Part III - The Shadowing
SEVENTH CHAPTER
Episode One - Upon landing in Rome, Niki is discovered by Dr. Makuta Ogidi in the hold of the C-130 transport with the caskets.
Episode Two - Pat discovers the fate of Fasif, Elias and Helena as Fr. Stephen and Macelli wait for the caskets to be released.
Episode Three - Macelli and Vendhem plot as Fr. Niki finds shelter in a simple flat on the other side of Rome provided by Dr. Ogidi.
Episode Four - The coffins are arranged in St. Peter's in preparation for the funeral as Fr. Niki goes undercover in Rome.
Episode Five - Pat rendezvous with Karel in St. Peter's Square, the beginning of a cloak and dagger tour through Rome.
Episode Six - Macelli receives a vile vial from Elena Grabe while Fr. Niki discovers the shocking intent of a small piece of plastic.
Episode Seven - Benziger makes plans to notify someone he can trust as Pat heads for an evening meeting with Karel.
Episode Eight - Pat can do nothing to save Fasif's daughter Karel as he realizes too late he has walked into the Legion's lair.
EIGHTH CHAPTER
Episode One - Pat Gallagher recovers from a concussion and bruised ribs as he meets another of Niki's mysterious friends.
Episode Two - Dr. Makuta Ogidi divulges more on the Legion of the Basilisk as Pat and Fr. Niki can practically feel the hissing.
Episode Three - A new day dawns as tension begins to build both in fitful sleep and in the fears of what the Legion is planning.
Episode Four - Riage tends to the comatose pope while Pat relates his hellish nightmare of the Basilisk to Niki.
Episode Five - A weakened Benziger returns to the Vatican as Stephen experiences a haunting vision inside the Holy See.
Episode Six - Benziger betrayed; his only hope that someone on the side of right will find his S.O.S. scribbled on a towel.
Episode Seven - Pat, Niki, Stephen and Ogidi meet incognito at the Ristorante Romano in Rome as whispers wait in the shadows.
Episode Eight - When they least expect it, the beast appears and Pat Gallagher is the target of all its hideous hatred and horror.
NINTH CHAPTER
Episode One - Corrie expects the worst after a call from Vic as the Legion plots further terror - this time the theater is the Vatican.
Episode Two - In the midst of a winter storm coming off the plains of Texas, Vic confides in Corrie's trust and Pat's possible fate.
Episode Three - The power of prayer calls forth the mercy of God where the blood of martyrs became the seed of Christianity.
Episode Four - Inside Vatican City Pat escapes yet another close shave with death, but Riage Benziger is not as fortunate.
Part IV - The Shrouding
TENTH CHAPTER
Episode One - As the Pope struggles for life, Niki and Dr. Ogidi track two members of the Legion of the Basilisk to a home in the hills.
Episode Two - Pat is smuggled into the Vatican by Msgr. Navarro as Riage Benziger fights to stay alive in loyalty to his Pope.
Episode Three - Niki and Ogidi uncover clues to the Legion's scheme while Stephen and Sr. Bridie help an injured Pat.
Episode Four - Sr. Bridie smuggles Pat into the Vatican Infirmary as Legion cardinals plot the destruction of the Holy See.
Episode Five - Lorenzo reveals the explosive nature of the mylar Niki gave him as Grabe, masked as a nun, intimidates Sr. Bridie.
Episode Six - Background on the proceedings before the Conclave and the Sistine as Stephen encounters a mysterious Australian.
Episode Seven - Stephen introduces the Prince of the Conclave to Colin Rembert, who introduces a new marvel of technology.
Episode Eight - Sister Bridie tries to smuggle Stephen to the infirmary but they are intercepted by the nefarious Macelli.
ELEVENTH CHAPTER
Episode One - Monsignor Navarro escapes and seeks out Cardinal Zachmunn to confide to his mentor the dangers lurking about.
Episode Two - Pat discovers where Pope Clement XV has been taken, while Sr. Bridie bravely withstands torture by the Legion.
Episode Three - Cardinal Zachmunn's strategy to avert the possibility of 40 unworthy bishops being recognized as preconized.
Episode Four - Stephen is surprised by two Swiss Guards as the plot thickens with Cardinal Zachmunn countering the Legion.
Episode Five - Lobbying begins in earnest as enemies form within the ranks of the Cardinals and Gregroy seeks to identify them.
Episode Six - Vic confides in Ben O'Fallon at his Dallas pub what Van Wess must do to stop the Legion.
Episode Seven - Vic goes toTurtle Creek to confront Blix while Niki and Ogidi plan their next move inside Rome's Coliseum.
Episode Eight - The detonator is delivered to the Vatican as Blix alerts Grabe to be on the watch for Pat Gallagher.
TWELFTH CHAPTER
Episode One - A crucial chess game at the General Congregation will have tremendous ramifications on the coming Conclave.
Episode Two -In the aftermath of the General Congregation in Rome, Corrie searches for direction in a quiet Dallas church.
Episode Three - Lobbying begins in earnest for papabili. Vic meets a horrendous fate while Blix takes Corrie hostage.
Episode Four - Explosives are planted at the Metroplex Mirror while in Rome Rembert puts the Australian Cardinal on the hot seat.
Episode Five - While the Legion searches for Pat inside the Vatican, Ben discovers the sabotage at Vic's office.
Episode Six - Blix fumes in flight while in Rome Sr. Bridie, pumped with truth serum, helplessly reveals Pat's whereabouts.
Episode Seven - The Basilisk moves in as Grabe enters the infirmary to destroy Pat while Stephen scrambles to free Sr. Bridie.
Part V - The Shedding
THIRTEENTH CHAPTER
Episode One - Pat races away from his pursuers on the Colonnade roof above St. Peter's Square. Where will it lead him?
Episode Two - Pat and Niki find themselvers trapped on the cupola above St. Peter's main altar as the Legion closes in.
Episode Three - Cardinal Zachmunn, Stephen and Sr. Bridie tunnel beneath St. Peter's while the Legion tries to regroup.
Episode Four - Pat and Niki descend St. Peter's dome, across the roof, and down while Cardinal Zachmunn falls very ill.
Episode Five - While Stephen contacts Colin from the Papal Quarters, Pat and Niki blow their way into Castel Sant'Angelo.
Episode Six - Dr. Ghislieri tends to Cardinal Zachmunn in the wee hours, while Pat and Niki find the weakened Pope Clement XV.
FOURTEENTH CHAPTER
Episode One - At opposite ends of the Hadrian Wall, Holy Mass is offered at dawn on the day of the funerals and Conclave.
Episode Two - The weakened Pope receives Holy Communion from Niki but Pat's is reserved for later as the Legion closes in.
Episode Three - Pat reaches the Papal Apartment to gather sustenance for a depleted Pope as the resisters counter the Legion.
Episode Four - The Legion preps the Pantheon Black Mass while Cardinal Zachmunn engineers the Resistance; Corrie escapes.
Episode Five - Collier throws a crimp in the Resistance's evacuation while the Black Mass continues; Elena plunges to her death.
Episode Six - The Funeral Mass begins as the Satanic Mass comes to a sickening end and Pat brings needed supplies to the Pope.
Episode Seven - Stephen and Colin team up to alert Cardinal Mendoza of the explosive candles; Corrie arranges to meet Navarro.
Episode Eight - Elena's detonator, timed for 12 noon, is found as the Resistance races against the clock to evacuate everyone.
FIFTEENTH CHAPTER
Episode One - Zero hour arrives as massive explosions rock the Vatican, destroying Paul VI Hall and all buildings nearby.
Episode Two - As the dust settles, damages are assessed; Pat and Corrie are reunited with the others in the Papal Quarters.
Episode Three - Cardinal Zachmunn et aliii clue Pope Clement XV to damages as Blix's chopper retrieves the Legion's principals.
Episode Four - While Macelli and Venhem try to regroup for the Conclave, Blix panics and eliminates the other Legion principals.
Episode Five - Unbeknownst to all but a few, Clement XV is smuggled into the Sistine as the Resistance prepares for the unveiling.
Episode Six - The Conclave begins in the Sistine while in St. Peter's Square Blix is up to no good masquerading as a Franciscan.
Part VI - The Unveiling
SIXTEENTH CHAPTER
Episode One - The world and Legion discover the Pope is alive as Cardinals Mendoza and Zachmunn trump the Legion's objectives.
Episode Two - Pope Clement XV delivers his final decree in seeking to undo the terrible damage done over the last 50 years.
Episode Three - Sergeant Kutsch springs Macelli and Vendhem from the Dungeon in a bloody massacre as Blix recaptures Corrie.
Episode Four - Pat and Niki pursue Corrie and her kidnapper - the mysterious cowled one as Ogidi investigates a night flight to Iraq.
Episode Five - Blix manages, with Macelli & Vendhem's help, to capture Pat, Corrie & Niki; they're headed back to Iraq on Blix's jet.
Episode Six - The Legion & prisoners land at Basra, heading for the Field of Death; Colin intercepts their plans. Will help arrive?
Episode Seven - Fenton returns to untie Pat, Corrie & Niki before Blix, Vendhem, Macelli & Ogidi prepare for the Master's arrival.
Episode Eight - The unveiling of good & evil: the Master & the only One Who can destroy it are revealed in the stunning conclusion.
