In Second Thessalonians Chapter 2, St. Paul, who gained divine knowledge of the future as a result of his rapture to the 3rd Heaven (2 Corinthians 12:2), gives a most clear and severe warning for those living in the end times, that is, for us.
In a manner most befitting his role as the great Doctor of the Gentiles, he succinctly sums up what will happen by stating that the "operation of error" (2 Thessalonians 2:10) will be given to certain individuals as punishment. This operation of error is Modernism, condemned by Pope St. Pius X as the "synthesis of all heresies". (Encyclical Pascendi)
What I wish to focus on here is that St. Paul states clearly the all-important reason why the operation of error will be rampant, and who will be infected and destroyed by it.
"That all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity" (2 Thessalonians 2:11)
The key word here is "consented". It is elementary Catholic teaching that one may become guilty of a sin by consenting to iniquity as well as by actual committing it.
Let us apply this doctrine to those who believe themselves to be true Catholics and yet attend the so-called "Indult Mass".
What is the condition given for permission to attend an "Indult Mass"? One must consent to Vatican II and the "New Mass" and recognize the claims to Catholic authority of those responsible for it.
The problem is that Vatican II, which contained absolute heresy in its documents, and the "New Mass", which is sacrilegious and invalid, are iniquitous. And so are the Modernist monsters who have foisted their new religion upon the Catholic world. And so are the rotten fruits all but the grossly blind see all around.
That so many who call themselves Catholic fail, or even refuse, to see that the rotten fruits of Vatican II must have come from a rotten tree, and rather consent to them, is simply proof that the punishment is already upon them, that they are already involved in the "operation of error to believe lying"! (2 Thessalonians 2:10)
Such as these will no doubt follow Antichrist when he comes. That is the clear teaching of St. Paul.
If you, the reader, are one of those who thinks salvation can be had while consenting in any way to the iniquitous new religion which blasphemously claims the name of "Catholic", then you are sadly lacking in grace.
The remedy? For starters, you need to start praying the daily Rosary as Our Lady of Fatima asked, and beg that your eyes be opened before the blind leaders you are following lead you into the pit (cf. Matthew 15:14).
I will never consent to the iniquitous new religion. By God's grace, I will always adhere to the one true Catholic religion founded by Jesus Christ our Lord, outside of which no one at all can be saved.
After all, I want to go to Heaven.
"Remember you not, that when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now you know what withholdeth, that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity already worketh: only that he who now holdeth, do hold, until he be taken out of the way. And then that wicked one shall be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: his whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders. And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish: because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe a lie. That all may be judged, who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity."
