The so-called "King of the World" Takes on The King of The Universe in a Titanic Disaster

Here we go again! The Lenten Season seems to annually bring Christ-haters out of the woodwork in trying to foist on the faithful lies and deceits that are so uncredible that they replicate the very demons that were driven out of the possessed man into a herd of swine which Christ refers to in St. Matthew 8: 30-31. What those perpetrating the lies and deception fail to realize is what happened to those swine. They rushed headlong over the cliff into the abyss. Are you listening, James Cameron?

"Simply put, you have a producer whose background describes as a man who loves to concoct fiction out of twisted history joining forces with a trash scholar and including a very biased scholar as one of his supporting "experts". When you start out with garbage, add biased fools and treasure hunters to the mix, add dashes of junk science and speculation and finish off your dish with pretenses of being "the latest historical evidence" or anything other than fraudulent fertilizer, what can you possibly expect? After all, Cameron was involved with Aliens, The Terminator, The Abyss, and, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, not to mention Dark Angel. Coincidence? Read on for this is a man who is obsessed, if not possessed, by the dark side. Can you say one of satan's little helpers?"

James Cameron, the director of such films as Titanic and True Lies, is producing a trash documentary entitled The Lost Tomb of Jesus in which he and his associates claim to have evidence of the burial of Jesus, Mary, Mary Magdalene and a son of Jesus and Magdalene named Judah. The man who twisted a terrible disaster into a romance and called himself "the king of the world" upon receiving his Oscar for Titanic is now attempting to twist Christianity's most sacred elements into a fictitious fraud in the spirit and steps of such rubbish as The DaVinci Code.

But should we be surprised? After all in these times, if they can't legislate hate against Christianity - and believe me they're trying - then they'll fabricate whatever they can to denigrate Christ and His followers. Why? Because of both their hatred for Christ and what He stands for and to throw the scent off of their own sins so that they can continue to sin with no boundaries. That's exactly what Cameron is doing for this thrice-divorced director from Canada, whose famed for producing fictional dark fantasy, seems to think he can condone his own sins by trashing and denouncing Christ's divinity. That is the modus operandi of those who have chosen to align themselves in the camp of Christ's foe, the devil. Get used to it, for you're going to see it increase even more as satan launches everything but the kitchen sink at those faithful to Jesus.

Never forget what our Lord foretold in St. John 15: 20-27:

"If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you: if they have kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake: because they know not Him that sent Me. If I had not come, and spoken to them, they would not have sin: but now they have no excuse for their sin. He that hateth Me, hateth My Father also. If I had not done among them the works taht no other man hath done, they would not have sin: but now they have both seen, and hated both Me and My Father. But that the word may be fulfilled which is written in their law: 'They have hated Me without cause.' But when the Paraclete is come, Whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, Who proceededth from the Father, He shall give testimony of Me. And you shall give testimony, because you are with Me from the beginning."

That is why I must speak out on this vile matter for Cameron may have many special effects in his repetorire, but we who believe need no proof or tricks for we see with the eyes of faith and that is enough. Those who believe know a fool when they see him, and pray for him that his foolish ways will not lead him to perdition. And yet, the now famous or infamous James Cameron is obsessed with the Abyss. One wonders why and one wonders why he would be so blatantly bold as to try to discredit the true King of the World. Is it jealousy? After all, one could file a plagiarism or copyright suit since Christ had it first and still is and will be forever "The King of the World."

Vile Rubbish Posing as Scientific Evidence

The documentary The Lost Tomb of Jesus, to be aired March 4th on The Discovery Channel, claims that DNA and statistical evidence points to a number of ossuaries, or bone boxes, as providing strong evidence that Jesus did not rise from the dead, was buried with His family, had a child with Mary Magdalene, and that basically, once again, the core of Christianity is based on lies which our learned scholars of today will discredit.

Critics point out that this trash is based on very flimsy and inconsistent conjecture, mathematical guessing, overreaching DNA claims and a total disrespect for true scientific analysis, determination and procedure. Cameron pretends that the so-called evidence is "darn compelling" to the layperson, but objective observers and experts argue that his list of so-called experts and scholars are nothing but biased people with a proven agenda to bash Christianity while pretending to seriously study its origins. One observer argued that many of the claims made by these filmmakers are clearly thrown out to the public with either ignorance or disregard of the cultural and historical environment from which they were supposed to have taken place.

We are supposed to believe, for example, that Christ's followers followed a man walking around with his wife and kid. Now, what would motivate people to so passionately follow a leader…a miraculous and transcendental end or a simple bumping into at the market? Some of the statements made by these people include references to Mary Magdalene's "preaching" revealing a Gnostic and goddess undercurrent very similar to the DaVinci garbage.

Critics observe that mathematical claims are simply playing with numbers and the probabilities of certain name clusters found in the boxes being other than those related to Christ. Given the popularity of the names involved during Christ's time, such mindless conjecture is as asinine as it is pathetic. This would be like some idiot one thousand years from today finding some coffins belonging to people named Ashley, Britney, Kaitlin and Jonathan and, from that, concluding that some unique group was involved.

As for the DNA rubbish, many observers argue that Western society has increasingly been brainwashed to bow and kneel at the altar of "DNA" as if its mere mention carried some air of authenticity and veracity. In truth, DNA and CSI experts agree that the kind of determinations that this documentary claims are very tricky and certainly a stretching of the envelope.

Associates in Trash

Cameron has aligned himself with director Simcha Jacobovici and includes "scholar" James Tabor for this latest hit job by Hollywood against Christianity. Jacobovici has been completely discredited by the scholarly community as nothing more than a modern-day, self-proclaimed Indiana Jones and Tabor's work, which includes such dung as 2006's The Hidden History of Jesus, His Royal Family and the Birth of Christianity, drips with Gnostic, goddess worship and DaVinci-type bias and speculation.

Simply put, you have a producer whose background describes as a man who loves to concoct fiction out of twisted history joining forces with a trash scholar and including a very biased scholar as one of his supporting "experts". Can you say one of satan's little helpers?

A Secular Triple Play

It is not often that secular Christianity-bashers get the chance to attack their hated target, pretend to be scholarly and profound and turn a pretty penny doing so. Dan Brown was able to make that triple play a while back, and now James Cameron and his band of fools is looking to do the same thing. I do not know what is worse; the fact that these Hollywood and entertainment imbeciles patch together junk science and wild speculation pretending to be accomplishing anything beyond supporting their own bias and hatred of Christianity, or the tragedy that there are so many clueless sheep out there ready, willing and able to join those who already enjoy bashing Christian doctrine as fawning fans of this manure.

As Dr. James White of Alpha Omega Ministries so aptly put it, you have biased, prejudiced filmmakers and writers with a huge financial stake in matters using every possible kind of theoretical source without the slightest concern for consistency or proper historical methodology going for the most sensationalistic slant they can conjure, with all of this absurdity served on a silver platter to mindless masses as historical truth, valid evidence and new frontiers in archeological discovery. No matter how you dress this trash, it is nothing more than yet another hit-job against Christianity in the garb of serious historical analysis. Its basis and conjectures are so flimsy and absurd as to push serious archeological work back decades, but it is given a flint of serious consideration by a combination of utter bias and hatred of Christianity, a delight in bashing and mocking Christian doctrine and beliefs and a media ever ready to jump in that bashing. Add to all of this the lure of profit, attention and hoisted relevancy and you have the makings of a very attractive devilish dessert indeed.

Conclusion

A number of years ago James Cameron twisted human suffering, sacrifice, bravery and tragedy into a money-making and attention-earning ego trip. Now, this same filmmaker is attempting to twist the greatest story of love, sacrifice, service and truth into yet another adventure in greed, ego and personal agenda. This self-proclaimed "king of the world" now dares to confront the Eternal King of The Universe. Just as those who built the mighty sailing fortress Titanic thought it indestructible and immune from universal accountability only to receive a dire lesson, so too this Hollywood imbecile will likewise reap what he sows.

"For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" (St. Mark 8: 36-37).

I would hope Mr. Cameron and his associates would realize the absolute truth of those words above by the One Who could not possibly be in the "lost tomb" for He has risen as He said and ascended into Heaven, seated at the right hand of the Father, and from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. That is dogma and Catholic truth that can never be denied, though those agents of the devil have done their best. Think about it, Mr. Cameron, for you will be judged by the very One you seek to negate.

The problems of doubt are not with those who know and love Jesus, but the lukewarm who will fall for anything because they stand for nothing. Let them be forewarned that that Cameron's The Lost Tomb of Jesus can best be described by another of his films: True Lies.
