"What, you refuse to say the Rosary?"
Has this ever been said to you? It's been said to me on several occasions. Here's some of the reasoning I've heard for refusing to say the Rosary: "I have other prayers I say, I don't have time to include the Rosary, it takes too much time." "I go to Church, that's enough." "It's boring, too repetitive." Etc.
For those who refuse to say the Rosary, please read the following excerpts taken from the book entitled "The Secret of the Rosary" by St. Louis De Montfort I'd bet the following will change some minds...
There was a certain pious but self-willed lady who lived in Rome during the time of the holy founder of the Order of Preachers St. Dominic. Having decided to ask St. Dominic's advise about her spiritual life, she asked him to hear her confession. For penance, he gave her one whole Rosary to say, and advised her to say it every day. She said that she had no time to say it, excusing herself on the grounds that she made the Stations of Rome every day, she wore sack-cloth and also a hair shirt, that she gave herself the discipline several times a week, and that she carried out so many other penances and fasted much.
St. Dominic urged her over and over again to take his advise and say the Rosary, but she would not here of it. She left the confessional horrified at the tactics of this new spiritual director who had tried to persuade her to take on a devotion that was not to her liking.
Later on when she was in prayer, she fell into ecstasy and had a vision of her soul appearing before Our Lord's Judgment Seat. St Michael put all her penances and other prayers onto one balance of the scales, and all her sins and imperfections onto the other scale. The tray of the good works was greatly outweighed by that of her sins and imperfections.
Filled with horror, she cried for mercy, imploring the help of the Blessed Virgin, her glorious advocate, who took the one and only Rosary that she had said for penance and dropped it onto the tray of her good works. The one Rosary was so heavy that it weighed more than all her sins as well as all her good works. Our Lady then reproved her for having refused to follow the counsel of her servant Dominic, and not saying the Rosary every day.
As soon as she came to herself, she rushed and threw herself at the feet of St. Dominic and told him all that happened, begged forgiveness for her unbelief, and promised to say the Rosary faithfully every day. By this means, she rose to Christian perfection, and finally to the glory of everlasting life.
So what has happened that so few say the Rosary today? Could it be that reverence and devotion have gone the way of the dodo bird thanks to Vatican Two? Could be? Oh, yes it is. Think about the disciplines of the religious orders. Today we ask would you be surprised if you found out that the religious orders of the Vatican II sect are almost dead? It shouldn’t be a surprise. After all, why would a Catholic young man or woman want to join religious orders when basically the only thing they stand for is "promotion of false religions" and so-called "human dignity?" Pope St Pius X said: "There is only one human dignity and that is Catholic dignity."
Don't think we need the Rosary? Here's what's going on: The American nuns are in an uproar because their Modernist, scandalous curriculums are even to drastic for Modernist Rome. "Franciscans" in Massachusetts welcomed gay "Catholics" with no denunciation of their abominable homosexual lifestyle, which only served to tacitly condone and encourage them to continue sinning. Now speaking of Franciscans...true Franciscans that is, here is what its founder, St. Francis of Assisi said in Prophesy:
"There will be an un-canonically elected pope who will cause a great schism. There will be diverse thoughts preached which will cause many, even those in the different orders to doubt, yea, even agree with those heretics which will cause my Orders to divide. Then there will be such universal dissensions and persecutions that if those days were not shortened even the elect would be lost."
How interesting is that? St Francis' prophesy was then and is now right on target! No wonder the Modernists of Vatican II are trying to diminish the Rosary.
The official website of the Irish "Jesuits" prominently states that there can be: "No service of faith without...openness to other religious experiences." This is from the General Congregation of Irish Jesuits. This, of course, is total apostasy. Mind you now, the Irish of the past centuries were with high esteem with Our Lord for their religiosity. Take a peek now into Ireland...What do you see? Do you see religiosity as it once was in Ireland? No, and no promotion of the Rosary either.
The Novus Ordo "Trappists" and "Jesuits" are officially installed in Novus Ordo Monasteries as teachers of Zen Buddhism! Trappist "priest," "Father" Kevin Hunt is photographed on his knees being installed as a Zen Teacher by "Jesuit" "Father" Robert Kennedy. A statue of Buddha is displayed in the background. (Photos and story available in the July 16,2004 issue of National Catholic Reporter.) See also Monastic Interreligious Dialogue (Newsletter). The installation was witnessed by the abbot of St. Joseph's and the rest of the monastic community as well as by over seventy guests, including Zen teachers and members of Catholic religious orders from around the country.
In recognition of this unique event letters of commendation were written by the Dalai Lama and by Father Peter-Hans Kolvenbach, the superior general of the Society of Jesus. Father Kolvenbach wrote, "Many Christians have found Zen to be a valuable instrument for progressing in the spiritual life." Here's the scary part: Father Peter Kolvebach is the leader of the entire "Jesuit" Order in the Vatican II sect, and, the Dalai Lama claims to be a "god." So now that there are ceremonies going on in the Novus Ordo Monasteries to induct men as teachers of the occultist practice of Zen Buddhism -- what's next, will they bow to the Dalai Lama as their god?
Do not forget where they get their marching orders. Three Assisi summits have graphically illustrated the blatant apostasy and when John Paul II and Benedict XVI both proclaim that Jews and Muslims worship the same God, well you can't wonder why cloistered nun Sister Angela del Bono says: "...each man can go to Heaven - Jews, Catholics, Muslims, Zulus - if they are...of good will." She expressed precisely the heresy CONDEMNED by Pope Gregory XVI, that Heaven is open to the naturally "good" members of any religion.
In Mirari Vos (#13), August 15,1832 Pope Gregory XVI wrote:
"With the admonition of the apostle, that 'there is one God, one faith, one baptism' (Ephesians 4:5), may those fear who contrive the notion that the safe harbor of salvation is open to persons of any religion whatever. They should consider the testimony of Christ Himself that 'those who are not with Christ are against Him,' (Luke 11:23) and they that disperse unhappily who do not gather with Him,' Therefore, 'without a doubt, they will perish forever, unless they hold the Catholic faith whole and inviolate' (Athanasian Creed)."
Many other facts can be shown that the religious orders of the Vatican II sect is almost dead, but enough has been presented here to convince you (hopefully) to avoid following this herd of wacky heretics that will lead you off the cliff and won't employ the Rosary to tether them to Mary, who would protect them from such heresy if only they would implore her help. But for most the Rosary has become a symbol of the 'old way', those out-of-touch pre-Vatican II days before all were "enlightened." As if Our Lady and St. Dominic and all the other saints and sinners were wrong or merely superstitious.
The Blessed Mother appeared to St. Dominic in 1214 and imparted these words: "Dominic, do you know which weapon the Blessed Trinity wants to use to reform the world?"
"Oh, my lady," answered St Dominic, "you know far better than I do..."
Then Our Lady replied: "I want you to know that, in this kind of warfare, the battering ram has always been the Angelic Psalter (the Rosary) which is the foundation stone of the New Testament. Therefore if you want to reach these hardened souls and win them over to God, preach my Psalter (the Rosary)." (The Secrets of the Rosary, page 18.)
It should be noted also that Padre Pio also referred to the Rosary as the WEAPON.
The Vatican II church has stooped so low and abandoned all safeguards that it can't fall off the floor.
It’s as low as you can get, except for that nether region called hell.
And yet, one asks where next will the Vatican II Church lower itself? They've already committed a massacre of the Sacrifice of the Holy Mass. Can the Vatican II Church stoop lower than it already has?
Because they've abandoned the holy Rosary as superstitious nonsense and the Holy Sacrifice as not inclusive, thus insisting on saying "for all" instead of "for many" (pro multis), thus nullifying confection of the sacrament of Holy Eucharist, they are left with nothing.
As evidence, let's take a peek into of what they've already done and why we need to start pulling those triggers on our Rosaries.
Under Vatican II, we see the "popes" praying with false religions. They preach to non-Catholics, telling them that their religion is good and praiseworthy. John Paul II prayed with false religions in Assisi and kissed the Koran. Benedict XVI prayed with Jews for the coming of their messiah and prayed with the Moslems in the Blue Mosque facing Mecca. They no longer teach that non-Catholics must convert to be saved. They turned their back on Jesus by relocating the Tabernacle out of the church while placing emphasis on the people by facing them. They replaced the altars with Protestant tables, abolished the kneeling rails. Removed statues of the Blessed Virgin, St Michael and the Saints and eliminated just about everything Sacred to Our Lord Jesus. What Next? How about a statue of Lucifer? Why not? Has he not accomplished what he set out to do via the Vatican II Church?
The removal of images of Saints, especially the greatest of all Saints, the Blessed Virgin Mary, is a true slap in the face to Our Lord Jesus Whom dearly loves His Mother. Removing the Blessed Virgin puts the Vatican II church in the same category as TV Evangelist, Pat Robertson. Heretic Pat, on his 4-26-2011 TV 'show', reduced the Virgin Mary to a Nobody. He claimed that Our Lord did not respond to the request of His Mother at the wedding of Cana for the wine. Rather Robertson somehow concluded the response came from His Heavenly Father. The controversial evangelist said that the Virgin Mary can not intercede with Jesus for our prayers. Oh, really? And the Rosary has no power or influence in Heaven? Tell that to Pope St. Pius V and the brave men of Lepanto. But denial of the role of the Blessed Mother is, of course, standard talk among Protestants. But how is that so much different from the Vatican II church? What is the message to be given to those Protestants when statues and images of Our Lord's Mother are removed? If Christ honored and obeyed His Mother for 33 years, should we do less?
No! So please, please, please...stop bashing my Mother!
My Mother is kind, sweet, loving, and does only nice things for me...and for YOU.
She's Mother Mary, the Mother of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She's not only the mother of Jesus, She's everyone’s mother. When Jesus was dying on the Cross He said: " Woman, behold thy son." Then to the disciple St. John, He said: "Behold thy mother." (John 19: 26-27). Jesus gave His Mother to us to be our Mother, too. To bash her is tantamount to bashing our own biological mothers and, worse yet, it’s bashing the Mother of God. So, why the bashing?
Why the craziness of the sick and repulsive paintings of Mother Mary displayed in the Brooklyn Museum showing Her smeared and splattered with dung? There's nothing to be gained by displaying a false version of Mother Mary, or by the carnal sinful antics of an "artist" who purposely blasphemes God's Spotless Mother in his pervert paintings.
In paintings and sculpture, the bashing of Mother Mary is so prevalent that it's barely noticed -- or at least a second thought given to it's deviousness. Examples of this filth include Mother Mary coming out of a vagina; Archangel Gabriel giving Mother Mary a coat hanger for an abortion. Oh, And if you think perversion has reached a new low, you'll cringe all the more at the following.
In the gay sitcom, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Mother Mary is made out to be a lesbian. The eBay website offered for sale Mother Mary encased in a condom where this "Virgin Mary Immaculate Conception Condom" featuring a picture of Mother Mary holding baby Jesus. The tagline read: "If you conceive, its [sic] a miracle." Some people will sell anything to make a buck. But my question is this: "What can they spend that money on in Hell?" I haven't heard of Niemann-Marcus operating a Department Store down there!
Nothing is off the table when it comes to bashing our Mother. But why bash her? All she wants to do is love you and me. "She is so full of love that no one who asks for her intercession is rejected, no matter how sinful he may be." St. Bernard of Clairvaux and St. Bonaventure, holy Doctors of the Church.
We hear it over and over...Catholics pray to Mary instead of praying to Jesus. No, we don't pray to Mary in place of Jesus - we pray to Mary to intercede for us with her Son Jesus. As Catholics we know that all prayers go to our Heavenly Father.
Mary suffers for us. During her lifetime as well as on Calvary, where she received Her mission to be our Mother of faith, to our present existence as hopeless sinners, our problems and salvation is always her concern, and she continues to intercede for us to lead us to the only Savior, Jesus. It is therefore, through the Blessed Virgin that we are drawn to Jesus. She is there to help us, and she will, but we must ask her with faith and trust in her Son.
Remember this - she is not just Mother Mary. She is our Mother too, and as our Mother she will not desert us. "I will never leave you alone. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God." - Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima.
"A true child of Mary has never been lost" - St. Louis De Montfort.
"If you persevere till death in true devotion to Mary, your salvation is certain" - St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori
So I say to all you Mary bashers, please stop bashing my Mother. Instead, console her and ask her to assist you with your salvation. You can start by employing that weapon and begin firing your Ave's to Heaven by praying the Rosary and wearing the Brown Scapular.
