Giving the GATE to Archbishop Sean O'Malley!

The smudges of anathema are everywhere. How do you rationalize your errors, your Excellency?

Editor's Note: The smudges are everywhere. There are so many fingerprints that have tampered with the Truths of Catholic Doctrine, that the title for this feature was right there at our fingertips - "Fingerprints of Anathema?" Just as FOX News' slogan is "we report, you decide," so also we have left the question mark for you to decide if the person proclaiming what was said is anathema or just another wayward Modernist avoiding necessities, being politically correct, and altering the Sacred Deposit of the Faith to placate man and to avoid accountability to their appointment as successors of the Apostles. Wait. That would be anathema according to the Apostle Paul's infallible statement in Galatians 1: 7-10 wherein he states:

"I wonder that you are so soon removed, from him who called you to the grace of Christ, to another gospel: which is not another, only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an Angel from Heaven, preach a gospel to you beside that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema. As we said before, so I say now again: If any one preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? If I did yet please men, I should not be the servant of Christ."

And so today, on behalf of Authentic Roman Catholics everywhere, I, your locum tenens examiner Michael Cain, editor of The Daily Catholic, ask His Excellency Archbishop Sean Patrick O'Malley to kindly step forward to take the Galatians Anathermometer Theological Exam (GATE). By your statements we shall see if you are truly a servant of Christ. If not, what steps will you take to right yourself for your sake and the sake of your flocks, your Excellency? I know you have a busy schedule what with all your ecumenical activities, but there are some important matters the people need to hear from your own words. Prepare for the GATE. Now place your fingers on the anathematic defibrillator and we shall commence.

First of all, let us take your statements in The Boston Globe from Thursday, March 11 titled Charity needed in debate of gay marriage. Like your comrade in heresy Bishop Patrick McGrath of San Jose, you have chosen to utilize a secular publication to express anathema. Ergo, we have every right in the world to expose you as a charlatan and a wolf in shepherd's clothing. You have first of all, convicted yourself in the headline for nowhere in Catholic doctrine does it say there is anything "gay about the sin of sodomy." Rather, the sin of sodomy is one of the most heinous of sins that cry to Heaven for vengeance. However, in all fairness to you, in reading your entire article, no other mention of 'gay' was included so let us, for the sake of your defense, presume this was a liberal copy editor who composed the headline.

With that concession, let us focus on what you have placed as the utmost importance: charity. You quote the great Doctor of the Church Saint Augustine that "Unity in essential things, freedom in nonessential things, and charity in all things." I might remind you that this same saint also proclaimed that "wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it, and right is right even if no one is doing it." Is it charity, your Excellency to mollify those who gravely offend God and have no intention to repent of their sins? I think not. Is it not rather, charity to remind them of their sin and to pray and act for their full repentance so that they will have the benefit of eternal happiness? To do otherwise is truly uncharitable. Unity has nothing to do with it unless we are united in Jesus Christ and His Divine Will. Yes we must be unified in our opposition, but how opposed are you really?

Patronizing doesn't cut it. The stronger the sin, the greater must be the condemnation of that sin! Notice I did not say "sinner" for the one who offends God is given the chance to repent just as Christ forgave the harlot of her sins. However, He also said, "Go, and sin no more." That doesn't mean accommodating the sin or the sinner if the person persists in their sin. Having many decrees and doctorates, you must realize what the great doctors and fathers of the Church have said, and what so many Roman Pontiffs have decreed when one persists in disobeying God's commandments. We know what Paul has said, let them be anathema. Ergo if they persist in disobeying God and His Holy Church and they are accursed by their own actions and refusal to repent, then they are no longer Catholic as well. Yet in your article you state the anathema that

"Doubtless many Catholics who are homosexual or have friends and relatives who are homosexual find the present climate of debate on same-sex marriages distressing. We need to assure them that we disagree with the way the debate is being framed to exploit people's emotions."

Your Excellency, this is pure rubbish for we do not need to assure them of anything except that they are gravely in danger of losing their eternal soul. To hell with placating their emotions! Because if we do that, we only make more slippery the paved path towards hell for not only them but the enablers as well! You, as a shepherd of the poor misled sheep of your see, should know that. Shame on you. Yes, I can see you're getting nervous as the anathematic defibrillator is vibrating spastically. Please do not lift your hands. Let us continue. You further state that

"The church would like people to focus on the institution of marriage, the contributions that it makes to the common good, and the impact of separating childbearing and rearing from marriage."

Huh? What church are you talking about? The True Church, the Church founded by Christ on the Rock (Petrus) and upheld from Peter through His Holiness Pius XII not only "would like", but obediently followed the tenet that the institution of marriage was founded on the divinely-ordained precept of fostering offspring with the parents' primary purpose of preparing future generations for Heaven. It had nothing to do with "the common good" for that was a given when the Church's authority trumped all others. But thanks to the hierarchy's lack of vigilance in your seminary days the Church forfeited her right to keep the moral compass by also abdicating the authority entrusted to her by the successors of Peter. Those who have betrayed Christ are now in control and they have veered so far from the Sacred Deposit of Faith with the 'aggiornamento' novelty of the mortal Vatican II experiment. The souls that have been lost due to this costly and fatal 'experiment' are unimaginable. So horrible has the devastation been. Oh, I know you and your fellow miters might chalk it up to mere 'collateral damage' and this whole exercise of our ranting as overreaction on the part of an extreme-right-wing Traditionalist web editor, but I assure you the good Lord does not and you will discover this at your Particular Judgment when it will not go well for you if you persist in the anathema of accommodating man's emotions at the expense of man's eternal soul.

Consider the Gospel from yesterday's Holy Mass. Oh, I forgot, you no longer subscribe to the universal one year calendar which Holy Mother Church in her wisdom had kept so sacred and in tact for centuries. To refresh you, the Gospel for the Third Sunday of Lent is taken from Luke 11: 14-28, in which Our Lord confirms that

"When a strong man armed keepeth his court, those things are in peace which he possesseth. But if a stronger than he come upon him and overcome him, he will take away all his armor wherein he trusted, and will distribute his spoils. He that is not with Me is against Me : and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth. When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through places without water, seeking rest : and not finding, he saith: I will return into my house whence I came out. And when he is come, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then he goeth and taketh with him seven other spirits more wicked then himself, and entering in they dwell there. And the last state of that man becomes worse than the first."

You see, your Excellency, this is exactly what has happened over the past 40 years for, thanks to 'aggiornamento' and the spirit of Vatican II a stronger than he has come in and taken away the armor of God which Paul assures us is needed in Ephesians 6: 11-18. As we can also attest, pronouncements have been made and intensified which are not in harmony with what Christ truly taught. Therefore "He that is not with Me is against Me." The church of Vatican II, in not gathering with the infrangible truths of Holy Mother Church, has scattered and, in trying to improve upon the innovations, have only made it worse and more wicked. Truly, today compared to 1965 we must admit with Christ, "The last state of that man becomes worst than the first." So also the men who are charged with saving souls. Do not hide in your ivory tower, nor take refuge in your chancery behind a wall of diocesan spokespersons, but put on sackcloth and ashes and publicly repent of thy sins as an example to your flocks who seek truth and find it not from today's shepherds in wolves clothing.

The fur of false prophets will surely fly for in the next statement of your article in the Globe you convict the very ones who have elevated you to the status you hold today.

"Already one-third of all children in our country are born out of wedlock - a result of a weakening of marriage over the last two decades."

Okay, let's take that time-frame, your Excellency. In studying his eight-year record we surely cannot blame Ronald Reagan nor George H. Bush for his four years. That's twelve of the twenty years you are referring to. Then do we blame it all on Bill Clinton? Oh, many would like to, but sadly old Bubba is only a product of the revolution, not the cause. The same with George W., MTV and the shock jocks, and the in-your-face rudeness to parental authority. No, we cannot blame our government officials though two men who have been the most influential in the enabling of moral decay of American society legislatively are two who you are personally responsible for and must answer to God for. I'm sure you've heard of them. One is Senator Edward Kennedy, the other Senator John Kerry.

Let us veer from your printed statement for just a moment to discuss this and how anathema had raised its ugly head long before you ever became the Archbishop of Boston, yea even before you became a bishop, even a priest for you were ordained in 1970, calling into question the revised rite of Paul VI. But that is for another article for indeed, your Excellency, I shall be a burr in your saddle until you realize the real purpose of why you were supposed to be called to be a successor of the Apostles. It has nothing to do with status or wealth. But it is wealth that Ted Kennedy has lavished on the Archdiocese, buying off his judges. He is a known offender of Catholic doctrine, an unrepentant sinner. Both he and Kerry have paid great amounts to the modern church to gain very questionable annulments for reasons that no Catholic before Vatican II would even have dared present. Yet simony slippers in under the guise of the word 'annulment.' That in and of itself, your Excellency, is an indictment of the Vatican II popes for they have not only endorsed anathema but have spread it by allowing it to fester and infect.

You especially know about Kennedy for he was your ward in the Fall River Diocese for surely Hyannis Port came under your jurisdiction. With your appointment to the Boston See succeeding your disgraced and scandalous scarlet cohort Bernard Law, you inherited an equally offensive offender in John Kerry. Both Kerry and Kennedy call themselves Catholic, but you know as well as I do that they are not and cannot be Catholic for they have, by their very actions over these past three decades voted deliberately and consistently to allow and enforce the murder of well over 40 million unborn babies in their mothers' wombs. Their sin is as great as Herod, Caligula, Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot, Idi Amin and Saddam Hussein combined if you go by the numbers.

Yet Kennedy is manipulating - as is his modus operandi - Kerry into position to be the Democratic candidate for the Presidency of these United States. A murderer, avowed serial killer in the White House? Horrors. An even greater horror is the fact that you, who are the immediate guardian of the welfare of his soul have not been as bold as your colleague in St. Louis Archbishop Raymond L. Burke. Indeed, however just denying Kerry and Kennedy Communion is not enough, not nearly enough if you want to save your own soul and the souls of your poor misguided flocks in Massachusetts which have long ago forsaken God. No, Archbishop, I repeat: you need to put on sackcloth and ashes and, emulating the Ninevites of Jonah's time, let the people know the ineffable Catholic truth. That is clearly outlined in Canon Law 1329, 2; 1397 and 1398.

That fact also definitively puts Kerry and Kennedy outside the Church by their own choosing, latae sententiae. But everything has been hush-hush about this. Ah, do you see your complicity in this cover-up, your Excellency? By your silence you have participated in the continued killing not only of more innocent unborns, but the killing of souls who have abandoned the Sacred Deposit of Faith in favor of a more palatable "common good." By your very inactions you have indicted yourself in anathema and excommunicated yourself from the Mystical Body of Christ. Yes, you may still wear the collar and cowl, still carry the crosier but your power before God means nothing if you do not act for Him and through Him.

From the extensive research we have conducted we find no article or letter in the Boston Globe or The Pilot from you or by you asserting your God-given authority to publicly proclaim the warning and present the bell, book and candle to both Kennedy and Kerry for their grave, unrepentant offenses. Not to do so is not only uncharitable but tears asunder any hope of unity - true unity within the Mystical Body of Christ. Not to do so will surely confirm your anathema! Consider that if you do not come out publicly not only against the sins of Kerry and Kennedy, but in strongly letting your flocks know that it is a grave sin to vote for a known sinner who advocates the holocaust in the womb, you are as great a sinner, if not greater because of your charge over souls.

You are in the eye of the storm, Archbishop O'Malley. How you handle the coming tornado will determine not only the eternal salvation of your own soul but that of countless others and a nation's which is at road's end right now. The United States of America is at the edge of the abyss morally and if the Bishops of America persist in their lukewarmness and soft handling of tough issues, then you will collectively be responsible for the damnation of countless souls. Do you really want that on your resumé when you stand before your Eternal Judge? You, above all the other prelates in the United States, will be the most responsible for you will be held accountable for all eternity for enabling John Kerry to persist in sin and celebrate sin with election to the highest office in the land. That would be worse than anathema, that would be a true exile into hell for every so-called 'Catholic' who voted for a known pro-abort and pro-sodomite. It is not about liberal or conservative, but about right. What is right is what God blesses, what is wrong is what He condemns. Kennedy and Kerry promote the sins of abortion and sodomy. God condemns the sins of abortion and sodomy. You would be wise to follow His example.

You should also publish a disclaimer and disavow the asinine statement you wrote for all to see in the Boston Globe on 3-11-04:

"We want to call all Catholics to a faithful following of Christ. This means that we have love for one another and treat each other with respect. The church does not countenance hatred of homosexuals or violence against them. We invite all people in the church to unite in discipleship and fidelity and to work for the common good in society."

Okay, "a faithful following of Christ means" first and foremost a love for our fellow man out of love for God. That being the case our love for God must be greater than our love for man. Therefore, we must be sensitive not to man's feelings, but to God's. Knowing that sin is the most offensive to Him, we should strive in every way we can to eradicate sin. While we love the sinner out of our sincere love of God, we hate the sin even more, yes hate it, because of our sincere love of God. Therefore, we must, every one of us, first and foremost purge any sin from within ourselves through a worthy and sincere Confession to a validly ordained priest, and then go forward calling on our fellow man to eradicate sin in his or her life. Any acceptance or compromise of sodomy or abortion is a sin in and of itself. To accept the sinner who persists in sin is not love, but a lukewarm aloofness that will cause those who accommodate sinners to be vomited from the Lord's mouth as the Apostle John so vividly recorded in Apocalypse 3: 16. Therefore it is anathema to say "unite in discipleship and fidelity and to work for the common good in society" when there is any kind of compromise of sin. The common good is not necessarily good. In this case it definitely is not good and to suggest such is blatantly dishonest.

    You continue:

"The question of same-sex marriage is an emotional issue and has lent itself to some heated exchanges. The church is not an enemy of homosexuals, and we do not want people to hate or mistreat others; nor do we want Catholics who are defending the institution of marriage to be demonized as homophobic or bigots. I realize that some people might oppose same-sex marriages out of an animosity for homosexuals. I appeal to our people to avoid harboring such prejudices."

I thought you were a shepherd of souls, not a referee or a psychologist wanting people to feel good. My, my someone made a big mistake making you a bishop if this is truly how you perceive Catholicism. First of all, it is evident from the atrocious, sinful scandalous abuse by the Vatican II church that it has bent over backwards not to be an enemy of homosexuals, for indeed the sodomites have so thoroughly penetrated the Sacred Institution that the the authority of the hierarchs has become impotent. Take that for however you want but I encourage our readers and especially you, your Excellency, to read Atila Sinke Guimarães' shocking, but true and documented account of the whole sordid sad affair and its root in his new book just released Vatican II, Homosexuality and Pedophilia". That will confirm how thoroughly the viper of perversion has slithered into the church of Vatican II, yes, coiling his slimy self all the way to the top. This is because the modern church has tried to placate man, and collectively has embraced anathema, apostasy if you will, just as the Mother of God prophesied at La Salette in 1856, "The Church will be in eclipse...She will lose the faith and become the seat of the antichrist."

It is not the Society of St. Pius X who are in schism, nor the CMRI, nor Mel Gibson and the increasingly growing number of Traditional Catholics who are flocking to the Latin Mass and remaining ever loyal to all Holy Mother Church taught from Peter through Pius XII. No, rather the true schismatics are they who have abandoned these infrangible truths, who have forsaken the primary dogma of Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus, and have followed the false shepherds and the anathema of Vatican II which contradicts the infallible tenets of Trent and, have, in fact, embraced the very errors condemned by Popes Paul IV, St. Pius V, Gregory XVI, Pius IX, St. Pius X, and Pius XII. For confirmation of this, see Credo & Culture. The facts are facts, your Excellency. You're running with the wrong crowd. Maybe that's why the crowd keeps thinning in Boston and elsewhere. There is nothing of substantive faith to hold your flocks. Soft on sodomy and accommodating abortionists will do that, as will those who seek to alter the absolutes for their own comfort such as the liberal organization originating in Boston that has called for a further relaxation of celibacy and a Protestant-like democracy in the church. You need to plead with people to hold a healthy prejudice for sin, yet you patronize with this pabulum:

"I hope that those who advocate for same-sex marriages will try to hear what we are saying about marriage, family, and the common good. They may not agree with what we are saying, but they should be reassured that the church wants all people to live in harmony and mutual respect and to have everyone's legitimate civil rights guaranteed."

With that statement, the anathematic defibrillator has gone off the charts. You may lift your fingers for you have convicted yourself of anathema, Archbishop Sean O'Malley. You are no servant of Christ for you seek to persuade men, not God. Listen to what you said: "the church wants all people to live in harmony." Where do you get such saccharine bafflegab? Maybe your synthetic church of Vatican II, but not the True Church. The True Church wants all people to live in sanctifying grace in fulfillment of Christ's command in Mark 16: 15-16, "Go ye into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth, and is baptized, shall be saved: but he that believeth not, shall be condemned." There it is in crystal clear words from Christ Himself, your Excellency. We can only "live in harmony" by being in the state of sanctifying grace. There is no other way. Acceptance of sodomy is definitely not legitimate, definitely not a civil right! Living in sin can never be harmonious because grace is missing; ergo there is no unity, no love, no life. To not recognize that is what is truly uncharitable and unChristian.

I pray you will go forth, along with your fellow cohort bishops, and learn from this exam or, be forewarned on this day known as the Ides of March, that when it comes to your Final Exam before the Eternal Judge your actions and inactions will flunk you forever.
