Gabriel's Clarion

Gabriel Garnica sets the table for this weekend's over-hyped festivities in Jacksonville by presenting a soul-saving perspective of what really is important and how sports has become a religion unto itself. Rather than falling in with all the rest of the mindless minions who will go whichever way the world sways them, Gabriel points out that for all those rooting for the Eagles or the Patriots on Super Bowl Sunday, it's not life and death. Yet, life and death is the issue regarding rooting and supporting the team that rejects ecumenism, modernism and all other isms in order to be true to the Head Coach - Jesus Christ. Hell is for eternal losers, Heaven for loyal winners who paid the price by living as authentic true Catholics in every sense. Naturally, that is what makes it 'Super' as in Supernatural! He explains in his column Religion, Sports and Ecumenism

The Straight Stuff

Griff Ruby presents the first part of "What is your picture" as he retraces the steps leading up to where Modern Rome broke away from Eternal Rome. He illustrates how during the pontificate of John XXIII no one suspected heresy even as it was being formed within the revised schemas of Vatican II. Even during the reign of Paul VI few realized the defection from the Faith when Montini bowed to the demonic UN as the hope of the people, thus forsaking the one source of Hope - Holy Mother Church. In effect, Paul VI was abdicating his authority as head of the only visible institution Christ deigned for salvation, by giving credence to a false entity - basically mammon. Why is it so few realize this? Griff goes into the dangerous precedent set in Lumen Gentium on which hinges the new church of Vatican II - separate from the Roman Catholic Church founded by Christ. He details in Part One of What is your picture?

Making Sense of Sensus Catholicus

We are pleased to be able to share another letter from Father James F. Wathen, pioneering traditional author of The Great Sacrilege. In a follow-up to what we presented last week on How the Jews Changed Catholic Thinking, we present this timely piece by Father Wathen in which he points out that, outside of divine intervention, no one should hold out hope that we will have a truly Catholic Pope coming out of the next Conclave - at least in the near future - for those who are called cardinal - have basically all sold out and apostasized from the True Faith through heresy, jeopardizing their very souls for all eternity. Sadly, the vast majority are so dumbed-down and anesthetized that they cannot see the onrushing flood that will swamp souls, plunging them into hell. Father explains in Part One of his short essay sent by Maria Hughes. A Catholic Pope

Gems from the Past
In honor of the traditional feast of the Purification of Mary when, 40 days after giving birth she presented herself and her Divine Son in the Temple as was the Jewish custom, we bring you a gem from the past in Gabriel Garnica's moving piece on Mary's Magnificat. Gabriel has chosen those nine verses uttered by this most Immaculate of women to her cousin Elizabeth and recorded for all time in Luke 1: 46-55. He magnifies the might of her words as the total fiat of God's holy will in all things and a simple guide for each of us to strive for holiness in this fleeting life. He shows how nothing of the secular or ecclesial New Order can measure up to the simplicity and humility of this wonderful prayer. The Magnificat - Mary's Answer to the New Order

Traditional Thoughts

Father Yves le Roux, rector of St. Thomas Seminary for the Society of St. Pius X in Winona, Minnesota, weighs in with a brief meditation on why God allows evil in the world. On the heels of yesterday's Feast of St. John Bosco in which we brought you his frightening, vivid vision of hell, we can apply the 'knives' placed by the traps to free us of the bondage of sin. Father Yves le Roux refers to some of those virtues and points out why God allows evil for good, emphasizing the fact that He will never interfere with man's free will. That's how much He loves us and conversely it is necessary for each of us to make a personal commitment to show how much we love God. Father explains in his letter

Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica sounds the clarion that we have lost what was encouraged by the holy founder of the Salesians Saint John Bosco. While this devoted priest was given the mystical vision of the Two Pillars and the great storm to come in which the Ship of the Holy See would be tossed to and fro in its struggle to be anchored between the Pillar of the Holy Eucharist and Devotion to Mary's Immaculate Heart, there were two pillars of thought that he entrusted to his students - his boys who were, for the most part the juvenile delinquents of his time in Italy. Many turned into fine upstanding men in preserving the Faith and fostering vocations. Something which is practically lost today for gone are the pillars for raising responsible adults: respect and discipline. Instead we are crippled with the crutches of disrespect and irresponsibility, leaning on excuse after excuse why something can't be done instead of trusting in God that it can be accomplished. Faith is a key ingredient missing in today's society. In fact, as Gabriel points out in his column the kind of faith St. John Bosco instilled is practically a lost art today. John Bosco and Tough Love
The Sanity of Sanctity

In honor of today's saint, we bring you the frightening omen of St. John Bosco's vivid dream in which a guide - an angel - took him on a journey into hell which, just as the children of Fatima have confirmed, defies description. In fact, St. John Bosco's guide confirms this that Christ Himself couldn't even speak more in detail of the most horrible place ever created. This is must reading for every parent, teacher and especially sons and daughters and every Novus Ordo priest who counsels teens that what they're doing isn't so bad, not to worry about it. Au contraire! They should be very, very concerned and St. John Bosco shows very clearly and starkly how serious everyone should take their actions and inactions for by not being obedient to their parents, superiors and authorities they are paving the way to hell, a path paved with good intentions unfulfilled. St. John proves Hell is very real! and a word to the wise should be sufficient never to forget the images he paints in words. St. John Bosco's Journey into Hell
Sunday
"Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for Sexagesima Sunday, he emphasizes the fact that if hearts are hardened, they will convict themselves of sin for Christ has given them every chance possible to see the Truth and repent. Yet, thanks to the false prophets , so many are hurtling headlong in pride into hell because they only believe what they want to believe. The same serpent that seduced Adam and Eve continues to slither unfettered through the sewer of political correctness and tolerance, aided and abetted by those who should be preaching Christ's unmitigated truths. But thanks to the New Evangelization that has abandoned all endeavors to proselytize the one True Faith, the fodder is fatter than ever for the deadly viper to swallow up and regurgitate in the everlasting pits of damnation. Just as the 'chosen people' of the Old Covenant refused to believe the Prophet Michaeus, so also those who should be upholding the New Covenant have refused to acknowledge the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church and have created a new religion to accommodate man, not God. Father explains in his sermon Convicting the World of Sin

Editor's Note: Because the Novus Ordo has nothing representing the Time of Septuagesima in their all-encompassing "Ordinary Time," Kevin Tierney will not have a comparison of the Sunday liturgies in his continuing quest to convince Novus Ordinarians of the superiority in every way of the Traditional Latin Mass Rite which has no peers in the annals of world history for it is indeed, as Father Faber said, "the most beautiful thing this side of Heaven." Thus Kevin will not resume his series until the First Sunday of Lent.

Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica illustrates how obvious the bias in the press today and nowhere is this more apparent than in the powerful halls of the Sanhedrin of The New York Times which has had a blatant agenda to denigrate not only Traditional Catholicism, but also her last great Pope with the outrageous lies that Pius XII cooperated with the despot Hitler even though there are tons of documentation to prove otherwise. Yet facts and the truth do not matter to these propagandists who, as Gabriel points out need to change their slogan from "All the News that's Fit to Print" to "All the News We Deem Fit To Print." Gabriel identifies the anti-Catholic bias in his column The Diabolic Detraction
of a Holy Pope by an Unholy Institution
The Agony of Aggiornamento
Dovetailing from Gabriel's column, we provide a lengthy, but fascinating secular account from the very reliable senior editor of the now defunct LOOK Magazine on January 25, 1966. Joseph Roddy's account is not far from the truth of how the Jews dared to invade the doctrines and dogmas of Holy Mother Church and how the progressive prelates were so malleable to heresy. What makes this so interesting is both when it was written, shortly after the close of the Second Vatican Council in volume 30, no. 2 of the January 25, 1966 issue of Look Magazine, and the influence back then of the American press, most notably the Zionist bias of The New York Times as Gabriel Garnica points out in his column today. It also shows the intent of the progressivists to undermine the Faith for political purposes. Long before Nostra Aetate, long before the shameful apologies and wimpering at the wailing wall, the agenda had already been set to form a new church that would be politically correct in the advancement of the State of Israel and power to Zionist interests in forming a New World Order. No man can serve two masters and the Vatican II church opted for mammon over the Church founded by Christ. It's all evident in Roddy's account of 39 years ago on How The Jews Changed Catholic Thinking
