We are Living in a Hypocracy!
Part Six
Diversity, tolerance and the whole liberal, selfish manifesto has caused the erosion of morals, values and faith in America, turning what was supposed to be the model of democracy into a modem of hypocracy - chiefly because we have abandoned the necessity of striving for the monarchy of Jesus Christ as Sovereign King of all nations to rule hearts and souls. By this turning our back on God we reap the bitter fruits of our disobedience.

"And that leads to the final category - values. This society cries freedom and choice at every turn as justifications and themes for evils which only limit freedom and destroy eternal freedom. While people wave privacy as some mantra for permitting evil, this society limits and abuses privacy at every turn and with every new invention. People cry about eliminating hunger and want when this society is based and founded upon spiritual hunger and eternal want. We claim to be all about discipline and order but we take every opportunity to avoid discipline and overthrow order. People speak about spirituality and self-awareness yet there have been few if any societies more lost spiritually and less self-aware about what it truly important than this one. People speak of tolerance and inclusion even while they practice intolerance of God and those who sincerely try to follow God and seek to exclude God and those who follow Him from every public situation."

Editor's Note: Gabriel Garnica continues his weekly multi-part series which we've dubbed "Incorrigible Dirigibles" in comparing the liberal factions to blimps full of hot air which nevertheless cast a dark shadow over today's values and morals. In the manner of the Tower of Babel-like zeppelin "Hindenburg," so also these pompous, progressive windbags are full of gaseous, nauseous ideas that can be most dangerous if one seeks to hook a ride on such nonsense. In that same vein, they have nowhere to go but down. One must realize they are highly inflammable and the nearer they float toward the fires of hell, the more combustible souls become who are in their path, beneath them, or, God forbid, their passenger. This week Gabriel lays out what kind of a system we really have. Our country was established as a Republic and yet intended it to be a democracy - for the people, of the people and by the people and all know that is a facade for what the U.S. has really become - a hypocracy where the true dignity of man, let alone God Himself, has any rights as we can see the erosion of values and God's laws. Gabriel explains in his sixth installment.

I love this country very much, for it has truly been a blessing to this earth for many years. At one time this great nation was built on morality, virtue, and God's Word. Its history is testament to the many blessings conferred upon this nation by God. However, instead of continuing to praise, honor, and serve God through its example and laws, this nation has rejected God at every turn, it has mocked His Word in every way imaginable, and it has chosen a path away from God rather than toward Him. Even as it pretends to value virtue, truth, equality, justice, and respect, it now represents just the opposite in many ways. It is for this reason that God has abandoned this country to the hands of evil. It is for this reason that this once great nation will feel the hand of God in many ways.

A New, Distorted Form of Government

We have all studied the various forms of government that have evolved or existed throughout history. A democracy is government by the people, for the people through representative, elected leaders. A monarchy is rule by a king or queen. An aristocracy is rule by the so-called best. An oligarchy is rule by the few. A tyranny is rule by corrupt and evil forces. Finally, a popular term in these days of rejecting God is a theocracy, which is rule by religious authority and belief. To this list we can now add the new term hypocracy, which is rule based on hypocrisy. While each of the above forms of government certainly have had hypocrisy as part of their formula, this is so because hypocrisy is a tragic human weakness to which we are all victim and of which we are all guilty. The difference here is that never before has hypocrisy been so elevated to an art form, to a virtue, to a level so profound that it expands while many clueless fools sing its praises as virtue and enlightenment.

A Brief List Will Suffice

A list of the hypocrisy promoted by this society is so long that practicality and personal health dictate a much shortened version. I will therefore limit this list to only the vilest, absurd, and outrageous hypocrisies promoted in this society as causes, virtues, and accepted truths. Of course, abortion - the murder of the most defenseless - heads the list for this is more hideous and savage than the Aztecs who offered human sacrifice or the cannibals of the wild jungles.

Two Examples of the Hypocrisy of Pro-Aborts

This nation cries out against terrorism and mourns the deaths of 3,000 people on 9/11 and thousands of soldiers in Iraq even while its own laws allow and protect the murder of 4,000 innocents a day in abortion mills. Since Roe v. Wade the count is close to or over 50 million unborn souls!

    Cindy Sheehan

I do not pretend to know what is in the heart and mind of Cindy Sheehan as she becomes a lightning rod against President Bush's Iraq motives and strategy. I am sure that she has experienced terrible anguish and pain as a result of the death of her son in that war, as have millions of mothers through all wars. I will likewise never doubt any mother's love of her child and utter anguish, grief, and despair upon the loss of that child. Having said the above, I would like to ask Cindy Sheehan one question:

Cindy Sheehan, are you in favor of abortion or against it?

You see, if Sheehan tells me that she is against abortion, she will in one swipe destroy a number of doubts that many have about her "crusade" and her "agenda". Many out there believe that Sheehan has simply become a pawn of liberal forces and the mainstream media (aren't they really one and the same?). If Sheehan is, in fact, against abortion and publicly says so, she will obviously destroy any notion that she is a pawn of either of those two camps since they embrace abortion like a life preserver during a flood. If, on the other hand, Sheehan is actually against abortion but does not want to publicly state so, she is simply the coward that her son clearly was not. Maybe she realizes that the media and liberal forces are her vehicles for getting her point across, and publicly stating an opposition to abortion is the fastest way to become ignored and quite lonely as liberals and media types would desert her so fast her head would spin.

Now, let us assume, as I think I will, that Sheehan is actually pro-abortion. I think that I can assume this based on the support she is getting from liberal and media factions and all of the feminist, women's rights rhetoric that is being mixed in with her group. If Sheehan or any of the mothers in Sheehan's group are in favor of abortion, we have a very juicy bit of hypocrisy.

How can any mother seriously cry out against the fact that her child has been placed in harm's way or actually killed for what she believes to be an unjust or insufficient cause all while conversely promoting and defending the murder of an even more innocent child by that child's own mother?

Am I simply such a fool that I cannot reconcile crying out against the danger posed to one's child in this war while promoting the murder of one's child in abortion or even condoning such murder as "none of my business"? If anyone can help me reconcile these two positions please email me and help me out.

Now I feel for Cindy Sheehan and all mothers who have lost a child, but I will take her and her ilk more seriously if they are likewise against abortion. Otherwise, I will have to believe that these people are clueless hypocrites at least or deceptive frauds at worst. For their sake and the sake of all who follow them, I hope that these people are all against abortion. I sure wish someone would ask them if they are and, if they are not, ask them to guide us through the convoluted rationalizations they used to support their absurd, inconsistent positions!

    Carolyn McCarthy

It was a senseless tragedy, a random killing and maiming of innocent people, a "choice" to murder for subjective, individual reasons. Ironically, it happened on the anniversary of Pearl Harbor, when treachery likewise snuffed out human life out of nowhere. It is called The Long Island Railroad Massacre, and six dead and 19 injured resulted from the acts of a crazed gunman out to declare his message against perceived injustice, limitations, and restrictions on his freedom. One of the dead was Dennis McCarthy, and one of the injured was his son, and from the ashes of this vile event comes Carolyn McCarthy, a self-described practicing Catholic, to a seat in Congress. While McCarthy has done good work against gun violence, many parts of her platform read like a litany of classic irony in a Greek tragedy. While so-called Catholics like Kennedy, Biden, Pelosi, and Kerry may be more famous, December 7, 1993 may be the core of what is wrong with American Catholicism today!

It's all about innocence lost. Dennis McCarthy and others felt relatively safe in the womb of a train car on their way to the waiting arms of loved ones. This ride is typically abuzz with the sound of cell phones, light banter about work and play, children laughing, and periodic announcements. One sees some people sleeping, others reading, still others searching thoughts in the dark world outside. There must have been a gentle buzz of the coming Christmas season, and perhaps a warm feeling of family encased from the early December chill. Suddenly, without warning, this peace and warmth was brutalized by the loud and violent sounds of death, pain, and injury and the sight of blood. Innocence was lost on that December night, and it fell at the hand of senseless selfishness and superficial arrogance.

The unborn probably feel relatively safe in the womb of their mother on their way to the waiting arms of loved ones as well, and their ride typically carries with it the sounds of an outside world. Suddenly, without warning, this peace and warmth is brutalized by the loud and violent sounds and feelings of death, pain, and blood. Innocence is lost every night and day at the hand of senseless selfishness and superficial arrogance.

The maniac who killed and maimed so many that night spewed all forms of justifications for his vile act, but nothing he could concoct could justify such despicable violence and treachery. He likely lulled himself to believe that his actions were in some justified or rationalized by his personal vision of reality and his own integrity as a human being, but believing that one's act of violence and murder is justified has been the pathetic crutch of every maniac, fool, and tragic soul ever to bloody his or her hands with murder masked as mission or message.

Anyone who murders or allows an unborn child to be murdered can spew similar dribble in an attempt to rationalize or justify their violence, but no words or phrases or twisted proclamations of freedom and choice can erase the twisted bodies of those denied to right to live because they got in the way of those demanding their right to live as they wish. These are pathetic justifications that won't wash with God Almighty.

They say that from every sin there are two possible paths. One takes us to contrition, forgiveness, mercy, service, and salvation. Despite the horror of some evil that may befall us, we can replace that touch of satan with the embrace of God if we turn the pain of death and distance into the gain of life and renewal. Sadly, the other path takes us to perdition itself. We can betray our chance to serve God by serving the devil regardless of our bold and noble proclamations otherwise. Carolyn McCarthy has walked from this tragedy wearing the most hypocritical of robes. An ardent activist against murder by guns, she has been equally ardent in favor of murder by scalpel. Boldly denouncing a passive attitude regarding gun violence, she embraces a passive attitude toward sparing the lives of the unborn. Rejecting the notion that Americans have the right to choose to have guns, she fights for their choice to have abortions. Proclaiming herself as a champion of education who "won't leave a child behind", she works against educating youth on the perils of abortion and advocates leaving scores of children behind in waste bins and garbage cans for early morning pickups. Turning her back on the gun lobby because they profit from violence, she smiles with NARAL and PLANNED PARENTHOOD who profit from violence. Using the personal pain and tragedy from the murder of six and the injury of 19 more, she has promoted the murder of countless more lives. Sworn to serve life as a nurse, she has now sworn to uphold sin dressed as law as a politician. Given the chance to serve God from the ashes of personal tragedy, she has chosen to serve the evil one. Depicted as rising from the death of that day, she has chosen to descend from that death instead.

There are so many candidates to model the confusion and contortion of American Catholics today, and similar reasons for choosing each one. Asked to select one such Catholic as a microcosm of what is wrong with American Catholicism, one is tempted to choose the usual suspects. I have chosen to focus on Cindy Sheehan and Carolyn McCarthy not because they are the worst or the most extreme example of this confusion and contortion, but because their backgrounds and personal tragedies provide the most compelling and ironic backdrop to their present positions of propping up the leftists. These women who have been pierced by violence and speaks against either the war abroad or gun availability and violence advocate the availability and violence against the innocent unborn. These are just two cases of classic 'Catholic' contortion.

Health

We are inundated with tons of ads and slogans regarding health and miles of causes, charities, and fundraisers claiming to fight disease and ills even while drug companies and the FDA clearly think about money first and health somewhere later. Numerous such charities have runs for cures against ills such as breast cancer even as they contribute to Planned Parenthood, which promotes abortion, a proven cause of breast cancer. Our children are forced to take all manner of vaccinations containing mercury despite concerns that this mercury is causing illness in children.

Hypocrisy is rampant in the health industry and pharmaceutical conglomerates who care little for concern about the side effects of their drugs unless the media brings it to the limelight. That same media have no qualms about showing deteriorated or damaged lungs of a smoker that are downright revolting, but won't ever show a murdered fetus. The hypocrisy is rife where ever one looks.

Information Technology

That segues right into the next category - information technology. Our media presents itself as the great champion of truth and investigation when over and over it is proven to only be the peddler of lies, distortion, bias, and radical agendas. The New York Times, seen by many as the symbol of journalism, is merely a glorified liberal propaganda rag. So also National Public Radio and PBS, both supported by our tax dollars, is merely a mouthpiece for the liberal elements who have been largely responsible for the fall and decline of the American Empire, of the transition from democracy to hypocracy.

Technology

Instead of helping mankind to improve the quality of life, technology in all of its forms has only served to further enslave us as shown by the chaos that ensued in the Y2K situation and every time there is some emergency. It is sheer hypocrisy to protest the uselessness and outdated nature of old ways, methods, instruments, and machines while ignoring or rationalizing the ironic vulnerability of modern methods and tools.

Yet it is technology that has paralyzed family life. Everyone has their own TV, own radio or Walkman, even MP3...oh, and did I mention cellphone mania? Gone are family chats, time for our children or parents, brothers and sisters, hardly anyone for we have become so dependent upon technology that when a computer goes down, clerks don't know how to add without a calculator. The more man becomes dependent on technology the more he has the illusion he is more independent. The truth is the more one depends on things of this world, the more they are dependent upon the prince of the world, which, as everyone knows, is total imprisonment.

Values

And that leads to the final category - values. People speak of tolerance and inclusion even while they practice intolerance of God and those who sincerely try to follow God and seek to exclude God and those who follow Him from every public situation.

Conclusion

There can be no doubt that hypocrisy will always exist while humans exist because it is in the nature of fallible, weak, and imperfect humans to be hypocritical from time to time. What goes beyond the pale, however, is a system which not only condones such evil, but actually promotes and waves it proudly. This society is so far gone that it cannot perceive, measure, or cure its own hypocrisy. Since this systemic hypocrisy is not a mere accident or unaccepted defect in our system, we must conclude that it is part and parcel of this system, this society, such that this society can rightly be called a hypocrisy, which is a form of government, of life, and of thought that has turned hypocrisy into a religion unto itself and brainwashed many into seeing that hypocrisy as common sense or truth. May this society realize the error of its ways and turn to God instead of hypocrisy before it is too late!
