SUNDAY-WEDNESDAY      December 12-15, 2004      Volume 15, no. 194

As 2004 draws to a close, we don't need to tell you that Our Lord sheds tears because so many souls still do not know the Truth. Because of that the light of Tradition grows dimmer. With your donations to the Daily Catholic and Our Lady's intercession, you can help to save souls, brighten the path to Tradition, and dry a tear or two from Jesus' holy face, lest those of you, who have the Truth and have been blessed with the means to help, might have to try to explain your selfishness at your Particular Judgment. Think and pray over it as we ask you to remember this apostolate for charitable giving this Christmas and for a year-end tax deductible donation. We count on the generosity of our readers to keep up the integrity of this publication and keep it free of all advertising and banners in providing our readers worldwide with the foundations for the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. If you can pledge for 2005 we would be most grateful.

Christmas Novena Prayer to Obtain Favors Asked

Editor's Note: From the Feast of Saint Andrew the Apostle to the Nativity of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ one may begin a special prayer, simply called the "Christmas Novena" to obtain favors if one's requests are in accordance with God's will. It is believed that whoever recites the following prayer with a pious heart 15 times a day from November 30th to December 25th, will obtain whatever is asked. This Novena leading to Christmas carries an Imprimatur from Archbishop Michael Augustine of New York City during the Pontificate of Pope Leo XIII on February 6, 1897. Since one should say this short prayer 15 times a day, it is recommended to memorize it below so you can say it wherever you are.

Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born of the most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem in piercing cold. In that hour vouchsafe, O my God! to hear my prayer and grant my petitions, through the merits of our Savior Jesus Christ, and of His Blessed Mother. Amen.

PAPAL PROOF OF WHAT THE CHURCH TRULY TEACHES
For those who truly want to delve deeper into what the Faith teaches and what past Sovereign Pontiffs have decreed, we recommend for your vital reading to better KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH, pertinent Papal decrees which put to the lie what is being promulgated today by the Vatican II church. We strongly encourage you to read these to understand how today the modern church is in Apostasy when compared to what had always been taught by Holy Mother Church and enforced and warned as most grievous by previous Pontiffs as you'll see in CREDO & CULTURE

  •     Because the New Mass contains ambiguities subtly favoring heresy, which is more dangerous than if it were clearly heretical since a half-heresy half resembles the Truth!
Ah yes, is there any doubt that the Father of Half-truths is behind this? But Catholics have been so lobotomized that they'll buy anything. Satan was counting on that! The Vatican was warned of this catastrophe. See The Ottaviani Intervention This is the twenty-ninth of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos on Easter Sunday 1982 and endorsed by the late great Bishop Antonio de Castro Mayer. Each day we will publish one of the 62 until they're all complete.
Conversely in the True Holy Mass of All Ages:

For the sake of this propitiatory Victim, the petitions proffered during Mass will be granted far sooner than those that are proffered at other times.
This is the twenty-ninth of at least 77 Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur by New York's Archbishop Michael Augustin on June 24, 1818 during the Pontificate of Pope Pius VII.

For the previous Graces, see Twenty-nine Graces thus far.

One of the most beautiful series of apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Queen Heaven - occurred on the American continent on a December day of 1531, only ten years after the Spanish conquest. A fervent Christian Indian in his fifties, Juan Diego, a widower, was on his way to Mass in Mexico City from his home eight miles distant, a practice he and his wife had followed since their conversion, in honor of Our Lady on Her day, Saturday. He had to pass near the hill of Tepeyac, and was struck there by the joyous song of birds, rising up in the most melodious of concerts; he stopped to listen. Looking up to the hilltop, he perceived a brilliant cloud, surrounded by a light brighter than a fiery sun, and a gentle voice called him by name, saying, “Juan, come.” His first fear was transformed into a sweet happiness by this voice, and he mounted the slope. There he beheld the One he had intended to honor by hearing Her Mass. She was surrounded by a radiance so brilliant it sent out rays that seemed to transform the very rocks into scintillating jewels.

“Where are you going, My child?” She asked him. “To Saint James to hear the Mass sung by the minister of the Most High in honor of the Mother of the Saviour.” “That is good, My son; your devotion is agreeable to Me, as is also the humility of your heart. Know then that I am that Virgin Mother of God, Author of Life and Protector of the weak. I desire that a temple be built here, where I will show Myself to be your tender Mother, the Mother of your fellow citizens and of all who invoke My name with confidence. Go to the bishop and tell him faithfully all you have seen and heard.”

Juan continued on his way, and the bishop, Monsignor Juan de Zumarraga, a Franciscan of great piety and enlightened prudence, heard him kindly and asked questions, but sent him home without any promises. Juan was disappointed, but on his way past the hill, he once again found the Lady, who seemed to be waiting for him as though to console him. He excused himself for the failure of his mission, but She only repeated Her desire to have a temple built at this site, and told him to return again to the bishop. This he did on the following day, begging the bishop to accomplish the desires of the Virgin. Monsignor said to him: “If it is the Most Holy Virgin who sends you, She must prove it; if She wants a church, She must give me a sign of Her will.” On his way home, Juan Diego found Her again, waiting, and She said to him, “Come back tomorrow and I will give you a certain mark of the truthfulness of your words.”

The next day Juan was desolate to find his uncle, with whom he lived, fallen grievously sick; the old gentleman was clearly on the brink of death. Juan had to go and find a priest in the city. As he was passing the hill, Our Lady again appeared to him, saying, “Do not be anxious, Diego, because of your uncle’s illness. Don’t you know that I am your Mother and that you are under My protection? At this moment your uncle is cured.” “Then please give me the sign you told me of,” replied Juan. Mary told him to come up to the hilltop and cut the flowers he would find there, place them under his cloak, and bring them to Her. “I will tell you then what to do next.” Juan found the most beautiful of roses and lilies, and chose the most fragrant ones for Mary. She made a bouquet of them and placed it in a fold of his cloak or tilma — a large square of coarse cloth resembling burlap. “Take these lilies and roses on My behalf to the bishop,” She said. “This is the certain sign of My will. Let there be no delay in raising here a temple in My honor.” With joy Juan continued on to the city and the bishop’s residence, where he had to wait nearly all day in the antechamber. Other visitors noted the fragrance of his flowers, and went so far as to open his mantle to see what he was carefully holding in it, but found only flowers pictured on the cloth. When finally he was admitted to the presence of the prelate, he opened his cloak and the fresh flowers fell on the floor. That was not the only sign; on his cloak there was imprinted a beautiful image of the Virgin. It remains today still visible in the Cathedral of Mexico City, conserved under glass and in its original state, having undergone no degeneration in 471 years.

Juan found his uncle entirely cured that evening; he heard him relate that Our Lady had cured him, and had said to him also: “May a sanctuary be raised for Me under the name of Our Lady of Guadalupe.” The bishop lost no time in having a small church built at the hill of Tepeyac, and Juan Diego himself dwelt near there to answer the inquiries of the pilgrims who came in great numbers. In effect, nearly all of the land became Catholic in a few years’ time, having learned to love the gentle Lady who like God their Father showed Herself to be the ever-watchful friend of the poor. In 1737 the pestilence ceased immediately in Mexico city after the inhabitants made a vow to proclaim Our Lady of Guadalupe the principal Patroness of New Spain. In 1910 She was proclaimed by Pope Saint Pius X “Celestial Patroness of all Latin America.” Recent studies of the image of Our Lady on the tilma have discovered in one of Her eyes the portrait of the obedient one Juan Diego and the bishop who did not oppose Our Lady's request. The result: Over 9 million conversions. She came to stop human sacrifice by the Aztec nation. She entreats all her children to stop the abominable human sacrifice of abortion. Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of the Americas, is Our Lady of the Unborn.

France is falling prey to perversion

Is the wick now wicked? We think not!

Memo to Ratzinger et al: There is only ONE solution!

Sly-Sky slips in as head wolf of USCCB

When it comes to all these ungodly laws being passed by liberal judges because of the lobbying and intimidation of a small minority out to do away with the natural and supernatural order, it is wise to keep in mind the following:

"Unjust laws are, properly speaking, NO LAWS!"
His Eminence Saint Robert Bellarmine, Doctor of the Church

  • The French Revolution begins anew but this time the battle cry has a rainbow tint colored by satan A new law is about to be enacted in the the land of Our Lady and the Daughter of Holy Mother Church when it will become a crime to speak out against sin, most specifically sodomy. As homophobia becomes the vice of the vanquished, the New Order church slips deeper into compliance as President Jacques Chirac, who jumped with glee when John Paul II touted as the new cry of the new church "liberty, equality and fraternity," moves closer to putting this dangerous bill into law. Oh for the saints of old who would stand and resist!

Editor's Note: Regarding our news item in the last issue, one reader - Brendon Copley submitted the following enlightenment. We did not realize it was the Indult referenced in that story. We stand corrected and publish the reader's facts:

The Society of St Pius X has a priory in Brisbane, as well as a primary school, and has three priests ministering to those of us who have left the circus that is the Archdiocese of Brisbane. (Yes, unfortunately, it really is a circus... the local papers have been reporting lately how one diocesan priest "baptizes" using the words "creator, liberator and sustainer". The Archbishop (Bathersby) has told him that these baptisms are invalid and he must use the correct formula, otherwise he may not be able to work as a priest. Of course there is now a big hoo-ha about how "authoritarian" the Church is. The irony is that Archbishop Bathersby is one of the most progressive and ecumaniacal - yes I spelled that right! - bishops in Australia, but because the papers have reported it, he had to do something to save face with Rome... Sorry for the digression, just trying to put things in perspective!)

The Latin Mass referred to in the article is celebrated according to the so-called "indult". I attend the SSPX Masses but I have checked out the indult on one occassion out of curiosity. Fr Jordan SJ is probably one of the more "conservative" priests in Brisbane (and he did give a good sermon that day), yet he is quite opposed to anything or anyone supporting Archbishop Lefebvre or the SSPX. I do not believe that he celebrates the traditional Mass except on Sundays. The article says he "revived" the Mass in 1990. Why then? Perhaps because the SSPX established their priory here not long before, as is usually the case!

I do not write this to condemn Fr Jordan or the people who attend this Mass if they do so for good intentions. I only intend to point out that the fullness of Catholic tradition (not just a Sunday Mass, but the other sacraments, adoration, family and adult catechism, primary school education, etc) can be found in Brisbane thanks to the SSPX priests. Unfortunately I have to disagree with your comment that Fr Jordan and his flock are a "remnant that is growing and planting the seeds of tradition". The priests of the SSPX are doing much more for 2-3 times as many people, even travelling to various regional areas of Queensland (the Australian state of which Brisbane is the capital) on a regular basis to provide the Mass and sacraments.

    Brendon Copley, Brisbane

  • Air of sanctity now supposedly harmful to lungs The London Telegraph has filed an article that could be listed under 'more reasons not to convert to Catholicism': Candles or incense can be harmful to your health. That is the wierd deduction some medical "experts" have come to in Europe regarding tests done on the effects of lung cancer from those exposed to the "unhealthy air inside churches" due to candle smoke and incense. Well, if you've gotta go - and we all will eventually - what better way to go? This is just another story that further seeks to demystify God's part in all this and cater to our physical temporal needs at the expense of our spiritual health. The alarmists are trying to scare the devout away by rationalizing that anyone spending a great deal of time in God's house is at risk. What they don't say is that if you don't spend time in His presence you are at greater risk. This article sounds like a Vatican II plant to persuade people to be cautious about their physical welfare while ignoring what is truly important. Amazing how many are in Heaven today because they inhaled the air of sanctity.

  • Ratzinger reflects on the monster he helped create Like Dr. Frankenstein, the Prefect for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith is chagrined that he and his cohorts of Vatican II can no longer control the monster they created in bringing the Church into modern times. The great experiment of aggiornamento has blown up in their face just as Our Lord assured, "By their fruits you shall know them." The very fact they even ventured into such apostate waters is evident fact that they have left the True Church and fashioned a new one which, while maintaining all the trappings and offices, only has the semblance of Catholicism and in no way reflects in doctrine or liturgy the Church founded by Christ. And John Paul II and his chosen minions lament the direction Europe and society have taken? It's a little late. Oh, wait, there is one way to head off the onrushing locomotive of secularism that is running roughshod over the sacred and to save countless souls globally: Abandon the failed experiment of Vatican II and return uncompromisingly to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church!

  • Bishops so confused they can't tell Catholicism from Protestantism as they waffle on course to take on Scriptural discernment Why is it these kind of problems very seldom raised their ugly heads before Vatican II? Could it be because the leaders of the Church were Catholic? Duh! It is obvious that today's prelate are anything but as they bicker amongst themselves about something that is so obvious. Catholics do not interpret the Bible, but defer to the Church's infallible, perennial Magisterium to discern it as She has always done. Advice to the bishops: Abandon the New American Bible. Go back to the Douay-Rheims Version. But these sheepish shepherds don't seem to have a clue as the Washington Times reports.

  • Signs the Apocalypse is near LifeNews has four articles that point to the fact we are not in Kansas anymore, Toto. One deals with the FDA finally admitting the problems documented from the curse of the abortion pill; another details how the UN wants to take over the internet as part of the New One World Order in muscling its way over individual rights; a third article is an omen for what the ACLU has been trying to do: eliminate God. Now Canadian chaplains must remove the crosses from their caps, reminiscent of the terrible persecution south of the border earlier in the 20th century when such valiant souls as Miguel Pro willingly gave his life for Our Lord. Many who gave their lives came from the olde sod on the Emerald Isle but today they wouldn't recognize the olde sod or the olde Faith for Ireland is barren, thanks to caving to sin and modernity. That's why, as sad as it is, it is no surprise that the Irish Prime Minister and Dublin's Archbishop have betrayed Our Lord and it didn't take 30 pieces of silver, but persuasion by the sodomites to push for homosexual unions.

  • Skylstad tabbed as head of USCCB! The more things change the more they stay the same! Anyone thinking the US bishops of the New Order were sincere in their words to all that they were changing their ways and would rein in offenders - including bishops that have covered up sodomite Novus Ordo 'priests' are left once again holding the bag. When will they learn that with Monday's announcement that Bishop William Skylstad was elected the next president of the USCCB, replacing the outgoing Wilton Gregory who did nothing on his watch, it's more of the same ol'-same ol'. Add to this that the VP elected was Cardinal Francis George and you can see it's a good ol' boys' club intended to protect their boys. Skylstad is under fire in his own diocese for covering up pedophilia and sodomy by priests he had appointed. Yes, in the New Order church the more things change, the more they stay the same. Forget the welfare of souls, just push the agendas that feed into the world, the flesh and the devil! When will the Novus Ordinarians wake up that they're being fleeced of their faith and everything else!?!

    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Third Sunday of Advent, also called Gaudete Sunday he pinpoints reasons for rejoicing if we are seeking the City of God as St. Augustine so brilliantly wrote in his masterful work of the same name. Father points out the Godincidence this year that this Sunday falls on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe when the Blessed Mother conveyed the same message to a humble peasant worker Juan Diego and gave evidence of how great the City of God could be with the miracle of the tilma and the conversion of 9 million souls and the ultimate end of human sacrifice by the Aztec nation as collectively they turned their backs on the city of man. If ever it was vital to do the same it is in these times when what the pagan Aztecs did pales in comparison to the vile abomination of abortion where human souls are sacrificed to the gods of convenience. The city of man leads only to peril and ruin as the holy Archbishop of Hippo asserts. It is a strange conundrum that the conciliar church boasts of a "New Springtime" when, in reality, it is a path in the city of man, not of God, and leads only to the autumn of dissipation of souls and the winter of discontent and ruin. Father explains in his sermon Rejoicing in the City of God

    The Sanity of Sanctity
We continue our recent tradition of bringing you the Litany of Saints for the Saints and Feasts of each month. The original concept was submitted by Jacob Michael in September. Need some impetus to prepare for Christmas during this Advent as we begin Ember Week in Advent? What we provide is a litany to all of the saints whose feast days are celebrated in the month of December. Many of these saints are little-known and often are not, for that reason, invoked in our prayers. While there are several Advent feria days in this month, almost each day is dedicated to one or more saints historically and acknowledged in the traditional calendars. If you add this short litany to your daily Rosary, you will have the benefit of invoking the prayers of some of these lesser-known saints for December and better prepare to offer a worthy gift to the Christ Child on Christmas morn. Litany of the December Saints
    Gabriel's Clarion
While it has been 'beginning to look like Christmas' since around Halloween, Gabriel Garnica zeroes in on one must-have item which has helped deteriorate society over the past 40 years and that is the Barbie Doll which beneath that seemingly innocent plastic veneer lurks the venom of feminism and the destruction of morals and the family unit that has locked millions of young girls into the compound of barbed wire where the synthetic idealistic life of Barbie is a figment of the Barbie inventor's imagination. While this might sound over dramatic, once one reads Gabriel's insightful article you too will realize the damage that has been done by its creator who gained her 'inspiration' from a pornographic German doll. It is a sobering piece that should wake up many to how insidious the devil has been in infiltrating every aspect of society. He reveals the methods in his column The First Feminist Icon
    Living our Faith
We resume our treatment of the Final Four Things. Having dealt with death and Purgatory, we now arrive at the judgment stage which are basically two judgments: our own Particular Judgment which will occur immediately upon each and every person's death when we stand alone before God to account for our brief life on this mortal earth. That is the first judgment. The second judgment, called both the General Judgment or Last Judgment is when every soul will stand publicly before God and all others and all will be revealed which was hidden for the Book of Life will be known to all and it will be either Heaven or hell for each and every soul. While God is all-loving and merciful, He is also the all-just Judge. Many in today's watered down catechesis don't understand this. That is another reason why we feel confident that these catechetical "points of enlightenment" will help more Catholics better understand their Faith, especially those who were not blessed with early formation of the Faith in the home and their parish school. Regardless of where any Catholic is in his or her journey toward salvation, he or she has to recognize that the Faith they were initiated into at the Sacrament of Baptism, making them truly members of the Mystical Body of Christ, is the most precious gift they have been given in life. If they truly want to live their Faith as it was taught in the Church of Peter to Pius XII, they must know the Faith and live it as Traditional Catholics. That is the only way to KEEP THE FAITH! Thus, in this issue we present The Last Judgment
    Catholic PewPOINT
Editor Michael Cain looks back on the 'fruits' of this past year and is ready to spit out the pits of spoiled, rotting fruit that has been shoved down the throats of so many souls without them realizing the poisonous ingredients contained therein. The warning signs are everywhere and he identifies several in taking to task the whole attitude that lukewarm is okay. It is not and if the results of this past 40 years do not prove that, then perhaps the rest will be content to wait until the Lord spews forth from His mouth those who are neither hot nor cold. That doesn't sound like a very good idea to wait out the Lord's wrath. The other alternative is to realize what God wants and get to gettin' it done. It takes work and commitment and one apostolate, or one group isn't going to get it done. It takes a traditional village of dedicated Resisters to get the job done. Our primary task for 2005, as Cain points out in his editorial, is Whether they sweat or shiver, we gotta get 'em squirming!

    LAST ISSUE'S FEATURES

For the more recent articles before the last issue, see below

    Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica turns his focus to the infallible Dogma of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary on this 150th Anniversary of Pius IX's infallible proclamation. Gabriel reinforces in everyday lay terms and examples why Catholics must believe this dogma and the common sense of it all. To doubt or deny that Mary was ever not conceived free of all sin is anathema and, yet, as Gabriel points out, there is a tie-in to the apostate thinking so prevalent today in Protestant and New Order Catholic circles that Christ is not truly present in the Holy Sacrament of the Altar, but merely a symbol. It is these same heretics who are the first to deny or try to rationalize that Mary was conceived immaculately, dismissing it all away as Catholic medieval superstition or worshipping Mary. We all know such claims by these false prophets are poppycock for we have Christ's promise as well as Mary's. With that kind of assurance and common sense Gabriel points out the inevitable, that Our Lady was,is, and always shall be The Most Consecrated Vessel

    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception he highlights what Pope Pius IX emphasized in proclaiming the dogma of the Immaculate Conception 150 years ago. Father also reminds us that Mary is always there for us no matter what our need for she is in every way a mother. But she is the purest of mothers and the filth and obscenities that permeate society today so greatly offend her, her Divine Son and the Heavenly Father. She is the last line of defense before the Lord unleashes his just wrath on those who insist on following the prince of the world. Rather than taking the low road, Father encourages all to follow Our Lady. She stands as the Morning Star reflecting the grace from God onto us if only we accept it and follow her example of purity and obedience to God's will. He explains in his sermon Behold thy Immaculate Mother
    Living our Faith
In this issue, to honor Our Lady and the dogma of her Immaculate Conception, we bring you a retro installment on the Blessed Virgin Mary for it is vital that every Catholic knows that nothing in Holy Mother Church's teaching has changed. Thus, in this issue we revisit our installment on The Blessed Virgin Mary
    THE STRAIGHT STUFF
Griff Ruby bares his soul in sharing part of his past and the axiom that "there but for the grace of God," and good parents, he could have easily ventured down that slippery slope that leads to disrespecting authority and breaking the law for that slope is paved by the devil. Griff shows what to watch for and how easy it is to fall if we are not on our guard and return constantly to square one to think before we act, think of the consequences and, above all, realize if it is not in alignment with God's will, then it greatly offends Him and for that there are definitely consequences. If you think rejection by peers is disheartening, think about rejection by our Creator and that should sober anyone up thinking of cutting corners or saying, "that won't happen to me." That is why He gave us checks and balances such as the Ten Commandments and His Church to guide us. Yet, in our humanness we still rationalize. Griff lays out the danger signs in Part One of his essay Bad Company Ruins Good Morals
    The Agony of Aggiornamento
Kathy Willett Redle returns with a challenge to Novus Ordinarian writer Sandra Miesel who has set herself up as an expert on counseling Catholics that they don't have to worry about the Masonic influence for it is nothing but a fantasy and no facts to it and those who believe it are nothing but whackos. Kathy confronts the queen of Crisis and Envoy with the facts, laid out so clearly by previous reliable Successors of Peter that indeed, the Masonic movement was deliberate and very much exists within the modern church. The Masons won't want to hear Kathy's rebuttal, but faithful Catholics will for they must be vigilant and not buy the non-alarmist nonsense spewed by the likes of Miesel. The Freemason threat, the Modernist threat and the Communistic threat remain very much so: threats! Kathy reminds the reader of what Our Lord said about the father of lies in her short essay, The Oscillating Ostrich
    Making Sense of Sensus Catholicus
Father James F. Wathen, pioneering traditional author of The Great Sacrilege, has been recuperating from CLL and, by the grace of God, improving dramatically. Much of it has to do with his determined will to continue his mission as a priest until God finally says, "come home." Father James shares why he became a priest and why being a priest is so precious to him even when he is undergoing his own Calvary. It is an encouraging short piece that will hopefully perk vocations in young men to follow in his footsteps for we desperately need good and holy Traditional priests. We present this encouragement sent by Maria Hughes. We have titled it, A Priest Forever
    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Second Sunday of Advent, he points out the encouragement of the Apostle Paul's words in today's Epistle "that through patience and the comfort of the Scriptures, we might have hope." In these times when all might seem hopeless in the face of the devastation done to Holy Mother Church from those who have infiltrated at every level and sought to besmirch the Bride of Christ, Father shows that their fruits will be in vain for Christ has promised His faithful that the wait, the suffering is worth it. Father provides the comfort of the Apostle John's words from the Apocalypse that best answers the why this has occurred at this time in history and why we must have hope. God has given us a glimpse of what awaits us by giving us the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. It is through this propitiatory offering of Christ to the Father by the priest on our behalf that we are closest to experiencing what Heaven truly is as Father illustrates in his sermon "In Him shall the Gentiles Hope"
    Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi
Kevin Tierney identifies more of the insidious omissions and alterations that the Vatican II church has become notorious for, but so few realize or know why. Kevin provides the answers, beginning with how the NOM de-emphasizes the total dependence on the Sacred Victim - Christ Himself. The NOM's Christ is a 'good-guy' who tolerates everyone and everything. A traditionalist would have a difficult time assimilating those humanistic charismas to Our Lord Who is never ambiguous, never minces words. Sadly the architects of the new religion do mince words, making the service a mince pie of nonsense that goes out of its way to avoid the necessary negative theology and our total dependence on God. They dress it up with a lot of ba-da-bing glitz that blinds so many to the truth of what is really going on. Kevin cuts through the facade to expose the fraud that is New Order. He explains in his column comparing the Propers for the Second Sunday of Advent in his column The Bad Ba-da-Bing of the NOM
    Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica tips his cap to those who decry the hypocrisy of two major networks - CBS and ABC, both of whom are notorious for Catholic bashing. He exposes the hateful hat of hypocrisy these honchos sport, revealing what long was felt to be safe and wholesome - a Mickey Mouse hat. The problem is that the whole new age, atheistic agenda was plotted by the Masons and Modernists to deceive generations into believing they no longer needed God, all they needed to do was "wish upon a star." Now many wish these two networks would change their ways in the face of their obvious hypocrisy. But that is like asking the mouse to design his own mouse trap sans cheese. It doesn't work. Just as the bishops who have caused the scandals trying to clean up the filth, or CBS doing their own internal investigation, it doesn't work for the fox is guarding the hen-house. There are all kinds of critters lose, from dragons to foxes, from wolves in shepherds' clothing to a seemingly innocent mouse. Gabriel explains in his column Hypocrisy...The "Eye" and "Ears" Have It!
    Living our Faith
We continue with our revised series on emphasizing the practical aspect of our Faith from a totally Traditional Catholic perspective. In this issue we complete the two-part installment on Purgatory in bringing to mind the Church Suffering in the great Communion of Saints. It is vital not to forget for one of the bad fruits of the conciliar church has been to blot out the idea of Purgatory for it conflicts with modern man's thinking in the great failed experiment to placate man, rather than God. Those who are responsible will be held accountable for they have caused the scandal that has jeopardized countless souls especially those who languish in Purgatory. That is why we provide this feature for we feel confident that these catechetical "points of enlightenment" will help more Catholics better understand their Faith, especially those who were not blessed with early formation of the Faith in the home and their parish school. Thus, in this issue we share ways to remember the Poor Souls with Heroic Acts of Charity in Purgatory Part Two
    THE STRAIGHT STUFF
Griff Ruby applies the lessons conveyed each time anyone boards an airliner when the flight attendant reviews the safety precautions in case of an emergency. He notes that the emphasis is placed on assuring one's own physical faculties before being able to assist someone else and shows the analogy here of this common sense that one cannot help another if one is suffocating. That is exactly what is happening in the Novus Ordo and for those who claim they can "do more good" staying where they are is akin to someone saying "I don't need the oxygen, I can breathe on my own and I'm staying put" as the plane fast loses air pressure. Where will they be when that happens? Exactly where so many in the post-conciliar church are today, lacking oxygen which affects the brain and perhaps that is the answer why they have allowed themselves to be so dumbed-down over the past several decades where they will accept anything without ever challenging the facts and the constituted evangelic traditions that have clearly warned against such dangers. If one wants to gain altitude and level out their spiritual life, Griff's column is an eye-opener to those "comfortable" in their angst. He explains in his pragmatic column A Spiritual Lesson From An Airline Stewardess
    Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica completes his four-part series on the existing grotesque three-headed dragons which have been bombarding the ramparts of morality and faith. In this issue he exposes the Third Dragon, perhaps the most powerful and deadly for its very fiber is Masonic through and through. This dragon has resorted to the idiom 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em' and they will be turned. That is exactly what this Three-headed Third Dragon's goal has been in wielding its triumverate poison of Modernism, Secularism and Atheism in every facet of society and especially within the conciliar church which either unknowingly or, God forbid, willingly allowed this monstrous beast entry. Once inside the walls, it is slowly shedding its skin and showing itself for what it truly is. The problem is that it has scorched so many souls that few remain unseared and able to recognize or defend against this ferocious, fetid, and fatal basilisk. While the First Dragon is running out of steam as more and more realize the obvious, and the Second Dragon's Achilles heel is being revealed, thus slowing it down, the Third Dragon seems to be gaining strength and growing larger, more fierce, threatening to engulf the world in its pyre of perdition for few within the Church today are willing to dig in and face this beast head-on. They fail to realize that this trilateral monster is no match to the Triune Divinity. Stand with St. Michael against the beast. Gabriel explains in his fourth and final installment: The Third Dragon
    Living our Faith
We continue with our revised series on emphasizing the practical aspect of our Faith from a totally Traditional Catholic perspective. In this issue we begin a series on the Church Suffering. Though we have just completed November, the month of the Poor Souls, we have purposely waited until the month is completed to bring this to emphasize that we should remember the Church Suffering every day of the year, not just during a certain specific time. While the promise of more souls is believed to happen during November, all prayers devoutly said for the Poor Souls will go a long way in purifying them so that they can be in the presence of the Beatific Vision. Today, when Purgatory has practically been forgotten by the modern church, we need to be ever more conscious of the Poor Souls for so many languish and are forgotten. That is why we provide this feature for we feel confident that these catechetical "points of enlightenment" will help more Catholics better understand their Faith, especially those who were not blessed with early formation of the Faith in the home and their parish school. Thus, in this issue we share the Church's doctrine on Purgatory
    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the First Sunday of Advent, he reminds us of the promised Second Coming. When the Son of man returns on the clouds of Heaven with His Saints, will there be anyone of Faith left? The way the conciliar church has evolved that might be a problem, a big problem. For they have lost the Faith of our fathers, the Faith of the saints, the Faith founded by Christ. Instead, this newChurch is something that was spawned from the spoils of the French Revolution and incubated in Freemasonry, Modernism and Marxism to hatch in the laboratory of Vatican II where they concocted this monster that contradicts the Lord. It is anathema and there is no kind way to say what will happen to those who have knowingly prevented the pruning of the bad tree, allowing the blight to spread to other branches as the leaves are wilting, blown into oblivion by false doctrines. Indeed they will pass away, for the only thing that will be left standing when Christ returns will be His Words. Father reminds us of Our Lord's very clear words of warning to those who would refuse the fullness and entirety of His Gospel for man does not have the right to reject or alter the Word of God for He has established for all time The Church, Teacher of Truth
    Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi
With a new liturgical year upon us, Kevin Tierney tackles the nuances between the essence of the Traditional Mass Propers and those invented by the Novus Ordo handlers who have gutted so much from the sacramental theology of Holy Mother Church. Like mad scientists the church of Vatican II has constantly been tinkering and trying to improve something that never needed such. Yet, in order to placate man and the Protestant mentality, the New Order has compromised so much that oozes out in the Novus Ordo Propers as Kevin illustrates in his column comparing the Propers for the First Sunday of Advent in his column Advent or Invent?
    Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica continues his series on the existing grotesque three-headed dragon which advances at the gate. In this issue he identifies the Second Dragon which has so manipulated itself with its ugly three-heads into the social fabric of everything from media to marketplace to masses. Gabriel exposes these three heads of the Second Dragon: Radical Feminism, Sodomite Forces, and Social Martyrs and warns us that it is this very beast which seeks to undermine the family unit and all the inherent values that God has deigned. The heat intensifies as this Second Dragon sears and scorches souls after the First Dragon has ignited the coals of rebellion. Gabriel explains in his third part of "The Dragon," titled, The Second Dragon
    Living our Faith
We continue with our revised series on emphasizing the practical aspect of our Faith from a totally Traditional Catholic perspective. In this issue we focus on the great heresy of Protestantism and how today's conciliar church has compromised so much to placate man, rather than God. Those who are responsible will be held accountable for they have caused the scandal that has jeopardized countless souls especially in the 16th century and in these last 50 years. In this installment we focus on the 16th century and what resulted from it and why we must be in concert with Holy Mother Church to be aware of what Protestantism really is. That is why we provide this feature for we feel confident that these catechetical "points of enlightenment" will help more Catholics better understand their Faith, especially those who were not blessed with early formation of the Faith in the home and their parish school. Thus, in this issue we share the Church's The Church's Vigilance in the face of Protestantism
    THE STRAIGHT STUFF
Griff Ruby completes his two part essay on the topic of schism. In his second part he treats the Voice of Peter and how it has been silent for several decades and could very well continue mute until the Second Great Western Schism is healed. To combat this, Griff suggests a coming together of the various Traditional Catholic groups for united we stand, divided we fall. There is a vital need for a Traditional kind of 'ecumenism' - Trad-ecumenism, if you will, in bringing together those who uphold the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church for a more charitable understanding of each group whether they believe John Paul II is a valid pope or not. For it is the liturgy and doctrine that unites us in one common goal: a stronger resistance to those who would usurp the Voice of Peter. Griff explains in The Essence of Schism Part TWO
    Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica continues his series on the existing grotesque three-headed dragon which advances at the gate. In this issue he gives us a sneak peak inside the enemy's camp, showing what the supporters of this beast are plotting. Gabriel exposes their agenda. One thing is for sure: the Dragon lurks in his cave, below the surface of visibility, plotting and planning, ready to pounce and spew forth even more incendiary idiocy in trying to corral souls for satan. What does the future hold as the Dragon prepares to scorch more souls? Gabriel shudders to think, but he avers that the faithful should all call upon those two great dragon-slayers of the Church - St. George and, of course, St. Michael the Archangel so we can all ready our shields, steady our swords for the Church Militant. We must be at our posts, ready to defend souls for the greater honor and glory of God in this fight to the finish. Gabriel outlines the enemy's plan in his second part, titled The Dragon's Next Move
    Christ or chaos
    Pope Leo XIII
Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey provides a provacative piece on his site which we want to bring to your attention for it deals, as Tom notes, with the fact that it has never been the case in the history of the Church that heresies and errors have been defeated by ignoring them. The great saints of the past forcefully battled heresies and errors, understanding that nothing less than the salvation of souls and thus the right ordering of societies depended upon their doing so. It must be no different in our own day. Those who contend, for example, that we should just be "content" with the beauty of the Traditional Mass without pointing out the inherent harm of the Novus Ordo do not have the history of the Church on their side. He explains in his column The Faith Must Be Defended

Dr. Droleskey's book G.I.R.M. Warfare has just been released this week. In it, he provides a paragraph by paragraph analysis of the 1997 General Instruction to the Roman Missal. This was first published originally between March of 2001 and June of 2003 in Christ or Chaos and also ran sequentially as "The Germs of G.I.R.M. here. It has now been revised somewhat and expanded to include articles relevant to the necessity of restoring the Traditional Latin Mass, G.I.R.M. Warfare is the perfect gift to give to your friends and relatives who think nothing is wrong with the Novus Ordo or that the "next document" from Rome will solve the problems of liturgical abuses that have their origin in the Novus Ordo Missae itself. Christmas is coming. Give them the ideal gift to bring them back home to the True Faith. To order G.I.R.M. Warfare, make out your check or money order to Chartres Communications for $24. per book ($21.00 for the book, $3.00 for shipping and handling) to: Chartres Communications, Post Office Box 188, Pine Island, New York 10969.

    Living our Faith
We continue with our revised series on emphasizing the practical aspect of our Faith from a totally Traditional Catholic perspective. In this issue we focus on dangers to the unity of the Faith: Heresy and Schism and the safeguards Holy Mother Church takes to protect souls from these mortal wounds. We highlight the major heresies and schisms up to the Protestant Reformation in this issue so more can identify current heresies and schisms that are more prevalent today in the Vatican II church and which Griff Ruby covers in his current article. For these reasons we provide this feature for we feel confident that these catechetical "points of enlightenment" will help more Catholics better understand their Faith, especially those who were not blessed with early formation of the Faith in the home and their parish school. Thus, in this issue we share the Church's teachings on Vigilance Against Heresy and Schism
    THE STRAIGHT STUFF
Griff Ruby steadies his arrows at the topic of schism and begins in this issue a two-part essay on what exactly schism is and who really is in schism. He details the logistics to show that it is truly misunderstood and that, more often than not - especially when emanating from those in support of the Vatican II church - the ones truly guilty of schism are those that separate themselves from any traditional Catholics whatsoever, traditional Catholics being who have upheld all of the authentic teachings of the Church, and therefore rejecting the alien modernist “gospel” of V-2 in obedience to St. Paul’s admonition in Galatians 1:8-10. While heresy and apostasy are sins against Faith, schism is a sin against Charity. Many bandy about the term in denigrating those who do not agree with them, thus, perhaps not even realizing that they are committing the sin of schism. Yet, where there is schism then at most only one side can be with Christ and the other against per Our Lord's words in Matthew 6: 24. Griff explains in The Essence of Schism Part ONE
    Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica sounds the clarion to signal all of the existing grotesque dragon which advances at the gate. This three-headed beast mocks the Holy Trinity and all that God holds sacred by slithering into civilization in the secular sector primarily because the ecclesial sector did not safeguard the drawbridge of infrangible doctrines and reinforce the ramparts against the savage beast's fiery projectiles of godlessness. As morals lapse, those seeking God's will grow thinner, yet they are the valiant knights who will dig in their heels to fight this vicious reptilian spirit of wickedness on high. Gabriel identifies the purpose of the different heads, all connected to the massive body of perdition seeking to sear souls in the fiery pit of hell. It is time to rise up and slay The Dragon
    Living our Faith
We continue with our revised series on emphasizing the practical aspect of our Faith from a totally Traditional Catholic perspective. In this issue we focus on the most important goal of each and every soul: their eternal salvation. Christ clearly delineated how one can be saved: Believe and be baptized. Likewise, He concluded without a doubt what would happen to those who did not: they would be condemned. Those are not our words, but the Son of God's! That is why we provide this feature for we feel confident that these catechetical "points of enlightenment" will help more Catholics better understand their Faith, especially those who were not blessed with early formation of the Faith in the home and their parish school. Thus, in this issue we share the Church's doctrines on The Church and Salvation
