church. And what might that solution be? Simple, begin walking rightly in the authority imparted by our Lord Jesus Christ. That can only be done by the truly traditional Bishops and Priests as have publicly proven their hierarchical status in the Roman Catholic Church through the grace-giving works that they do. Our Lord was no less the long-prophesized Messiah, despite His continued refusal to declare it publicly or accept the role of king. Likewise, our traditional clerics are no less the fully regular and apostolic Catholic hierarchy, despite their reticence on this topic. "See the works that I do; what do they say of me?" The works they do say it all, though the direct lawful basis also exists for all that they do and must yet do, even to include calling a Conclave to elect a successor to the last truly Catholic Pope - His Holiness Pope Pius XII. While the latter's encyclical Mystici Corporis has been posited to deny the clerics' right to do this, you will see below the surface what it really pertains to and why it does not apply to the traditional Bishops and Priests today for there is not a cardinal within their ranks. But just as a clock needs the right gears and connections to work effectively as one effective timepiece, so also our clergy need to calibrate their consciences and commit to coming together for the good of souls everywhere before it's too late. It is important in this polemic in persuading our prelates of their need to heed its significance for if they do not, the faith will slow down because of the rust that ruins the rubrics and a failure to rein in resisters rebelling against commons sense and the sensus Catholicus. This then is a layman's sincere effort to motivate our traditional Bishops to begin setting things in gear as Griff pulls the right levers with The Key to Restoring the Keys of the Kingdom

This is the sixty-fifth of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. Reason sixty-five is that we will not be forgotten when we stand before the strict Judge and it will incline God to show us favor.

While the Priests of Campos and Bishop Castro de Mayer submitted 62 reasons, we produce pictures below of the rot of the false Mess.

What's wrong with this picture?

Saint Matthew was a Galilean by birth. In the Gospel he humbly relates the story of his own conversion. To the glory of an apostle he adds that of an evangelist. He wrote his Gospel in Aramaic, and it was afterwards translated into Greek. The Aramaic text has perished. This Gospel is a divinely inspired work included in Sacred Scripture. He gives the line of ancestors from whom Jesus descended as a man, and on this account is presented by the animal with a human face in the symbolical vision of Ezekiel. Little is known of his life; the Fathers in general say that he died in Persia. St. Paulinus of Nola asserts he died amongst the Parthians. When his remains were ...more

John Gregory presents a reflection on the Second Glorious Mystery as he shares how Our Lord has gone to prepare a place for us, and thus the effects of the Ascension remain an on-going mystery for Christ continues to prepare for us at the Father's right hand and in that wondrous news is extended the greatest hope to all for where Christ has gone He waits for us to follow in a place of everlasting happiness for those who are obedient to His teachings and cooperate with the divine Will. Just as Jesus left instructions for His Apostles, He has left us inerrant instructions that, if we follow fully, will assure us of being with Him forever as we see in The Second Glorious Mystery: The Ascension

On this Double of the Second Class Feast of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist St. Matthew, Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey shares some insight into this former tax collector who abandoned the world for a higher reward. You had better believe most were quite wary of this man for they had come to know him as an exactor of their hard-earned wages and resented him for what he did. Matthew realized this and set about to write his Gospel on the accounts he saw up close and personal on the life of this amazing man Who he realized was indeed the promised Messias. Tom points out the accuracy of Matthew's account and how the Modernists have tried to twist the formere tax man's words to tax souls with doubt. If one fully understands what this holy Apostle intended and wrote, there is no doubt that what He recorded is not in sync with the conciliar church of these times. Tom explains in his piece, From Caesar's Collector of Tribute to God's Collector of Souls

This is the sixty-sixth of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. Reason sixty-six is that we need not fear a long and terrible Purgatory if we have already, to a great extent, atoned for our sins by frequently assisting at Holy Mass.

Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst fix deep within my heart lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment, whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes the words which David in prophesy spoke concerning Thee, O Good Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.

When One Cannot physically Assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

For those who cannot be present for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

    Complete Prayer to Saint Michael

The following is the longer version of the vital prayer composed by Pope Leo XIII in 1888 after his startling vision as to the future of the Church. This prayer was dedicated for the Feast of St. Michael 1448 years from the date of the election of the first Leo - Pope Saint Leo the Great. Everyone is familiar with the first prayer below which was mandated by His Holiness as part of the Leonine Prayers after Low Mass. After Vatican II, in legion with the devil Giovanni Montini outlawed this necessary prayer and then one wonders how "the smoke of satan" got into the sanctuary? The conciliarists wanted to make sure the words in bold below would never see the light of day again for in it Leo foretold what would happen: The shepherd would be struck, the sheep scattered. Below are both the short and longer versions of this poignant prayer which should never be forgotten.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do thou, O heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

O glorious Archangel Saint Michael, Prince of the heavenly host, be our defense in the terrible warfare which we carry on against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, spirits of evil. Come to the aid of man, whom God created immortal, made in His own image and likeness, and redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil. Fight this day the battle of our Lord, together with the holy angels, as already thou hast fought the leader of the proud angels, Lucifer, and his apostate host, who were powerless to resist thee, nor was there place for them any longer in Heaven. That cruel, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil or Satan who seduces the whole world, was cast into the abyss with his angels. Behold ...more
