Daily Thoughts and Prayers for Our Beloved Dead

Editor's Note: Thanks to the kind permission of Mary, Immaculate Queen Press, we are reproducing below for each day in November the respective prayers for the holy souls in Purgatory. They carry an Imprimatur from Patrick Cardinal Hayes of New York. You can order the booklets for .50 each from Mary Immaculate Queen Center, 8504 N. St. Michael's Road, Spokane, WA 99217-9333. Below are for the prayers for the ninth through thirteenth day of November.

    TWENTY-THIRD DAY
When, by our prayers, we release a soul from Purgatory, we have not only won his gratitude, but the gratitude of his Guardian Angel, of the Blessed Virgin Mary, to whom his soul was consecrated, and of God Himself Who is enabled through us to sooner shower His blessings on it.

Pray: One Our Father, Three Hail Mary's, one Gloria and De Profundis (Psalm 129)

    DE PROFUNDIS

Out of the depths, I have cried to Thee, O Lord, Lord, hear my voice.
    R. Let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.
If Thou, O Lord, shalt mark my iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand it?
    R. For with Thee there is merciful forgiveness: and by reason of Thy law I have waited for Thee, O Lord
My soul hath relied on His word; my soul hath hoped in the Lord.
R.From the morning watch even until night; let Israel hope in the Lord.
Because with the Lord there is mercy; and with Him plenteous redemption.
    R. And He shall redeem Israel from all its iniquities.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
R.and let perpetual light shine upon them:
    May they rest in peace
    R.Amen.

Most beloved Jesus, if I could but say "There is a soul in Heaven at this time that owes to me its release from Purgatory, a soul that speaks to God for me, that glorifies God for me, that loves Thy Blessed Mother for me. If it were thus how happy I should be." Release from the pains of Purgatory the soul careless and hurried in prayer. Take him to the joys of Heaven, that he may evermore praise Thee and intercede for me at the hour of need.

    TWENTY-FOURTH DAY

"If we deliver a soul from Purgatory, what a joy it is to be able to say to oneself: "A holy soul truly loves God for me and in my name." We create protectors in all the souls for whom we pray, even though we have not yet obtained their deliverance."

Pray: One Our Father, Three Hail Mary's, one Gloria and De Profundis (Psalm 129) (see above)

Most merciful Jesus, Whose loving Heart was ever burdened with the sorrows of others, look down with pity on the souls of our beloved ones in Purgatory. Hear their cries, and grant that they may soon enjoy everlasting rest with Thee in Heaven. Amen.

PAPAL PROOF OF WHAT THE CHURCH TRULY TEACHES
For those who truly want to delve deeper into what the Faith teaches and what past Sovereign Pontiffs have decreed, we recommend for your vital reading to better KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH, pertinent Papal decrees which put to the lie what is being promulgated today by the Vatican II church. We strongly encourage you to read these to understand how today the modern church is in Apostasy when compared to what had always been taught by Holy Mother Church and enforced and warned as most grievous by previous Pontiffs as you'll see in CREDO & CULTURE

  •     Because the changes such as: table instead of altar; facing people instead of tabernacle; Communion in the hand, etc., emphasize Protestant doctrines (e.g., Mass is only a meal; priest only a president of the assembly; Eucharist is NOT the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, but merely a piece of bread, etc.)
So many have been so dumbed down that they aren't aware how the sacrificial nature of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been eliminated as much as possible by the VaticantwoArians. The Vatican was warned of this catastrophe. See The Ottaviani Intervention This is the twenty-third of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Each day we will publish one of the 62 until they're all complete.
Conversely in the True Holy Mass of All Ages:

He offers Himself as a Victim to make satisfaction for a part at least of thy debts and transgressions.
This is the twenty-third of at least 77 Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur by New York's Archbishop Michael Augustin on June 24, 1818 during the Pontificate of Pope Pius VII.

For the previous Graces, see Twenty-three Graces thus far.

Memo to Ratzinger et al: There is only ONE solution!

Sly-Sky slips in as head wolf of USCCB

Pope Pius XII has been viciously slandered by 'Pope' Rabbi Schmuley Boteach who is 'disappointed' in JP2 for his praise of Arafat. Duh! Welcome to reality, Rabbi, but lay off Papa Pacelli. Don't go there!

Arlen Specter - the recurring speck in pro-lifers' eyes

When it comes to all these ungodly laws being passed by liberal judges because of the lobbying and intimidation of a small minority out to do away with the natural and supernatural order, it is wise to keep in mind the following:

"Unjust laws are, properly speaking, NO LAWS!"
His Eminence Saint Robert Bellarmine, Doctor of the Church

  • Air of sanctity now supposedly harmful to lungs The London Telegraph has filed an article that could be listed under 'more reasons not to convert to Catholicism': Candles or incense can be harmful to your health. That is the wierd deduction some medical "experts" have come to in Europe regarding tests done on the effects of lung cancer from those exposed to the "unhealthy air inside churches" due to candle smoke and incense. Well, if you've gotta go - and we all will eventually - what better way to go? This is just another story that further seeks to demystify God's part in all this and cater to our physical temporal needs at the expense of our spiritual health. The alarmists are trying to scare the devout away by rationalizing that anyone spending a great deal of time in God's house is at risk. What they don't say is that if you don't spend time in His presence you are at greater risk. This article sounds like a Vatican II plant to persuade people to be cautious about their physical welfare while ignoring what is truly important. Amazing how many are in Heaven today because they inhaled the air of sanctity.

  • Ratzinger reflects on the monster he helped create Like Dr. Frankenstein, the Prefect for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith is chagrined that he and his cohorts of Vatican II can no longer control the monster they created in bringing the Church into modern times. The great experiment of aggiornamento has blown up in their face just as Our Lord assured, "By their fruits you shall know them." The very fact they even ventured into such apostate waters is evident fact that they have left the True Church and fashioned a new one which, while maintaining all the trappings and offices, only has the semblance of Catholicism and in no way reflects in doctrine or liturgy the Church founded by Christ. And John Paul II and his chosen minions lament the direction Europe and society have taken? It's a little late. Oh, wait, there is one way to head off the onrushing locomotive of secularism that is running roughshod over the sacred and to save countless souls globally: Abandon the failed experiment of Vatican II and return uncompromisingly to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church!

  • Bishops so confused they can't tell Catholicism from Protestantism as they waffle on course to take on Scriptural discernment Why is it these kind of problems very seldom raised their ugly heads before Vatican II? Could it be because the leaders of the Church were Catholic? Duh! It is obvious that today's prelate are anything but as they bicker amongst themselves about something that is so obvious. Catholics do not interpret the Bible, but defer to the Church's infallible, perennial Magisterium to discern it as She has always done. Advice to the bishops: Abandon the New American Bible. Go back to the Douay-Rheims Version. But these sheepish shepherds don't seem to have a clue as the Washington Times reports.

  • Signs the Apocalypse is near LifeNews has four articles that point to the fact we are not in Kansas anymore, Toto. One deals with the FDA finally admitting the problems documented from the curse of the abortion pill; another details how the UN wants to take over the internet as part of the New One World Order in muscling its way over individual rights; a third article is an omen for what the ACLU has been trying to do: eliminate God. Now Canadian chaplains must remove the crosses from their caps, reminiscent of the terrible persecution south of the border earlier in the 20th century when such valiant souls as Miguel Pro willingly gave his life for Our Lord. Many who gave their lives came from the olde sod on the Emerald Isle but today they wouldn't recognize the olde sod or the olde Faith for Ireland is barren, thanks to caving to sin and modernity. That's why, as sad as it is, it is no surprise that the Irish Prime Minister and Dublin's Archbishop have betrayed Our Lord and it didn't take 30 pieces of silver, but persuasion by the sodomites to push for homosexual unions.

  • Skylstad tabbed as head of USCCB! The more things change the more they stay the same! Anyone thinking the US bishops of the New Order were sincere in their words to all that they were changing their ways and would rein in offenders - including bishops that have covered up sodomite Novus Ordo 'priests' are left once again holding the bag. When will they learn that with Monday's announcement that Bishop William Skylstad was elected the next president of the USCCB, replacing the outgoing Wilton Gregory who did nothing on his watch, it's more of the same ol'-same ol'. Add to this that the VP elected was Cardinal Francis George and you can see it's a good ol' boys' club intended to protect their boys. Skylstad is under fire in his own diocese for covering up pedophilia and sodomy by priests he had appointed. Yes, in the New Order church the more things change, the more they stay the same. Forget the welfare of souls, just push the agendas that feed into the world, the flesh and the devil! When will the Novus Ordinarians wake up that they're being fleeced of their faith and everything else!?!

  • 'Pope' Boteach uses Arafat's death to spew his vicious agenda against a holy Pope It was only a matter of time before that viper who so viciously attacked Mel Gibson for his Passion of The Christ would re-emerge from his snake hole. This time the death of terrorist Yassir Arafat has stirred the coals of Rabbi Schmuley Boteach. Instead of seeing a like terrorist in his own country's leader Ariel Sharon, he takes a potshot at a very holy Pope. No, that would definitely not be John Paul II, but Pope Pius XII as Schmuley regurgitates more lies and slander against a man who did all in his power to save the Jews. That is documented, but it means nothing to Schmuley who has to continue the hate against good Papa Pacelli. 'Pope' Boteach admonishes John Paul II for his obvious and foolish admiration of Arafat and maybe those who have given themselves over to mammon will finally realize Karol Wojtyla, the darling of the world, can't even please them anymore for to his regime no one is evil except those wishing to return to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. As Gary Morella pointed out, "As a result of the Vatican incredibly painting the father of modern terrorism as a benign leader with sadness at his death, the professional Catholic haters like Boteach have come out of their holes to once again castigate the Faith by resurrecting a well-known litany of lies. It's not enough that the Vatican has spokesmen who tell us that no one need convert to the true Faith any longer, that Voodoo priests deserve an ecumenical forum, that Masses said for those who died to keep paganism out of the Church can be celebrated with pagan rites, and incredibly, no spokesman whatsoever who will admit to the fact that there is a problem with sodomite priests who need to be rooted out from every diocese in the world. Now we are treated to the spectacle of Rome de facto honoring a murdering thug by giving a message of 'appreciation for his leadership.' I thought the end justifying the means was not a part of Catholic teaching." Well said. We can accept Boteach's reservations, especially when the modern Vatican has gone out of its way to praise Islam, but when he attacks Pius XII, well them's fightin' words, Rabbi, and we will not stand for such slander!

  • The specter of betrayal - Arlen Specter and his resistance to his Party and Pro-Life Perhaps it is fitting that Bush will face problems from the man he helped re-elect in Pennsylvania. Staunch pro-lifer Pat Toomey was ganged up on by Bush and supposedly pro-life "Catholic" Senator Rick Santorum in order to enable liberal moderate and pro-death Republican Specter to win renomination. Santorum's reasoning? Toomey wouldn't be strong enough to defeat the Democratic opponent. Says who? Well, now he and Bush and the rest of the GOP have to deal with this renegade who many fear might become head of the Senate Judiciary Committee and give the President more headaches in Supreme Court appointments. Specter may be the pro-death advocates' last chance but fortunately pro-lifers everywhere are outraged and fighting back.

  • THE STRAIGHT STUFF
Griff Ruby steadies his arrows at the topic of schism and begins in this issue a two-part essay on what exactly schism is and who really is in schism. He details the logistics to show that it is truly misunderstood and that, more often than not - especially when emanating from those in support of the Vatican II church - the ones truly guilty of schism are those that separate themselves from any traditional Catholics whatsoever, traditional Catholics being who have upheld all of the authentic teachings of the Church, and therefore rejecting the alien modernist “gospel” of V-2 in obedience to St. Paul’s admonition in Galatians 1:8-10. While heresy and apostasy are sins against Faith, schism is a sin against Charity. Many bandy about the term in denigrating those who do not agree with them, thus, perhaps not even realizing that they are committing the sin of schism. Yet, where there is schism then at most only one side can be with Christ and the other against per Our Lord's words in Matthew 6: 24. Griff explains in The Essence of Schism Part ONE

    Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica sounds the clarion to signal all of the existing grotesque dragon which advances at the gate. This three-headed beast mocks the Holy Trinity and all that God holds sacred by slithering into civilization in the secular sector primarily because the ecclesial sector did not safeguard the drawbridge of infrangible doctrines and reinforce the ramparts against the savage beast's fiery projectiles of godlessness. As morals lapse, those seeking God's will grow thinner, yet they are the valiant knights who will dig in their heels to fight this vicious reptilian spirit of wickedness on high. Gabriel identifies the purpose of the different heads, all connected to the massive body of perdition seeking to sear souls in the fiery pit of hell. It is time to rise up and slay The Dragon
    Living our Faith
We continue with our revised series on emphasizing the practical aspect of our Faith from a totally Traditional Catholic perspective. In this issue we focus on the most important goal of each and every soul: their eternal salvation. Christ clearly delineated how one can be saved: Believe and be baptized. Likewise, He concluded without a doubt what would happen to those who did not: they would be condemned. Those are not our words, but the Son of God's! That is why we provide this feature for we feel confident that these catechetical "points of enlightenment" will help more Catholics better understand their Faith, especially those who were not blessed with early formation of the Faith in the home and their parish school. Regardless of where any Catholic is in his or her journey toward salvation, he or she has to recognize that the Faith they were initiated into at the Sacrament of Baptism, making them truly members of the Mystical Body of Christ, is the most precious gift they have been given in life. If they truly want to live their Faith as it was taught in the Church of Peter to Pius XII, they must know the Faith and live it as Traditional Catholics. That is the only way to KEEP THE FAITH! Thus, in this issue we share the Church's doctrines on The Church and Salvation

    LAST ISSUE'S FEATURES

For the more recent articles before the last issue, see below

    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Twenty-Fifth and Final Sunday After Pentecost, he highlights the focus of this last Sunday of the liturgical year - celebration of the Church Triumphant - our final goal. He points out how Holy Mother Church made sure that those recognized as worthy of saints, which assured to all the faithful that that particular person was indeed in Heaven, passed first through the fire of extreme testing to make absolutely sure of their certain holiness. To assure this, the Church had to have signs from Heaven to ascertain that, indeed, God had approved by providing at least two supernatural miracles. This meant that, at times, it might take decades, centuries, even a millennium before someone was elevated. Father emphasizes how exclusive a 'club' it truly was and should be. Yet, with the advent of the Modernists, all common sense and prudence was discarded as John Paul II began a marathon of trying to beatify and canonize as many as he could in order to please everyone, and in so doing weaken the prestige of the saints where today heroic virtue is relative. Without the necessary procedure of the devil's advocate, a canonization is null and void. So those praying to men like Jose Escriva, don't be too sure there will be any intercession. That is because, try as Modernist Rome has to obliterate the Canon Law of 1917, the True Church has always maintained that if the scrutiny of devil's advocate is not employed, the canonization is invalid. While the church of Vatican II has left countless souls in the dark, we can take consolation in the fact that God will not forget "The Lot of the Saints in Light"

    Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi
Kevin Tierney compares the Feast dedicated to Christ as Sovereign King of all His subjects universally. Because Kevin did not cover the Traditional Feast on October 31, he has taken the Proper from that Sunday for the Solemnity of Christ the Supreme King and compares it to the last Sunday in Ordinary Time, which the newChurch has made Christ the King Sunday. Because there is no way to compare the Last Sunday After Pentecost with the Novus Ordo observation of the final Sunday before Advent, Kevin has chosen to match comparable texts in order to show how different they really are. Though there are a few texts that are identical such as the Traditional Epistle and the Second Reading in the NOM, the choice of Gospels is a dead give-away as to what the New Order does not want to admit or totally submit. In effect, one needs to look behind the mask of the vernacular jester to see what their real agenda is as Kevin has been exposing over these many weeks. In realizing this, we can more readily see why we have seen so many abuses in the New Order rite with little regard to the reverence and unchangeability of what was divinely ordained and set in stone with the Latin Mass of Tradition. This is obvious in the comparisons of the Traditional Proper for the Solemnity of the Supreme Kingship of Jesus Christ and the Novus Ordo Christ the King Sunday as Kevin illustrates in his column The Vernacular Jester in Christ the King's Court
    Living our Faith
We continue with our revised series on emphasizing the practical aspect of our Faith from a totally Traditional Catholic perspective. In this issue we focus on the indefectability of the Church just as Jesus assured in Matthew 28: 20, "Behold, I am with you all days, even unto the consummation of the world" God cannot deceive nor be deceived. Therefore we need to weigh what the conciliar popes and new church has conveyed with what Holy Mother Church always taught in order to see where the true Church truly is and that She is unchangeable. More proof the modern church cannot be the true Church for she has abdicated at least two of the four indelible Marks of the Church - One and Holy. Thus, in this issue we share the Church's doctrines on The Indefectability of the Church
    Traditional Insights
Mario Derksen packs a powerful punch with his second installment on his two part exposé on what happened in the 1958 and 1963 conclaves that has thrown all of Christendom into a vortex of confusion and left so many without God's protection as he illustrates how the Church truly has been in eclipse, just as Our Lady warned at La Salette. Mario avers that, "Like the sun during a solar eclipse, the True Pope, and thus the True Church, is there and visible, but blocked from vision. Still, a faint outer corona can be seen for those who look hard enough. I believe that the entire Novus Ordo Church with its hierarchy and 'Popes' is blocking the vision of the True Church and the True Pope." He bases these findings on mounting evidence corroborated through secular, governmental, and ecclesial documentation, that the election of Cardinal Angelo Roncalli - and Giovanni Montini five years later and subsequent elections after that - were invalid, and that is exactly what the Freemasons were counting on to assure their men would not be protected by the Holy Ghost in the Modernists', Masons', and Communists' efforts to destroy the last remaining obstacle to their godless globalization agenda: The One True Church founded by Christ! Mario details in his column in part two of his two-part essay on Eclipse of the Church: 1958 and Beyond
    Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica takes note of the dark landscape modern advertising has taken in promising everything and delivering nothing. The gray, dark tones, almost void of color, seem to permeate television screens and magazine ads, selling hopes but never Hope. Marshall McCluhan once said the medium is the message, but the message today is lost in the sizzle, not in selling the steak, as much as what is at stake - the hot coals of hell where consumers are being softened to accept whatever the devil has to sell. The saddest part is that so many are buying it lock, stock and hellbent to sell their souls for a fleeting second of satisfaction that quickly dissipates as fast as a 15 second commercial. What is equally as sad is that the Church could have prevented this destruction had the Modernists not infiltrated her. He explains in his column for this issue Persuasion, Propaganda, Products and Politics = Perdition
    Living our Faith
We continue with our revised series on emphasizing the practical aspect of our Faith from a totally Traditional Catholic perspective. In this issue we focus on the infallibility of the Church just as Jesus assured in John 14, "I will ask the Father and He will give you another Advocate to dwell with you forever…But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your mind whatever I have said to you." God cannot deceive nor be deceived. Therefore we need to weigh what the conciliar popes and new church has conveyed with what Holy Mother Church always taught in order to see where the true Church truly is. Thus, in this issue we share the Church's doctrines on The Infallibility of the Church
    Gabriel's Clarion
In Gabriel Garnica's column for this issue, he exposes the total hypocrisy of Hollywood and the sodomite agenda both in the media, medical and clergy. With the release of the film Kinsey praising infamous pedophile propagandist Alfred Kinsey, played by ex-Catholic Liam Neeson, the hypocrisy is so thick that even satan might blush at the boldness of the Hollywood elites and progressives in pushing this trash movie and the blatant lies that purposely seek to cover up who Kinsey was - a child of lucifer whose work has led billions to the depths of eternal damnation! While the film is subtitled, "Sex, The Measure of All Things," all would be wise to heed what Our Lady imparted to the visionaries at Fatima: more souls are in hell for the sins of the flesh than any other sin!" Gabriel reveals what is truly behind the mask in his column "And Lead Us Not Into Temptation...or Hypocrisy"
    Living our Faith
We continue with our revised series on emphasizing the practical aspect of our Faith from a totally Traditional Catholic perspective. In this issue we provide the foundation - the Cornerstone of the Church - Christ Himself who is the Founder of the only One True Church outside of which there is No Salvation (The thrice-defined Dogma - Extra Ecclesiam Nullam Salus). Compare these clear and certain teachings with what the conciliar church has perpetrated in watering down the Faith so insidiously over the past 40 years that it is no longer recognizable as Catholic. Thus, in this issue we share the Church's stance on The Authority of the Church
    Christ or chaos
Judge Al GonzalesJudge Sandra Day O'ConnorPresident Bush
The announcement of President Bush's appointment of White House Counsel Judge Alberto Gonzales as Attorney General proves sadly that Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey was right on in his prognostication about this staunch pro-abort Latino. Tom warned in an article on January 15, 2001 in his Christ or chaos that Bush would eventually elevate Gonzales and for pro-lifers not to be fooled by the President's rhetoric. In the aftermath of this most recent election when the strong Christian vote for morality swung the election for Bush, this wasn't what most of those voters had expected. Dr. Droleskey could say today, "I told you so" for the most recent action by Bush is just more of the ol' shiftiness - whether it comes from Washington or modern Rome, it's still skimble-skamble and wrong! Tom's words from over three years ago have come back to haunt us all as you'll see in his retro column Sandra Day O'Connor, Part Deux
    "Qui legit, intelligat"
Used with permission from Lorenzo Gigliotti of www.therandomtimes.com
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Twenty-Fourth Sunday After Pentecost, he compares what Christ commanded to what is being peddled by the Vatican II church today, a direct contradiction to Our Lord's charge as well as Pope Pius IX's assertive words that we must do all in our power to "rescue them from the darkness of the errors into which they have unhappily fallen and strive to bring them back to Catholic truth." He identifies the cavalier attitude of the newChurch in placating pagan religions while selling out the true Faith. The Faith of the hierarchy of the modern church cannot seem to comprehend the parables Christ spoke which are "hidden from the foundation of the world," and consequently, the faith of the modern church is so weak that it has caved to the world, the flesh and the devil by approving the non-Catholics in their error, a grave heresy that has and will continue to deny countless souls from attaining everlasting life. Father points out the bad fruits of the false religion of Vatican II and how fruitless are their works in contrast to Paul's words in Colossians 1: 10 "Fruitful in Every Good Work"
    Gabriel's Clarion
In Gabriel Garnica's column for this issue, he rails at those who clamor for social justice, yet justify the killing of the unborn. Gabriel points out clearly that without the ultimate social justice morality, justice is blind. He equates the plight of the slaves in earlier times and sees no difference except this slavery is much, much worse for the victim has no way to defend himself. Indeed a much more treacherous slavery has returned with a vengeance. Gabriel shows that there is no social justice if we continue to allow such a vile injustice as abortion to rule the land! He explains in his column Pro-Life: The Ultimate Social Justice Morality
    Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi
We continue with the second part of a multi-part essay on the charismatic movement in the modern church. While Kevin Tierney has been bringing you this series most Sundays in comparing the Propers of the Mass of the Traditional Latin Mass and the Novus Ordo, the title of this feature "Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi" also extends to ways in which one prays determining how one believes. The charismatic movement, which John Paul II is on record as boasting as the "greatest movement in Church history" is, like the rest of the conciliar church, heading for oblivion. Kevin points out in the second part how the wisdom and guidance offered by the holy Doctor of the Church St. John of the Cross contradicts the over-eager charismatic agenda today and invites satan right in the front door. He continues to expose the pitfalls in his treatise with part two on Musings on the Charismatic Movement
The Sanity of Sanctity
We continue our recent tradition of bringing you the Litany of Saints for the Saints and Feasts of November, the original concept submitted by Jacob Michael in September. Need some impetus to pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory? What we provide is a litany to all of the saints whose feast days are celebrated in the month of November. Many of these saints are little-known and often are not, for that reason, invoked in our prayers. Just as almost all in Purgatory are forsaken today by the post-conciliar church. If you add this short litany to your daily Rosary, you will have the benefit of invoking the prayers of some of these lesser-known saints for November. Litany of the November Saints
    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Twenty-Third Sunday After Pentecost, he illustrates how suffering has a purpose; not a physical purpose as much as a spiritual purpose for just as gold is tested in the fire and purified, so also we must pass through our own flames of penance and sacrifice here on earth in order to be cleansed of our sins and to work in reparation for our sins and those of others as members of the Church Militant. Just as Christ shed every drop of His blood to merit for us the reward of Heaven, so also in today's Gospel He purifies the blood of the ill woman in a miracle that tells volumes, for He did not say "Thy blood has saved you," but rather "Thy faith has saved you." While those who do not accept Christ and all His teachings ridicule and scorn Him and His followers, those who realize the treasure Christ can form, are filled with hope and are willing to undergo whatever suffering God so wills for us for, as Father emphasizes, "all things work together unto good." He explains in his sermon "Take Courage...your faith has saved you."
    STRAIGHT STUFF
Griff Ruby offers a refreshing honeycomb of hope and common sense for all Traditional Catholics. He recommends we all stop the name calling and seek to win conservative Novus Ordo believers over to true Catholic thinking and practice by loving them to death, for, as he explains, down deep they really want to be Catholic, but just don't realize how far they have veered from the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. Griff points out it isn't always their fault if they don't know and we shouldn't lump them in with the "cafeteria 'Catholics'" who are anything but. He rationalizes that many traditionalists came from the same place for indeed we were once in their shoes and should more readily be able to understand their angst and confusion. We just need to give them a shove and the best way to shove is by hugging 'em. He explains in his column Have you hugged your local conservative Novus Ordo believer lately?
    Living our Faith
We continue with our revised series on emphasizing the practical aspect of our Faith from a totally Traditional Catholic perspective. In this issue we provide the foundation - the Cornerstone of the Church - Christ Himself who is the Founder of the only One True Church outside of which there is No Salvation (The thrice-defined Dogma - Extra Ecclesiam Nullam Salus). Compare these clear and certain teachings with what the conciliar church has perpetrated in watering down the Faith so insidiously over the past 40 years that it is no longer recognizable as Catholic. Thus, in this issue we share The Foundation of the Church
    Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica begins a series in which he summarizes various aspects of the recent national election and what it portends. He begins with the irony of the sheep, for to the world the "lost" sheep are those who know their Shepherd and He knows them, while the "found" sheep are really floundering among the wolves, oblivious to the imminent danger to their souls. They have failed to heed Our Lord's warning in Mark 8: 36, "For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" Fortunately, John Kerry did not gain the White House, and hopefully he will come to his senses and regain his soul. Gabriel explains in his column Counting Sheep
    Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi
Kevin Tierney is dizzy from all the spinning of a modern Christ as the Novus Ordo does and once again he shows more examples of how the architects of the conciliar church's liturgy skewer the truth in such ambiguous terms that leave those trying to follow it in a total fog. He shows how over the last 40 years so much has been compromised and it is evident in the watered down liturgy. Whereas, those clinging to the Rite of the Traditional Latin Mass, are strengthened through grace and determination, realizing the why and how which is clear and concise, never compromised as Kevin points out in the comparisons of the Traditional Proper of the Twenty-Third Sunday After Pentecost with the Novus Ordo 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Great Compromise
    On the BattleLine
Atila Sinke Guimarães also analyzes the results of the recent election and determines some interesting lessons that can be extrapolated from the vox populi. He illustrates how the majority approved the war on terror and our existence in Iraq while not caving to Bin Laden's intimidation. Atila points out that what happened in Spain was not going to happen here because the terrorists underestimated the American voter. The main point, as Atila avers and has shocked so many liberal media wags, is that moral values was the key to keeping Kerry out of the White House and it was the Catholic vote which, for once, made the difference and the more Kerry spewed heresy, the more Catholics came to realize true Catholic teaching - a true silver lining in the clouds of consternation. Atila explains in his column Lessons From the Elections
    Quid Dicit Scriptura?
With today being the First Saturday of the month, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Jacob Michael shares statements from ten of the early Fathers of the Church which set in concrete the correlation of Our Lady as the Second Eve, just as her Divine Son was the Second Adam. From St. Justin Martyr to St. Fulgentius, Jacob provides three hundred years worth of solid doctrine on Mary presented by ten of the most esteemed early Fathers of the Church, including six Doctors of the Church. He intersperses it with commentary from a future saint, John Henry Cardinal Newman. Jacob lists the quotes in his column Ten Early Church Fathers on Mary/Eve
    Living our Faith
We continue with our revised series on emphasizing the practical aspect of our Faith from a totally Traditional Catholic perspective, we focus today on this First Saturday of the month, dedicated to Our Lady with a special symposium from My Catholic Faith on the Blessed Mother. It reaffirms what Jacob discloses above from the various Fathers and Doctors of the Church and shows that nothing in Holy Mother Church's teaching has changed and therefore we feel confident that these catechetical "points of enlightenment" will help more Catholics better understand their Faith, especially those who were not blessed with early formation of the Faith in the home and their parish school. Regardless of where any Catholic is in his or her journey toward salvation, he or she has to recognize that the Faith they were initiated into at the Sacrament of Baptism, making them truly members of the Mystical Body of Christ, is the most precious gift they have been given in life. Gabriel's Clarion
The Curse is over and Gabriel Garnica can finally salute the Boston Red Sox because Beantown is looking better this week with the threat of John Kerry flaunting his apostasy from the White House now impossible. Gabriel equates the Curse of the Bambino with the Curse of the Liar and shows how it was a clean sweep. Fenway has been purified, the ghosts of Billy Buck and the rest of the wrenching near misses have been freed, while Beacon Hill still has Kerry, Pennsylvania Avenue will not and that is due to the Vox populi as Gabriel explains in his column Truly the Boston Curse has been Reversed!
    Living our Faith
We continue with our revised series on emphasizing the practical aspect of our Faith from a totally Traditional Catholic perspective, we focus today on those to whom Christ charged with continuing the teachings He imparted - His Apostles. Nothing in Holy Mother Church's teaching has changed and therefore we feel confident that these catechetical "points of enlightenment" will help more Catholics better understand their Faith, especially those who were not blessed with early formation of the Faith in the home and their parish school. Regardless of where any Catholic is in his or her journey toward salvation, he or she has to recognize that the Faith they were initiated into at the Sacrament of Baptism, making them truly members of the Mystical Body of Christ, is the most precious gift they have been given in life. FOCUS
Les Femmes' Mary Ann Kreitzer points out that Bush's election was a rejection of the immorality promoted by the left-wing Democrats and not as much an endorsement of Bush himself. She warns that the President should not listen to such traitors as Senator Arlen Specter, but rather pay attention to the pulse of the country. America has illustrated only too well by its vote that the red carpet must be laid out for a return to moral family values in which Our Lord and Savior comes first, and the country has soundly rejected the abominations promoted by the left because they undermine Christian principles and Catholic truth. She focuses on this in her column The Election's Over, Our Work is Just Beginning
