Gabriel's Clarion "Qui legit, intelligat" In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Eighth Sunday After Pentecost, he emphasizes that we sow what we reap and in the case of laws that go against God's Commandments and the Natural Law, we have sown chaos for God withdraws His graces from those who persist in neglecting His will.Father shows that we are in the mess we are in - in all aspects of life - our homes, church and society - because we have not been vigilant and stood for Christ. It is more evidence that the Supreme Court is in no way supreme but rather very vulgar in more ways than one and an aberration to not only God Himself, but all those who upheld His laws prior to the judicial tyranny and ecclesial rebellion that have so ravaged civilization over the past 30 to 40 years. The same goes for the usurpers who have hijacked the Church. The key is exactly what Paul speaks of in today's Epistle - to conquer the flesh for from the flesh come a multitude of sins. Look at the scandals and lack of fruits today for proof of this. As Jesus highlights in today's Gospel, "give an account of thy stewardship" and that accounting cannot be hidden when judgment time is nigh. Yet rather than taking this divine advice to heart, this disobedient generation seem to be far 'wiser' than the children of light. It brings into focus Our Lord's haunting words completing today's Gospel to make friends of mammon when one has persistently been disobedient to God. In other words, even the all-merciful and loving Son of God has said that those who reject Him and His teaching are worthy of the fate of destitution and destruction, for only through His True Church is their salvation. Those who do not grasp that, who think they have a better idea - be they 'shepherds' in the conciliar church, judges and politicians in government, or ostriches in society who refuse to recognize the truth, they are all part and parcel of The Disobedient Generation Traditional Thoughts Father Yves le Roux, rector of St. Thomas Seminary for the Society of St. Pius X in Winona, Minnesota, weighs in with a brief meditation on trust in God and how easy it is to submit to the taunts of the evil one that God is not there, that He is too busy for caring, or that one can do everything without his hope. All this is built on the devil's hope that one will despair and abandon the path of holiness. That is what satan is counting on. The basic truth is that only by trusting totally in God can we fend off the fiery arrows of the satanic archer that constantly peppers hearts and souls into thinking they can achieve holiness on their own. Father explains in his letter "To Be Sure of God as of a Family Friend" THE STRAIGHT STUFF Griff Ruby, heats up the oven of traditional kibitzing by reminding us all of our need to not get too close to the flames. Traditional Catholics have a tendency to do a slow burn over the way they were deceived, but Griff says it will do no good to resent it for we'll be turned into worthless pretzels, twisting in the winds of regret and bitterness. Rather, we should be happy we have finally realized the Perfect Banquet is the infrangible Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as infallibly decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope St. Pius V in ratifying the infallible, dogmatic decrees of Trent and seek to bring more to this same necessary ideal for salvation. Our Lord asserts in Matthew 5: 13 that as traditional Catholics we should be the salt of the earth, but if that salt lose its savor it is worth nothing. So also if we tie ourselves up in knots worrying over what this conciliar 'bishop' did or that Novus Ordinarian believes then we become agitated and salt-less twisted dough good for nothing but being ground into meal for the vultures of vice. If we do nothing but point fingers, we get twisted into narrow-thinking Pharisaec pretzels. Ouch! Griff explains why it does no good to go off half-baked in his column Lose the Attitude Fiat Voluntas Dei Timothy Duff, long considered an expert on The Mystical City of God by Venerable Mary of Jesus of Agreda, continues his series on her Heavenly work in which Our Lord and His Blessed Mother imparted to this simple, humble and very obedient nun over 2500 handwritten pages on the definitive work that best explains the life of the Mother of God - the Blessed Virgin Mary and much about her Divine Son Jesus Christ. Tim reasserts Fr. Blatter - the English translator's words - "Read and be convinced!" That, as Tim points out, is the proof of the pudding for outside of Sacred Scripture, nothing is more detailed or devout than this four-volume masterpiece of meditation of what God the Father wanted mankind to know now. In his fifth installment, reprinted from 1994, Tim emphasizes and cites examples of how it perfectly harmonizes with the traditional liturgy of Holy Mother Church, the Councils, Saints and papal decrees and how it unlocks so many answers previously hidden and how it reveals the mysteries of Apocalypse 21: 2 as Tim explains and documents in Part Five of his series Mystica Civitate Dei The Excellence of The Mystical City of God Traditional Insights As part of our "gems from the past" series in order for the reader to be refreshed on all the pertinent points Mario first presented a year ago, we are rerunning for the summer mode issues his excellent series on "The Truth About Ecumenism" as he meticulously analyzes a powerful encyclical on ecumenism; not Ut unum sint but rather Mortalium animos, the no nonsense Papal encyclical by Pope Pius XI who warned against the very insanity that has run wild over the past several decades and grows worse by the year, by the month. With John Paul II now passed into history, the ecumania is continuing with Benedict XVI and therefore it is vital to bring the evil of ecumenism to light. In this last installment which he ran last year Mario gets to the heart of His Holiness' message: one must accept all that the Church teaches without exception for dogma must be believed. There is no room for discussion or opinion. Roma locutus est. Mario also pinpoints where Pius XI emphasized that dialogue is the wrong path and leads not to conversion but to compromise. Ergo, the agenda announced by John XXIII, furthered by Paul VI and John Paul II and now Benedict XVI, is heresy which denies the True Faith, outside of which there is no salvation. Again Mario repeats one is either fully Catholic or not Catholic at all. There is no middle ground! The equation adds up to zero fruits from Vatican II, ripe with heresy. Next week Mario provides a brand new sixth installment in this series as today we complete the "gems from the past" series on An Analysis of the Encyclical Mortalium Animos and other true Catholic Teaching on Religious Unity with part five Ecumenism & Modernism Making Sense of Sensus Catholicus Father James F. Wathen, the pioneering traditional author of The Great Sacrilege, cites the Epistle for the Feast of the Most Precious Blood to illustrate how the New Testament is superior to the Old in the manner and essence of sacrifice, for all worship necessitates a sacrifice of blood and, while animal sacrifice was accepted in the Old Covenant, the New Covenant necessitates but one sacrifice. That is the memorial of the ultimate sacrifice given by the Divine Son to the Eternal Father by shedding every drop of His Most Precious Blood for all mankind as a "laver of redemption." Only by washing our sins in His Most Precious Blood can we be cleansed, and ultimately saved by adhering to His truths revealed to the Church He founded. Non-Catholics do not understand the vital, life-saving and infinite meaning of this and because of that, they have misconceptions about and antipathy for Catholics because, in truth, Catholic worship is what Our Lord established and only by "doing this in memory of Me" - "Haec quotiescumque feceritas, in Mei memoriam facietis" is the Immemorial Sacrifice for all ages perpetuated and pleasing to the Father. That is what is meant by the "laver of redemption." As usual we are grateful to Maria Hughes for sending Father's latest essay titled The Precious Blood of Christ Gabriel's Clarion Gabriel Garnica exposes how the New Order twists things to carry things beyond their regular conclusions to include syllogisms that are not possible. The French Revolution of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity greased the slippery slope, and, thanks to pushing the envelope with every generation since, today thinking has been so distorted that the New Order equates the idiom that "intimacy is only possible between equals" with the nonsensical conclusion that man is equal to God. There is no other way to describe this rubbish than heresy as Gabriel points out the difference between human intimacy, necessary in holy matrimony, and sacred intimacy with God which throws the equation of equality out the window. He explains in his column The Secular Myth of Intimacy and Equality "Qui legit, intelligat" In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Seventh Sunday After Pentecost, he rails against those who dismiss conspiracy theories as far-fetched and fabricated. He cites the words of David the Psalmist in Psalm 2: 1-3 as proof that the one who conspired to coerce Eve into disobeying God and consequently involving Adam, is the same who conspires today to make society ever more godless and depraved. It is only common sense that to carry off this massive conspiracy against God and His creatures of free will, the master conspirator had to somehow infiltrate God's Holy Church and corrupt it. Father points out the sewage that has spewed since the door was opened on January 25, 1959 by John XXIII and all that has followed as the Trojan Horse, teeming with demons, was pulled into the Holy See and her enemies craftily snuck into position, so insidiously that few could tell friend from foe and that was the devil's master plan, not only to control the world by diminishing his own existence in their midst but by propagating his non serviam mentality on men who should know better and who have become what Paul warned of in Galatians 1: 8-12 and 5: 17-21. Now, as Father points out, we can see the 'fruits' of the bad trees which our Lord speaks of in today's Gospel with the devastation wrought from Canada to western Europe to the USA, and it will only get worse unless we recognize there truly is a conspiracy and that it is no myth. Satan holds the world in his hands for he is the prince of the world, because mankind has not recognized Who we owe full allegiance to for, as Christ has said, His kingdom is not of this world; neither should we strive for things of the world, the flesh or the devil - all bad trees destined for the eternal fire; for if we do opt for the bad trees we too will be Cut Off from the Land of the Living FOCUS With his blessings, in this issue as we head into the July Fourth weekend, we bring you a guest commentary by Phil Brennan, the witty and wise columnist inside and outside the Beltway with New York roots who plumbs those roots back to the days when our nation was just evolving, growing, struggling in its youth. Today, he laments that she and all of society, as well as the Church, are going through the troublesome teen era when so many and so much is in rebellion against the tried and true and the moral values, principles and sacrifices passed down by previous generations. He wisps nostalgically for what we have lost as his octogenarian milestone grows closer and he ponders his upcoming last birthday in the time of septuagesima by remembering when memories waft up like the candles on a cake; the spark of hope evaporating into thin air unless one holds moral values, principles, and sacrifices precious and worth fighting for. Phil takes us back in his column Old enough to remember...a whole lot of stuff Fiat Voluntas Dei Timothy Duff, long considered an expert on The Mystical City of God by Venerable Mary of Jesus of Agreda, continues his series on her Heavenly work in which Our Lord and His Blessed Mother imparted to this simple, humble and very obedient nun over 2500 handwritten pages on the definitive work that best explains the life of the Mother of God - the Blessed Virgin Mary and much about her Divine Son Jesus Christ. Outside of Sacred Scripture, nothing is more detailed or devout than this four-volume masterpiece of meditation of what God the Father wanted mankind to know now. In this issue, reprinted from 1994, Tim shows why this work is so important, chiefly because of who the author truly is. It is no work of fiction, no imagination of a simple nun, but the very words coming from the one who lived as the Mystical Rose, the Tower of Ivory, the Ark of the Covenant - the Blessed Mother herself as Tim explains and documents in Part Four of his series Mystica Civitate Dei The Excellence of The Mystical City of God
Griff Ruby's Excerpts Traditional Insights As part of our "gems from the past" series in order for the reader to be refreshed on all the pertinent points Mario first presented a year ago, we are rerunning for the summer mode issues his excellent series on "The Truth About Ecumenism" as he meticulously analyzes a powerful encyclical on ecumenism; not Ut unum sint but rather Mortalium animos, the no nonsense Papal encyclical by Pope Pius XI who warned against the very insanity that has run wild over the past several decades and grows worse by the year, by the month. With John Paul II now passed into history, the ecumania is continuing with Benedict XVI and therefore it is vital to bring the evil of ecumenism to light. It is so refreshing to see the clear, concise words of His Holiness Pope Pius XI reconfirming Catholic truth which has been so twisted today to accommodate Protestants and those preferring a Catholic-lite faith that refuses to adhere to the full truths for fear of offending man. One is either fully Catholic or not Catholic at all. There is no middle ground, contrary to what we have been led to believe since Vatican II. Mario explains in his fourth installment on An Analysis of the Encyclical Mortalium Animos and other true Catholic Teaching on Religious Unity with part four All or Nothing Making Sense of Sensus Catholicus Father James F. Wathen, the pioneering traditional author of The Great Sacrilege, provides tremendous food for thought from Christ's words in Matthew 5: 23-24 regarding forgiveness and the gravity of fomenting anger within one's heart. Father points out how dangerous it is to be angry with one's brother and think one can love God. It is not possible as Our Lord says that before one can approach the Altar for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, one must make amends with anyone who they are at odds with. That is why the words of the Daily Act of Charity are so important, "I forgive all who have injured me and I ask pardon of all whom I have injured." Not to forgive and seek forgiveness, as Our Lord has said can "be in danger of hell fire" for if one harbors hate in their heart then when they receive the Infinite Love of Christ in Holy Communion they are insulting God and He will not be mocked. Father delineates the lengths each person must go to make reparation for any injury we may have inflicted on thy brother. Brother here means any one, not just blood relative but the brothers and sisters in Christ. We must have a pure heart and that translates to being reconciled with our neighbor - the second of the two greatest Commandments, if we are to truly fulfill the first of these greatest Commandments: Loving God with our whole heart, mind and soul. As usual we are grateful to Maria Hughes for sending Father's latest essay titled Dispositions of Worship Gabriel's Clarion Gabriel Garnica prepares this week for the important feasts of Sts. Peter and Paul and the Most Precious Blood by pointing to the difference between Secular Conquest and Divine Conquest. The difference is as wide as the chasm between Gehenna and Heaven; just as is the difference between the New Order Church (or conciliar church) and the True Catholic Church as Gabriel shows for if we are not willing to stand and fight, than we are not worthy to be called Soldiers of Christ. While the world seeks conquests in all facets, they miss the real conquest made 2000 years ago when Christ conquered death and sin by shedding His Most Precious Blood on the Cross. To forget that is to surrender everything! Gabriel explains the obvious differences and the overwhelming infrangible truths of Divine Conquest that have sustained saints and sinners in the Communion of Saints for two millennium in his column Of Conquest and Martyrdom "Qui legit, intelligat" In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Sixth Sunday After Pentecost, he reminds again and again that the New Covenant has replaced the Old and, contrary to modernist conciliarists or Zionist and evangelical thinking, the Old is dead with the exception of the Ten Commandments revealed to Moses; those will always apply. Today, as Father points out, mankind has rejected not only those precepts, but Christ Himself, being so bold as to deny the divinity of the Second Person of the Trinity. Oh, won't they be surprised when they stand before the One Whom they have denied? Father assures that those who do believe cannot just sit by and say they believe, but must show they are His disciples by taking up their crosses daily and not being afraid to stick their necks out for Our Lord and His Truths, even if it means martyrdom. He reaffirms that while we may not live to see the glorious restoration of the Roman Catholic Church, what we do as faithful Traditional Catholics in uncompromisingly upholding the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church and perpetuating the Immemorial propitiatory Holy Sacrifice of the Mass of All Ages will go far in bringing about that glorious day just as the Apostles and early holy Martyrs faithfully believed that the Church would prosper, yet never lived to see it. Faith, Trust and Obedience to Christ and His True Church will make that day we stand before our Eternal Judge that much better and surer of eternal salvation. Father explains in his sermon Making or Breaking the Covenant FOCUS In this issue we bring you a guest editorial in which Kevin Tierney focuses on the smoking issue which has clouded many a mind and stirred vigorous emotions on both sides. While the PC Police do all they can to tolerate every sin possible and make smoking the only sin against society, the Church, contrary to New Order parsimony, does not see it the same way. The Fish is a symbol of Christians. Therefore we have posted a fish smoking a cigarette to illustrate Kevin's point that tobacco is not sinful, only in its excess and abuse could it be sinful just as many other items are not sinful per se, yet modern society is quick to condemn while not only giving a pass to, but encouraging abortion and sodomy. In fact, smokers and Traditional Catholics have more in common than one might think since both are shunned and forced to find out-of-the- way areas to continue their practice. Contrary to popular thinking, God does love smokers. In fact, before Vatican II 7 out of 10 priests smoked. Today 7 out of 10 don't believe in the True Presence. Which is worse? Kevin provides the moral theology in his musings on smoking and morals in Smoke 'em if you got 'em Fiat Voluntas Dei Timothy Duff, long considered an expert on The Mystical City of God by Venerable Mary of Jesus of Agreda, continues his series on her Heavenly work in which Our Lord and His Blessed Mother imparted to this simple, humble and very obedient nun over 2500 handwritten pages on the life of Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Outside of Sacred Scripture, nothing is more detailed or devout than this four-volume tome of meditation of what God the Father wanted mankind to know now. in this issue, reprinted from 1994, Tim illustrates the excellence of this work in relating how, while the Bible is the Word of God and the Gospel the Life of Christ, The Mystical City of God is the Life of the Blessed Virgin Mary so thoroughly composed by Heaven to Venerable Mary of Agreda in 2600 pages as Time explains in Part Three of his series Mystica Civitate Dei The Excellence of The Mystical City of God THE STRAIGHT STUFF Griff Ruby, turns his attention to some of the controversy being stirred up within the traditional movement these days and sets many at peace that if men who claim to be priests were properly prepared, observe what was passed down and set in stone at Trent, and willingly submitted to their supervisors to prove their mettle, then we can be reasonably sure they can not only be trusted but must be trusted with caring for souls. Griff points out what Our Lord affirmed that while many are called, only a few are chosen. He equates this to being chosen a valid successor of the Apostles. While some may question the episcopal validity of some priests, by their fruits you shall know those who entered by the door Christ has opened or if they are thieves and robbers scaling the walls and intruding the sacerdotal ranks unworthily. A great majority of the Novus Ordo clergy have entered thus thanks to the abandonment of true Holy Orders after Lumen Gentium paved the way for Paul VI to think he could change the essence of the sacraments. He summarily eliminated the necessary steps to the priesthood, opening a gaping hole in the ramparts of Holy Mother Church for intruders to invade. The Traditional movement seeks to patch those holes by insisting on maintaining the tried and true standards and preparation for the priesthood so that true bishops will proceed and the Faith preserved. Traditional Catholics continue to keep watch at the door where, for a priest to be true, he must enter. Griff explains in his column Standards Still Apply Traditional Insights As part of our "gems from the past" we continue Mario Derksen's important series first presented a year ago and as pertinent today as then, if not more so. Thus, in order for the reader to be refreshed on all the pertinent points Mario first presented, we are rerunning for the summer mode issues of his excellent series on "The Truth About Ecumenism" as he meticulously analyzes a powerful encyclical on ecumenism; not Ut unum sint but rather Mortalium animos, the no nonsense Papal encyclical by Pope Pius XI who warned against the very insanity that has run wild over the past several decades and grows worse by the year, by the month. With John Paul II now passed into history, the ecumania is continuing with Benedict XVI and therefore it is vital to bring the evil of ecumenism to light; especially in light of all the bafflegab and ecumania streaming out of modern Rome, His Holiness Pope Pius XI's words ring truer than ever for he warned back in 1928 against the very insanity that has run wild over the past several decades and grows worse by the year, by the month, by the day. Mario provides the proof that ecumenism is not just a grave error, but an anathema which, in effect, is apostasy pure and simple for it denies the infallible truths that the Catholic Church is the only true Ark of Salvation. Mario shows how Pius affirms the mandatory dogma of Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus, and how today the modernists deny it as he provides the third installment of his series, titling this one The Necessity to be Catholic Christ or chaos We must share with you Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey's excellent meditation on yesterday's saint - the holy and chaste seminarian Saint Aloysius Gonzaga - who was taken by God before ordination but whose life was offered for others, particularly in his fiat to Our Lord and Our Lady to help others even in exposing himself to the diseases of the Bubonic Plague. Tom shares insights on how much this holy Patron of the Youth loved Our Lord, present in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, and how he made reparation for sin his goal in life personally guided by the greatest spiritual saints of his day - St. Charles Borromeo and St. Robert Bellarmine. Tom shares how he was influenced by the heroic virtue of St. Aloysius and what the great theologian and literary giant of the Church Dom Prosper Gueranger wrote about the holy Gonzaga.Tom wisely concludes the folly and futility of the endless 'education' programs in the conciliar church today for all we need do is look to the example of men like St. Aloysius to realize the model of youth that edifies purity and modesty for all the youth of today. In other words, why poison the youth with World Youth Days. Tell them to stay home, save their money and attend exclusively the Traditional Latin Mass and you will see a change in both attitude and spiritual prosperity. It is so simple as the young Gonzaga exemplified for all young men and St. Therese of Lisieux for young ladies. Tom explains in his column Saint Aloysius: Lover of the Eucharist Transition to Tradition Editor Michael Cain chooses the feastday of the holy and pure seminarian St. Aloysius Gonzaga, which is also the very first day of summer, to speak of something rarely spoken of today - at least by the conciliar church - and that is modesty. Cain reminds readers of Our Lady's words to the children at Fatima about the sins of the flesh. He reaches back to some excellent guidelines drawn up in the late 40's and early 50's by a group of truly Catholic bishops headed by Samuel Cardinal Stritch of Chicago. Their counsel is even more applicable today and Cain updates it to cover what is uncovered literally today. Cain emphasizes why modesty is a virtue that must be practiced. Yet, sadly, today this is a lost art, lost on so many that beauty is not skin to be shown, but much deeper and sacred for the beauty of modesty grows more beautiful when hidden beneath proper, decent attire. This beauty is special and private, meant to be seen only by those God deigns proper - themselves and their spouses - no one else for true beauty grows more beautiful when acknowledging the sacredness of the human body made in God's image and likeness: temples of the Holy Ghost that must be guarded, nurtured and covered. Today that balance is greatly threatened by the severe threat of the devil who never rests. This is never more prominent than in the summer when the heat is turned up in every way and those heading for the beach need to realize for their own salvation and others that they must Beware and Beach the Bare Wear! Gabriel's Clarion Gabriel Garnica addresses an issue which shows the hypocrisy of the pro-aborts who are the first to clamor for causes that supposedly are worthwhile on the surface, but beneath are nothing but a diversion for perversion. Such is the campaign to help Breast Cancer victims with endless Walks and Pink Ribbons. But bring up the facts that abortion causes breast cancer and you will be summarily dismissed for they don't want to acknowledge such truths for it would hamper not only their cause but the money trough these organizations rake in. Gabriel also treats a growing evil that presently is burgeoning in the Ukraine and will eventually spread to western Europe and North America and that is capitalizing on aborted embryos for cosmetics. The irony is not lost on Gabriel as he points out that good skin and less wrinkles won't do one much good against the inexplicable heat of hellfire. But man today has blindly embraced amorality because 'everyone is doing it' and therefore they selfishly try to justify these aberrations by touting breakthroughs that will make life easier and more pleasurable for man - the very same homo sapiens with a free will who was clearly told by Christ that unless he took up his cross daily, he could not be the Lord's disciple and therefore not eligible for the ultimate reward. But crosses and sufferings are weaknesses today and the great culture of death civilization wants no part of that. Gabriel explains why cures, causes and cosmetics won't get souls into Heaven because these modern pharisees are Walking and Talking in Vain Christ or chaos Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey weighs in on the results of the autopsy results on Theresa Marie Kathleen Schindler-Schiavo released last week. He reaches the obvious conclusion that most knew in their heart: it is absolutely irrelevant for the bare facts are that she was murdered in plain sight before the world, trying to justify this barbaric act that has only greased civilization's slippery slope towards the abyss. Tom acknowledges that this evil cannot be abated until Eternal Rome returns to retake her rightful place in society as the moral and spiritual authority in all things, beginning with the Immemorial Mass of Tradition said exclusively which, as Father Campbell pointed out yesterday, is the sole means of salvation. But salvation is the furthest thing from the minds of those who foster the culture of death and the Schiavo case could open the Pandora's Box for the fate of countless other disabled people who, though able to live and strive for Heaven in accepting whatever cross they have been given, will become a 'nuisance' to the rest of the mindless, selfish and clueless souls who have been so blinded by the evil one that they will approve of methods to remove 'unsuitable' souls from the face of the earth without blinking an eye. Dr. Droleskey emphasizes that no matter what condition one is in physically, it is the spiritual health that one must be concerned with and those advocating mercy killing - well, may God have mercy on their souls for their ignorance - if, indeed, they really don't know what they are doing. Then, of course, if they don't, well they are more handicapped than those who society looks down upon and need our prayers. Tom explains in his column Completely and Totally Irrelevant "Qui legit, intelligat" In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Fifth Sunday After Pentecost, he re-emphasizes that only in placing ourselves in the bosom of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and adhering to Him and His truths through the only means of atonement for our sins and the world's - the propitiatory Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the divinely ordained Mass of All Ages, the Mass which Father Frederick Faber called "the most beautiful thing this side of Heaven," can we achieve life everlasting. But, as Fr. Faber and Fr. Campbell point out, alas, heresy has had its moment and one reason satan has infiltrated so many is because we have not loved God enough to stand up for His truths. We have betrayed Him by not exposing the errors and calumny committed against Him and His Holy Mystical Bride - His Church, especially over the last 40 years in which the apostasy has greatly wounded His Most Sacred and Merciful Heart and His Blessed Mother's Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart. Father cites the human and divine natures in Christ and though His divine nature could eliminate all the heresy in the world in a split second, the free will of human nature dictates that man, in unison with God's will, work out his salvation through the means afforded to him by Christ and passed down from His chosen Apostles for the true chosen people of today - those specific multitudes Father identifies in the Book of Apocalypse. To achieve this crown we must not only be concerned for our own soul, but for the souls of our brothers and sisters and do all in our power to express these infrangible Catholic truths. That is the charitable and Catholic way. Yes, the truth hurts and should hurt for the more we hurt the more we long for God and His truths. It is the comforts of this world that keep us from turning our backs on the world and yearning only for Heaven. We must strive, as Father points out, to strive to agitate souls away from sin and towards virtue. That is the essence of Charitable Truths HOT ISSUES Editor Michael Cain hammers home the obvious point that problems with the conciliar church start at the very top and yet so many of the Novus Ordo persuasion are blinded by the mirrors of Benedict XVI's brilliance in doing the false-step shuffle. While the U.S. prelates are learning their lines for the 'Razzle-dazzle 'em' routine in Chicago, BeneRatz is doing the back-track shuffle for fear of the goose-step shuffle preempting the latter. Can't disappoint the enemies of Christ. We must work towards a One World Order no matter the cost to souls. Persecute the Traditionalists while schmoozing with the World Council of Churches. Congratulate the Buddhists, Hindus, Anglicans, Moslems and all other heathens as long as they're humanistically aware of social action, but don't you dare attend the Immemorial Mass of All Ages! Hold the presses, no beatification for you, Pere Dehon, you weren't nice to the Zionists. Alter doctrine and compromise truth for the sake of the "unity of community!" It's "Forward, march!" Into the valley of everlasting death! What are we going to do to stop this genocide of souls? Plenty! Speak out is the first step for contrary to conciliar thought, we are not beholden to the Jews, Protestants, Hindus, or any other religion or human interest group for lasting peace and eternal salvation. Only in Jesus Christ and the True Church He founded as the sole means to Heaven. Cain asks when are the rest going to wise up and no longer take the rot coming out of modern Rome? When are they going to rise up and cast out the heresy that has darkened the Church since Vatican II? When are they going to bail out from the march into hell and say with all conviction to satan and his minions: "Hell, no we will not go with you, but with Christ Who alone has the words of eternal life!" Cain shares the Good News and Bad News: June 2005 Doctors of the Church Today being the Traditional Feast of the holy Deacon Saint Ephrem the Syrian, we present another "gems from the past" for our summer series in featuring this holy Doctor of the Church chronologically and first run in The Daily Catholic in April of 2002. St. Ephrem was a man beloved by his people and known as the "Harp of the Holy Ghost" and a deacon who combatted heretical sects and Roman emperors, not by raising his voice in anger, but through Syriac poetry which he composed. He was also known as the "Column of the Church" and the "Sun of the Syrians" bringing the Light of Christ to his flocks. We bring you in this "Week of Three Doctors of the Church," the second chronological designated Doctor on the Double Feast of Saint Ephrem the Syrian. Fiat Voluntas Dei Timothy Duff, long considered an expert on The Mystical City of God by Venerable Mary of Jesus of Agreda, continues his series on her Heavenly work in which Our Lord and His Blessed Mother imparted to this simple, humble and very obedient nun over 2500 handwritten pages on the life of Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Outside of Sacred Scripture, nothing is more detailed or devout than this four-volume tome of meditation of what God the Father wanted mankind to know now. Today, Tim explains how the confusion over Papal approval still consternates the faithful today mainly because through all the years when Roman Pontiffs specifically condoned and encouraged its reading, even one Pope reading the entire four volumes himself before enthusiastically encouraging the faithful, the problem and confusion all goes back to French scholars who mistranslated it when transfering it into the vernacular - or vulgar - language. Tim shows how we can blame it on the French for the Translator is the traitor as he shows in Part Two of his series Mystica Civitate Dei In Defense of The Mystical City of God Griff Ruby's Excerpts In addition to his "Straight Stuff" columns, Griff Ruby is providing the reader with excerpts from his excellent book The Resurrection of the Roman Catholic Church. Today he points to an excerpt from Chapter Two in which he equates what Holy Writ says about the persecution of Christ and His Mystical Body all over again. Griff points out that all the Council from Nicaea through Vatican I "had been expressions of Christ to His Church and also the World. Vatican II on the other hand put Christ and His Church on trial before the Court of the World." We can all see the 'fruits' of that folly 40 years later. Barren, rotting fruits and despite all the dialoguing few have been converted and worse, Catholics are abandoning their Faith in droves. Griff lays out the fall-out only too clearly right up front and then proceeds to explain how this happened and how Christ is being persecuted all over again as he brings an excerpt from Chapter Two of his book What the Bible has to say about the current crisis Traditional Insights As part of our "gems from the past" we continue Mario Derksen's important series first presented a year ago and as pertinent today as then, if not more so. With John Paul II now passed into history, the ecumania is continuing with Benedict XVI and therefore it is vital to bring the evil of ecumenism to light as Mario provides the proof that ecumenism is not just a grave error, but an anathema which, in effect, is apostasy pure and simple for it denies the ineffable truths of the One True Church, denies the primary dogma of Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus, and denies Christ's command in the Scriptures. We continue Mario's series on An Analysis of the Encyclical Mortalium Animos and other true Catholic Teaching on Religious Unity with part two Allurements and Temptations Doctors of the Church Today being the Traditional Feast of the holy and sage Saint Basil the Great, we present back-to-back "gems from the past" for our summer series in featuring this sixth Doctor of the Church chronologically and first run in The Daily Catholic in May of 2002. Now here was a bishop who truly was great! He was another outstanding saint from the 4th century who faced the intense persecutions and calumnies of the Arian bishops and suffered greatly, never complaining and living a life of austerity while his fellow Arian bishops lived high on the hog. Sound familiar? Like his good life-long friend and fellow Doctor of the Church St. Gregory Nazianzen, he,too, came from holy stock and had two brothers who became bishops, a father, mother and sister who became saints. This Bishop of Caesarea, considered the "Orator of Orthodoxy" who we feature on the greater Double Feast of Saint Basil the Great. Catholic PewPOINT Editor Michael Cain weighs in on what's at stake this week in Chicago where the New Order conciliarist prelates are meeting at the plush Fairmont Hotel overlooking Lakeshore Drive and Lake Michigan. If they stroll out on the Navy Pier they just might see their reflections, but will they really see themselves as they are? Cain provides reasons why they won't and why mirrors for every one of the prelates is in order. If they don't see what's really going on soon, they may not see themselves for who they really are - those whom Our Lord will say "Depart from Me for I never knew you." What would today's Saint Basil the Great say of these modern novus Arian bishops? I think we all know the answer to that. If only these modern ones would realize the folly of what they are doing and where they are really heading for while they wrestle with temporal matters, their spiritual welfare hangs by a thread. Maybe in the light of the conference room and a mirror for each of them, they'll not only see how thin that thread is, but what they have become. Cain's commentary is an effort to help these apostate aliens out of their 40-year slumber before it is too late for themselves and their flocks because, thankfully, the foundations of their counterfeit conciliar church are crumbling. Cain explains in his editorial It's Reflection Time! Doctors of the Church Today being the universal Feast of the holy Franciscan Saint Anthony of Padua, we present, in our summer series "gems from the past," our feature on this twenty-first Doctor of the Church first run in February of 2003. Blessed Anthony was a man who was not blessed with good health, but turned that weakness into one of his greatest strengths. He was a holy priest who truly understand the meaning of Crusade and conquered many to Christ not through the sword, but through his eloquent speech, miracles and humility. He sought the crown of martyrdom, but was rewarded instead with the miraculous phenomenon of having the Child Jesus visit him, rest in his arms to encourage and pray with this beloved Franciscan whose preaching and odor of sanctity converted countless souls to the Faith. There is so much to emulate in the holy Saint Anthony of Padua. Gabriel's Clarion Gabriel Garnica sounds the clarion to be on guard for the warning signals from modern Rome for there could very well be a liberal feminist calling the shots behind the scenes. They say behind every great man is a powerful woman and that is what Ingrid Stamping has been called - powerful and she relishes the power. An aid and close confidante to Ratzinger for nearly 15 years, some are comparing her to Karen Hughes in Bush's White House or worse, another Hillary Clinton. Considering Stamping's progressivist leanings and associations, many are worried that this woman is not done in her power-mongering. Some fear a popess lurks behind the smiling face of 55-year-old Stamping. Another aberration is that some even dare to compare Stamping to the holy Catherine of Siena which, as Gabriel points out, can only be the design of the devil for there are definitely storm clouds on the horizon and many problems ahead as a clash of cultures is inevitable with Benedict's right-hand man - erh, woman - raising many eyebrows as the first ever woman to hold such a powerful non-elected position in the Vatican. Can you say Hillary? Gabriel explains the repercussions in his column The Scent of a Dangerous Woman mindless miters We share some excellent insight from Gary L. Morella, who provides commentary on a report from LifeSiteNews.com last week in which an avowed sodomite pol Bill Siksay had the nerve to question Catholic truth and what is even worse, the one supposedly representing those absolutes - Calgary's 'Bishop' Fred Henry - gave such a weak-kneed response that St. John Fisher would have vomited him out of his mouth just as Our Lord treats the lukewarm in Apocalypse 3: 15-16. Gary applies the wisdom of the Angelic Doctor St. Thomas Aquinas to a situation that badly needs it. Calgary's Henry has been touted as Canada's 'best bishop' for he is one of the few who has consistently spoken out against abortion and sodomy, and yet he is reeling just like all the other conciliar 'bishops' as the liberal antagonists within the Canadian Parliament maneuver to elevate the unnatural hideous sins of abortion and sodomy to a natural right and any one speaking out against these evils will have hell to pay to the state north of the border. Perhaps it is that God is allowing such aberration because the presbyters and 'bishops' have compromised so much in abandoning the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church, beginning with the Immemorial Mass of Tradition. Gary illustrates the bitter 'fruits' of the conciliarists for abdicating their authority and recognizing godless organizations like the UN or the State which has usurped God and His Laws. The cancer is almost totally metastasized in Canada, now it spreads south to the vulnerable legislative and judicial chambers in the United States which are already in the throes of corruption. Just as Our Lady said at Fatima, only Prayer, Penance and Reparation will save the countless lost souls mesmerized by the world, the flesh and the devil because the safeguards always provided by the Church until Vatican II have been compromised and, even worse, abandoned. Gary gets to the point in his essay we have titled O Canada, Poor Canada! "Qui legit, intelligat" In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Fourth Sunday After Pentecost, he speaks of today's Gospel and points to the very difference between those 'caught in Peter's net' - those souls who have been landed for Christ by true 'fishers of men' - and those who refuse to listen to the Word of God and swim in their own current of thought where they create torrents of agitation and upset the schools of men, mucking up the waters so much that the True Barque of Peter, sailing the waters of the world and trolling the inviting 'net of salvation' for all to see the infallible truths of the perennial Magisterium of the Church, has been attacked by the barnacles of false doctrine on the surface while beneath the sharks of compromise and dialogue have gnawed away at the webbing of the net, causing more souls to be loosened from the salvific netting and doomed to the denizens of the deep - bait for lucifer and his legions. Father points out how one who should be scoping the waters to make sure the predators are kept at a safe distance, has instead allowed the prey to weaken the hull and sabotage the nets through the obvious contradictions of conciliar 'popes' and now Benedict XVI's own heresy, which is obvious in light of what the Sacred Scriptures and St. Ambrose teach that those who do not recognize Christ as the Admiral of the true ship are shipwrecked on the sands of dissolution. This refers especially to the Jews who long ago abandoned ship. Now, according to the conciliarists, it is time to compromise Christ and His teachings for the sake of not offending the sensibilities of man. This is outright mutiny and Christ teaches us to wipe the dust from our sandals and leave them to the fishes. Our Lord has also acknowledged that 'many are called, few chosen.' Those who are chosen and remain loyal are those who, through grace and as Jesus Christ intended, have been Caught in Peter's Net On The BattleLine Atila Sinke Guimarăes provides a succinct visual presentation of arguments on why John Paul II should never be considered for sainthood. Yet, his successor Benedict XVI, in an effort to be politically correct and lap onto the popular coattails of Karol Wojtyla, has put his predecessor on the fast track for instant canonization; a process put into gear by none other than the man who occupied the chair of Peter for 27 years and during that time greatly scandalized countless souls by his amoral actions and disregard for Catholic decency. As Atila points out, is this someone who edifies the virtues and should be emulated? Hardly. He provides photos and documentation that if Benedict persists in this warped logic of doing whatever Wojtyla wants, it will only prove more evidentially the great deviation from the True Faith of Eternal Rome. He explains in his Bird's Eye View column The Canonization of Wojtyla - the moral-free pope. Shears and Tears of a Lamb As part of our "gems from the past" today we bring you one of Catharine Lamb's excellent articles. In view of the false hopes being expended that Benedict is going to return the Traditional Latin Mass to its exclusive place as the only Mass to be said, we present Catharine's article from three years ago in which she reminds the reader how much has been lost with the loss of Latin. Lex orandi, lex credendi. With the exodus of the official language of the Church out also went reverence and spiritual discipline. We saw that only too well during the stalags of Paul VI and John Paul II. Will it be any different under Benedict XVI. Highly doubtful he will rise above his own relativism and do a 180 considering his goal is to protect what he himself fostered and promulgated at Vatican II. Don't be fooled by a few crumbs tossed out to quiet the Traditional movement. With the loss of Latin universally, a structured, purposeful direction was abandoned. In place of unity of the universal Church there is now division everywhere, created by the confusion of the wholesale changes wrought by the sorry reforms of Vatican II, reforms that continue to foster a slothful attitude towards the sacred and profound as Catharine explains in her column From Latin to Lazy. Fiat Voluntas Dei Timothy Duff, long considered an expert on The Mystical City of God by Venerable Mary of Jesus of Agreda, begins today a series on her Heavenly work in which Our Lord and His Blessed Mother imparted to this simple, humble and very obedient nun over 2500 handwritten pages on the life of Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Outside of Sacred Scripture, nothing is more detailed or devout than this four-volume tome of meditation of what God the Father wanted mankind to know now. Despite being told to burn all her notes and manuscripts, through the hand of God she was able to rewrite it several times at the command of her bishop. This work has been an inspiration to Saints and Popes as well as the common Christian and Tim gives reasons why this moved them so, and also why some sought to suppress it. He explains in Part One of his series Mystica Civitate Dei In Defense of The Mystical City of God THE STRAIGHT STUFF Griff Ruby today presents an excellent, eye-opening lesson to be learned in the similarities of the causes and effects of Henry VIII's Declaration of Royal Supremacy and the ill-fated Vatican II document Lumen Gentium. In these days when the Anglican institution (church of England) is going to hell in a hand-basket and the "Vatican institution" (conciliar church) is following right behind, Griff hits the nail on the head with the analogy of what happened in England and what happened 430 years later. Both 'declarations of rebellion' were the 'chop' that lopped off from the True, Living Tree of Christ those who chose to stay with the branch - a severed, withered branch - which is no longer part of the True Tree of Holy Mother Church. Christ is the vine and we are the branches, but if those branches are disconnected, then they are separated from the very Church planted by Christ in Matthew 16: 19. They are destined, as our Lord asserts in Matthew 7: 19, to be cast into the fire. Just as it did in England four centuries ago, so also today the pruning has pared back the True Church greatly. Griff shows the correlation of the situation that befell England and the epikea of today when true shepherds, though only a few, remain faithful to the Truths and Traditions and justifies how their continuing to perpetuate the Faith by ordaining priests and consecrating bishops is the very same thing St. John Fisher would have done had he not been martyred. It would have been considered the right and proper thing to do then as a loyal Catholic resisting the Church of England; so also today it is the right and proper thing to do for the Traditional bishops to do likewise no matter what modern Rome says, since, by the modernists' acceptance of Lumen Gentium, they have cut themselves off from the True Church and hold no authority in her Founder's eyes. Griff explains in his magnificent apologetic essay A Lesson from Jolly Old England Traditional Insights As part of our "gems from the past" and because Mario Derksen will be continuing this series and it's important for the reader to be refreshed on all the pertinent points Mario first presented, we are rerunning for the summer mode issues his excellent series on "The Truth About Ecumenism" as he meticulously analyzes a powerful encyclical on ecumenism; not Ut unum sint but rather Mortalium animos, the no nonsense Papal encyclical by Pope Pius XI who warned against the very insanity that has run wild over the past several decades and grows worse by the year, by the month. With John Paul II now passed into history, the ecumania is continuing with Benedict and therefore it is vital to bring the evil of ecumenism to light as Mario provides the proof that ecumenism is not just a grave error, but an anathema which, in effect, is apostasy pure and simple for it denies the ineffable truths of the One True Church, denies the primary dogma of Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus, and denies Christ's command in the Scriptures. Mario has agreed to rerun his series on An Analysis of the Encyclical Mortalium Animos and other true Catholic Teaching on Religious Unity with part one Truth and Method Making Sense of Sensus Catholicus Father James F. Wathen, the pioneering traditional author of The Great Sacrilege, illustrates through the Gospels how Christ's yoke, which He assured is sweet and light, truly is. This He confirmed when blood and water poured forth from His Most Sacred Heart, shedding the very last drop of His Most Precious Blood and revealing why the Yoke is so Sweet: because of the ultimate Sacrifice offered for us. If we are to share in the infinite reward, we must be willing to share in the sacrifice and carry whatever crosses God has in store for us. We've seen the Love He has for us, now it is time for us to return that love. The yoke is only heavy when we forget the price of sacrifice and our role in salvation of souls. Father points to the Evangelists as he explains. As usual we are grateful to Maria Hughes for sending Father's latest essay titled The Love of the Sacred Heart Gabriel's Clarion Gabriel Garnica weighs in with his fourteenth installment of his on-going series Catholic Identity Crisis in the USA. Today, he documents what the True Church preaches and the contrast of what is being taught. The Crux of the Catholic Identity Crisis in the USA is due to the conciliar church that has abandoned the true message Christ intended for all time. Yet those who have bought into the lies that were condemned by the infallible, dogmatic Council of Trent are just beginning to realize how they've been deceived and what the real intent of the church formed since Vatican II is. Maybe that is why it is known to so many as the conciLIAR church. Untruth is derived from the devil whereas Truth comes from God and cannot be compromised or altered! We are in emergency crisis and there is no time to "dialog" ad nauseum over offending the sensibilities of man when God is offended constantly and greatly by the heresy being spewed. Gabriel explains with his fourteenth installment Heresy vs. 911 Salvation "Qui legit, intelligat" In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Sunday Within the Octave of The Feast of the Most Sacred Heart - the Third Sunday After Pentecost, he doesn't mince words in establishing that the infrangible infallible words of the doctrinal Council of Trent and ex cathedra papal decrees trump pastoral 'wishes' every time. On this feast within the Octave of the great solemnity when we turn to the Most Merciful and Sacred Heart of Jesus, we remember He is the Pastor Bonus and He, and He alone, can save the sheep who have strayed so far from His True Church. Father points out that Our Lord, through His true shepherds prior to Vatican II, has already shown the sheep "the Truth, the Way and the Life." But the usurpers have infiltrated the ranks and directed the sheep in another direction AWAY from Him so cleverly and insidiously that few lambs recognize the misdirection. Only when they reach the edge of the abyss do they realize they've been duped. If only they had known their Faith better, they would never have had the wool pulled over their eyes. But alas, in blind obedience, they assumed and it has led them toward the slaughter for indeed, because there only a few shepherds left, one might ask: Who Will Save The Sheep? One of the greatest things we can do for the Sacred Heart of Jesus, especially in this Month of the Most Sacred Heart, is to honor His Blessed Mother and to act upon her strong request at Fatima to make reparation for the blasphemies against her name and image with the Five First Saturdays consisting of Confession, Holy Mass and Holy Communion, Recitation of the Holy Rosary, and spending at least 15 minutes - preferably before the Blessed Sacrament - to keep Our Lady company and to soothe her Immaculate Heart by pledging the intention of making reparation to the Blessed Mother for the offenses against Her. She promised to Sr. Lucia that whoever observes the Five First Saturday Devotions will receive the graces needed at the hour of death. Gabriel's Clarion Speaking of reparation, the acts of these New Order 'bishops' cry out for reparation and, as Gabriel Garnica continues his series on the Catholic Identity Crisis in the USA, he challenges the Mickey Mouse prelates today who are twisting Catholic truth in order not to upset their congregations. This includes a liberal interpretation of the Sacred Scriptures which seeks to eliminate the Justice of God and speak only of His love. Such a "Fantasyland" is thriving in Orlando, Florida and we're not talking about anything Walt built. It is the fateful fantasy being spun by the new bishop of Orlando Thomas Wenski, a product of the Miami miasma, who refuses to accept the reality of Catholic teaching that God does indeed use nature to punish man for his sins and storms can definitely be a sign of His Justice. Yet Wenski denies this, rather inviting his congregation to "come along and sing a song and join the jamboree, M-I-C, see you real soon K-E-Y, Why? Because God is just about love and doesn't punish. M-O-U-S-E - U shall see, Her-e-sy! Her-e-sy!" Why should he need a miter when the mouse ears are more appropriate for such goofy and dangerous fantasy? Gabriel explains with his thirteenth installment In The Eye of The Storm Today we honor Traditional Catholic author and historian Dr. Marian Therese Horvat, who has served as a chosen conduit to bridge the specific 17th century prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success with these times and the intrinsic link between a humble, holy Conceptionist nun and the very chastisements and punishments Our Lady foretold in the early 1600's. Devotion to and the story of Our Lady of Good Success is the mission Marian has embarked on in disseminating Heaven's warnings and how we can mitigate part of it by emulating the heroic virtue of the little-known Venerable Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres from Quito, Ecuador. Marian has made many more contributions including being the bridge to translating the works of the brilliant Brazilian Traditional Catholic author and apologist Atila Sinke Guimarăes into English as well as bringing him permanently to the United States where, operating under the non-profit organization Tradition in Action, together they have been a powerful force in informing the faithful of the causes and effects of Vatican II, providing the vital why's and how's that have often gone untold. Thanks to Marian's expertise in translation and editing with a BA in Journalism and a PhD in Medieval History, the magnificent works of lesser known Catholic luminaries have come to the fore and answered many questions as well. Today we pay tribute to this noble crusader and cooperator with Heaven in endeavoring to restore the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. Thus, we enthusiastically and proudly enshrine into the Tower of Trent Hall of Honor Marian Therese Horvat, PhD Books you can count on! In today's issue and in conjunction with today's Hall of Honor recipient Marian Therese Horvat, Cyndi Cain brings the reader a heartfelt review of the latest book offered by Tradition In Action - The Admirable Life of of Mother Mariana. Cyndi's review is different than most book reviews for she files nothing critical about the book, but rather enlightens the reader to her own experiences from reading this marvelous work of a Portuguese Military Officer who converted after Mother Mariana appeared to him in 1790. In the manner of St. Paul, he became a priest and went on to document the life of Mother Mariana which, as Our Lady foretold, would not be known until the end of the 20th Century. Now it is known thanks to Dr. Horvat who has translated and edited into English the priest's 600-page hand-written manuscript. It was published by TIA just a few months ago. See why Cyndi considers this such a powerful tool of spiritual reading in inspiring each soul to strive to emulate the heroic virtue of Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres who became a victim soul, making reparation for our very times. Cyndi encourages all to learn the story of the approved apparitions of Our Lady of Good Success and the holy visionary intrinsically linked to our times through her sufferings. We provide a rare glimpse of Cyndi's insight in her review A Most Admirable Advocate for Our Time Promises of the Sacred Heart On this Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we provide the Promises given by Our Lord to a holy nun Sister Margaret Mary Alacoque who was asked to establish the Feast of the Sacred Heart in order to stimulate the faithful to honor with more devotion and zeal, under the symbol of the Sacred Heart, the love of Jesus Christ, which induced Him not only to suffer and to die for the redemption of mankind, but also to institute the Sacrament of His Body and Blood. Though devotion of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is of great antiquity in the Church, it was reserved to the holy Sister Margaret Mary Alacoque, of the Order of the Visitation, to make this devotion public. We share it here on this feast. Twelve Promises of the Sacred Heart to Margaret Mary Alacoque |

There are several sources we strongly encourage you to follow so that one can get a true picture of what the traditions should be during this time of transition and questions. One is the regular news wire we carry below from a fairly closely related Traditional Catholic perspective from AngelQueen.org. In the face of so much fawning and false information from the secular media and especially the Novus Ordo media, Fr. Moderator's daily commentaries are a must to understand what is really going on. We encourage you to go to Traditio.com for he is usually on top of whatever event has come down the pike and calls them pretty much as we see them here at The Daily Catholic in striving to uphold and preserve the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church as part of the Resistance to the Revolution of Vatican II, especially during this time when so much misinformation is flooding into homes as fact and the Novus Ordo mentality and novelties will be ingrained in so many.

Like Fox News, The Daily Catholic seeks to provide a fair and balanced perspective on modern Rome always from a Traditional point of view. There are traditional Catholics who believe Ratzinger is a legitimate successor of St. Peter. Their views need to be heard. There are also traditional Catholics who believe he is not a true Pope in light of the heresies of Vatican II and his own complicity in the conciliar church, and have documented such. Their views also definitely need to be heard. Therefore, The Daily Catholic from this point on will provide both views for the discernment of readers for these are very, very critical times - indeed, a time of epikea - the likes of which have never afflicted the Church as it is today. We are all fighting a common enemy and need to be united as Traditional Catholics. We are the Church Militant and in all charity, need to speak out when wrong is being done. The Church is not above Christ. The greatest criteria for our own salvation is being fully Catholic in every way. That means not veering one iota from what Holy Mother Church has always taught. Not one iota! We must cling to the Faith handed down by the Apostles in Divine Revelation and Divine Tradition, reinforced and codified, often with the power of perpetuity by popes, many holy ones, down through the ages. When those infrangible truths are tampered with, we will not stand still and let the marauders have their way. The Church is not a democracy, does not sway with political correctness, polls, public opinion or the times. True authentic Catholics will always confront the barbarians both at the gate and inside the gate, having as their allies our Lord Jesus Christ, His most Blessed Mother, the Primacy of Peter, and all His angels and His saints.
