Queen of Heaven, rejoice, Alleluia.Let us pray.
O God, Who through the resurrection of Thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, hast vouchsafed to make glad the whole world, grant us, we beseech Thee, that, through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, His Mother, we may attain the joys of eternal life. Through the same Christ our Lord.

Hath risen as He said. Alleluia.
Pray for us to our God. Alleluia.
V. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary. Alleluia.
R. For the Lord hath risen indeed.
On the very last day of May we offer Our Lady both the ANEMONE
flower which represents the beautiful virtue of UNION WITH JESUS
and the full bouquet from the full month. The Anemone is a woodplant whose beautiful flower is renowned. Also well known is the fact Our Lady constantly encourages us to come to her Divine Son and be united with Him through her. That is because He loves His Mother and His children so and is so pleased when we honor her as He honored her during His life on earth and after in Heaven where He, along with the Father and Holy Ghost crowned Mary as Queen of Heaven and earth. That is why today is so special for we take the entire bouquet offered throughout the month and offer them all to our Blessed Heavenly Queen with a bonanza of bouquets of flowers and the corresponding virtues that we have pledged to Our Lady to practice. Above and in this installment we provide a special graphic where Our Lady is surrounded by these beautiful flowers. You can go to HOLY CARD
to print it out and clip it out as a holy card for your missal to remind you of these virtues.
On the thirtieth day of May the flower presented to Our Lady is the beautiful CAMELLIA
with the corresponding Virtue being PERSEVERANCE
. This magnificent flower, which is a greenhouse shrub, is relatively a new find from the tea plant. In fact, its Latin name was derived after the one who discovered it and who practiced perseverance: the Jesuit missionary Father Georg Josef Kamel, a missionary priest in Moravia. Perseverance also applies to the fact that there is but one more day left in this Month of May to honor Christ by showering His Blessed Mother with bouquets of flowers and virtues and by praying her Rosary and the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
For years we have strived to make this day special in traditional circles for there really isn't a special day to honor our fallen heroes in the traditional movement. We are not talking only of the bishops and priests who forged the Faith in the face of fierce opposition from the conciliar cabal, but also of the laity; those who sacrificed so much to pass down the true faith at the expense of being ostracized by friends, neighbors, even within their own family. But they knew that their soul and the souls of their children are more important than pleasing man and thus they were willing to travel the difficult narrow path, a lonely one but the only one that leads to eternal life.
Thus on this day we give thanks and petition Heaven for protection from natural disasters for which this devotion of Rogation Days was established. Quite possibly no time in recent memory has this hit closer to home than this past week when terrible tornadoes terrified citizens throughout the heartland from Texas to Pennsylvania with over 500 losing their lives. It is a reminder as we posted in this past Thursday
issue that we never know when our time is up. That is why we've been privileged to have these Rogation Days to offer supplication and ask God to avert His anger, especially in light of how many have turned from Him. On this day, let us remember that, give thanks and supplication, and reflect on the supernatural resources God has given us in His truths and traditions of His true Church and His disciples who refuse to compromise with the counterfeit church of conciliarism. We invite you to pray the Litany of the Saints during these three Rogation Days which are celebrated in the liturgy just prior to the Solemnity of the Ascension. Lesser Litanies for Rogation Days
In the Haydock Commentary for the Fifth Sunday after Easter from Father George Leo Haydock found in many Douay-Rheims version of the New Testament and provided here by John Gregory, we see in the Epistle by St. James only the penitent man who heeds God's law and will shall not fear. For God knows a man's heart. One can never hide from God and it's important to realize that as great as the Corporal Works of Mercy might be, they are hollow if the Spiritual Works of Mercy are not applied. To work out one's salvation in fear and trembling, one cannot be passive, but rather active for the good of souls as God so wills and in the Gospel our Lord reaffirms His divinity in His discourse with His apostles in reminding them that He must return to the Father Who sent Him. But He encourages them that they shall know great joy and anything they ask of the Father in Christ's name, it will be granted. Quite a promise that has been fulfilled ever since to all who comply with all He asks. Through Christ our Lord
On the twenty-ninth day of May the flower presented to Our Lady is the ASTER
with the corresponding Virtue being GOODNESS
. The Aster is named for the Greek aster
which means star and the blooming herbs of the Aster with the showy daisy-like flowers blooms in the Fall, shining amongst the changing foliage which is losing its leaves. Appropriately Goodness shines through when others lose their luster. Goodness is what the Blessed Mother cherishes so much in her Divine Son's children for Goodness is the foundation of a sincere heart and a pure soul. There are but two days left this month to pray the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
In the seventh chapter of Book Three, the Blessed Mother speaks again to her daughter in which she follows up the magnificent words of the Bishop Ambrose - yes, quite possibly the holy Doctor of the Church - and compares him as the good bishop to the bad bishop as the Virgin imparts to St. Bridget of Sweden in comparing a world-loving bishop to a bellows full of air -- like a tornado that destroys like it did to many this week -- or to a snail lying in filth. Our Lady also speaks about the sentence dealt out to such a bishop who is the very opposite of Bishop Ambrose, a saintly man who nourished back to life souls who had been deprived of the waters of truth and temperance. These lessons are invaluable in knowing our own hearts and judging the actions and words of those who have donned the purple garments of the episcopacy. Book Three, Chapter Seven : The breeze of the Spirit clashes with hot air
On the twenty-eighth day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the HONEYSUCKLE
with the corresponding Virtue of CONFIDENCE IN GOD
. The honeysuckle, a member of the columbine family is a sweet plant of long spurred flowers that resemble almost a trumpet like shape, trumpeting the Confidence in God. From the amazing floral display thus far in May, we can see the beauty He has created and this should spur on confidence in Him alone. Nothing, however is more beautiful to His beautiful Blessed Mother than a pure soul arrayed in grace. With only a few days left in Mary's month of May, let us not neglect the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
While the first step to sainthood is making one "venerable" the title of Saint Bede the Venerable means so much more for he was the illustrious ornament of the Anglo-Saxon Church and its very first historian. Considered the Father of English History, he was the first to date events as in the "Year of Our Lord" - Anno Domini (A.D.) and would be appalled today to hear that the Modernist secularists want to make it A.C.E. (After the Common Era)in doing away with any reference to Christ whatsoever, all part of the anti-Catholic agenda to de-Christianize America thoroughly. That is the Masonic creed which Bede would never have stood for. St. Bede was officially named a Doctor of the Church by Pope Leo XIII. Considered a Father of the Church, he was the Benedictines' jewel and is often called
The Holy Historian
On the twenty-seventh day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the VERBENA
with the corresponding Virtue of PRUDENCE
. Bouquets of peachy-pink verbena, often grown in tropical and sub-tropical areas, are often mixed with the sacred boughs of laurel, olive or myrtle plants which are prized and intended to be cultivated just as the soul strives to manage itself by upholding all moral propriety and modesty, presenting itself before God as a victor over sin. How appropriate that it falls on the feast of St. Bede the Venerable for the holy monk was most prudent in documenting the history of the Church in England and establishing Christ in the annals of history with Anno Domini
. With only a few days left in Mary's month of May, let us not neglect the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
John Gregory provides a comparison on the authentic divinely-ordained Sacrament Extreme Unction and the new rite that has stripped souls of the saving grace so necessary as death nears. This is written with the hope that Catholics caught in the vice of the conciliar structure and who are compelled to follow the man-made rites that may be called sacraments but are not, will not get squeezed when the time comes and God says your time on this earth is about to end. How sad, no make that how tragic it is that countless Catholics are being deprived of the true Sacrament of the Last Rites by buying into the 'sacrament of the sick cures all' when in truth, it cures very little and, like untested drugs today, there can be many side effects that make it much more dangerous to take the drug than not. So also with the 'sacrament' of the sick. Just as they have warning labels on prescriptions and cigarette packs, so also they should have warning labels plastered on the doors of every Novus Ordo
lodge (church) saying: Enter at your own risk. The Last Rites Compared
Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey files a sobering article on what all of us should be focused on - especially in these uncertain times - the Four Last Things. While many have rightly dismissed the kook Harold Camping on tempting God by daring to predict what he thought God would do while he entirely ignored the Word of God in St. Matthew 24, they should not dismiss the actuality and eventuality - that is certain - that everyone is going to die. When? That is up to God alone. But that does not mean we should put it off for while so many talk the talk, we wonder how many are willing to walk the walk along the narrow path that alone leads to eternal life. Sadly, very few and that is the great tragedy that Tom speaks of for most of civilization is ill-prepared when that time comes. We can't say we haven't been warned by divine Revelation and Tradition of Christ's holy Church. But then the modern counterfeit church of conciliarism is doing all it can to dull our perspective on what Providence has predicted. Tom shares the truth that if we're prepared, we shouldn't even consider when the End Days will be, just that it will be and could be any day, any moment as he advises in his essay, Today This Day Could Be Doomsday For Your or For Me
On this feast of St. Philip Neri, the holy confessor and mystic who preached on the Four Last Things - Death, Judgment, Heaven and Hell, and who is said to have raised souls from the dead, we thought it would be the ideal day to bring you John's article above and Tom's, as well as bring you a repeat of this step in our Catholicism Made Simple series in light of the tragic deaths and all the horror in the heartland from the terrible tornadoes and floods. Because being prepared is so important in respect to the Four Last Things and dealing head on with the subject of death, we repeat this specific step for the greatest consolation of grace a Catholic can receive is the Last Sacrament, the Sacrament of Extreme Unction which has been so twisted by the modern conciliar church that it barely resembles, if at all, the true purpose and immense benefits that are accrued by receiving this Last Sacrament before meeting our Maker at our Particular Judgment. As St. Paul said, "Death, where is thy sting?" and indeed, when one is back in the state of Sanctifying Grace and ready to die the fear of death melts away. There is so much consolation in that and yet, the conciliar newchurch has seen fit to eliminate this with a hybrid version called 'sacrament' of the Sick which is stripped of so much, including being a valid sacrament. When it's a question of dying, one wants to be sure they're receiving the real thing because one's eternal life is at stake. Death and the Last Sacrament of Extreme Unction
On the twenty-sixth day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the PRIMROSE
with the corresponding Virtue being LOVE OF LABOR
. Interesting that the primrose would represent the love of work for it is the primrose path which represents sensual pleasure and is most often associated with the path to perdition. Conversely it is the narrow and straight path to Heaven which fosters a love of labor out of a sincere love for God and total humility. Perhaps the primrose, not actually a rose, is presented for it typifies the plentitude of multicolor flowers that are produced through tender loving care by the love of labor for it takes time and work to cultivate a garden of primroses. So also it takes time and work to cultivate virtue but the result is more colorful and splendid to the soul and to Our Lord and Our Lady than any flower, no matter how beautiful the primrose bouquets can be, made all the more beautiful with the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
In Griff Ruby's eighth seven to eight-minute vignette out of a sixteen-part YouTube Series "Sedevacantism - A Catholic Perspective", he explains how many sadly drifted away from the Church to follow the fallen Vatican organization into its heresies. This is not something new but occurred out of an unfortunate mental habit demonstrated before in history when British royalty usurped the Pope's authority and created the schismatic Anglican communion. Nearly all of the general run of people went along with the false new church becaues it had all the same parish churches and cathedrals and priests and bishops. All the characteristics but not the sacramental charisms. So perhaps some so misled may well still be "Catholic-at-heart" (God must judge) but they, like the Novus Ordo followers today, are outside the visible unity of the Church. In part eight, Griff asks us to examine where each of us stand. Are we surrendering to the majority and falling in with our white flags flying, or are we digging in for Christ and His true Church and, like those in the past who would not compromise with impostors and apostates, Surviving in the trenches
On the twenty-fifth day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the DAFFODIL
with the corresponding Virtue being DEVOTION TO MARY
. The lovely yellow or white daffodil signals the fullness of Spring just as Our Lady's fulfillment of God's holy Will signaled the fullness of redemption through her Divine Son. Because She is the Living Tabernacle for the Son of God, it is only natural that we show her the very same respect Christ did and shower her with prayers of intercession and with spiritual daffodils in thanksgiving for what was the true "New Springtime" the Passion, Death and Resurrection of the One Who conquered sin and death for us. One way to honor her, beside her holy Rosary, is the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Today is the traditional feast of Mary, Help of Christians. The invocation Auxilium Christianorum
(Help of Christians) originated in the sixteenth century and was added to the Litany of Loreto by His Holiness Pope St. Pius V following the victorious Battle of Lepanto. This feast was instituted for May 24 by His Holiness Pope Pius VII. Though not a feast on the universal calendar it is celebrated at various places throughout the world where, for instance Mary, Help of Christians is the patronal feast of Australia and a double of the first class with an octave leading to the Queenship of Mary is celebrated with great splendor. This feast has also attained special celebrity since St. Don Bosco, founder of the Salesian Congregation, dedicated to Our Lady, Help of Christians, the mother church of his congregation at Turin. The Salesian Fathers have carried the devotion to their numerous establishments. In America it remains a traditional feast and the proper of the Mass is the Feria for the Fourth Sunday after Easter
On the twenty-fourth day of May the flower is the RED POPPY
with the corresponding Virtue being FERVOR
. The hairy-herbed red poppy, though coveted for its opium by those who reject its beauty and look to use it for the means of mammon, emits a milky juice that has been used for authentic medicinal purposes to heal the body. But it is the fervor of its elixir spiritually that drives the virtue of fervor to heal the soul and therein lies the true beauty of the Red Poppy offered to Our Lady in Mary's May. Only a week left to offer her a bouquet with the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
A Bishop Ambrose - whether he is the holy Doctor of the Church St. Ambrose - we do not know, but he has been granted by Heaven to communicate with St. Bridget and, to help her - and those of us who read here - to understand better he offers an allegory about a man, his wife and his housemaid, about how this adulterer symbolizes a wicked bishop while his wife symbolizes the Church and his housemaid the love of this world, and Bridget learns of the harsh sentence on those more attached to the world than to the Church. It is a lesson we can all meditate on and see how the conciliar church and those who call themselves 'bishops', yay, even 'popes' are so definitely the adulterer who love the housemaid more than Christ's Mystical Bride. This then is the message imparted to St. Bridget in her Prophesies and Revelations which we are privileged to bring our readers as inspiration and a wonderful examination of conscience for all of us as you'll see in Book Three, Chapter Six: Cheating the Church
On the twenty-third day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the BLUEBELL
with the corresponding Virtue being DESIRE FOR HEAVEN
. The delicate bell-shaped flower which grows on many continents and belongs both to the hyacinth and columbine genus, is symbolic of the church bells that clarion souls to come to Holy Mass or to pray the Angelus, or during Paschaltide the Regina Coeli
. The reason for prayer is not for socializing, but for turning our attention to God and the purpose of desiring things not of this earth, but of Heaven. The Bluebell's delicate shell chimes quietly in a whispy wind reminding us of God's call to focus on our end goal - our Desire for Heaven, possible only through adherence to all Christ has taught and established in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church He founded. It is a magnificent flower to offer to Mary whose entire life was focused on a Desire for Heaven and bringing God's children to that same goal. What a wonderful flower to offer her during her month of May with the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
John Gregory provides the commentary for the Fourth Sunday after Easter from Father George Leo Haydock found in many Douay-Rheims version of the New Testament. How ironic when false prophets and antipopes are trying to justify the Jews in their sin, that we have this wonderful Gospel of St. John the Evangelist on the truth. Our Lord foretold many times that the Jews would be a stubborn lot and indeed that has proven true for still today they brag about rejecting Him and expect faithful Catholics to tow their line rather than God's. More proof they answer to the prince of the world and not to the Son of God Who alone provides eternal happiness, re-emphasized so many times, especially in today's Gospel where Jesus promises He will always be with His children for He will not leave His apostles shorthanded. No, as promised, He will send His Spirit, the Holy Ghost which proves the Filioque
of the Creed as we see in today's commentary for the Fourth Sunday after Easter, often referred to as Cantate Sunday for the Introit to "Sing to the Lord..." Promise of the Paraclete
On the twenty-second day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May was the yellow BUTTERCUP
with the corresponding Virtue being OBEDIENCE
. We must always have obedience to God and we owe allegiance to man only when man's directive is in full harmony with the ordaining will of God. The Buttercup, with its five petals and small, humble appearance is a most fitting reminder of obedience for the 15 Mysteries of the Rosary are divided into three sets of five and begin with the Annunciation, which epitomizes obedience for Our Lady's fiat paved the way for the ultimate obedience to the Father with her Divine Son's Passion, Death and Resurrection so that salvation could be attained through the merits of Jesus Christ. What a wonderful flower to offer to the Blessed Mother in her month of May. Remember Our Lady this month with the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Following up our State of the Soul Address in February, we have no choice but to ramp up the rhetoric again especially when today May 21 has been ballyhooed to death - pun intended - as Judgment Day and this is it, folks, no more tomorrow. How many false prophets have come and gone and still people are duped into believing He is there, or He is there in the field, or there in the desert or...well, just read what Our Lord says in St. Matthew 24 and you'll know no one knows the hour but the Father. One reason so many believe the false prophets today is because our own shepherds have not educated the faithful enough to realize Christ's meaning. The gist of this commentary is to light a fire under our bishops, pastors and priests to realize their sheep are wandering in a world gone mad and wondering when our traditional orators are going to orate, truly orate in feeding their flocks the substance of sustenance in returning sanity and sanctity. Enough with just defending our position. It's time for action. Only by our bishops, pastors and priests going on the offense and speaking out firmly can the ship be righted where up is up again and down is down where satan needs to go before the lunatics are totally in charge of the asylum and traditional Catholics are put in straight jackets because their shepherds were too timid to stand for the truth and shout it from the rooftops or because their voices were too weak, lacking emotion, conviction and heart. This, then, is a no-holds barred plea to our shepherds from the sheep. We are the sheep who want to baa, not boo.
For the twenty-first day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the bluish PERIWINKLE with the corresponding Virtue being PURITY OF INTENTION. It has been said the best intentions often go awry. One reason they do is because they may not be based on God's will. Through purity of intention, it is based on doing the Divine Will in all things. One reason the Periwinkle plant is associated with this is because the periwinkle is a trailing evergreen herb with solitary blue or white flowers, often also referred to as myrtle in the U.S. The trail of good intentions, if followed in a straight line toward Heaven will stretch further toward God; those intentions which are not cultivated and cropped by living a virtuous life, will scatter every which way and gather cockle and thistles, thus becoming refuse to be cast into the eternal fires (cf. St. Matthew 7: 19). Remember Our Lady this month with the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
In Griff Ruby's seventh eight-minute vignette of a sixteen-part YouTube Series "Sedevacantism - A Catholic Perspective", he illustrates how the doppeleganger church of Vatican II is not the Catholic Church but rather an organization that wandered off from Catholic teaching and many, because they had been weaned on obedience, followed until they could see something was seriously wrong. Such men as the late Fr. Gomar DePauw saw this immediately and determined to keep Catholicism alive becoming the father of the Traditional movement. Others came later, but in every case at some point they realized what they had been following was different from what they had learned. Something was seriously wrong and did what they could to return to the true Church, searching it out wherever it was and they were. That is one reason there are so many different communities and opinions within the movement, but still One in worship, Holy in resolve, Universal in the Faith, and Apostolic is keeping the Faith alive. He also assuages those who kept their faith by stop going to the conciliar services, many stayed home, others continued to attend out of obedience but realized at a point in their life that they could no longer belong to something that went against all they had learned. He summarizes that the Church still exists very visibly, albeit in the catacombs, with those who have followed the solid Catechism of Trent and kept the Faith, who stay with what they knew as Griff explains in Part Six: Remaining true to the tried and true
For the twentieth day of May the flower offered to Our Lady for Queen of the May is the popular GERANIUM
with the corresponding Virtue being ZEAL FOR SOULS
. Consider that the colorful Geraniums number over 100 million plants grown and sold throughout the world every year. Each colorful, hardy perennial plant, while often different in color and even design, still belongs to the Geranium family. Now consider that in souls - 100 million souls a year being converted! Talk about Zeal for Souls! That is what we should all have and what pleases Blessed Mary so much. We should consider a person's soul much more beautiful in God's sight than a Geranium and tend to cultivating souls by nourishing them perennially with the Truths and Traditions of the One, True Church. we encourage you during Mary's month to pray the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Few would be willing to wade through the Hegelian ambiguity and double-speak of one Fr. Josef Ratzinger who poses as the bishop of Rome and isn't even a true bishop, let alone pope. Yet, Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey has undertaken the Herculean task, albeit what true Catholics should do in knowing the true Faith by examining the lies littered throughout conciliar releases. Thus, Tom has devoted a four-part series on exposing the vulture of rupture to warn and show where there is no 'rapture' for the resist and recognize crowd who have placed their hopes in a man who is a blatant heretic and apostate. Tom provides the evidence in Ratzinger's own words in the man's latest bandaid for his pet project Motu Mess introduced four years ago as a clever trap to divide the traditional movement and lure in his biggest catch - the SSPX led by Bishop Bernard Fellay who just can't seem to figure out that vultures don't make good pets. Tom disects Ratzinger's latest boondoggle Universae Ecclesiae
, which is a spawn of Summorum Pontificum
and proves once again that one way to know a liar is when a man cannot keep his story straight, and it is only too evident that despite the mask of being a 'traditionalist' - puhlease! the truth is the raptor Ratzigner and his gang of modernist marauders have tried to pick the flesh from the bones of Trent and all the truths and traditions passed down. What they have ended up with is indigestion and a foul smell from this false fowl regurgitated over and over and the truth is they cannot stomach being exposed for the predators of perdition they really are. Tom explains in his four part series As The Conciliar Fowler Lays More Snares
- Part One
, Part Two
, Part Three
, and Part Four
For the nineteenth day of May the flower offered to Our Lady for Queen of the May is the rugged HAWTHORN
with the corresponding Virtue being MORTIFICATION
. This is appropriate for mortification takes being able to withstand pain and pleasure. The red-fruited Hawthorn consisting of dense corymbs of pink-red flowers has stems and leaves which are densely covered with short wooly hairs and must bear up under cold and windy conditions. That is why it is found in evergreen country and the mountains where conditions are rough for a lot of wind helps the weather-worn Hawthorn to bloom.
How fitting that this coincides with the feast of Pope Saint Celestine V today for this holy monk before being elected, spent time in mortification among the Hawthorn flowers. He realized that mortification helps to toughen us in the face of temptation and the life of ease, allowing grace to blossom forth the aromatic myrrh of the Hawthorn. In fact, when elected the Catholic Encyclopedia
says "unseen bells rang peals of surpassing sweetness." And speaking of sweetness, we encourage you during Mary's month to pray the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
In the fifth chapter of Book Three, the Blessed Mother speaks again to her daughter in The Virgin imparts a nautical metaphor to the bride about the prayer of good persons for the people; rulers of the world and the Church compared to helmsmen, while pride and the rest of the vices are compared to storms, which bring to mind the conciliar charlatans that blew in off an ill tide. To navigate through this typhoon, one must set their compass for a haven, which is the passage into truth, and which can equate with those traditional chapels where there is no compromise with the false church and where they have realize they must be always anchored in faith, hope and charity and, by doing so, will always have true devotion to Mary as her divine Son wills it. Our Lady also addresses St. Bridget of Sweden's spiritual calling. As the world grows darker, we seek to provide readers the Light in how to apply It to our own lives so that we can truly live in and love Him alone. These lessons are invaluable in knowing our own hearts and judging the actions and words of those who have donned the purple garments of the episcopacy. Book Three, Chapter Five: Withstanding the Waves
We extend our heartiest congratulations to Father Martin Stepanich, a Franciscan priest who remained true to his calling, remained true to its holy founder St. Francis of Assisi and has battled the barbarians of heresy for a septuagesima in carrying on the true faith during an interminable interregnum, something he had no idea of when ordained on this date in 1941. His Holiness Pope Pius XII was just a few months from entering his third year of his nineteen years and 221 days of his papacy, one that would signal with his death the end of the Church as had been known since the time of Christ and supposedly set in stone with failsafe rules at Trent. Little did a young Fr. Martin realize when he took the Oath Against Modernism that he would have to truly live up to that oath and expose his own brethren. Little did anyone know except the enemies of Christ back then. Consider the United States was not even thinking of war, a war that would be considered the war to end all wars when the Japanese kamikases bombed the naval bases and ships at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Little did Fr. Martin realize from that point on man would be at war with God and few followed the path Fr. Martin chose - the narrow path that leads to God. We in the traditional movement should be eternally grateful for men like Fr. Martin Stepanich and extend our prayers and hopes that what he has sown over the years will take root for future generations in preserving the true faith. You can see more on Fr. Martin at The Godfather of the Traditional Movement
Today on the eighteenth day of May the flower is the delicate LAVENDER
which is mauve in its lavender-like hues with the corresponding Virtue being MODESTY
. This is appropriate for modesty is the cornerstone of chastity and purity. Nothing makes Our Lady happier than a pure heart and a pure heart begins with being pure in the flesh. What we wear governs how we think, where we place God in our lives. Like the Lavender, our souls are delicate and to be immodest in any way or not to practice custody of the eyes puts that delicateness in jeopardy. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Ghost and we must strive to adorn these temples with layers of clothing that are pleasing to our Almighty Creator, not man. What also is pleasing to God is when we pay honor to His Blessed Mother this month with the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
In his sixth vignette, this one eight minutes or so, Griff Ruby focuses on his YouTube Series "Sedevacantism - A Catholic Perspective", the issue of identity and treats the serious result of the current Vatican's dis-identity with the true Catholic Church. Regarding Pharisees and even merely bad popes one must do as they say, even if one dare not do as they do as St. Peter tells us in Sunday's Epistle 1 Peter 2: 11-19 to "be ye subject therefore to every human creature for God's sake: whether it be to the king as excelling, or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evil-doers and for the praise of the good: for so is the will of God, that by doing well you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men." But in the case with the Modernist Vatican leadership one dare not even do as they say for what they say leads us away from the Faith and, ergo, away from God. Griff offers the anology of the Ford Motor Company which is is merely a company, an organization. So also the Modernist Churh of Vatican II is merely an organization, not the one and only Church Christ instituted upon the Rock of Peter because of Lumen Gentium as he has explained previously. Therefore said false church has as much authority as the Ford Motor Company, GM, Toyota, you name it. It is false worship and against the First Commandment. We must realize we are truly living in a time when even the elect, as Jesus says in St. Matthew, will be deceived. It is, as Griff explains in Part Six: Pretenders do deceive
On the seventeenth day of May the Virtue is FIDELITY IN LITTLE THINGS
with the corresponding Flower being the beautiful LILAC
. It is the little buds that group together in fidelity to the greater good God intended to emit the spring fragrance that is so pleasing to the olfactory senses. Lilacs grow in colder climes, meaning they go dormant - retreat, if you will, so that toughened in the rough weather they can blossom ever more magnificently. So also with us. The more trials we face, the more we grow in grace and the more we will be faithful in little things. Today is the feast of St. Paschal Baylon, the holy Franciscan Brother who had such a devotion to the Blessed Sacrament and died in the odor of sanctity. The fragrance of the lilac should remind us of our goal in striving for sanctity through doing the little things God asks and one of those is to pray the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Last week the great pretender Josef Ratzinger did exactly what we said back in the summer of 2007 he would do as he lured SSPXers and the 'resist and recognize' elect into his web of deceit. Many initially will think, 'oh, but with his latest statement the "pope" made it that the 'Latin Mass' would be available to all in every diocese and the 'bishops' couldn't prevent it.' Nice try, but that is the furthest from the rat's motives. No, enough time has evolved that there are very, very, very few true priests left in the conciliar structure considering anyone ordained after 1968 are not true priests, (the exception being traditional priests, but then they have been ordained in the true divinely ordained rite). Those who have been elevated in the conciliar church are merely presbyters since paul 6 dared to change a divinely ordained Sacrament, thus playing Henry VIII and making these men who wear the Roman collar nothing but ministers a la Anglican 'priests' whom His Holiness Pope Leo XIII made certain the world knew they were invalid in his encyclical Apostolicae Curae
that such orders were "absolutely null and utterly void." Anyone who caught a glimpse of the ballyhooed royal wedding could see the Anglican services are much more reverent than the Novus Ordo
but both are still invalid and that goes for the Motu Mess as well and those attempting to confect a sacrament...well, that is impossible because God deemed it so...and the barbarians of Vatican II have assured that it's not valid by their words and actions. A sow's ear is still part of a pig and B16's oinker stinks to high heaven and believe us, Heaven knows. Traditio points out several reasons why you want to stay as far away as possible from the animal farm that is the Motu. Heil Motu!
and Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey nails how devious Ratzinger is in his As the Conciliar Fowler Lays More Snares
For the sixteenth day of the month, the flower is the LILY OF THE VALLEY with the corresponding Virtue being PUNCTUALITY. The purity of the Lily of the Valley can be equated with the parable of the Five Virgins who were punctual and had their lamps lit when the Master came; whereas the other five foolish virgins were not punctual and because they were not, missed out on eternal bliss. That is why punctuality in all things is a virtue so that we will always live in the state of sanctifying grace and like the snow-white Lily of the Valley be ready when God decides to take us out of this Valley of Tears. It is a reminder of the Hail Holy Queen prayer to Our Lady whom we honor this month with the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
To be a president or a college professor or a conciliar bishop doesn't mean you have to be smart, but rather quite dumb considering what one in such professions should know and convey. Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey files several essays exposing the charlatans posing as such by putting body and soul in great jeopardy; Obama with his polyanna narcissism in having no fear of divulging secrets to the enemy that put both our troops and nation in harm's way not to mention his stirring up class warfare and race-baiting whenever he can. Oh, he's made an art of that - the darker side of the art of politics as Tom explains. Then you have the tenured tenebrays [sic] who haven't seen the light in ages and yet are entrusted by clueless parents to mold their college-age children with leftist mush as they deprogram any semblance of the sensus Catholicus
they might have received while at home, which, as we see from the apathy so apparent, that is a stretch. Yes, dating back to Luther and the illegitimate Tudors, there are consequences to the causes that have effected so many as Tom confirms in three of his more recent articles True National Security Is a Joke to This Guy
and Open Letter to Pretended Catholic Scholars
and "Scholarship" in Conciliarism's Land of Oz
John Gregory has graciously provided Father George Leo Haydock's commentaries on the Douay-Rheims version of the New Testament. The Third Sunday following Easter is often called Jubilation Sunday for the Introit "Jubiláte Deo" which means "Shout with joy to God" and Our Lord's words in the Gospel of St. John are indeed cause for joy for no matter how much we may suffer, no matter the travails, Jesus assures us, if we stay the course, obey the divine will and are ever faithful our sorrow will be turned to joy. When that is, only God knows for time to the Almighty is as if thousands of years are but a moment, even just a second as the Haydock Commentary pores over in today's commentary for the Third Sunday after Easter. In a little while...
For the fifteenth day of May, the flower offered to our Blessed Mother is the whispy MIMOSA with the corresponding Virtue being GENEROSITY. God loves a generous heart and one, who loves God and seeks to do His holy Will at all times, cannot help but be generous in all things, illustrated in the stamen of the Mimosa flower, fanning out in ray-like fashion to receive the graces God grants to those who are open to them and practice the cardinal virtues as well as the various virtues illustrated in this, Mary's special month for she is the Queen of the May. It is only natural that everyone would want to be generous to the Queen for that brings great favor from the King, Who is, of course, her divine Son Jesus Christ, to Whom we owe all allegiance, all fidelity, all our love and generosity. Let us pray the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Staying with the subject of the shepherds of souls we see Our Lady's revelations to St. Bridget of Sweden in revealing what God thinks of His bishops who revere themselves and riches more than the treasure of His precious souls. Mary speaks of the covetousness of bad bishops and explains in a long parable of the plight of of one bishop and the reward of a simple priest, a canon who never sought the episcopal cloth and only would have were it God's holy will. These are the kind of men needed today to be our shepherds, but instead, for the vast majority of Catholics they are stuck with the kind of men who will meet the same fate as the bishop in the Blessed Mother's parable to St. Bridget. Thank God for our traditional bishops and pray God they do not seek power and prestige over poverty and penance. If they seek the will of God, we will be indeed blessed and flourish; if they seek their own agenda, we will suffer the consequences. Which is your bishop? These lessons are invaluable in knowing our own hearts and judging the actions and words of those who have donned the purple garments of the episcopacy. Book Three, Chapter Four: The Penitent and the Prideful
For the fourteenth day of May, the flower offered to our Blessed Mother is the PASSION FLOWER with the corresponding Virtue being SACRIFICE. The greatest Sacrifice was the Passion of our Lord which was the greatest Sacrifice that resulted in the blossoming of souls through salvation for all who followed Christ's teachings? On this day let us remember also the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - same Sacrifice as that of the cross, for the victim is one and the same, namely, Christ our Lord, Who offered Himself, once only, a bloody Sacrifice on the altar of the cross. The bloody and unbloody victim are not two, but one Victim only, Whose Sacrifice is daily renewed in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass when the bread and wine are confected into the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. This continual Sacrifice is carried on in obedience to the command of our Lord: "Do this for a commemoration of Me." There is no bouquet more pleasing to His Blessed Mother than worthily assisting at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass where our souls should open wide like the Passion Flower to embrace our crosses sent so lovingly by the Almighty. Carrying our cross daily is what Sacrifice is all about so that grace will flower forth, so abundant in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Saint Robert Bellarmine, the holy Cardinal and Doctor of the Church is the feast in which Our Lady chose to begin her historic and vital apparitions to three children at the Cova in Portugal. This Italian saint was born on the feast of the founder of the Franciscans, but trained as a Jesuit and came through with flying colors in God's eyes in upholding the ideals of the Society as its founders had established. He was an extremely sharp polemist who was not afraid to take on the most vitrolic Protestant theologians and, because this master apologist never wavered from Catholic truth, he always won out in perpetuating the Counter Reformation of Trent. His fame, humility and sense of the sensus Catholicus won back countless souls who had wavered during the Reformation. But his wisdom was not employed only on the sheep, but the shepherds as well - the chief shepherds - for he was Theologian and Spiritual Counselor to no less than five Popes. He was the noted
Theologian to the Roman Pontiffs
For the thirteenth of May the flower was the LAUREL
blossom with the corresponding Virtue being LOVE OF DUTY
. What a perfect day for this for it was the love of duty to the Church and Christ's Vicar on earth that prompted St. Robert Bellarmine to become a Jesuit priest and then to utilize all his God-given talents for the greater honor and glory of God and His Holy Church. Likewise, Our Lady appeared near the Cova and a copse of trees where Laurel blossoms might be found and her message was to remind her children of our duty to pray and to obey her Divine Son. She instilled in the Fatima children and from them out to all mankind the importance of the Virtue of Love of Duty. We have a duty to spread and live all Our Lady imparted and which was officially approved as worthy of belief by Holy Mother Church as is the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
In Griff Ruby's fifth seven-minute lecture on his YouTube Series "Sedevacantism - A Catholic Perspective", he emphasizes the fact that despite all the underlying problems in the Church, there are still those out there who cling to their Catholic Faith in every way they possibly can through the catechism, prayer life and the true Sacraments by truly valid priests. No they may not know all the nuances on why the conciliar popes cannot possibly be true Popes, or why those men who might be considered by the world as 'popes' had excommunicated themselves long ago through heresy and apostasy - not in anyone judging them - for the caveat is always brought up by non-sedevacantist enthusiasts that "a pope can be judged by no one" and indeed that is true. However, what those pundits fail to acknowledge is that these men of the Vatican II lineage are not popes and therefore must be judged and have been, not by Catholics today, but rather by the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church and, per St. Paul's words in Galatians 1: 8-10, "let them be anathema." That, for the uninformed means condemned. But it is the uninformed who Griff addresses today, sharing his own experiences that should encourage all to be patient with our fellow Catholics and work to understand and unite all who remain true to the Truths and Traditions of holy Mother Church and put aside the petty differences that divide. He explains in Part Five: Living the Catholic Sense (sensus Catholicus)
On the twelfth of May the flower offered to Our Lady is the tube-like HEATH-FLOWER
with the corresponding Virtue being RECOLLECTION
. The Heath-Flower comes from the Greek genus Epacris
- meaning "upon the hill" where it grows. Many believe they sprouted on Calvary but this has not been proven in such climes. Yet, it would be appropriate for the Virtue of Recollection is centered on the Sacrifice of Christ upon Golgotha where His Blessed Mother stood faithfully to the end. So also are we able to stand with her through recollection of the Mysteries of the Cross. Appropriately, today's feast of Sts. Nereus and Companions focuses on this beginning with the Introit Ecce oculi
- "Behold the eyes of the Lord are on them that fear Him, hoping in His mercy." As the Heath-flower hangs down like a religious' habit, so to speak, - such as a monk in a monastery - to remind one to put on the garments of God in humility and recollect, so also practicing the Virtue of Recollection prompts one to look within the soul and seek in all humility to think of spiritual rather than temporal things and one spiritual devotion that brings this home is The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
On the eleventh day of May and the flower offered to Our Lady is the beautiful PINK ROSE
with the corresponding Virtue being PRAYER
. How appropriate that outside of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the most efficacious prayer is Mary
's Holy Rosary. The pink rose so magnificently expresses Our Lady's true femininity and divine motherhood. Her Rosary which she herself bestowed to St. Dominic
is a spiritual bouquet of roses we can offer daily to Heaven, a spiritual bouquet built upon the ancient prayers of the Psalter - 150 decades for the 150 Psalms of David
the Prophet. Even more special this year is that it falls on the Solemnity of her earthly chaste spouse St. Joseph and on the feast of the holy Apostles Sts. Philip and James. the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
In light of this past Sunday's Gospel on the Good Shepherd, these revelations to St. Bridget of Sweden are most appropriate in the fact we see clearer than ever the mind of God and what we need to do to not only assure our own salvation, but win souls for Him in sharing Heaven. It begins with our shepherds and if we have good ones, there will be many fruits. In the third chapter of Book Three, the Blessed Mother speaks again to her daughter in giving her a complete explanation to the bishop on how he should exercise his episcopal office in order to give glory to God, and illustrates the double reward for having held the rank of bishop in a true way and a warning of the double disgrace for having held it in a false way, and how Jesus Christ and all the saints welcome a true and upright bishop, who strives for holiness in himself and his flock. Such an example are the three bishops we celebrate this week: St. Gregory Nazianzen, St. Antonius, and St. Robert Bellarmine. As the world grows darker, we seek to provide readers the Light in how to apply It to our own lives so that we can truly live in and love Him alone. These lessons are invaluable in knowing our own hearts and judging the actions and words of those who have donned the purple garments of the episcopacy. Book Three, Chapter Three: The work of a true shepherd is never done
Today is the tenth day of May and SWEETNESS
is the designated Virtue with the corresponding flower for Mary's bouquet being the delicate JASMINE
. On this Feast of Saint Antoninius it is appropriate that the Jasmine, a fragrant white or yellow flower, employed to flavor tea or in perfume, is the flower of the day since St. Antoninius, as the Archbishop of Firenze, sought to extinguish the noxious fumes of the false Renaissance with the love of truth and encouraging his flock to study and do penance whereby the sweetness of the fragrance of truth emanated through in souls being saved. Truly pure Sweetness! To enhance this sweetness, there are few things sweeter than the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
In Griff Ruby's YouTube Series on "Sedevacantism - A Catholic Perspective", he presents the fourth in his lectures on the new office, the new religion in which all who followed one Giovanni Montini, posing as Paul VI, are popes of an entirely different religion. So if you want to call them "popes", go ahead, but know they are not Catholic Popes. That is because, even though they have hijacked the name "Catholic" and the trappings that go with it, they have NO jurisdiction under God as Sovereign Pontiffs of the Church founded by Jesus Christ. Since they do not have universal jurisdiction they do not have the protection of the Holy Ghost. That explains all the heresy and apostasy as they continue through the years to introduce new innovations in trying to stay in tune with what the world wants, not God. It is the obvious, logical answer to how God would allow Josef Ratzinger's "beatification" of Karol Wojtyla. A true pope would have been stopped by the Sanctifier, but since the conciliar antichrists are not true popes, let alone Catholic, they can do whatever they please and they do, acting like teenagers pushing the envelope. Eventually it will catch up with them. We can only hope and pray for that day. As we can see in Griff's fourth talk the conciliar church is a Paper Papecy [sic]
Today is the Feast of the holy Doctor of the Church and Bishop St. Gregory Nazianzen, the second of four holy Doctors honored this month. St. Gregory was another from the 4th century who also faced the intense persecutions and calumnies of the Arian bishops. Son of two saints - Saint Gregory Nazianzen the Elder and Saint Nonna - and the sibling of two others - Saint Caesarius and Saint Gorgonna - this Doctor of the Church teamed with another Doctor of the Church the holy Saint Basil to uphold true teaching in combating the heresies of his time. The holy bishop St. Gregory Nazianzen is considered the Church's Theologian. This Cappadocian shepherd also nurtured a young protege who would turn out pretty well himself, one Saint Jerome. St. Gregory is often called the
Administrator of Theology
For the ninth day of May the flower was the majestic MIGNONETTE
with the corresponding Virtue being the PRACTICE OF HIDDEN VIRTUES
. Appropriately it is the Feast Day of Saint Gregory Nazianzen, the holy Bishop and Doctor of the Church who was a vaunted defender of the Faith against the Arian heresy and practiced the Hidden Virtues in winning souls to the True Faith while traversing the rocky regions of Constantinople near the Mediterranean where the Mignonette blooms forth abundantly with its spikelike clusters of greenish or yellowish white flowers. The Mignonette emits an intense spicy fragrance, at first hidden from the nose's senses until closer to it, just as practicing Hidden Virtues may not be evident to all until they are exposed to the virtuous life of the person for "By their fruits you shall know them"
(St. Matthew 7: 20). We encourage you to pray the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
For the eighth day of May and the Double Major Feast of the Apparition of Saint Michael the Archangel
the virtue is FAITH
and the greatest warrior in Heaven for defending the Faith is the noble winged general. The flower symbolized is the IRIS
which blooms in the Spring and we must spring forward with faith to uphold and spread the True Faith, being irises who bloom where they are planted. Just as the iris is so functional to the eye, we must be on our watch against the wiles and snared of the devil. Count on St. Michael the Archangel - Quis ut Deus
- He who is like God - to be our defense against satan who seeks the ruin of souls. It was the Archangel who first appeared to the Fatima children prior to Our Lady's first visit to the Cova 94 years ago this coming Friday. We urge you to pray the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
John Gregory has graciously provided Father George Leo Haydock's commentaries on the Douay-Rheims version of the New Testament. The Second Sunday following Easter is often referred to as Good Shepherd Sunday for the Gospel of St. John in which Christ proclaims that He is the Good Shepherd and He knows His sheep and they know Him. He identifies those who are not true shepherds for they will flee and leave the flock to fend for themselves, but not before they have weakened them further by not instilling sound doctrine and safeguards for their souls. Such is the state of the shepherds within the conciliar structure who are either lukewarm or lemmings who have an agenda to please man, not God. We know they are false shepherds from the chief shepherd the world considers as pope all the way down to the lowliest priest for there are so few true priests left thanks to the false shepherd Paul VI daring to alter what Christ established. As St. Paul says so clearly in Galatians 1: 8, if some one preach other than what is Catholic truth, let them be condemned, just as the dogmatic Council of Trent reaffirmed. We see so clearly Our Lord's words My Sheep know Me
