  Today for the ninth and final day of this Novena to the Holy Ghost we focus on the Fruits of the Holy Ghost. These provide grace to perform good works under the inspiration of the Advocate. They contribute to pleasing not only God, but ourselves and our fellow man. These fruits enable us to be more virtuous in our lives by practicing charity, joy, peace, patience, benignity, goodness, long-suffering, mildness, faith, modesty, continency and chastity. We dare say had more followed this Counsel, having the Gift of Wisdom through the Gifts of Knowledge and Understanding with the Gift of Fortitude for having a true Holy Fear via the Gift of the Fear of the Lord they would long to practice and acquire the Gift of Piety. Tomorrow we celebrate the arrival of the Sanctifier. Let us all strive to seek these seven Gifts He so generously bestows.Ninth and Final Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost
 Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today, on this last day of the oldest Novena in the Church - this to the Holy Ghost, The Blessed Virgin's divine Spouse and thus we honor her as Mother most chaste as we make an Act of Consecration to the Sanctifier while continuing to pray the Holy Rosary and contemplate on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.
    Today on the eighteenth day of May the flower is the delicate LAVENDER which is mauve in its lavender-like hues with the corresponding Virtue being MODESTY. This is appropriate for modesty is the cornerstone of chastity and purity. Nothing makes Our Lady happier than a pure heart and a pure heart begins with being pure in the flesh. What we wear governs how we think, where we place God in our lives. Like the Lavender, our souls are delicate and to be immodest in any way or not to practice custody of the eyes puts that delicateness in jeopardy. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Ghost and we must strive to adorn these temples with layers of clothing that are pleasing to our Almighty Creator, not man. What also is pleasing to God is when we pay honor to His Blessed Mother this month with the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
 
  Wisdom is the Gift of the Holy Ghost highlighted today. It follows Knowledge, Understanding, and Counsel in the line of combining mind and soul. This Novena is the oldest in the Church and it was with great wisdom that it was established as a devotion for all Catholics. The Gift of Wisdom enhances all the virtues and in these dire, dark times we all need to strengthen our faith against the wiles of the principalities of perdition. We need hope to forge on and persevere so that we will keep the faith, and, though charity towards others has been twisted to mean entitlement or redistribution among a generation who feel they are owed and this is mistakenly taken as charity, true charity requires the wisdom of giving because Christ asks us to give out of love for Him, not out of guilt or because we're pressured. With these Gifts of the Holy Ghost we are able to more clearly see the narrow path - the wise path - that alone leads to eternal life by turning our back on the world, the flesh and the devil.Eighth Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost
  There are many devotions we can practice throughout the day, but one of the most efficacious of these, besides the holy Rosary, is the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary which Karl D. Keller is anxious to share with all. There are various versions - long ones and short ones - dedicated to Our Lady and it is the intention here to share the approved devotion with Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from over a century ago with readers. Here Karl presents the fourth hour of the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary: Terce, which is actually the "Third Hour" from its name. Confused? The Church has a method to Her madness, so to speak, for 9 a.m. is considered the third hour with Prime being the first hour and Sext, which follows Terce is considered the Sixth hour.   On the seventeenth day of May the Virtue is FIDELITY IN LITTLE THINGS with the corresponding Flower being the beautiful LILAC. It is the little buds that group together in fidelity to the greater good God intended to emit the spring fragrance that is so pleasing to the olfactory senses. Lilacs grow in colder climes, meaning they go dormant - retreat, if you will, so that toughened in the rough weather they can blossom ever more magnificently. So also with us. The more trials we face, the more we grow in grace and the more we will be faithful in little things. Today is the feast of St. Paschal Baylon, the holy Franciscan Brother who had such a devotion to the Blessed Sacrament and died in the odor of sanctity. The fragrance of the lilac should remind us of our goal in striving for sanctity through doing the little things God asks and one of those is to pray the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
  Counsel is the Gift of the Holy Ghost highlighted today. It follows Knowledge and Understanding in a natural progression of applying those two attributes to be able to convey common sense in full accord with the divine Will in whatever we do in life while always remembering to take our God-given role of passing on the truths of the Faith to others seriously. We will be held accountable before the eternal Judge for how we conducted our lives and Counsel helps us as a moral compass, so to speak, in navigating through life. It truly is a Gift we should all strive for, especially Traditional Catholics who have such a massive mission to enlighten those plunged in the darkness of the conciliar church and worldly values.Seventh Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost
  Following up part one of this series, John Gregory points out that it is time to further explore the wisdom of the brilliant late esteemed theologian Monsignor Joseph Clifford Fenton as he delineates the definitive definitions of who comprise the Mystical Body of Christ. He provides three such definitions and explains the sources and logic for such, dating back to 1602 in the clarification stemming from the counter-reformation that includes three basic types of definitions of the one and only true Church. Definitive Definitions of the Mystical Body of Christ
Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today, on the Octave Day of the Ascension we honor Mary with the title of Tower of Ivory for she is as pure as the white and a tower of strength for all her children just as she was for the Apostles who didn't understand why her divine Son must leave them for they did not understand His Spirit at the time. They had Mary with them, just as we do today when we pray her Holy Rosary and contemplate on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.
  For the sixteenth day of the month, the flower is the LILY OF THE VALLEY with the corresponding Virtue being PUNCTUALITY. The purity of the Lily of the Valley can be equated with the parable of the Five Virgins who were punctual and had their lamps lit when the Master came; whereas the other five foolish virgins were not punctual and because they were not, missed out on eternal bliss. That is why punctuality in all things is a virtue so that we will always live in the state of sanctifying grace and like the snow-white Lily of the Valley be ready when God decides to take us out of this Valley of Tears.   Understanding is the Gift of the Holy Ghost highlighted today. Just as one would require the Gift of Knowledge as we showed yesterday, so one would want the Gift of Understanding to comprehend how the robber barons have infiltrated and usurped holy Mother Church; how the whore of Babylon tries to take the place of the Mystical Bride. It cannot last for through Understanding we know God will not allow it to continue and we realize that the Church, being the Mystical Bride of Christ, cannot err. Since those who pose as leaders of a church called 'Catholic' have erred and done so grievously and quite possibly intentionally, we know it is not Catholic. Through the Gift of Understanding we know why and we know what is truly Catholic and flee from anything that is not. Through the Gift of Understanding we can comprehend true teaching and alert others to beware of the wolves among the sheep and why the sheep have scattered for the hirelings care not for souls. This has been proven over the past fifty years and counting. The Gift of Understanding will enable us to know how to combat this apostasy in being faithful to Christ and His Church.   Timothy Duff shows that we all need to have a green thumb to cultivate our own spiritual gardens. God provides us all the tools necessary to tend to our soul. He has given us the Truths and Traditions of His Church and the Sacraments, all contained in the Sacred Deposit of Faith. If we are serious about salvation we will realize tending to souls - whether it is our own or others - is a full-time job of pulling out the weeds of vice and cultivating fruitful virtues through Son-light and showers of grace so that we can bear good fruit and be worthy of the Harvester gathering our soul up when the time comes for Him to separate the wheat from the chaff.   For the fifteenth day - the Ides of May - the flower offered to our Blessed Mother is the whispy MIMOSA with the corresponding Virtue being GENEROSITY. God loves a generous heart and one, who loves God and seeks to do His holy Will at all times, cannot help but be generous in all things, illustrated in the stamen of the Mimosa flower, fanning out in ray-like fashion to receive the graces God grants to those who are open to them and practice the cardinal virtues as well as the various virtues illustrated in this, Mary's special month for she is the Queen of the May. It is only natural that everyone would want to be generous to the Queen for that brings great favor from the King, Who is, of course, her divine Son Jesus Christ, to Whom we owe all allegiance, all fidelity, all our love and generosity.   Fortitude is the Gift of the Holy Ghost highlighted today and it is through perseverance that we can realize our heavenly reward, but only in striving to do God's holy will in all things. Fortitude fortifies us not to worry about what will happen to our physical well being or material things and never to put merit into the approval of man but always in the approval of the Holy Trinity for that is all that really counts. All the rest don't amount to a hill of beans. Yet to sustain ourselves we need beans and other nourishment so that we can physically carry out whatever mission God appoints for each person's spiritual welfare. Fortitude enables us to accept our crosses and whatever sufferings God chooses for His children and not to question. That isn't easy. That is why the Gift of Fortitude is so vital.   In establishing just where the true Church exists in these times and by whose authority, Griff Ruby points out that one only needs to go through the process of deduction to realize there is only one answer and that is those who have upheld the faith and continue to administer the true sacraments. Ergo, in narrowing down the choices there is only one that qualifies as the teaching Church (Ecclesia docens) and that would be the Traditional Bishops and Priests who carry out the mission Christ gave to His Apostles.  If those who still question this syllogism are intellectually honest then let them identify by name anyone with a superior claim on our conscience and obedience, or else let them admit they cannot refute or deny this. If, however, they are afraid to admit the truth because it would somehow greatly impugn either their own agenda or comfort zone, then what more could be said? There will always be those who deny the elephant in the room, so to speak, but will cry the loudest when being stomped on by the apostate mastedons. Don't say you were not warned. The only question remaining is why the Traditional Bishops and Priests have not taken the bull elephant by the horns since they are the only ones qualified to corral the beast once and for all by coming together to build up Christ's Church.

  For the fourteenth day of May, the flower offered to our Blessed Mother is the PASSION FLOWER with the corresponding Virtue being SACRIFICE. The greatest Sacrifice was the Passion of our Lord which was the greatest Sacrifice that resulted in the blossoming of souls through salvation for all who followed Christ's teachings/ On this day let us remember also the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - same Sacrifice as that of the cross, for the victim is one and the same, namely, Christ our Lord, Who offered Himself, once only, a bloody Sacrifice on the altar of the cross. The bloody and unbloody victim are not two, but one Victim only, Whose Sacrifice is daily renewed in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass when the bread and wine are confected into the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. This continual Sacrifice is carried on in obedience to the command of our Lord: "Haec quotiescumque feceritis, in Mei memoriam facietis." - As often as ye do these things, ye shall do them in remembrance of Me." There is no bouquet more pleasing to His Blessed Mother than worthily assisting at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass where our souls should open wide like the Passion Flower to embrace our crosses sent so lovingly by the Almighty.    We proudly proclaim May 13 "Patrick Henry Omlor Day" in honoring this late modern day apostle of tradition who blazed the trail for so many of us when even cardinals and bishops did not have a clue. Patrick was a pioneer who saw the devastation and destruction that would result from turning "the most beautiful thing this side of Heaven" - the Canonized Apostolic Latin Mass of All Ages - into a vulgar vernacular service devoid of expiation and propitiation in order to appease Protestants while drawing the wrath of God and the blessed Apostles Peter and Paul. He warned us of the Robber Barons who were inside the gate.  Many dismissed him as an alarmist, but history has proven he was a prophet who chose the narrow path, the lonely but only path to salvation. And many traditional Catholics can thank him for being the scout on that path.  He had a deep devotion for the Blessed Sacrament and deeply loved Our Lady. What a perfect day to honor him than on the traditional observance of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament for he boldly held the compass for all to follow in safely steering through the storms to the safe shore of the Two Pillars. He, along with his wife Mary Victoria of 57 years, perpetuated the Faith in order to populate Heaven with a large Catholic family and left behind a legacy that will live forever in the annals of the traditional resistance against the Great Apostasy. He has fought the good fight, He has accomplished what God willed for him and for the Church. May he be welcomed with open arms into the Father's loving arms and celebrated in the Church Triumphant. Here, among the Church Militant he will be remembered always as a Trailblazer for Truth and Tradition
  Saint Robert Bellarmine, the holy Cardinal and Doctor of the Church is the feast in which Our Lady chose to begin her historic and vital apparitions to three children at the Cova in Portugal. This Italian saint was born on the feast of the founder of the Franciscans, but trained as a Jesuit and came through with flying colors in God's eyes in upholding the ideals of the Society as its founders had established. He was an extremely sharp polemist who was not afraid to take on the most vitrolic Protestant theologians and, because this master apologist never wavered from Catholic truth, he always won out in perpetuating the Counter Reformation of Trent. His fame, humility and sense of the sensus Catholicus won back countless souls who had wavered during the Reformation. But his wisdom was not employed only on the sheep, but the shepherds as well - the chief shepherds - for he was Theologian and Spiritual Counselor to no less than five Popes. He was the noted

Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today, on this observance of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament and 96th Anniversary of the First Apparition at Fatima, we honor Our Lady with this title for it was at Fatima where she encouraged the children to pray daily her Holy Rosary while also we should contemplate on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the prayer imparted by the angel of Fatima with The Fatima Prayers.
  For the thirteenth of May the flower was the LAUREL blossom with the corresponding Virtue being LOVE OF DUTY. What a perfect day for this for it was the love of duty to the Church and Christ's Vicar on earth that prompted St. Robert Bellarmine to become a Jesuit priest and then to utilize all his God-given talents for the greater honor and glory of God and His Holy Church. Likewise, Our Lady appeared near the Cova and a copse of trees where Laurel blossoms might be found and her message was to remind her children of our duty to pray and to obey her Divine Son. She instilled in the Fatima children and from them out to all mankind the importance of the Virtue of Love of Duty. We have a duty to spread and live all Our Lady imparted and which was officially approved as worthy of belief by Holy Mother Church as is the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary

We can begin to work on this cure by praying her Holy Rosary each and every day - especially during her Month of May - and, if your state in life permits, all fifteen decades as a spiritual bouquet that will pay tremendous dividends both spiritually and temporally for those of good will. We also remind you to pray the Regina Coeli during Paschaltide.
  Piety is the Gift of the Holy Ghost highlighted today and it gives one to pause and consider that if more people had piety there would be less wars, less hate, less animosity towards our fellow man and many, many more converts for man would, just through his piety, respect all that God has created. There'd be no need for ecological matters, politicians, even lawyers. Man would be in harmony with the will of God, but then who are we kidding. Few even respect the virtue of piety let alone ask it of the Sanctifier. That is one reason why our world is in such turmoil today because of the chaos in the world for the devil steers man away from humility and consequently away from God. That is why piety is so pertinent in loving God and respecting all He has deigned for the welfare of man's salvation as we see in the Third Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost
 
  In the Haydock Commentary provided by John Gregory for the Sunday after the Ascension, what is pointed out is that in all things Christ must be honored and defended even if it means being persecuted for believing in Him. Our Lord conveys these final words to His disciples, foretelling of a time when the Jews and unbelievers would greatly harass and even kill them. Every apostle except for St. John suffered martyrdom. When Jesus speaks of His followers "being put out of the synagogues" what do you think they'd have to say about Mr. Bergolio the unFrancis' schmoozing and giving credence to Caiaphas and all the faithless Jews since who persist in their error? What does he do just as his predecessors did but not only participate, thus publicly giving scandal through his persistent heresy, but proclaims that the Jews do not need to be converted. But then what's new? Proselytizing has gone the way of the dodo bird in the CONciLIAR church. In fact, these apostate 'popes' have done it so much that few recognize the apostasy in their midst. We need only read what our Lord says about it in today's Gospel. Yes, Lord, we remember that You did tell us this too would come. Perhaps we never realized how bad it would be with so many duped into actually believing these men posing as 'popes' could ever represent You. St. Paul says today "in all things God may be honored through Jesus Christ", not man. "They have not known the Father, nor Me"
