"Thine Eyes of Mercy Towards Us"

If we, who are the "poor banished children of Eve," look towards the Blessed Mother as "our life, our sweetness, and our hope" and heed the truths of her Divine Spouse we can take refuge in knowing her Divine Son Jesus will protect us "in this valley of tears" and keep us from being compromised by the Revolution and "after this our exile, show unto us the Blessed Fruit of thy womb Jesus."

Ever since his banishment, the devil goes about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour the poor banished children of Eve. From the devil's design of the Judeo-Masonic movement and the French Revolution, it has reached its zenith of insanity with a takeover of that which was holy. The Cross and the Church have been eclipsed.

"The Church, formed in her image, is also our Mother, who brings us to birth through Baptism, nourishes us with the Bread of Life, and cares for us at every stage of our lives from conception to the grave, so that we may pass from this world to the next free of sin, and spend a blessed eternity in Heaven."

Editor's Note: In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Fourth Sunday After Easter, he reassures us that no matter how bad the Revolution will devastate the Church - and it truly has with a concentrated, well-planned agenda to destroy the Faith and the Divine Immemorial Mass of All Ages - the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - in the end Mary's Immaculate Heart will triumph for God has said so and Christ, in today's Gospel has promised His Spirit for "when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will teach you all truth." That same Spirit - the Holy Ghost - is the Divine Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary - the woman of Genesis and the Apocalypse. In turning to her for succor we can find safe harbor and tender motherly love where for us everyday is Mother's Day with the Blessed Mother of God. Father chronicles how the Church and society were infiltrated and how previous Popes tried to stave off the Revolution which was meticulously planned to destroy Christ's One True Church. The greatest obstacle: the True Sacrifice of the Mass. On this Mother's Day Father shares the consequences and the hope in his sermon. [bold and italics below are editor's emphasis.]

God, Who is Infinite Love, included the mystery of motherhood in His plan for creation. "Of His Own will He has begotten us by the word of truth, that we might be, as it were, the first-fruits of His creatures" (James 1:18). His own Divine Son would be "born of a woman" (Galatians 4: 4) who would be the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Second Eve, "mother of all the living" (Genesis 3: 20).

The Church, formed in her image, is also our Mother, who brings us to birth through Baptism, nourishes us with the Bread of Life, and cares for us at every stage of our lives from conception to the grave, so that we may pass from this world to the next free of sin, and spend a blessed eternity in Heaven.

But our adversary, the devil, "as a roaring lionůseeking someone to devour" (1 Peter 5: 8), devised an evil plan to snatch us away from our true Mother, and to give us a new mother, a wicked stepmother, who would wield great power over the earth and all its inhabitants. This wicked stepmother has many names and many disguises, which can all be summed up under the name Revolution. The Revolution, which brings only death and destruction, is as old as Original Sin. The partisans of the Revolution are the disobedient, those who have refused to believe God and the One Whom He has sent, Jesus Christ.

It is impossible to describe the extent of the lies and deceptions of this wicked stepmother, who appears under her many disguises as the Synagogue of Satan, Heresy, the Reformation, Judeo-Masonry, Liberalism, Socialism, Communism, Marxism, Modernism, and so on. But scratch the surface and you always find the old serpent, the great Red Dragon of the Apocalypse, who never ceases to pursue the Heavenly Woman and her children (Apocalypse 12:17).

Confusion and chaos accompany the Revolution. She promises worldly pleasures, prosperity and power, but her purpose is to corrupt the minds and hearts of her children and turn them away from God so that she may destroy them, for "the Revolution devours her children." Under the name Feminism, for instance, the Revolution turns women into shrill, lewd, pleasure-seeking parodies of womanhood, true daughters of the rebellious Eve, who even sacrifice the children of their own wombs through abortion. The Communist revolutionary, Vladimir Lenin, predicted the fall of America through its planned moral corruption: "We will not need to fight. It will fall as a ripe fruit into our hands."

And what of Mother Church? Unfortunately, the Church is attacked by the Revolution on every possible front. Pope Pius XI in his encyclical, "On Atheistic Communism," described the Church's fight against Communism as a "vast campaign," and placed it under the standard of St. Joseph, with the warning: "Communism is intrinsically wrong, and no one who would save Christian civilization may collaborate with it in any undertaking whatsoever" (Divini Redemptoris, March 19, 1937). But his warning was to be ignored.

    The Irishwoman Deirdre Manifold writes:

"In 1955, Albert Vassart, a former member of the French Communist Party, revealed that in 1936 Moscow ordered that specially selected Communists were to enter seminaries with the intention of becoming priests. An American ex-Communist, Manning Johnson, testifying before the House Un-American Activities Committee in 1953, stated that the policy of infiltrating seminaries was successful beyond the Communists' most optimistic expectations. He also mentioned that the Party had two goals in infiltrating the Church. One was to neutralize its anti-Communist characterů The secondů was to divert clerical thinking and teaching away from the spiritual to the social and political. Henceforth the subject of sin was to be taboo. The Ten Commandments and seven sacraments were not to be mentioned, and, of course, the idea of hell was to be laughed to scorn" (Deirdre Manifold, Towards World Government, 1993, ed. Cornelia R. Ferreira).

Even in the 1800s revolutionary forces were planning an attack on the Church and the papacy through an ecumenical council, which, like a Trojan Horse within the Church's walls, would enable them to gain power over the Church and the papacy. An apostate priest of those times, Canon Roca, predicted that

"the divine cult in the form directed by the liturgy, ceremonial, ritual and regulations of the Roman Church will shortly undergo a transformation at an ecumenical council, which will restore to it the venerable simplicity of the golden age of the Apostles in accordance with the dictates of conscience and modern civilization."

This new church, said Roca, which

"might not be able to retain anything of Scholastic doctrine and the original form of the former Church, will nevertheless receive consecration and canonical jurisdiction from Rome." The new religion would have new dogmas, a new ritual (the New Mass), and a new priesthood. Roca added:

"There is a sacrifice in the offing which represents a solemn act of expiation... The Papacy will fall; it will die under the hallowed knife which the fathers of the last council will forge. The papal caesar is a host [victim] crowned for the sacrifice." (Bishop Rudolf Graber, Athanasius and the Church of Our Time).

The "Permanent Instruction of the Alta Vendita," a Masonic document quoted by Monsignor George Dillon in a lecture given in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1884, describes how the papacy would be overthrown through the systematic corruption of the young clergy:

"In a few years the young clergy will have, by the force of events, invaded all the functions. They will govern, administer, and judge. They will form the council of the Sovereign. They will be called upon to choose the Pontiff who will reignů Seek out the Pope of whom we give the portrait. You wish to establish the reign of the elect upon the throne of the prostitute of Babylon? Let the clergy march under your banner in the belief always that they march under the banner of the Apostolic Keys" (Reprint: Grand Orient Freemasonry Unmasked, London, 1950).

Pope St. Pius X tried to stem the rising tide of evil through his encyclical, Pascendi Dominici Gregis (Sept. 8, 1907), in which he called Modernism "the synthesis of all heresies," but it went underground and resurfaced at the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958. The revolutionaries gained control of the papacy by maneuvering Angelo Roncalli onto the throne of Peter as John XXIII, who soon announced the long planned council-Vatican II. All the nefarious plans of the revolutionaries have since been put into effect. The Church would be in eclipse, until such time as God would see fit to raise her up again, more glorious than ever.

Yet there is one who is still our Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. Although her requests and her Great Miracle at Fatima in 1917 were debunked by the administration of the new church, she is the powerful adversary of the great Red Dragon of the Revolution. With her Divine Son, and by the power of the Holy Ghost Whom Christ has promised in today's Gospel, the intercession of St. Joseph and the prayers of the suffering Church, she will crush Satan's power, who will then be assigned by God to the bottomless pit. Mary's Immaculate Heart will finally triumph. Today, Mothers' Day, we pray for her protection and consecrate ourselves once more to her Immaculate Heart.
