Getitpurged Address

Twoscore and eleven years ago, the Council Fathers brought forth in our Church a new religion, conceived in Modernism, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are saved regardless of what faith they profess. Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that sect or any sect so conceived by man and so constructed, can long endure. We are met on a great battlefield of that war. We have come to commiserate a portion of that era as a final resting place for those who lost their souls that they might be delivered from Purgatory so that they may live eternally if were they so blessed to evade hell. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should pray for them.

But in a larger sense, we cannot dedicate - we cannot consecrate - we cannot hallow - this conciliar church of Vatican Two for there are few, if any left who can confect the sacrament. Note that the brave faithful, living and dead, who struggled with their sensus Catholicus, have consecrated their lives for truth, far above our poor power to add or detract for only God knows the heart of man. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it will rue what they did to our beloved Church.

It is for us the living, the traditional Catholic crusaders, rather, to be dedicated to the unfinished work of saving souls which they who resisted the Great Apostasy, have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us - that from these dry martyrs we take increased devotion to that cause of restoring the truths and traditions of holy Mother Church - that we here highly resolve that these dry martyrs living and dead have not done so in vain - that our true Church, under God, shall have a new freedom of grace - and that God's one true Church of the people and for the people shall not perish from the earth because we have Christ's word that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Therefore, we must work to purge the new church formed at Vatican Two twoscore and eleven years ago.

With apologies to Abraham Lincoln's "Gettysburg Address"

My dear friends,

My dear husband Michael felt the above identification "Cyndi's Colloquium" would be an extension of the periodic "University of Virtue" series as a more direct discussion with my readers, hence "colloquium." That explained, please allow me to explain also that it has been quite a while since I've written, but my health has not been exactly "good". Yet I have placed all my trust in the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and His most Blessed and Immaculate Mother Mary and even though my doctors will never comprehend it, when I am able to receive the Sacrament of Penance and then receive the Most Blessed Sacrament, it sustains me through the aches and pains, the difficulties with my blood pressure (it has always been low, so now when I change positions - go from a sitting to a standing position - it can, but not always, fall 30 points top and bottom, and I end up on the floor. Yes, I can pick myself up or Mike is there to help me. But I ignore all the bruises, and go forward.

Mike and I want to thank all of you - those who prayed for us, and those who were able to contribute to the continuation of the DailyCatholic. We were so happy to see that a few more, who had not contributed before, did so. Thanks to all for their donation in this time of great economic crisis. Be it large or a widow's mite, it matters to God. And we remember each of you by name at Holy Mass, and of course in all of the daily prayers and sacrifices and penances we make.

I know that these are most trying times. There is something that I wish to point out, so that you might realize the utter imperative importance of the DailyCatholic's mission to spread the True Faith to every corner of the world.

A friend of mine loaned me a magnificent book (it's a truly long book—750 pages in softback) about the men Abraham Lincoln chose as members of his cabinet when he was elected President. But it is so much more - it is a three dimensional look not only at Lincoln and his cabinet, but so many others, as well as the nation as a whole. It was utterly compelling. If you enjoy reading, then you will understand that such a well-written book can draw you into it, and place you there, back in the 1800's. The most significant parts that I wish to write about occur from 1850 through the 1860's until Lincoln's assassination and it ties in with the words above of the "Get-it-purged Address" with liberties taken of the "Gettysburg Address".

This nation does not have anyone who possesses the brilliance, the mind of Abraham Lincoln. That is a shame - we desperately need one like Lincoln right now. Why? Because we have lost the moral high road, we have lost the virtue of caring whether our Republic is progressing as the Founding Fathers intended, or if we have skidded off the rails of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and The Bill of Rights. Why? Because most have lost their faith.

If any of you have read this best-selling book, then try with me to lift those times off those pages and lay them upon the nation we have now. What is the difference? Well, it's not that we did not have all the states back then. What matters is this: There was hate back then...deep hate that ran through the hearts of all Americans, whether North or South, Free or Slave, a pioneer in one of the yet unnamed states, or through our leaders both in the states and in Washington.

Abraham Lincoln knew from an early age that slavery was an evil that would one day either destroy this Republic, or split it into two. When he was elected President, the last thing he wanted was a civil war. He wanted, more than anything, to make slavery forever ended. But he couldn't do that immediately.

Lincoln knew he had to pick his moment when the majority of Americans realized the necessity of ridding this nation of slavery. Yet, the civil war halted this hallowed decision.

Civil War broke out. Yes, it was about the necessity of cotton grown in the south that not only the north used to make innumerable products, but Europe needed the cotton as well. Hatred erupted in hearts and minds everywhere. But Lincoln rose above the hatred and kept his eye on the much larger picture: Preserving the Union. That, he knew had to come first before he could make slavery a thing of the past.

Today we have such hatred in this nation. And I continually ask myself why? We have proven, since Lincoln's time, that we had reached that high moral road. We believed that all men are created equal. We did not, in our moral high road, define "equal" as to intellect or any other aspect of a human being. Lincoln knew that it would take years before this defining of "equal" would mean precisely what this nation achieved: the right to work, to obtain life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

It has been a long time since I have seen happiness in this country, and I think you will agree with me on this point. And again I ask why? I answer: Because this nation has abandoned God, shoved Him out of the very universe He created, and relegated Him to the trash heap of history. In His place, we have allowed tolerance of every evil to excel, while morality and virtue are in the same trash heap as Almighty God.

We no longer possess the intellectual ability of those people who fought and died in the Civil War, and those who, during that devastating war, worked to bring the Union together in peace, and to liberate countless Negros who were slaves. In Lincoln's time, the people were informed of the situations facing the nation, not so much by a media driven campaign to support either North or South, Free or Slave, but by common sense, their inherent religious values (albeit these values were predominantly protestant, not Catholic), and good will toward their neighbor. Yes, they did. They truly labored to have this good will, lest the Union, this Republic disappear into the trash heap of other countries' governments that had been extinguished for various reasons.

We are now engaged in another greater Civil War. This War is between good and evil, but the majority of Americans do not grasp this, do not want to grasp it, and prefer to go about their daily lives as if this nation runs itself, and those we elect in Washington are mere figureheads. If only that were true.

On the contrary, we are more divided today than the nation was during Lincoln's Presidency. We have become not just lazy, but slothful, and we care not for intellectual wisdom, as long as we are able to pay the bills and raise our children. That, my dear friends, is not enough by far for this Republic.

How many of you cry out to God to sweep every false faith from this earth, while saving those enslaved in them that they might yet learn the truth of Christ's Gospel, learn the True Faith that they might be saved. In our nation alone, think of how many are trapped in the Great Apostasy, and care not that they are. Think of how many babies are aborted every day, and no one cries out about their murder.

Oh, have they cried out about the verdict in the Zimmerman/Martin trial that supposedly ended recently. Personally, I reject each and every cable news station that carried that trial 24/7, the media driven by the political aspect and the race aspect, which our own president desired and started when he commented on the incident. I am no lawyer, but from the little I do know, this case should never have come to trial. Once again, the Prosecution over-reached in attempting to convict Zimmerman of 2nd degree Murder. They would have been far better to have not charged the man with anything. Yet, of all the hideous murders that happen each day in our country, some so demonic that the facts would sicken each of us, this incident took center stage because of our President and the media who can only praise this man in the White House, but never connect the dots that our decline into socialism and Islam can be laid at his feet. Only his.

Unlike Lincoln, Obama wants this civil war. He praises evil, decries good. He is not Christian. He is thoroughly un-American, and the media has painted itself into a corner if, and when, we as a Nation demand that our politicians act in the best interest of the Republic that we are supposed to be, and not act like transfixed third-graders when in Obama's presence.

What does all of this have to do with us, the few to whom God has given the grace to possess the One True Faith. Well, for starters, because we do possess it, we are to make it known, we are to evangelize to every person who is of another false belief, including Islam. Do we do that? No. Why? I'm still trying to figure out that answer. If you know why, please let me know.

I do know from reading Dr. Thomas Droleskey's article Francis The Apostate: From Revolution To Anarchy that the man, who would be "pope" Jorge Mario Bergoglio, said at the hideous, hedonistic World Youthansia Conference in Rio de Janiero, so many things that cried to Heaven for correction. In fact he actually called on the youth to actually stir up "disorder and to create a mess." Here I thought they already had a "Mess" in the Novus Ordo. Seriously, this man is truly dangerous just as was predicted, very similar to the account of the Macchabees where the first "abomination of desolation" took place; the second being the Novus Ordo.

Anyway, Bergoglio's words are a challenge, if you will permit me this liberty, that I would like to analyze here, something he announced on Friday, July 26. That was, of course, the joyful feast of St. Anne, the Mother of the Mother of God and speaking of mothers, the same day, I might add, that another joyful event occurred when the youngest daughter of our dear friends brought forth into this world a delightful baby girl named Erin Collette Sullivan. We are so happy for little Erin's parents Tracey and Dennis Sullivan and pray many more Traditional Catholic babies will be born so that we can be assured the true Faith will be perpetuated for it is the youth who will carry on the cause to restore holy Mother Church. But before that can happen we must deal with the reality of an Argentinian layman who is more adjutator than cleric. Here is what he had to say:

"Look, at this moment, I think our world civilization has gone beyond its limits, it has gone beyond its limits because it has made money into such a god that we are now faced with a philosophy and a practice which exclude the two ends of life that are most full of promise for peoples. They exclude the elderly, obviously. You could easily think there is a kind of hidden euthanasia, that is, we don't take care of the elderly; but there is also a cultural euthanasia, because we don't allow them to speak, we don't allow them to act. And there is the exclusion of the young. The percentage of our young people without work, without employment, is very high and we have a generation with no experience of the dignity gained through work. This civilization, in other words, has led us to exclude the two peaks that make up our future. As for the young, they must emerge, they must assert themselves, the young must go out to fight for values, to fight for these values; and the elderly must open their mouths, the elderly must open their mouths and teach us! Pass on to us the wisdom of the peoples!"

As Tom wisely pointed out, "Fight for values? What values?" Surely not the ones exhibited in Rio. seeing through the facade of external feelings you can be assured those sense will get you just so far and protestantism is built on the sands of emotions; true Catholicism is built on the foundation of faith. Yet Bergoglio, or as my husband Michael calls him "the unFrancis", is trying to construct a revolution to deconstruct the Church or is that destroy the Church. One follows the other. His Marxist background and false humility spawned by his involvement in heretical liberation theology makes him almost a clone of one Barak Hussein Obama. Though one "claims" to be "humble"; the other "proud" seems too mild for such a narcissist. I get the sense that when these two finally meet face to face the one who bows first will be bowing to the antichrist! As Mike says, stay tuned.

One thing that struck me in Bergoglio's revolutionary words and that is about the elderly. Yes, the wisdom of the elders should not go to waste. Think of all we received from our elders - those of the greatest generation who knew what work ethic and moral ethics were all about, who made binding contracts with a handshake because their word was golden, who guarded their children as best they could from the wiles of the world, the flesh and the devil because they had the backing of the Church. Then in the sixties this all changed. Masked by the secular sex revolution little saw through the surface to the source of this chaotic upheaval of morals and values. It all was enabled by the caving of those at the Second Vatican Council who valued their coffee klatches and hobnobbing to true values passed down by the Magisterium or, as Monsignor Joseph Clifford Fenton correctly labeled it magisterium ordinarium et universale. From 1964 on it all unraveled, though it had been festering for over a century. Infiltration was necessary and was pulled off without a hitch thanks to an overconfident clergy who did not pay enough heed to Pope Leo XIII, Pope St. Pius X, Pope Benedict XV, Pope Pius XI and Pope Pius XII's warnings.

And so, we the remnant, we the few, are left to pick up the pieces, to begin to rebuild Christ's Church brick by brick. Before the oldest generation dies off they have a duty to speak out, but not the social justice propaganda Bergoglio and his comrades are spewing, but rather the truth - the wisdom passed down and lived through the true Faith sustained by the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Traditional Latin Mass with true priests, the few that there are.

So how do we do this? It's the same question the Apostles asked and many saints after. Oh, we of little faith. All God asks is that we try. He'll do the rest. Has He not proven this over the history of the Church? Jesus said that if we had the faith of a mustard seed we could move mountains, and yet we have a hard time just applying mustard on a hot dog. That's how lazy we've become. It's time to harden up, to be ready to be martyrs if needs be, but not to solicit it, rather to solicit souls to seek salvation which can only be achieved inside the true Church as the dogma Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus proclaims. John Gregory has been running a very good series on this.

Therefore, my dear friends, we, Traditional Catholics who have been given the grace to know and live our faith, are expected to be as the first missionaries to this nation once again and then out to other nations so that we can fulfill Our Lord's charge to take the gospel (the true Gospel) to the ends of the earth. Just as the early missionaries from Europe stood tall, so must we. They were respected, they were fearless in the face of the daunting challenge to bring Catholicism to America. In the 1850's, more than three million German and Irish immigrants came here. They were all Catholic, and the Protestants here were in great fear of them. But they came, legally, going through Ellis Island, and working to make a living, while studying to become citizens. Each one of us has an ancestor that came here as an immigrant, and we should also take caution and be concerned of how our politicians treat illegal immigrants now.

There is so much work to do. We must start over, as if those first missionaries never arrived on these shores. We have to trust that God will help us. We cannot, we must not, wait for God to work a miracle, which He just might have to do, and let the evil that permeates every segment of our society grow stronger with each passing day. Yes, we must pray, sacrifice, and give alms to those who God has chosen to spread His Gospel to the ends of the earth.

If you were able to rise above the multitude of distractions that permeate your life, rise up and see with the vision of Almighty God how satan has taken over the world, perhaps then you would see the utter necessity of giving alms to those who work 365 days a year, 12 to 18 hours a day, to be missionaries to the world.

Bergoglio poses that he is all for the poor. I know of one family who is truly poor right not after losing their home, their belongings, their traditional Catholic ministry and van to a terrible fire last week. I'm speaking of Mark and Rita Davidson who, through the grace of God and some quick-thinking guardian angels, managed to get themselves and four sons August, Joseph, Andrew and Liam out in time. They had no insurance and have trusted totally on the providence of God, but that includes man's cooperation. Do you think Bergoglio or any of his "bishops" would lift a finger to help a traditional Catholic family in trouble? Highly doubtful. If they were Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, what not, oh he'd be calling for a campaign to help, but we are the enemy to the Modernists in the conciliar church and that should tell you everything. Those who strive to upheld all the Church has taught for 2000 years is the enemy? Jesus said "He who is not with Me is against Me." Yes, that should tell you just where you stand if you are not a traditional Catholic. Those who are, we ask that you further the providence of God by giving of your own treasures to help this beleaguered family. You can see their plight and how you can help at The Davidson Family Trust

Closer to home, while our needs pale in comparison to the Davidsons, we still need to implore your help. We have made it this far through the summer — barely, thanks to those who so generously gave, and to all who prayed for us. But as we head toward August and September, the cupboard is again bare in order to pay our just debts and medical bills and keep the DailyCatholic on line. Michael won't tell you, but he has slowed down considerably and putting out a daily at his age (70, which he also probably won't tell you) is taking its toll because of his failing eyesight and sciatica that prevents him from staying too long on the computer. Yes, dear friends, age creeps up on all of us and it's grabbing us right now as my own health continues to deteriorate. We offer it all up in reparation and willingly accept whatever crosses God so chooses to grace us with. All we ask is that if you can see it in your heart to help us continue this traditional Catholic apostolate, please send what you can. Below is the link and/or address where you can contribute a tax-exempt donation, or if you prefer mail, SANCTUS/DailyCatholic, 2750 Wheatstone #111, San Diego, CA 92111.

Bergoglio tried to stir up the youth to rebel, to agitate and create anarchy. Don't you just know the schoools are indoctrination camps for socialism whether they be public schools or conciliar schools when they resume next month. Other than homeschooling and a handful of traditional Catholic grade schools and a few high schools, there is a vast wasteland of true education for nearly all of them on every level are nothing more than concentration camps where all evil is elevated, and morality and virtue, religion as a whole, is taught as evil which must be eliminated from our nation.

Will we allow this to take place? We have a duty to ourselves, our family, especially our children, to stand up and make a difference. We need to be Abraham Lincoln now. We must pass the 13th Amendment again, only this time we must add that morality, virtue, religion, God, are the very stones on which this nation was built. Without these stones, our nation will surely dissolve and become part of the One World Order. Besides becoming honest Abes, we need to become more like the saints who cared little for secular matters and focused their attention on heavenly things. We show our true colors by how we pray for that is how we believe, how we live. It's living the axiom lex orandi, lex credendi. Do you believe? Then show it!

If your position in life does not permit you to become a missionary, as those few of us who have undertaken this imperative drive to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth, then reflect for a moment if you can provide us with a donation that will keep us online and away from any NSA interference, or from Obama's executive orders which give him full control of all technology, which he can shut off at his whim.

Personally, I will die before I give in to such an evil man who spews hatred from his high position. I would rather die than say, for even a moment, that evil is now good, and good is now evil. With God's grace, NEVER! So too must you say the same, not offer one ounce of incense to the false gods, which Bergoglio and those who preceded him thought nothing of selling out to man with little thought of how gravely they offended God and their duties before Him. If they had all been faithful to their vows, the Oath Against Modernism and upheld all the truths and traditions passed down, there would have been no need for apostolates like ours. But alas, they did not and therefore we, the laity, must carry on.

But we cannot do this without your continued support. Let us all place our daily cares, responsibilities, and distractions aside and concentrate on God and His One True Church to which we have been called by His grace, not by our goodness. Because we all have been called, He expects much from us. Are we giving His True Church our all? Are we assisting those who've given up their livelihood in order to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth? Are we helping our few loyal dedicated traditional priests? Or are we being measley with our bushel baskets?

We desperately need your help. Without you, we shall not be able to continue, we shall not be able to fulfill that call which the hearts of our souls received over two decades ago. We have all paid a heavy price to have been called to the One True Faith. Yet, we know in our souls that every price we have paid is nothing compared to what Christ paid that we might be saved, that we might, through His Mercy, be with Him forever in Heaven.

If we do not continue to be missionaries either directly, or by aiding those who have been called to this apostolate, then we can rest assured that satan will win this battle, and countless, billions of souls will not be saved, and will be in hell for all eternity. God does not want that, and we shouldn't want that either.

That is why (I know it sounds like a broken record, but it is a necessity) that I ask your indulgence. Please give generously, so that we may upgrade our equipment, upgrade software programs, and keep the DailyCatholic online not only for the remainder of this year, but until God calls Mike and I home, until that glorious moment comes when He is triumphant and His One True Church will rise up and be more glorious than it has ever been. In the end, Our Lady's Immaculate Heart will triumph. We are doing whatever we can to help pave the way for that glorious time. Each moment we work is a new golden stone in a path that leads from this world to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heat of Mary. Every prayer said, every dollar donated extends this golden path, cemented firmly in place as an expanding permanent part of the foundation of the true Faith as Jesus asks.

Will we walk upon this golden path, or shall we let it dissolve as evil smirks and laughs at our stupidity, as satan readies his banquet for those who have been lost to the Truth. Oh, let us work hard, donate much, so that satan's banquet table is bare, and those who come to sit down, are very few in number.

Let us do away with evil, with racism, with every incident that does not qualify to take a portion of our attention, time, and intellect. Let us concentrate all of our resources upon the Truth, upon the One True Faith, and may the Good Lord bless this golden path we are building, and bring about this longed-for glorious time much more quickly than we can imagine.

God bless and keep you ever protected beneath Our Lady's mantle, safe in the bosom of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
