Part Two:
"Personally Opposed" Mantra is a Pathetic Excuse!

Tonight John Kerry will be nominated by the Party of Death, carrying the banner of slay-the-babies into the political fray even though, according to him and so many others, they are "personally opposed." Yeah, sure they are!!! And where are the American Bishops? If they are not standing uncompromisingly against this terrible crime of promoting murder, then they stand with Kerry. No man can serve two masters. You are warned. Beware of the deadly serpent which suffocates the souls of so many bishops and is slithering ever closer to the duped.

"Do not be deceived! This is not about some mythical code of government, utopian view of freedom, or fanciful notion of integrity. What this is all about is selling out for votes, power, and earthly ambition. In the end, the politician who spits out the "personally opposed" dribble is holding hands with both the abortionist and the mother who has just sacrificed her child, for this is all about greed and convenience. Our God is "personally opposed" to those who would kill the innocent, and He wants us to publicly voice that Divine Opposition!"

Like many people, I have grown sick and tired of hearing John Kerry and his ilk wax poetic about how they are "personally opposed" to abortion but must muster restraint, discipline, and open-mindedness in confining that personal opposition for the good of the country, the constitution, mankind, the environment, or whatever other excuse they can come up with. Hypocrisy at its highest ebb. All of these pathetic, so-called "Catholic" politicians who describe how they are sacrificing their personal moral code for the sake of the mythical separation of church and state are just a pack of cowardly, lying, immature, selfish, arrogant, frauds! Did I miss anything? Perhaps, but those are all of the adjectives that I can come up with right now.

Wrong Number!

First, there is no conceivable way that any Catholic anywhere anytime can ever justify abortion under any circumstances! All scientific evidence points to the fact that what is growing inside the mother is a living, feeling, human being….period! That many liberals, feminists, and otherwise Pro-'choicers' argue otherwise is merely ignorance grounded in rationalization and wishful thinking. Once you accept this first fact, as even John Kerry has admitted to accepting, then abortion is nothing less than premeditated, willful murder for the sake of convenience, arrogance, selfishness and/or greed.

One must obviously be personally opposed to murder, and therefore voicing one's personal opposition is so unnecessary as to be clueless and trivial. If one has a shred, an ounce, a piece, of moral courage and integrity, that personal opposition can only lead to public opposition. Anything less is tantamount to moral cowardice, not to mention an amazingly candid admission of weak integrity, ethical duplicity, and shameless surrender to political, social, and societal pressures. In short, a Catholic politician ringing up a pro-choice position is dialing the wrong number, for such a position is making a call to anywhere but true Catholic doctrine. Most likely where they're really dialing is to the depths of hell!

Just Words!

Second, by their actions we will see the emptiness of their words. If people such as John Kerry are so personally opposed to abortion, then one would assume that they see this practice as evil since one cannot be personally opposed to something unless one feels that it is wrong. Given that logical premise, why don't Kerry and those like him do more to convince others of this evil? One would expect to see Kerry proposing moderating legislation or making speeches highlighting why he is personally against this heinous crime. What does one see? Why nothing but the opposite! Kerry almost injures his colleagues running to vote against any measure or legislation which moderates, mitigates, or opposes a practice which this liar claims to be so against. How can this be so? It is so because the whole "personally opposed" dribble is just that, dribble. It is a pathetic attempt to have it both ways, to save one's sorry political neck while praying a novena. Like so much about this sad excuse for a Catholic politician and all those like him, it is all about words with no action, with no heart, with no soul, with no truth!

Why Just Abortion?

Third, alleged sincerity and truth are always sincere and truthful; otherwise they are mere lies, deception, and sin. If these people truly believe in this "personally opposed but publicly tolerant" mantra, one would expect them to apply it to all situations and contexts, but they do not. Is it legal for a woman to choose to become a prostitute or drug addict? Certainly not! Does this not then contradict the notion that a woman has the right to choose what to do with her body no matter what? Of course it does, for we see that morality and social order must be included in laws otherwise we would be living in moral and social chaos! What about slavery, segregation, and the female vote? What if politicians such as Abraham Lincoln had used this "personally opposed" excuse? Are not the laws and Constitutional Amendments involved an integration of moral and social issues with government? Of course! To argue that morality, legislation, and government should be separated is to argue against everything this country has gone through, has stood for, and represents! So we ask, why is this mantra mainly being used to support abortion and stifle the voice of morality and religion in this country?

Just About Votes, Power, and Winning

Fourth, what all of this "personally opposed" trash is really about is votes, power, winning, and worshipping, not at the altar of Almighty God, but at the cauldron of NOW, The National Organization of Witches, NARAL, the National Association of Really Angry Lesbians, and Planned Murderhood. What this is about is seeking favor with the feminist, sodomite, secular, modernist, and liberal forces who dictate who gets the money, the support, the votes, the winning, and the power. What this is about is selling one's soul, one's faith and, worse, the souls and faith of one's followers, to the devil for earthly gain. A vote for any Pro-Choice politician is a vote for perdition. A vote for any Pro-Choice politician claiming to be Catholic is furthermore a vote against the Catholic faith for it is akin to slapping, spitting, and mocking our faith and our God!

A Prescription for Chaos

Fifth, imagine if we applied Kerry's "personally opposed" rationale to Scripture! God Almighty would be "personally opposed" to Adam and Eve's power move but would not want to impose His views on them publicly or limit their "right to choose". The Almighty would likewise be "personally opposed" to Cain killing Abel but would not want to publicly impose His position on Cain. God would also be "personally opposed" to Sodom, Gomorrah, and the sins of Noah's time but would not seek to publicly impose those views on anyone by destroying of flooding them.

Christ would be "personally opposed" to the hypocritical Pharisees, those in public sin, and those engaged in evil but would not want to impose His views on them publicly. The lips of Our Savior would tell us that everyone in The Good Samaritan story was "personally opposed" to leaving the injured man on the road but that the first two who ignored the victim's plight just did not want to impose their beliefs on others. Christ would likewise tell us that the father of the Prodigal Son was "personally opposed" to his wayward son's behavior but would not insult him by attempting to impose any kind of lesson or suggestion for future decisions by that son. Christ would ascend to Heaven telling us that He was "personally opposed" to sin, murder, and disrespect for His Heavenly Father, but that He did not wish to impose those codes on anyone. In fact, as I have written in another article, the only person in Scripture who I can think of applying Kerry's "personally opposed" mantra is Pontius Pilate! Wasn't he "personally opposed" to killing an innocent Jesus but unwilling to publicly stand up for and defend that personal position? Didn't he feel it more politically expedient to surrender and ignore his personal morality and integrity for the sake of political and social gain? How revealing that the man in Scripture most like John Kerry is Pontius Pilate!

Do Not Be Deceived!

All of the points above merely demonstrate that the "personally opposed" mantra is an empty, pathetic, cowardly excuse used by equally empty, pathetic, cowardly frauds whose only ambition is to win earthly votes and power. It is bad enough that many of these frauds do not even attempt to tie their raw, selfish ambition with morality, integrity, or faith in any way. It is the height of hypocrisy, audacity, insolence, and mockery that politicians such as Kerry, Kennedy, Cuomo, Pelosi, Daschle, Durbin and others who dare to call themselves Catholics while supporting and embracing such a barbaric, cowardly and blasphemous stance! How any so-called Catholic or Christian could ever rationalize or justify or pretend that God would favor such a heinous stance as allowing the murder of innocents is so outrageous as to be beyond belief!

Do not be deceived! Our God is "personally opposed" to those who would kill the innocent, and He wants us to publicly voice that Divine Opposition!
