We have all heard the U.S. Constitution described as a living document. I came to understand this expression as meaning that this great document brought a nation life through democracy, freedom and the ability to grow and develop with time. Nowhere is this more evident than in its various stated freedoms properly interpreted according to the tone and flavor of its themes, purposes, and limitations. The document's ability to grow and develop toward the God that the Founding Fathers made a central part of their thoughts and writings was never more evident than in respect to the issues of slavery and women's right to vote. It is in those two developments that we see a document at once anchored in firm; sound principles yet open to the light of conscience and the Will of The Creator!

    As Catholics, we also know that the Holy Bible as compiled and translated by Saint Jerome stands as a living document as well. In its pages we find the life of God's Word and its healing, guiding, merciful, and saving powers as well, carried out in the fullness of the Sacraments Christ gave His holy Church. To read and think about the lessons and messages contained in Sacred Scripture and to assist at Holy Mass is to at once link ourselves with both those ancient believers who sought God yet sinned, felt sorrow, pain, loss, hardship, doubt, love, joy, and satisfaction as we do. As the Constitution is the link between the noble goals and causes of our Founding Fathers, so too The Holy Bible is our link to Our Creator. Both documents are living to the extent that they can help us grow toward God as believers and citizens.

Interpretations, Judgments, Experts and Penumbras

    Both the Holy Bible and The U.S. Constitution have since been subjected to a slew of so-called expert interpretations, applications, judgments, and penumbras which have been used to twist, spread, contort, and package both documents to fit the whims and biases of the day. Their living nature has been interpreted not as a special ability to convey and recognize the blessings of a Creator, but as the right to morph into all manner of justifications, rationalizations, deceptions, and compromise to human greed, arrogance, subjective taint, and personal agendas. Nowhere is this more evident than in the absurdity of Separation of Church and State nowhere found in the Constitution but fully pasted on it by demonic deviants from divinity posing as just jurors of jurisprudence!

    We also see how this great document that has been twisted to allow and even encourage the abortion of God from society is also now being waved as the justification and even call to abort babies from the womb! Both abominations are vile, ruthless, and depraved distortions of this great document penned by men who at least gave God His just due!

    What of our Holy Scripture? Do we not now see equally depraved and vile so-called "experts" interpreting and twisting and even editing the Word of God to fit their arrogant, demonic, and depraved minds? Instead of being honored and followed as a living document of God's living covenant with His people and Christ's living promise of salvation to those who follow Him, this glorious document has been altered, updated, distorted, feminized, homosexualized, and pasteurized to fit the tastes and sin intolerance of a society whose spiritual nutritional habits are nothing more than fast-sin and drive-through perdition! The document of God's Living Word has been debased and ignored into a permit to sin, to kill, to spit on all that is Holy and Sacred! How ironic that both living documents are now used, hand in hand, to justify death! How vile that both documents are twisted and ignored as those who mutilate morality see fit!

Living No Longer Means Living under God!

    One need only read the original words themselves in the clean, unblemished documents to understand the role of God in the ventures of living and governing! It is clear from reading exterior documents and understanding the motivations and purposes of both the writers and those living during the birth of these events and ideas that God was a central, critical key to all of the good which these documents pointed to.

    There is no doubt that the developments mentioned above up to the start of the Twentieth Century represented clear elaborations and refinements which respected and even furthered the Will of God and our ability to follow that Will! To read the traditional Catholic Bible and The United States Constitution is not unlike reading the documents of the Church before Vatican II wherein precision, absolute language, and unique purpose were evident.

    What made both The Bible and The Constitution so special was their ability to guide the present in the spirit of the past. This was a life tied to the umbilical cords of God's Will and Word and the principles of fair, just government! Today those cords have been cut so that the Truth of both documents can be aborted in the shadow of choice and distorted freedoms whose origins are not of God but of an apple in a lost paradise! No, living no longer means living under God, but living without God and in rejection and revolt of His Divine Authority! Both covenants with a God-fearing past have been turned into Magna Cartas for a sinful present!

False Walls Tearing Down True Walls

    We have long heard of the so-called Wall of Separation between Church and State that is merely a sham and a fraud hoisted on our ears and minds by godless ghouls. We have also heard of the so-called Wall between the past and the progressive present claiming to separate the ancient, superstitious, and useless from the present, modern, and practical. These two false walls have been hoisted on the ruins of the true walls that these two documents stood for. The Constitution stood as a wall against oppression, injustice, and abuse. It promised to apply the medicine of past wisdom while accepting the innovation of present insight all under the watchful and blessing Eye of The Creator. This dependence on God is clear from the exterior writings of The Founders, who, though Calvinistic in leaning, thought it mere folly to function or govern without God. This great wall preventing us from falling into a Godless and unruly society has been torn down to make way for the wall of Separation of Church and State and all of the abuses that this wall has led to.

    Meanwhile, The Holy Bible has stood as a wall protecting us from the corruption, damnation, and vile temptation of sin and the evil one. It has always shielded us from the winds of ungodly change and the storms of temptation and vice. This sacred wall has likewise been torn down to make way for the wall separating tradition from godless innovation, Truth from deception and lies, and God from those He would save. The New Order is trying to bring down the True Order.

    We thus see the destruction of two walls of protection in the wake of the construction of two walls of separation. It is in this process that the living documents have become documents used to justify death and sin!

Conclusion

    One of the devil's surest markers is the mocking of the sacred, the holy, the good, the just, the true, and nowhere is this more evident than in the corruption, distortion, and selective misuse of the Holy Mass, our Holy Bible and The United States Constitution. These latter two documents tied God and life and God and governing were living words breathing with the spirit of The Creator and instituted as the expression of His Divine Will and Justice. Now, they have either been ignored or twisted to justify precisely that which they stood against, so vile and ironic is Satan's mockery! Despite the deception and corruption of these two documents, we know that God Almighty will ultimately overturn those who would debase what is sacred and just to serve what is vile and corrupt!

    Until then, satan will continue to twist the truths and if we are faithful to man and his dictates rather than God and His infallible Laws, then we could very well find ourselves twisting in the winds of justifying sin. In that case the devil has won. Are we that willing to give in so easily? Like our Founding Fathers and the Saints and Martyrs of Holy Mother Church, we are fighters. Dig in and resolve here and now, that the devil will never take us alive...or dead!
