Today:
Mass Confusion We continue Kathleen Willet Redle's multi-part comprehensive expose on the liturgical revolution which we have dubbed "The Golden Calf Experiment." The liturgical revolution includes mocking the sacred Traditions and inculturating pagan practices into the liturgy, all part of the dangerous experimentation, novelty and innovation spawned from the reforms of Vatican II. In truth the entire bent is towards taking away attention from the One True God - Three Persons in the Blessed Trinity - Who alone must be worshipped. Today she presents part three in which she delves into the pagan practice of dancing, often suggestive, that has slithered into the sanctuary in the guise of "liturgical dance." Kathleen exposes it for what it is and the hierarchs and lay people responsible for unloosing the serpents of serendipity in Part Three: Dancing up a storm
A Chronicle of Catholic Tradition
The fourteenth chapter of our series on the history of Holy Mother the Church and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass we begin a more in-depth study of the terrible cancer ravaging the Church which began with a simple priest who thought he knew more than God. That man Arius of Alexandria spawned a heresy that was so devastating that it would take Holy Mother Church centuries to rid the Mystical Body of it for it had so metastasized her members that it might have been permanent had it not been for the noble, brave doctors of the Church which God raised up to combat this deadly virus. If there is any heresy we can equate with the terrible Arian heresy it would be the heresy of Modernism and Ecumenism which basically denies Christ's charge for His holy Church. What is needed today is a man of the caliber of the "Apostle of Tradition" St. Athanasius who was put through trial and tribulation but triumphed because he held fast to Tradition in preserving the Sacred Deposit of the Faith while the Popes of his time were basically helpless to fend off the mult-fanged venemous viper of heresy, schism and apostasy. We present the fourteenth
installment The Arian Threat vs. the Apostle of Tradition

Gabriel's Clarion

Baseball's back and Gabriel Garnica waxed nostalgic for the days of innocence both on the fields and in our churches. He literally took the verse from Take me out to the ballgame to show us that if one could go back they wouldn't care if they ever came back to the present for they had it all in those days and didn't realize it! If only we had known then what we know now we wouldn't have sacrificed our values on the ashen altars of materialism and convenience, but we would have hit away at the evil that slithered in through the knothole of ignorance and laziness. As a result of our inaction and blind obedience to 'progress,' respect for the rules has been replaced by a new team invading the Field of Faith and of the grand old game. Blame it on expansion, innovation and novelty. The players are Pride, Covetousness, Lust, Anger, Gluttony, Envy and Sloth with Mortal and Venial as the battery and Lukewarm cooling off in the bullpen! Ah for the good old days of Tinkers-to-Evers-to-Chance or In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Say hey? Say halo! No more! The pine of the Louisville Slugger and the wood of the cross have given way to the non-serviam pitchfork of cacophony and rebellion; modernism has replaced the resin bag of reason, respect and right. Gabriel lamented in his column
Remember when they played by the Book?.

Finally, after 40 years Father Malachi Martin has been vindicated!
Editor Michael Cain shared this announcement made public by
William H. Kennedy which verifies the proof of what we have long contended: that Malachi Martin was a priest in good standing all his life and did receive proper dispensation from the Jesuits. This fact has finally been verified by the very man who contributed to the terrible treatment and malignment of this priest and famous novelist who many dubbed 'the fly on the wall' for what he knew and foretold. Father Malachi Martin has finally been vindicated by the very man who was the Vicar General of the Society of Jesus in 1965 - Fr. Vincent O'Keefe, S.J. when it was rumored and never denied by the Jesuits that Martin had been defrocked and had caused great scandal over an affair he had in Rome. the late Malachi Martin, the 78 year-old former Jesuit who is best
known for his best-selling novels on the Church and the Vatican. Through all his novels there is a fine line between fact and fiction and many claim his work is prophetic. A confidant of two Popes, he was a voracious reader and collector of information and is believed, when he received his dispensation from the Jesuit Order, to have been placed under special Pontifical protection according to Martin. This, many think, gave this staunch traditionalist the freedom to write what he did and reap the many years of research and actual Vatican dealings he experienced in translating into novel thrillers of intrigue and espionage in the genre of John Le Carre and John Grisham that, as each year passes, we see is truer than fiction. Cain expounded in his Hot Issues commentary A Reputation Recouped! The 'Fly on the Wall' is Freed at Last!
Tuesday:
Mass Confusion With the Holy Season behind us, we resumed our regular programming, if you will, in bringing you a new writer to The Daily Catholic Kathleen Willet Redle who has written a multi-part comprehensive expose on the liturgical revolution which she titled "The Golden Calf Dancers" when previously published in Canada. But now she has enhanced and updated the piece so we have dubbed it "The Golden Calf Experiment." The main reason is that dancing is merely a component of the experiment and that the entire bent is towards taking away attention from the One True God - Three Persons in the Blessed Trinity - Who alone must be worshipped. Many false idols today pose a threat and Kathleen showed how the seeds of revolution are sown. She pointed out various omens given from Heaven and yet, like the people of Moses' time who turned their backs on God and in desperation worshipped the golden calf, so also today history repeats itself despite the fact that those who foment revolution are always brought down by their own making for mammon always turns on its own when it has no more need of them just as Christ asserts in Luke 16: 9. Kathleen picked up where she left off on March 24th with Part Two The Resolution to Revolution
Hope on the Horizon

Pat Buchanan, a most orthodox Catholic exposed the shallowness that makes up the fiber of John Kerry and his faith. Buchanan pointed out Kerry's slip in referring to John XXIII as Pius XXIII, but what is really needed for the Church today - is a man of the caliber of Pope Pius XII who would forever abandon the anathema that is Vatican II. That would be a Pius XIII! A holy GOOD Pope, how refreshing, who would clear out the charlatans. We can only pray. In the meantime, it is about time Catholics recognize the charade and lies Kerry is spreading from his insistence that he can still receive communion while in the state of mortal sin and a do-nothing archbishop who says one thing but when push comes to shove, puts his ostrich miter into the sand. This is exactly what happened this weekend when, despite Boston Archbishop Sean O'Malley's assurances that Kerry should not approach the communion line, Kerry did. What makes it even worse is O'Malley's spineless response. Instead of a showdown, because O'Malley knew what was going to happen since the cantankerous Kerry, who could care less about the truth whether it's in religion or politics, made it quite clear where he would be Easter Sunday, O'Malley blinked. Another example of the terrible leadership in the church today as Buchanan nailed the problem in his WorldNetDaily column
Fr. Kerry & Pius XXIII
Monday:
Gabriel's Clarion

Gabriel Garnica had been gnawing at the bit to refute the poisonous pestle poured out on the public last Monday at the beginning of Holy Week. Because of that sacred time, he bided his time before replying. Easter is over and Gabriel figured it was time to let ABC have it with both barrels over the bitter poison of progressivist pabulum passed off as having importance, even factual. What rubbish! exclaimed Gabriel which is echoed by every loyal Catholic. How dare they. But then what do you expect from ABC whose anti-Catholic track record is legend!? Enough is enough. Maybe the ratings weren't great in their blatant attempt to twist the Gospels and the whole intent and content of Christianity. Amidst three hours of drivel regurgitated over and over, never - ever - was the Holy Ghost mentioned as the One Who inspired St. Paul just as Jesus promised. No that very key ingredient of Christianity was noticeably and purposely missing, all part of
The Sin and The Spin.
Hope on the Horizon

Brent Bozell echoed Gabriel's lament on the atrocious piece by ABC by affirming, that "...the media's Rolodex of religion experts was dominated by academics who are hostile to religious orthodoxy." Bozell, President of Media Research Center, also pointed to the blackballing of truth that has occurred in the media as the torch of truth is steamrolled by the blackball of conjecture and fabrication. He identified the true hate speech as coming from the liberal media, especially in the needless uproar over 'The Passion of The Christ', "We have suicide bombers blowing up buses in Israel and very real anti-Semitism on the march in Europe, but the TV networks located the worldwide danger zone for Jews as the space between Mel Gibson's ears." Brent provided statistics showing the increase of religious news, but it isn't really religious only new thought to try to justify the New Order. He explained in his Townhall column from just this past week
The sad paradox of religion news
Echoes of True Catholicism

Dr. Marian Therese Horvat exposed the feeble attempt by the bishops to govern themselves for indeed it is the foxes guarding the henhouses as she pointed out in debunking the John Jay College figures which, in effect, were paid by the bishops to make them look as good as possible in light of the terrible scandal. What is even worse, the bishops are trying to whitewash it all as something in the past, as if miraculously the venomous viper has been cast out and its head crushed. She emphasized that this is impossible considering the 'fruits' of their efforts and their obvious intention to continue to allow homosexuals to pursue the priesthood. She syllogized how it all boils down to the main culprit - the culture of Vatican II which, in effect, did away with the strict moral order of the Church in embracing the ways of the world. Indeed the satanic asp is not only firmly entrenched, it has spawned many more poisonous reptilian heresies under many rocks despite the bishops' insistence that "no stone has been left unturned in getting to the bottom of this." In truth, as Marian so adroitly proved No Stone Left Unturned Except One: Vatican II
EASTER SUNDAY:
"Qui legit, intelligat"

In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the most Solemn of Solemnities of Easter Sunday, he reaffirmed what the Scriptures confirm and what Holy Mother Church has always taught as he provided various testimonies from Divine Revelation and true learned men of the Church to the fact we must die with Christ in our flesh, so to speak, by shedding the vices of the old man and putting on the garment of grace of the new man in order to be worthy to rise with Him in our resurrection when, purified of all sin, we can take our place in the everlasting light. The way can only be illuminated by Lumen Christi - the Light of Christ which is our beacon on the path to Heaven. Father explained in his Easter sermon in quoting from St.Paul's words in Romans 6: 5,
"In the likeness of His Resurrection"
Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi

Kevin Tierney presented his Easter installment on the Disciplines of the Season. Having passed from Lent and Passiontide we now focus on the beauty and significance, the power and glory of the Resurrection. Yet, as Kevin pointed out, the Novus Ordo still doesn't get it even though they have so stalwartly preached the Resurrected Christ much more than the Crucified Lord as evident from the crosses in so many churches today that bear the Resurrected One rather than the Immolated One at Calvary. In this series simply called "Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi." He took the reader through the Propers of the Traditional Latin Mass for the glorious Double of the First Class Feast of the Resurrection of the Lord and compared key points where once again omissions glaringly reveal themselves which once again points out how the New Order Rite expresses a Protestant mentality in so many ways. Kevin identified the differences in The Disciplines of the Season: EASTER SUNDAY
From Eden to the Empty Tomb

Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey completed his special series on Reflections of Salvation History with the Glorious Resurrection. In this special six-part series on "A Reflection of Salvation History," first introduced to our readers last year and brought to you to enhance your contemplation for this holy season, Tom took us from Eden to the empty tomb. He pointed out that, despite the hardships, the sacrifices, the insults, the scourging, the stripping, the nailing and hanging on the wood of the Cross, Christ proved for all time that it was worth it. Is it worth it to us? By our actions and fidelity to His teachings passed down through His Holy Church and carried out in the Sacraments, especially Baptism, Penance and the Holy Eucharist, we illustrate if we think so. If we are His loyal lambs, Christ the Lamb of God has guaranteed He will be loyal to us at our Particular Judgment. Nothing else matters for salvation is at stake. Alleluia.
From Eden to the Empty Tomb
Holy Saturday:
Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica reminded all of the great dangers of throwing opinions around for, like darts, they can stick, they can hurt and they can do great harm. He went beyond the excuse that "everyone has an opinion" by deciphering between fact and fiction, between opinion and truth. Often times the weapon of opinions are loaded in the arsenel of satan and few there are who are aware how deadly their words can be. Gabriel cautioned us all to keep the good intentions we have been working on during Lent for increasing virtuous actions by being ever on our guard between
Godly vs. UnGodly Opinions.
From Eden to the Empty Tomb

Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey continued with his special series for this holiest and most meaningful of seasons. Leading up to the Easter Vigil for Holy Saturday all remains stripped bear for Christ is nowhere to be found. This liturgical symbolism in the Easter Triduum of Our Lord in the tomb is, unfortunately, too prevalent today in society where so many seek to dismiss Christ from their thoughts in order to continue their own sinful agendas. They are lost in the darkness and it is only through the Lumen Christi - the Light of Christ - that they will find their way. By His Death and Resurrection the new Adam has won for us - through His merits and the co-redemptrix fiat of the new Eve His sinless Blessed Mother - the reality of eternal life in recovering what our first parents had lost. Tom reflected in From Eden to the Empty Tomb - Part Five HOLY SATURDAY
Good Friday:
"Qui legit, intelligat"

In Father Louis Campbell's reflections for Good Friday, he pointed out the signs of God's Love for us from the signs His only-begotten Son left behind, a sign so many still refuse to recognize and that is the Shroud of Turin which science cannot refute, but Father easily refuted the anathemas that were spewed on ABC's progressive program Jesus and Paul this past Monday which was a blatant attempt to grab some quick ratings by piggybacking on the popularity of 'The Passion of The Christ'. ABC's blatant anti-Christian, indeed anti-Catholic offering - typical for them - and presented by the 'Lord of Liberals' Peter Jennings were akin to the swine into which the demons fled. We know what that herd did, rushing pell mell over the precipice. Christ says why throw pearls to the swine and indeed, why put up with such heretical drivel the secular networks try to pass off as credible when we have Mel Gibson's masterpiece which is a pearl, a priceless pearl that reinforces exactly what the facts of the Shroud of Turin bear out in confirming its authenticity. For Good Friday Father shared a special reflection as a bonus meditation for this most solemn and saddest day of the year, yet one so full of hope as Father explained in
Signs of His Love
Quid Dicit Scriptura?

Jacob Michael completed his five-part reflections on the Sorrowful Mysteries in helping us all better understand the scope of this week in his short series "Five Days of Sorrow." Jacob asked us to stand with Christ's Blessed Mother and His beloved disciple and the few others who braved the scourning of others to stand uncompromisingly with Him to the bitter end. The pain He suffered was bitter as Jacob described through medical and historical facts that make it all the more remarkable He could survive for three hours on the Tree of Salvation...and all for us! Yet we can't spend one hour with Him? Perhaps we need to get our perspectives in order so that He will recognize us when we knock and say "Lord?" Few there are who want to hear,"I do not recognize you, begone." Thanks to His crucifixion, He opened that door, but we must be willing to go through it on His terms, His Divine Will as Jacob delivered a most inspiring meditation for Good Friday on
The Crucifixion of Our Lord
From Eden to the Empty Tomb

In keeping with the season we continued a special retro series first presented by Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey last year for The Daily Catholic readers on A Reflection on Salvation History. It stretches from Adam and Eve to the glory of the Paschal Lamb on Easter Sunday. We also encourage you to catch up on his most recent articles at his own site at Christ or chaos. Today he reflects on the everlasting impact of the wood - the wood of the manger, the feeding trough of life became the wood of the Cross - the feeding trough of everlasting life. Tom asked if we will stand with Him, walk with Him, suffer the scorn and scourgings, be nailed with Him to the Cross. Or will we cave to the crowd and join them in rejecting the One True God? How we respond could determine if we truly understand the glory of the Resurrection which awaits. Tom reflected in
From Eden to the Empty Tomb Part Four
Maundy Thursday:
Qui legit, intelligat"

In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for Maundy Thursday's Mass, he emphasized on the institution of the priesthood by the Divine Priest the importance of the priesthood, the vital necessity for priests to be as pure and worthy of the call of Melchizedech that, one ordained through the most noble of Sacraments in the carrying out of Christ's charge in Mark 16: 15-16, could fulfill and increase the number of saved souls through his exemplary sacerdotal behavior and his vow to preserve the Sacred Traditions and Doctrines of Christ's Church and, most vital, the administration of the most Sublime Sacrament in being the alter Christus where he is the only instrument able to carry out the necessary Transubstantiation to offer to the Father the True Presence of Jesus in the unbloody propitiatory Sacrifice of the Mass. Yes, there is nothing more sublime or necessary for Catholics. The world has never understood the sacerdotal nature of the priesthood, but in its ignorance it has greatly misrepresented this most sacred vocation in which the essence is to work counterproductive to worldly goals. The very fact that the priesthood has been so viciously attacked by satan through the unprecedented assaulting of the human vulnerabilities of so many priests and their bishops who have become lax and caused grave scandals makes the road for good, dedicated priests all the more men who can assimilate their suffering with Christ on the road to Calvary. Why are priests so precious and priceless to the faithful and the preservation of the True Faith? Contrary to the relaxed and, often times anathematical norms of Vatican II, only the priests can offer, on behalf of Christ, the cup of salvation containing His Most Precious Body and Blood. Father explained in his sermon "I will take up the cup of salvation"
Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica called all Catholics to come to the defense of the Saving Victim - O Salutaris Hostia for the Bread of Angels Panis Angelicus is under heavy assault in every way as the New Order seeks to totally Protestanize the infrangible belief in the Real Presence in so many ways. Gabriel cited two saints who hungered for the Heavenly Manna and had a fire in their heart and soul to do all they could to preserve the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ. On this day when we celebrate the institution of this most wonderful Sacrament to which we bend our knee in deep adoring Tantum ergo Sacramentum we can take time just to say thank you to Jesus for this most wonderful gift He gave us for time immemorial - His immemorial Mass in which we are privileged to re-enact His propitiatory Sacrifice on the altar in an unbloody manner. What joy should fill every Catholic heart and soul. We should never want to leave His side if we truly believe He is present in the holy Tabernacle. Gabriel explained further in his column
The Real Presence and the New Order .
Quid Dicit Scriptura?

Jacob Michael continued to apply Divine Revelation in his reflections on the Sorrowful Mysteries this week to help us all better understand the scope of this week in his short series "Five Days of Sorrow." Jacob focused on the trek up Calvary - the Via Dolorosa - "Way of Sorrows" and how much more difficult it really was for Our Lord than anyone can imagine considering His thoroughly battered condition and the weight and balance of the beam. Jacob pointed out that Christ did not carry His cross alone, but allowed Simon the Cyrenian to help. So also He invited us to share our cross with Him and to share the crosses of others for if we can share the pain, we will also share in the great gain of grace. This means aiding His Mystical Body which surely needs help today as She struggles under the burden of modernism and other heresies. Jacob delivered a most inspiring meditation for Maundy Thursday on
The Carrying of the Cross
From Eden to the Empty Tomb

In keeping with the season we continued a special retro series first presented by Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey last year for The Daily Catholic readers on A Reflection on Salvation History. It stretches from Adam and Eve to the glory of the Paschal Lamb on Easter Sunday. We also encouraged you to catch up on his most recent articles at his own site at Christ or chaos. For the 1,971st anniversary of the Institution of the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, Tom reflected on how "Holy Thursday is the time to enter deep into the mystery of God's love." Tom emphasized the need to wait and watch with Christ, truly present when the bread and wine are validly confected into the Body and Blood of Christ, Soul and Divinity. Just as His Own apostles failed the test to stand with Him, so also do we time and time again no matter how good our intentions. Dr. Droleskey invited us to resolve to stick it out this time, stay with Him through the blood and guts, so to speak, so that we can truly share in the triumph of the Cross at the Dawn of Pachaltide. Wednesday:
Quid Dicit Scriptura?

Jacob Michael continued to apply Divine Revelation in his reflections on the Sorrowful Mysteries this week to help us all better understand the scope of this week in his short series "Five Days of Sorrow." Jacob hopes to give each reader a better grasp of their own life and put it all in perspective. Indeed the force with which the soldiers plunged the cruel thorn-plated helmet into Christ's sacred skull would doom any man to immediate, indescribable pain and horror. Yet Christ did not give up, He did not say "Enough!" He merely remained silent as his torturers mocked and derided Him further. Talk about harassment and persecution. Think about what He went through for us the next time we feel put upon. Jacob shared some astounding medical and historical facts that make the crowning of thorns all the more horrible in scope as he provided a most inspiring meditation for Wednesday of Holy Week on
The Crowning of Thorns
Shears and Tears of a Lamb Catharine Lamb helped us prepare for the beginning of the Easter Triduum by giving us a better perspective of the symbolism and meaning of the rituals of Maundy Thursday and why it is called such, for Maundy means Mandatum which translates to 'Commandment' and this Christ gave us with the institution of the Blessed Sacrament gifting those worthy of His graces His Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity. Catharine also gave us some insight into the Office of Tenebrae and where it originated and its beautiful meaning and customs kept alive from the monks keeping Christ company overnight to Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the side chapel for the faithful to keep watch. Catharine takes us through Maundy Thursday's magnificent liturgy practiced for so many centuries by Holy Mother Church. She explained in - Maundy Thursday: A New Commandment I Give Unto You
Tuesday:
Christ or chaos
Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey weighed in with a most powerful and necessary essay on the state of consciences today. Too many have accepted the compromise and in so doing have only empowered satan further. He addressed the Bishops of the United States, dressing them down for their lukewarmness and pulled no punches when it comes to the Democratic candidate for president John F. Kerry who is trying to ride on the coattails of another JFK whose own heresy began America on this trek into moral depravity and a loss of its soul. Tom pointed out the magnificence and absolute principles outlined by Pope Leo XIII in Sapientiae Christianae 114 years ago which holds truer today for politicians and the hierarchy than ever before. Tom also reminded that it is not the political parties who have the answers. Neither the pro-abort Dems or the hypocritical GOP are the answer. The only answer is to strive with every ounce of energy and breath of life to preserve life - everlasting life - by seeking to re-establish the Social Kingship of Christ no matter what it takes. Tom laid it all out in his hard-hitting column
Craven Cowards and Judases!.

Indeed Christ's terrible scourging at the Pillar, so brilliantly and vividly portrayed by Mel Gibson in his masterpiece film, is really only a hint of what Our Lord suffered. And what He suffered were the lashes of our sins - from the most inconspicuous venial sin to the most deliberate and vile mortal sin. They are all offensive to God and need to be atoned for since God operates in "Trinity Time" not linear time. Jacob reminded us to reflect on this scourging and realize every time we sin or have sinned it is another deep bruise in the precious Body of Christ as he shared a most inspiring meditation for Tuesday of Holy Week on
The Scourging at the Pillar
Monday:
Quid Dicit Scriptura?

Jacob Michael used Divine Revelation to help us all better understand the scope of this week, and the unimaginable Love God has for us that He would send His only-begotten Son to die for us so that we might live. What Jacob hopes to accomplish in his series, which are basically the Sorrowful Mysteries in "Five Days of Sorrow," is to give us all a better grasp of our own lives and put it all in perspective for every drop of His Precious Blood from those first tears in Gethsemani to the last on Golgatha had a definite, specific purpose in atonement for our sins. Jacob confirms that indeed Christ did shed tears of blood in the Garden and what those tears meant as well as the necessary comfort of the angel as he shared a most inspiring meditation for Monday of Holy Week on
The Agony in the Garden
Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica reminded us of the simple virtuous traits lived by the Saint of Lourdes, the holy Bernadette whose sanctity was confirmed by God by leaving mankind with a sign of her holiness and adherence to Sacred Tradition for her body remains incorrupt today, nearly 125 years after her death in Nevers, France. Gabriel shared the fact that though Bernadette may not have been a learned Doctor of the Church in the mold of Thomas or Teresa of Avila, she was every way their equal in virtue and, like another French saint, found the simple way the best. Gabriel equated the seven traits of simplicity Bernadette lived to each day of this holiest of weeks in the year when we can apply the practicality of her simple advice which will do wonders in Heaven if we but have a sincere, simple heart full of love for Christ. Gabriel enumerated on her traits in his column
Bernadette Soubirous - Doctor of Simplicity.
