Catholic PewPOINT
Editor Michael Cain emphasizes that for far too long the junior Senator John Kerry from Massachusetts, who has learned at the knee of his Caligulan master Ted Kennedy, has waged war on the innocent. Now many are touting Kerry as a war hero for his feats in Viet Nam. Do they really know what they're talking about? Dig into the bunkers of his background and you'll find an entirely different chap. The facts speak for themselves and the bishops will soon reach a crossroads where they will have no choice but to take a stand against Kerry for his 100% pro-abort, pro-sodomite stand and the fact he is an enemy of Christ and His One True Church. If the bishops don't stand up to Kerry, well then you'll know once and for all where the New Order men in miters stand! Like Kerry they stand convicted because they did not stand by their convictions! There is the carrot out there that Archbishop Raymond Burke might be the trendsetter. He issued a statement this weekend that he would refuse Kerry Communion. See LifeNews.Com But is that enough? Will that move the flocks to shun and not vote for Kerry under penalty of sin? No! More, much more is necessary in this case to wake the masses to the seriousness of this persistent sin and the prideful flaunting of it above Church law. There can be no separation of Church and State when it comes to moral law. Cain issues a challenge to the new Archbishop of St. Louis to stand and deliver as promised in his editorial John Kerry is no hero! He's a coward, a deserter and guilty as charged!

Gabriel's Clarion

In honor of the traditional feast of the Purification of Mary when, 40 days after giving birth she presented herself and her Divine Son in the Temple as was the Jewish custom, Gabriel Garnica has chosen nine verses uttered by this most Immaculate of women to her cousin Elizabeth and recorded for all time in Luke 1: 46-55. He magnifies the might of her words as the total fiat of God's holy will in all things and a simple guide for each of us to strive for holiness in this fleeting life. He shows how nothing of the secular or ecclesial New Order can measure up to the simplicity and humility of this wonderful prayer. The Magnificat - Mary's Answer to the New Order
SUNDAY:
"Qui legit, intelligat"

In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Fourth Sunday After Epiphany, he focuses on today's Epistle and the Apostle Paul's meaning of love. It is far different than what the church of Vatican II is pushing with their 'civilization of love' propaganda and heretical 'flight plan' of the last 40 years. Just as the Apostles in today's Gospel were on a journey, being tossed to and fro in the boat as the waves lapped against the hull, they turned to their only Hope - Christ - to save them. With Divine Power He quelled the raging sea. Father provides a parable of another journey, a doomed flight that is destined to crash land for it is off course - far, far off course. Despite the refrains from Rome to "come fly with me" to Utopia on earth, there is nothing ahead except the fathoms of destruction which modern Rome is plunging toward, taking with it so many countless passengers who are depending on man to steer them to salvation when Who they really need to turn to is Christ as their Sovereign King and Pilot. Only He can provide the parachutes of pure Truth and Love as Father asserts in his poignant sermon The Decline and Fall of the Civilization of Love
Saturday:
Shears and Tears of a Lamb Catharine Lamb resumed her feature on the Canon of the Mass and those who are honored. She featured the holy martyred successors of Peter who are specifically mentioned in the Communicantes before the Consecration. Catharine provided some background and the interesting puzzlement as to which Pope Sixtus is referred to in the Canon. She also showed that the Church - at least up until Vatican II - always took great measures to preserve the purity of the Papacy and to pray that the Pope not be led astray by the enemies of the Church. She included a special prayer from the Preces of the Brieviary in her column Sainted Popes: The REAL Thing!
Friday:
Gabriel's Clarion
In a sequel to his column this past Tuesday, Gabriel Garnica continued in the same vein in sounding the clarion as to the false sirens that have so consumed the minds and manners of today's public at the detriment of their spiritual values. He blamed it on a lack of true heroes today and the need for more people like Mel Gibson to come forward to lead the media and entertainment industry back to the golden years when entertainment was truly entertainment and conveyed truth. Today's media are the wolves in sheep's clothing enticing so many blind sheep into swallowed the poison offered up at the troubling trough of television titillation and movie madness as once again Gabriel went Beyond the glamor and glitz Two

Chronicle of Catholic Tradition
In the fourth chapter of our new series on the history of Holy Mother Church and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we highlighted the customs and traditions first established in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, combining both Judaic and Christian traditions into a new tradition. Guided by the Sanctifier, which Christ promised, we see the development of the sacrifice which Abraham offered in place of his son Jacob, carried out on the Cross and perpetuated for the faithful in the Holy Mass in the unbloody offering up of The Spotless Lamb of God
