Tumultuous and tragic times in Tucson! Indeed, is it not symbolic that the latest tragedy to visit this country, which has deserted God, occurred in the desert? Yes it is ironic that the arid, prideful souls so stubbornly refuse to be refreshed at the oasis of God's unending fountain of true Mercy and Justice. The only relief from rotting in the sands of time is to return to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church which, as we must in every disclaimer, remind you that the former has no resemblance to the structures of Modernist Rome that poses as the 'Catholic Church' today.

    More on that later, but I, for one, am so tired of the claptrap being spewed out in every medium this week in pointing blame at conservative camps without taking any personal responsibility for this latest attack on man's freedoms. Now they want to control us by taking away free speech by eliminating certain words that they have determined incites hate which leads to violence. They play on fear to put more fear into us without a word about the Fear of the Lord.

    Why, if this verbal engineering continues, we may have to eliminate every symbol or image that reflects or hints at some sort of violence or combat. Cross-hair rifle symbols, bullseye targets, hatchets, hammers and sickles. Now the latter two wouldn't be all that bad to erase, but don't think for a minute that there is any balance to the progressive's logic. No, they will do everything they can through legislation, verbal engineering and intimidation to eliminate symbols that we need and rely on just so they can control and dictate our lives the way they want, not the way we want or what God wills. Think about that for a moment. It is not too far-fetched to think of what will be next in their eradication end-game. Perhaps the the crucifix itself. Don't laugh. It's already happened in many conciliar schools as we can attest. Back in 1989 in fact, we were told by the principal of St. Mary Magdalene parish school in San Diego during a parents-teachers meeting for our oldest son Kevin, at the time in second grade, that there were no longer crucifixes on the walls because, and I quote, "Oh, that would be too traumatic for the children." We immediately took him out and homeschooled him for the rest of the year. As I responded to this manipulated moron of a principal, "If you're Catholic, you're weaned on the Crucifix." The problem was most of the students were not Catholic, but those privileged who could afford the steep tuition to be programmed in the progressive curriculum.

    But now any semblance of violence could be targeted (oops, pretty soon we won't be able to use that word either) because of an isolated incident that the left is using as a diversion to stem the tide the right has been on since the recent elections despite the lameduck lacerations inflicted upon its clueless citizens in December. In fact, it is this very crisis that they are capitalizing on in following former Chief-of-Staff Rahm Emmanuel's mantra, "Never allow a good crisis to go to waste." Yes, folks, we are fast going from the irrational to the ridiculous.

    Here at The DailyCatholic we refuse to tone down the verbs to mollify the lukewarm into being verbally engineered and dumbed down even further. Hence, we will not modify our campaign to "Fight 4 Your Faith". After all, the definition of "fight" means to engage in battle or in single combat; attempt to defend oneself against or to subdue, defeat, or destroy an adversary., to war against, or to contend in any manner; strive vigorously for or against something.

    The problem is too many have given up the fight and raised the white flag of surrender. That is evident in how few provide financial help for those on the front lines even today in the traditional camp. They have forgotten their role as members of the Church Militant. The definition of militant? A person engaged in warfare or combat. Yet, so many have given up their will to fight. It is an age-old problem.

    How else can you explain the defection from the Church in the sixteenth century? How else can you explain the compromising of Catholics during the American Revolution and the caving of many Catholics during the French Revolution? How else can you explain the zombie-like cowering to the changes of Vatican II in the total sacking of Catholic truths in favor of the odorous oecumenism of One World Order? How else can you explain the election of a closet Marxist Muslim to lead our country into further ruin?

    Oh, the enemy hasn't given up the fight because their general is lucifer and he will carry the 'light' (we know it is the torch of darkness) of war against man's soul until his head is crushed beneath the heel of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Most Immaculate Queen of Heaven as foretold in Genesis 3: 15. Until then he will fight to the death and take with him countless souls who have no clue as to what is really at stake: their eternal damnation. We know this very clearly from St. Paul's warning in Ephesians 6: 12, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood : but against principalities and powers against the rulers of the world of this darkness : against the spirits of wickedness in the high places."

    Those who possess a naturalist agenda will cry out, "How can God allow such violence?" as if it is the Supreme Judge's fault that the defendant has sinned and that the Judge should pay for the plaintiff's sins. Ah, bulletin to those who forget that He did pay for our sins. Do you remember the Crucifixion? Still, we didn't learn, did we? Did not Jesus Christ say in St. Matthew 7: 13-14, "Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who enter by it. How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way, which leadeth to life: and few there are who find it." ?

    Did He not follow that up with what we should be on guard against? "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves" (St. Matthew 7: 15). Are not the pundits who are responsible before God for communicating the truth, whether it be in our spiritual life or temporal matters ravenous wolves who are circling in packs to knock off the weak? Who is weaker than the helpless embryo in a mother's womb?

    Do you not think there are consequences to such veering from the divine will in favor of making life easier for sinners and accommodating them in their deadly sins? Of course there are, but don't tell that to the potentates who govern the counterfeit church of conciliarism, aka NewChurch, Vatican II church, or Modernist Rome. No, the grand poobah Benedict and his potentates are not Catholic and that is evident by the very next words Christ relates in chapter 7 of St. Matthew: By their fruits you shall know them. Do men gather grapes off thorns, or figs off thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, and the bad tree bringeth forth bad fruit. A good tree cannot yield bad fruit, neither can a bad tree yield good fruit. Every tree that yieldeth not good fruit, shall be cut down, and shall be cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them."

    The fruits, bitter indeed. Suddenly this week springboarding immediately on the heels of the sheriff of Pima County Clarence Dupnik' off-the-cuff personal political opinion, the left lamestream media, totally moronically mesmerized by Marxist principles while exposing themselves in their antics as if they were more like the Marx Brothers in their bizarre reasoning, flailed out against conservatives. It was almost as if they were simultaneously getting their marching orders from billionaire socialist (yes, that is an oxymoron) George Soros against violence by pinning Loughner's actions on political motivation and directly attacking the main thorns in the progressives' thin hides, none other than second amendment supporters Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh as the usual suspects.

    It's interesting to remember that the progressives were basically totally silent as was their mighty leader Barry Hussein Suetero Obama when more than a dozen were gunned down in the Fort Hood shooting and it was obvious to all the killer was a Muslim terrorist, screaming out "Allah akbar." Silence ever since from the media, DOJ and White House. But when a crazed single-handed gunman, influenced by the books he's read such as Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf and Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto opens fire killing a handful, it suddenly is the conservative's fault because they rule, for the most part, talk radio and Fox News.

    Talk about bizarre. While the taking of even one life is tragic for murder is a sin against the Fifth Commandment, think about the paradox. Compare the lives of a few innocent citizens of Arizona to the senseless slaughter of so many Mexicans by the drug cartels; or the killing of our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan in a war without an end or purpose; or the murder of Christians by Muslim extremists the world over; or the genocide of people in Africa, Asia and South America; or the greatest crime under the protection of the racketeers of infanticide: millions and millions, quite possibly billions of souls never given the chance to breathe in being eliminated in the womb by a selfish nation intent on instant gratification to satisfy their deepest lusts.

    And instant gratification is what has spurred the violence that pulses through every vein of today's youth in the violent, and we do mean violent, and spurious world of movies, music (if you want to call such cacaphony such) and video games all available on the computer or cell phones and which leave little to the imagination while encouraging "kills" and "wiping out" their opponent whomever that might be. Take sides, it doesn't matter what avatar you might be, the intent is to destroy. Advertising today relishes the concept of an "in your face" attitude to peddle their wares. And then we wonder why we have mentally ill maniacs who open fire in a market mall in fairly upscale neighborhoods? Puhlease.

    The facts are that we have ticking time bombs throughout every town in our nation thanks to every indoctrination camp, also called public schools where God and His divine laws have been totally outlawed and sin is promoted in the most grievous manner possible by forcing the most perverted sins on innocent vulnerable children under cover of law where what God delivered to Moses has no meaning and the golden idol built at the base of Sinai now rules in the name of abortion, contraception, euthanasia and sodomy. All perfectly acceptable in a society that has gone horribly wrong. Even in so-called Catholic schools today, as mentioned above, remove Christ, remove His protection and blessing. Ergo, no grace to sustain the flock who have scattered.

    Should we be surprised that an anti-societal recluse named Jared Lee Loughner decided to take matters into his own hands? The mind is a fragile miracle formed by God, but when it is overtaxed with contradictions to the natural law...well, we most probably have many more Loughners than previously thought considering the signals our youth have been fed today. In Tucson alone there were 70,000 mentally handicapped people being treated. Not Loughner. Now add every city in the country, the world and you can see the pot is boiling. Even those who may not be quantified as mentally ill could be stirred to that last straw by remembering they are threatened by the fact that they will be burdened by foreclosures, rising prices and the debt irresponsible politicos have heaped upon this nation and other nations throughout the world in their ideological idiocy and we can see a world ripe for rebellion against anything that disturbs their own comfort zones.

    Emotions can stir many things. Love and hate. Hate right now has the upper-hand because Love has been muted. Hate is at the base of the radical left Democrats who seem to have rehearsed just for an event like this as a perilous platform to pounce on the opportunity to demonize those who have been proselytizing less government control and returning to the naturalist origins of our country.

    While the pundits on the right may call on God, they fail to realize our Lord's next words in St. Matthew 7 in verses 21 through 23: "Not every one that saith to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven: but he that doth the will of My Father, Who is in Heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name, and cast out devils in Thy name, and done many wonderful works in Thy name?' And I will profess unto them: I never knew you: depart from Me, you that work iniquity."

    Was it not St. Paul who used the same term in 2 Thessalonians 2: 7? "For the mystery of iniquity already worketh: only that he who now holdeth, do hold, until he be taken out of the way." Did the Apostle of the Gentiles not identify this iniquity in verses 10 and 11? And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish: because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe a lie. That all may be judged, who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity."

    We can blame whoever we want, but the truth of the matter is that they have done this to themselves because they have abandoned the Rock. There are many who cling to the principles of Glenn Beck and Palin to name just a few. Both are fallen away Catholics. There are countless others in the media from Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly on the right as compromising conciliarists to Joe Scarborough, Chris Matthews and so-called comedian Bill Maher on the left to name just a few who were raised Catholic. Do I really have to mention such Judases as Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden and the rest of their political ilk? Catholic congress persons in name only who have all surfacely cried out so hypocritically "Lord, Lord." The list would take a lifetime to count.

    The fact of the matter is that. were they truly Catholic, things would have been much different. The same goes for the conciliar bishops who refuse to rein in the sinners by enforcing Canon Law, not to mention Divine Law. But then that could only be effected if they were Catholic. No wonder so many who populate conciliar churches on Saturday evenings and Sundays go to be entertained, not educated; to be mollified, not mortified; to be catered to, not cajoled into reforming their lives; to be milked into guilt to give of their hard earned money to pay for cover-ups and scandal, not to provide the milk of truth that Christ pours forth so generously in Sacred Scripture.

    Let us go back to St. Matthew 7 in continuing Christ's discourse with the multitudes when He said in verses 24-27, Every one, therefore, who heareth these My words, and doth them, shall be likened to a wise man, who built his house upon a rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell not, for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these My words, and doth them not, shall be like a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall thereof."

    ..."for it was founded upon a rock." Remind you of anything? How about page forward nine chapters to verse 18 of St. Matthew: "And I say to thee: That thou art Peter : and upon this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

    Ah ha, there it is. The culprit of the massacre in the desert. It is not the house built upon a rock for that rock is hidden today in the catacombs, if you will, while the bold house built upon the sands of the Protestant Reformation, French Revolution and Vatican II boldly thinks they have the answer when all they need to do is read the above words from Divine Revelation to see they're in the wrong house. That is why there are no fruits from an institution that claims to be the rock but has no guts of granite nor muscle of marble in allowing the rains of naturalism, the winds of syncretism, and the floods of Modernism to wash away their consciences and abandon the duty to be the Guardian of virtue and morality, to be the beacon to where all souls can find safe harbor from the swirling waves that flood in and threaten to capsize the ships lost in a sea of confusion because they have abandoned the Two Pillars and the rock of ages: the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by Christ; the only one founded by the Son of God upon this earth.

    Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey delves deeper into this in his no-holds barred essay yesterday on the fact that without turning to Christ as our Sovereign King, we are left as prey no matter if we go through the motion of looking like we pray in All Falls Apart, Absent Christ the King No other course will do. No political party can stop the violence, no country can prevent the mayhem, no religious leader can promise peace even by calling a third atrocious Assisi Syncretic Summit this coming October. No, the only means of preventing man from being washed away into the whirlpool of eternal damnation is to not only turn back to Christ, but to His will which is returning to the rock that is His true Church; to making that known without fear of retaliation. Oh, the enemy may get very violent and call us every name in the book, but as a cultural icon has long been fond of saying in an appropriately named magazine for this age of insanity: MAD magazine and it's mascot Alfred E. Newman: "What, me worry?"

    Not if we work to establish the Social Reign of Christ the King and Mary as our Immaculate Queen. We can only do that by belonging to His army. Army? Does that not mean we must go to battle? You better believe it. We must be equipped. St. Paul has outlined our uniform in Ephesians 6: 11-20. If we do not don this protection, if we do not truly know the Faith in order to keep the Faith and fight to the death to share it for Him, then we could very well be in the same predicament this nation and many other nations are in today for they should definitely be worried. Why? That's a no-brainer for they are in the crosshairs of God's Wrath.
