A Must Read!
Few scholars have the thorough acumen to trace and document the why, what, when, where, how and who as Atila has done in his marvelous Eli, Eli, Lamma Sabacthani? collection which, book by book, exposes the the massive, murky mess that has been created as a result of the Vatican II agenda. His latest book above Vatican II, Homosexuality and Pedophilia is key to understanding the purpose and rationale of those who would twist the Sacred Deposit of the Faith to accommodate sin and who must be exposed and eradicated for the welfare of Holy Mother Church. It is a must read in order to alert all to how deep the rot goes and why the scandal in America was really only the tip of the iceberg. We encourage you also to read Gary Morella's review of Vatican II, Homosexuality and Pedophilia.

For those who truly want to delve deeper into what the Faith teaches and what past Sovereign Pontiffs have decreed, we recommend for your vital reading to better KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH, pertinent Papal decrees which put to the lie what is being promulgated today by the Vatican II church. Tower of Trent Tribute
Monday we began presenting the Tower of Trent Trophy to those the majority of voters chose among the living - those who carry on the good fight in keeping the Faith and preserving the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. There are eight and we've broken it down by honoring first those members of the clergy and then the last three will be the three outstanding lay honorees. In beginning with the clergy alphabetically it was no coincidence that we honored first Father Gommar A. De Pauw, a Belgian-born priest who has been a priest for 62 years and still going strong for the years have been good to him as God has preserved his noble general of Tradition. Father has seen action on the front line of the wars - the Second World War where he was a medic and then later a Chaplain, and later at Vatican II where he was a personal expert and "procurator" and saw first hand how the Rhine was indeed flowing into the Tiber for the subterfuge wrought from that 21st Council would so throw Holy Mother Church into a terrible malaise over the next 40 years. While Father was cooperative in many things, he would never say the Novus Ordo and, indeed was the first priest to establish the Catholic Traditionalist Movement before Vatican II had even come to completion. Before Cardinal Ottaviani ever penned his Intervention, before Archbishop Lefebvre ever established the Society, Fr. De Pauw began the preservation of the Faith with the CTM (Catholic Traditionist Movement). Thus for his long service for Our Lord and Our Lady, we proudly presented the

Christ or chaos

Dr. Droleskey weighed in with a "Double Dose of Droleskey" as we presented two articles. One dealt with what the problems really are and where they can be fixed: at the top as he called the Holy Father to task for his rejection of the Social Kingship of Christ and for his selling out the True Faith through ecumenism in which the pope claims the God Who Catholics worship is the same One the Muslims worship. How can that be? It cannot and Tom shared the sad facts that this pontiff needs to awake to the terrible malaise he has allowed the Church to sink and right the ship before it is too late. It should give those who think this pope is a good pope or doesn't know what is going on a chance to rethink such irrationalization considering the facts as Tom pointed out in his column More Than a Matter of Governance
As part of the double header, if you will, we brought you a bonus column in which Tom went right after the Fatima issue we broke a few days ago from the Portugal News, and the pope's indifferentism to Our Lady's mission which through Tom's syllogisms shows a vast gulf between what was Catholic and what passes as 'Catholic' today. Tom took no prisoners in blaming the pope for the scandalous actions and inactions of his bishops, specifically Bishop Seraphim Ferreira e Silva of Fatima who is no Fr. Michael McMahon as Dr. Droleskey pointed out in Indifferentism's Rotten Fruit
SUNDAY - May 23:
Tower of Trent Tribute

Sunday we completed our presentation of the Crimson Cross - the posthumous arena for 7 of the 15 charter recipients of the Tower of Trent Trophy. Our seventh recipient listed alphabetically was a priest who toed the line of the Vatican II changes until he'd had enough when he realized in 1977 that those to whom he must be obedient were not being obedient to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church, and therefore being disobedient to God. Realizing the path had just grown narrower, he resisted the unlawful command of his bishop to give communion in the hand and stood up to the apostate bishops against such a sacrilege. Rather than fleeing the land, he dug in and, in his indomitable Texan-style reminiscent of John Wayne, set about to revive the Old Faith in the Los Angeles area for the next 25 years. Through his efforts he established a school in Garden Grove which is thriving today and one of the few places in the largest diocese in the U.S. where there is a daily Traditional Mass. The fruits of his work grow stronger every day. He died at the age of 87 on Our Lady's Saturday on September 28, 2002, having harvested a heritage of good fruits during the last 25 years of his noble priesthood laboring for God's lambs. We were proud to present posthumously to this no-nonsense Texan of Tradition the Crimson Cross award and

"Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Sunday Within the Octave of the Ascension of Our Lord, he emphasized the need for prayer. Just as Jesus promised He would send His Spirit after He ascended and the Apostles were told to wait and pray, so also in this time when Christ's True Church has seemingly become an orphan, we can take hope in knowing that Christ will never abandon us. But we must do our part for as the Word of God affirms these things are written on our hearts. In other words it is instinctive, but the devil does all he can to blot this out with distractions that prompt us - due to our human nature from the effects of Original Sin - to lower our guard and give in to temptation. That is why the only antidote is prayer and entreating the Holy Ghost to imbue us with the fruits of the Sanctifier to strengthen us in our resolve to fend off the world, the flesh and the devil. Father pointed out that the New Order does not help, cannot because it is not divinely ordered. He wrote, "What happens to the individual Christian who is not 'prudent and watchful in prayers' happens on a grand scale to the whole of society. Without Christ the King and a solid foundation in Christian principles, the nations are on the road to perdition, quickly sliding to their doom." This is what is happening and yet, we know in our hearts that the only means of spiritual survival is to return to the divinely ordained tried and true in order to survive the wiles of the devil. It is

Kevin Tierney reflected Sunday on some stark omissions in the Novus Ordo readings which are purposely left out in order to deny that while God is loving and merciful, He is equally just and rightfully vengeful. The omissions point out the obvious denial by the New Order of the existence of hell and the fact many go there who do not heed God's holy will. Kevin points out that while those subscribing to the Novus Ordo may "talk the talk" they can never "walk the walk" because they have eliminated part of the Word in order to remain in their comfort zone and be in harmony with the humanistic Protestant concept that all are saved who just say "Jesus saves." Catholic truth proves otherwise, for there is much more Our Lord asks of His children and Kevin showed how we apply what we pray only in the Traditional Rite of the Immemorial Mass. Kevin illustrated this quite clearly in his comparison of Propers of the Sunday Within the Octave of the Ascension of Our Lord in the Traditional Rite with the Novus Ordo Seventh Sunday of Easter in Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi
Saturday - May 22:
On Saturday we honored the sixth of the seven listed alphabetically posthumously. He was a priest whom the esteemed Dr. Dietrich von Hildebrand, a fellow recipient of the Tower of Trent Trophy this past Tuesday, called a fearless defender of the Faith - Fidei Defensor. He was born into a large Italian immigrant family in New York City in 1915 and growing up knew little of the gods of atheism or the Antichrist but his experiences and schooling would prepare him well to warn others of the terrible curse that visited this nation during the last half of the twentieth century and now threatens to explode early in the twenty-first century. Were it not for his deep abiding Faith and love for Christ, he could easily have gone the way of apostasy and liberal theology as so many of his fellow Jesuits did. Indeed God protected His faithful servant from the ravages of heresy and schism even though he had been exposed to these terrors in Rome and state-side. Because he knew his Faith, he was able to identify the problems and was chosen to alert others of the evils that were determined to wipe out Catholicism world-wide. He is best remembered for three books that should be required reading in every home: Gods of Atheism', 'The Roots of Violence', and Antichrist'. He succumbed to cancer shortly after the last book came out and yet, through his work he will be remembered as we honored this Fearless Fidei Defensor today with the

Gabriel Garnica addressed in his column the total illogical reasoning of the relativist who make no sense with their illogical rubbish such as "I am pro-choice, but not pro-abortion," or "I am all for the homosexuals, but not for same sex marriage." Recently this same crazy logic has been applied by pro-abort pro-sodomite 'Catholic' politicians in lashing out at the few bishops who have decided to uphold Catholic doctrine and adhere to the Apostle Paul's infallible words in 1 Corinthians 11: 27, "Wherefore, whoseover shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord." Gabriel pointed out that the reason these excuses are even allowed is because those who should be the guardians of the Faith are moral cowards and unreliable from the pope on down. Basically, as Garnica syllogized, one cannot count on cowards to come through when the chips are down. Political correctness, fashion and fads be damned, there is only one course to follow and that is the path that has been forged by the tried troopers of Truth and Tradition. To veer from that path is most dangerous and will be very, very harmful to one's spiritual health. All the foolish talk about the dangers of using 'communion as a weapon' are nothing but smokescreens to deflect the truth that few bishops are ready to be uncompromising and few politicians are ready to comply with true Catholic doctrine. While they gather up all the fool's gold they can, they pass the priceless treasures of real gold at their fingertips. Sad and tragic, especially when it comes time for accounting for their worth. Gabriel explained in his column

Friday - May 21:
Tower of Trent Tribute
Continuing in our presentation of the Crimson Cross in the posthumous arena we honored on Friday the son of German immigrants, Walter L. Matt who came from a long line of Catholic lay journalists. His grandfather launched the German-language Wanderer, and his father, Joseph Matt, a Papal Knight of St. Gregory (K.S.G.), founded the English-language Wanderer -- still the oldest Catholic weekly newspaper in the United States. Walter Matt was an editor of The Wanderer for some thirty years before he founded The Remnant in 1967 of which he was the editor/publisher for some twenty-five more years. Over his long, fifty-some years in the Catholic press apostolate, he wrote countless studies on countless different topics, concerning both the Catholic Church and the secular State. He was a highly decorated veteran of World War II and was still active in the fight to restore the traditions of the Catholic Church until his death in 2002 at 87 years of age where he passed away in the odor of sanctity at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota on April 21st, the 8th day within the Octave of the Solemnity of St. Joseph. Walter Matt is generally regarded as one of the pioneer founders of the Traditional Catholic Movement in the United States. And so, in respect to his accomplishments and the example he set in word and action, we take great delight in presenting to this trailblazer of Truth and Tradition, the
Tower of Trent Trophy to Sir Walter L. Matt
A Chronicle of Catholic Tradition

In the eighteenth installment of our on-going mega-series on "A Chronicle of Catholic Tradition" in chronicling the history of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and Holy Mother Church, we arrive at the 5th century. It was a time of moral depravity corroding the Roman Empire quite similar to the breakdown of the moral fabric in the United States today when anything goes. In addition the Arian heresy had taken a great toll and that had given rise to more heresies just as we have today in the twenty-first century with the widespread acceptance of what Pope St. Pius X called the "synthesis of all heresies" - Modernism. From this bleak horizon God rose up two stalwart heroes to defy the odds and reassert the Church's growing influence on all of Christendom. One was a determined bishop who forsook riches to follow his missionary spirit in bringing the True Faith to the pagan Emerald Isle conveying the Creed through the simple, natural beauty and clarity of God's green shamrock, so abundant in the land he converted. St. Patrick was his name and his feats are legendary. In Rome, a holy Pope was elected and strength returned to the papacy with the convocation of two major ecumenical councils and the heroic, courageous action of meeting the "scourge of God" Attila the Hun at the gates of Rome where, through Divine intervention, the barbarian turned back from sure sacking of the eternal city. Holiness rises out of the ashes of Depravity and Heresy
Ascension Thursday-May 20:
Tower of Trent Tribute
We honored on Thursday the priest who authored several best-sellers, such as The Jesuits, Hostage to the Devil, The Vatican, The Keys of This Blood, The Final Conclave, and his final one Windswept House to name a few of his page-turning thrilling novels on the Church. Though he passed nearly five years ago, it took until now for his former Vicar General of the Jesuits to exonerate this man who was so maligned. The truth which we have always maintained is that Father Malachi Brendan Martin was indeed granted a full and legal dispensation from his Jesuit vows of obedience, but not from celibacy. He was given a perpetual celebret to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in private. Finally his reputation has been restored as it should and we take great delight in presenting to this warrior of the word, this scribe of intrigue and inspiration
Tower of Trent Trophy to Father Malachi Martin
"Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for Ascension Thursday, he followed Our Lord's final command in Mark 16: 15-16 in going back to basics. Things have become too complicated over the past 40 years and one reason is to cover up the obvious subterfuge that conceals the true Faith, masqueraded as Catholicism today. In truth, what passes as 'Catholic' today is nothing but Protestantism for, as Father pointed, out the bishops who signed the documents of Vatican II placed themselves in schism for what they signed was condemned by holy pontiffs who foresaw the mortal cancer of Modernism. Father reminds us of St. Paul's words regarding the faithful's superiors "Consider how they ended their lives, and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday and today, yes, and forever." God does not change and neither does the means of salvation as Christ established in the salvific New Covenant. Yet if we are to believe the Modernists, the faith is ever evolving and changing. Anathema at its gravest and yet so few have a clue. Father entreated all to "Keep the Faith" which begins and ends with preserving the Immemorial Holy Sacrifice of Tradition. While the generals and most of the commanders have cowardly abandoned ship and so meekly waved the surrender flag to the enemy, it is left to the few who remain faithful to defend the ramparts at all costs! Wednesday - May 19:
Tower of Trent Tribute

Continuing in our presentation of the Crimson Cross - the posthumous arena for 7 of the 15 charter recipients of the Tower of Trent Trophy - we honored on Wednesday the third of the seven alphabetically. That is, of course the noble French Archbishop who stood fast by Tradition when seemingly all others abandoned the house of God. For his transgression of obeying God before man, he was greatly persecuted. In his honor we present today a tribute to the modern Apostle of Tradition, who, rather than caving under pressure by so many of his cohorts, stuck to his guns and was loyal to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church as he walked his own Calvary in rejection and even illegal excommunication from the Church he so loved. Father Ramon Anglais, who provided the biography used for His Excellency, wrote "In the fluctuations of history God raises extraordinary men and women charged with a particular mission. Without them, the face of the world and the Church would not be the same today." The Great Facade of the Vatican II Revolution has managed to pollute the minds of so many Catholics as to the holiness of this man and the fact Archbishop Lefebvre was right in doing what he did for the welfare of Holy Mother Church. And so it was fitting that we honored posthumously and presented the
Tower of Trent Trophy to Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre
Traditional Insights
Mario Derksen resumed his excellent analysis of Pope Pius XI's solid and absolute encyclical Mortalium animos. In light of all the bafflegab and ecumania streaming out of modern Rome, His Holiness Pope Pius XI's words ring truer than ever for he warned back in 1928 against the very insanity that has run wild over the past several decades and grows worse by the year, by the month, by the day. Mario provided the proof that ecumenism is not just a grave error, but an anathema which, in effect, is apostasy pure and simple for it denies the infallible truths that the Catholic Church is the only true Ark of Salvation. Mario showed how Pius affirmed the mandatory dogma of Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus, and how today the modernists deny it as he provided the third installment on An Analysis of the Encyclical Mortalium Animos

Tuesday - May 18:
Tower of Trent Tribute

Continuing alphabetically with the 'H's, we honored and enshrined on Tuesday in the Tower of Trent Hall of Honor a man whom Pope Pius XII stated was the eminent philosopher of the 20th Century, and could truly be a Doctor of the Church for modern times were he canonized. Considering the factory of saints being churned out in modern times, that could be a possibility but let us not rush such exalted finality of honors for the man honored today would not subscribe to such instantaneous sanctity. He was a disciple of what Holy Mother Church taught for centuries and found in Her the truths, wisdom and logic he had sought. He was a man who spanned the trials and travails of the turbulent twentieth century from World War I through very harrowing times in World War II to the Revolution of the sixties and Vatican II. He warned post-conciliar popes of the grave error of following in this path and wrote two masterpieces The Devastated Vineyard and The Trojan Horse in the City of God in trying to warn the faithful of the folly followed by those committed to the reforms of Vatican II. He was a prolific writer who has left us many excellent works and is lionized in a biography by his second wife Dr. Alice von Hildebrand Soul of a Lion. We presented posthumously, the

Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica called to task those politicians and bishops who are truly "Frauds of the Faith." In this year when finally the public from the faithful to the secular media are watching the bishops carefully, especially on the whole pro-abortion and pro-sodomy agenda the true shepherds will shine if they stand by Catholic doctrine and do not wash their hands of their apostolic responsibility before God and their flocks. The bishops must pull the lever on the Frauds of the Faith posing as politicians who disregard the tenets of the Faith in favor of the favors of mammon. Gabriel calls the bishops and politicians to be Saint Thomas Beckets in turning their backs on treasures and rewards of this fleeting world for how we live in this world, what we choose, will determine where we spend eternity. Gabriel explained in his column Frauds of the Faith
Monday - May 17:
Tower of Trent Trophy
We kick off our tribute to the charter recipients of the Tower of Trent Hall of Honor with the first of fifteen so honored this year. Going alphabetically, we begin today by honoring and presenting the Tower of Trent Trophy posthumously to the man known as the "Lion of Campus" - Bishop Antonio de Castro Mayer. He was a wiry, small frail man whose courage was taller and fuller than the mighty rain forests of his beloved Brazil. The love in his veins for Jesus and His Blessed Mother and the one True Faith of Tradition stretched further and flowed freer than the Amazon tributaries of his land. His exclamation of the True Faith shone over his country as majestically as the towering statue of Christ high above Sao Paulo. This Lion of Brazil was the determined, loyal field marshal of the epic battle against Fideicide as he rallied and maintained the last Traditional Diocese in the world, all in a humble corner of South America. He was Dom Antonio de Castro Mayer, Bishop of Campos, Brazil who was called home on the Feast of Saint Mark, the Evangelist representing the Lion - April 25, 1991 at the age of 87.
Tower of Trent Trophy to Bishop de Castro Mayer
Christ or chaos
We want to bring your attention to an excellent article by Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey on how huge fizzures are beginning to show in the false wall of episcopal collegiality. True to Our Lady's prophecies at La Salette, bishops are against bishops as the facade of unity among the bishops begins to crack. Tom shows that God does indeed allow bad for good and it is the scandalous sacrilege of John Kerry and other pro-abort politicians deliberately causing scandal by daring to receive communion in the Novus Ordo rite which has caused the cracks that grow wider and wider as the dam gets ready to totally collapse into open recognition of the already American Apostasy from the Church. Just as the Anglican church is in total turmoil because of collegiality, so also it is inevitable in the American Catholic Church. Tom identifies the situation in hopes of saving souls from capsizing. He reminds us there is only one safe landing, the solid foundation of the rock. Yet most are fleeing to the sands of innovation, unaware of its sinking nature. He elaborates in his latest column on his site, Another Part of the Great Facade Begins to Crumble
SUNDAY - May 16:
"Qui intelligat, legat"

In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Fifth Sunday After Easter, he pointed out the inevitable as Christ asserts in Matthew 7: 20, "By their fruits you shall know them." Pope Pius XI laid out the blueprint so magnficently in his encyclical Quam Primas extolling the absolute necessity for promoting the Sovereign Kingship of Jesus Christ, but thanks to the Revolution that hoped-for reality has been overturned in favor of universalism and the here and now. By rejecting what Holy Mother Church always taught, we are now reaping the rewards of our disobedience with wars and rumors of more wars. Father deduced that it is ridiculous to blame the soldier for offenses when the commander has been lax. So also in the Church and society. Thus is the sorry web man has woven to block out the Son in search of utopia on earth, he has enmeshed himself in a black void. How can one see in the darkness? They cannot and yet they go about blindly in the pitch black, guided only by the spurring on of the prince of the world. The Light can only shine from one source and the Modernists have done a good job in blotting it out. The only energy source to power up hope is prayer and a return to what previous Pontiffs and the saints preached, what the prophets of old foretold and what Sacred Scripture verifies. Father explained in his sermon.
"Worthy is the Lamb Who was slain"
Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi
Kevin Tierney reflected on the obvious omissions the Novus Ordo readings leave out in order to avoid admitting that the Old Testament was never salvific. To admit that, the New Church would have to also admit it is heretical to state that for others salvation exists outside the Catholic Church. In attempting to deceive the 'People of God' that we can all be saved through peace and love, the New Order rite is careful to be as ambiguous as possible. It contrasts greatly with the Traditional Proper which shows the why's and wherefore's and conveys a continuous, well-planned out theme for the salvation of souls and for the freedom and exaltation of Holy Mother the Church. Yet in the New Order, talk of the richness of the the house of God is shunned for the new thought is that the church should be poor, ignoring the Apostle John's passage in the Apocalypse that shows the church as the City of God, the city of gold. Yet, thanks to Paul VI selling out by pawning the Papal Tiara and the subsequent sell off over the decades of countless church properties the result has only been barren fruits. Rather than being rich is grace, the church today is poor and confused primarily because they have neglected the fullness of the Word and Christ's truths, veering from what the Church in her wisdom established for the faithful. Kevin illustrated two glaring obvious omissions to bring this point home in his comparison of Propers of the Fifth Sunday after Easter Traditional Rite with the Novus Ordo Sixth Sunday of Easter in Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi
Thurs-Fri-Sat - May 13-15:
Tower of Trent Hall of Honor

It was most appropriate and proper to initiate the Tower of Trent Awards on the 87th anniversary of Our Lady's first apparition at Fatima and the Feast of the holy Cardinal and Doctor of the Church Saint Robert Bellarmine who entreated all to uphold the Faith no matter what, even to resisting the Pope if he "endangers the faith." As we know the post-conciliar popes have greatly harmed souls and the fifteen honored in this inaugural presentation have been loyal to St. Robert's call as well as all the saints and most importantly to Christ Himself. Therefore we proudly present the TOWER OF TRENT Trophies in three categories.
Seven of the Recipients are being awarded the Trophy posthumously with the Crimson Cross, for though they did not die martyrs, they did not see the fulfillment of what they had sought - the freedom and exultation of Holy Mother Church - for all of these brave heroes died on the battlefield of Tradition vs. Modernism. They will be long remembered as we honor our fallen stalwart pioneers who spurred the rest on to hold fast to Tradition. To view those names chosen for charter membership in the Hall of Honor, see Tower of Trent Hall of Honor

Gabriel's Clarion

Gabriel Garnica tried to burrow through the wall that has been unmistakenly erected by the twisters of truth. That wall is the wall of Separation between Church and State, something that has totally been misrepresented and misunderstood. The logic of those saying there must be a wall is more twisted than a pretzel, but that doesn't seem to faze warped minds that neglect the importance and necessity of the documents of truth - the Holy Scriptures and why the U.S. Constitution, Declarion of Independance, and Bill of Rights were founded upon the principles and tenets of the Holy Bible. That is a problem with the New Order who are so malleable to accep;ting the New Manifesto of Modernism, while twisting the Living Documents to justify killing. "Thou shalt not kill" means nothing to these cannibals of cantankerousness. Gabriel explained in his column
When Living Documents Are Twisted To Justify Death!
Hope on the Horizon
Syndicated columnist Cal Thomas wrote this before news broke Tuesday afternoon of the deliberate decapitation of American freelancer Nick Berg in retaliation for the shameful, but hardly outrageous - to both East and West - immorality at the Abu Gharib Prison. The fact is these radical infidels would have done it anyway no matter how badly America stubbed her moral toe. It is the Muslim creed to destroy the Christian culture and make no mistake, the Western culture with all its warts, still represents Christian culture camouflaged though it may be beneath the New Order mask. Nevertheless, it is the Crusades all over again only this time the stakes are even higher and seemingly the only ones willing to fight are the English-speaking coalition - America, England and Australia against the devil represented by the crescent moon in Apocalypse 12: 3. As Thomas pointed out, nothing outrages the infidel terrorist and those thinking so are using it as an unfair political weapon here in the U.S. as Thomas asserted in his Townhall column - enough with the apologies A 'sorry' spectacle
