The headline above says it all "What a Glorious Week!" as we preface the glorious Solemnity of the Ascension of Our Lord into Heaven with Rogation Days and then within the Octave of the Ascension we celebrate the Double of the Glorious Second Class Feast of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary as we recognize two of the Glorious Mysteries this week. Yes, Glorious indeed! John Gregory provides reflections on these two Mysteries below as well as the other three Mysterires.

To enhance this glorious week, we begin the Nine Day Novena to the Holy Ghost on the Friday after the Ascension leading up to Pentecost. It is the oldest approved Novena in the Church

And to add to this, we begin this week of celebration with the feast of the holy Sovereign Pontiff Pope St. Gregory VII, to whom we owe our calendar to this holy monk Hildebrand. There is only a commemoration for Sunday Low Masses since St. Gregory's feast is superseded this year by the Fifth Sunday after Easter. On Rogation Monday we recognize the feast of St. Philip Neri followed by the feast of the holy Doctor of the Church and Holy Historian Church Father St. Bede the Venerable on Rogation Tuesday with the Vigil of the Ascension on Rogation Wednesday as the calendar always calls for.

The vigil also kicks St. Augustine of Canterbury into commemoration mode as well. With the Ascension we realize Christ will soon send His Spirit, the Holy Ghost as Pentecost is a mere ten days away. This solemnity naturally supersedes the feast of the holy Virgin St. Mary Magdalen Pazzi. On Friday with the Mass Within the Octave we observe the traditional feast of the holy martyr of France St. Joan of Arc, but without a commemoration. Then we turn all our attention on the one honored throughout this month, the Mother of God whose coronation as Queen of Heaven and earth we celebrate on Saturday to end the month of the Queen of the May. Appropriately throughout this month we've honored her each day with a different flower for our spiritual bouquet that has been enhanced by praying her devotion to The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We present the full bouquet below on her feast day.

Again, I ask your indulgence in my continuing plea for your charity. As I indicated last week, I ask your prayers and support since we are definitely in the red in endeavoring to somehow pay our just debts on past medical expenses, not to mention my bride Cyndi's funeral costs, where the aggregate is now over $7,000. and climbing because of late charges. I ask your help in remembering Cyndi by donating whatever you can afford to help alleviate the debts she accrued through no fault of her own. I humbly ask you to open your heart to Cyndi's Angels.

Also keep in mind I'm trying to cover all bases while surviving without Cyndi's Social Security check of $515.00 each month that had helped cover the mortgage, escalating lot rent, and car, in addition to other necessary expenses. Did I mention that I take not one cent of salary, nor have I over the past twenty years? Publishing the DailyCatholic has always been a labor of love for the love of Jesus, His Most Immaculate Mother Mary, and for perpetuating the Truths and Traditions of holy Mother Church from Peter through Pope Pius XII before the Great Apostasy eclipsed the True Church. I pledge to fight on in the trenches, minus a part of me - my soulmate - for I am confident God always has this traditional apostolate's back and I hope and pray you will, too. God bless and keep.

On this Fifth Sunday After Easter, the liturgy continues to sing the risen Christ and exhorts us, during the Rogation Days that follow this week, to unite with Holy Mother the Church in prayer. Delivered from sin by the efficacy of His blood (Introit, Alleluia, Communion), we are bound to hearken and practise the perfect law of liberty contained in His Gospel. To this end, let us ask of God, from Whom all good things come (Collect), that by the merits of the Redeemer (Gospel) we may be given the grace to participate in the new life opened up for us by Jesus and freely given by the Heavenly Father. ...More

St. Gregory VII was one of the most famous of the successors of St. Peter. He was born at the foot of the Capitol, near the deaconry of St. Mary in Portico, which he caused to be restored after he had become Pope, reconsecrating the high altar. In his early youth Hildebrand was professed in the Order of St. Benedict In the little monastery of St. Mary on the Aventine, where the Priory of the Knights of Malta now stands. This most holy monk was elected Pope in 1073, and his conflicts with Henry IV, Emperor of Germany, have made his name immortal throughout the whole Christian world. On May 25, 1085, in the twelfth year of his pontificate, Gregory entered into his rest. He died in exile at Salerno, where his body is buried in the Cathedral. ...More

In the Haydock Commentary for the Fifth Sunday after Easter from Father George Leo Haydock found in many Douay-Rheims version of the New Testament and provided here by John Gregory, we see in the Epistle by St. James only the penitent man who heeds God's law and will shall not fear. For God knows a man's heart. One can never hide from God and it's important to realize that as great as the Corporal Works of Mercy might be, they are hollow if the Spiritual Works of Mercy are not applied. To work out one's salvation in fear and trembling, one cannot be passive, but rather active for the good of souls as God so wills and in the Gospel our Lord reaffirms His divinity in His discourse with His apostles in reminding them that He must return to the Father Who sent Him. But He encourages them that they shall know great joy and anything they ask of the Father in Christ's name, it will be granted. Quite a promise that has been fulfilled ever since to all who comply with all He asks. Through Christ our Lord

Traditional Catholic Sermons provides the opportunity to to bring you a sermon of almost thirteen minutes by Fr. Anthony Cekada for the Fifth Sunday after Easter from back in 2009 as he reminds all of the Lesser Litanies during the upcoming Rogation Days. In praising God, Father speaks of the official liturgical prayer of the Church in sharing why and what it is. That would be the prayer every true priest must pray daily and now, through the worldwide web, it is available to laity to pray if they so wish. The prayer is The Divine Office

Also, thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you an eleven minute sermon by Bishop Daniel Dolan for the feast of Pope St. Gregory VII even though this year it is superseded by the Fifth Sunday after Easter. He was the holy monk Hildebrand, who chose the name Gregory after Pope St. Gregory the Great and set out to tackle reforms for the clergy in re-establishing celibacy and rid the Church of simony as well as taking on the biggest obstacle of his time - lay investiture in his battles with Emperor Henry IV, a life long antagonist who finally submitted to Gregory at Canossa, but three years later Henry marched into Rome and Gregory was forced to flee to the Benedictine Monastery in Monte Cassino. Though he restored respect and the dignity of the Papacy, he died in exile at Salerno, never receiving the accolades he deserved until after his death. His Excellency fills us in on today's saint Pope St. Gregory VII

Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and Justice is what today's saint Pope St. Gregory VII had an abundance of from the time he was the holy monk Hildebrand. This virtue is so well reflected in what Blessed Mother imparts to her children for she is the Mirror of Justice and realizes that while God is all merciful, He is also all just and those who assume they can skate into Heaven are in for a big surprise. If we want to reflect the graces available to us we need to remain in the state of grace and protect our souls by praying daily her Holy Rosary and contemplating on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers. For more on the Total Consecration, listen to a sermon by Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI on the holy, devout servant of Mary St. Louis de Montfort, and how we can also be devoted slaves of Our Lady with St. Louis de Montfort and True Devotion

On the twenty-fifth day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the DAFFODIL with the corresponding Virtue being DEVOTION TO MARY. The lovely yellow or white daffodil signals the fullness of Spring just as Our Lady's fulfillment of God's holy Will signaled the fullness of redemption through her Divine Son. Because She is the Living Tabernacle for the Son of God, it is only natural that we show her the very same respect Christ did and shower her with prayers of intercession and with spiritual daffodils in thanksgiving for what was the true "New Springtime" the Passion, Death and Resurrection of the One Who conquered sin and death for us. One way to honor her, beside her holy Rosary, is the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Saint Philip Neri was a holy priest who died in 1591. He exercised the apostolic ministry at Rome for about fifty years, and in the midst of a frivolous and corrupt society became the adviser of Popes, of Cardinals and of some of the most distinguished persons of his time. He is known today as the Patron Saint of Rome. Until recent years his feast was kept in Rome as a holy day of obligation and the Pope himself used to go in state to celebrate Mass at his tomb in St. Mary in Vailicella. He instituted the Congregation of the Priests of the Oratory; he desired to reawaken the religious spirit in Christian society through the frequenting of the holy sacraments and through catechetical instruction. Stern and severe towards himself he was full of gentleness towards others and even humorous ...More

Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today we focus on the blessed Mystery of how the Mother of God after Adam and Eve's sin, was alone the only person God created without Original Sin as the perfect Tabernacle for the Son of God. Thus we honor Mary as Mother inviolate for just for she is inviolate and incorrupt because the Immaculate Mother of God is the spouse of the Sanctifier. All the more reason to pray daily her Holy Rosary and contemplating on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.

On the twenty-sixth day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the PRIMROSE with the corresponding Virtue being LOVE OF LABOR. Interesting that the primrose would represent the love of work for it is the primrose path which represents sensual pleasure and is most often associated with the path to perdition. Conversely it is the narrow and straight path to Heaven which fosters a love of labor out of a sincere love for God and total humility. Perhaps the primrose, not actually a rose, is presented for it typifies the plentitude of multicolor flowers that are produced through tender loving care by the love of labor for it takes time and work to cultivate a garden of primroses. So also it takes time and work to cultivate virtue but the result is more colorful and splendid to the soul and to Our Lord and Our Lady than any flower, no matter how beautiful the primrose bouquets can be, made all the more beautiful with the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Saint Bede, the illustrious ornament of the Anglo-Saxon Church and the first English historian, is universally known as "Venerable Bede." He was declared a Doctor of the Church by Pope Leo XIII. He trained six hundred scholars, who were attached to him by his piety, learning, and sweet disposition. He left beautiful lives of Anglo-Saxon saints, and his commentaries on the Scriptures are still in use by the Church. He died on May 26 in 735. Historians relate of him that he passed no time in idleness and never ceased to study; he always read, always wrote, always thought, and always prayed. ...More

This year the feast of the holy Doctor St. Bede the Venerable falls on Rogation Tuesday. While the first step to sainthood (prior to the CONciLIAR insanity of instant "sainthood") is making one venerable, the title of Saint Bede the Venerable means so much more for he was the illustrious ornament of the Anglo-Saxon Church and its very first historian. Considered the Father of English History, he was the first to date events as in the "Year of Our Lord" - Anno Domini (A.D.) and would be appalled today to hear that the Modernist secularists want to make it A.C.E. (After the Common Era)in doing away with any reference to Christ whatsoever, all part of the anti-Catholic agenda to de-Christianize America thoroughly. That is the Masonic creed which Bede would never have stood for. St. Bede was officially named a Doctor of the Church by Pope Leo XIII. Considered a Father of the Church, he was the Benedictines' jewel and is often called The Holy Historian

Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today, on this feast of St. Bede the Venerable and Silver Jubilee of two dedicated priests as we prepare for the upcoming feast of Corpus Christi, we honor Mary as most admirable. It is an admirable habit to pray daily her Holy Rosary and contemplating on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.

On the twenty-seventh day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the VERBENA with the corresponding Virtue of PRUDENCE. Bouquets of peachy-pink verbena, often grown in tropical and sub-tropical areas, are often mixed with the sacred boughs of laurel, olive or myrtle plants which are prized and intended to be cultivated just as the soul strives to manage itself by upholding all moral propriety and modesty, presenting itself before God as a victor over sin. How appropriate that it falls on the feast of St. Bede the Venerable for the holy monk was most prudent in documenting the history of the Church in England and establishing Christ in the annals of history with Anno Domini. With only a few days left in Mary's month of May, let us not neglect the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary

This station at the Vatican Basilica on the last day of the Rogations was instituted out of veneration for the tomb of the Apostle, and in order to assimilate as far as possible the lesser litanies to the greater ones of April 25 which ended at the Basilica of St. Peter. The Litany of the Saints is a jewel of ancient prayer; in its present form it dates from the Tenth Century. The names of the saints are the glory of the Church; the thought of them fills us ...More

St. Augustine was a Roman monk, and was sent by Pope Saint Gregory the Great with forty companions to England in order to convert that land to the Faith. The result far surpassed the expectations of the Pope, for God set his seal on the preaching of St. Augustine by so great a number of miracles that the age of the apostles seemed to have come again. Ethelbert, the King of Kent, together with the chief persons of his court, was the first to receive Baptism from ...More on St. Augustine of Canterbury

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you an eleven-minute sermon by Bishop Daniel Dolan for the feast of the holy Bishop St. Augustine of Canterbury who followed Our Lord's charge to go and preach the gospel to the whole world. Augustine was sent by Pope St. Gregory the Great to England in fulfillment of his promise to Anglo slave children that he would turn them into angels. Sure enough Augustine with forty monks headed for the British Isles even though they were dissuaded by the French bishops. Though Augustine had doubts, he was determined after St. Gregory re-encouraged him. Sure enough, in obedience, Augustine went forward and through the grace of God and divine Providence the king converted and soon after Christianity spread throughout the land thanks to this holy bishop known as the "Apostle of England" as His Excellency relates in his sermon on being obedient with the example of St. Augustine of Canterbury

Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today is the feast of St. Augustine of Canterbury, who was commissioned by St. Gregory the Great, to evangelize the true Faith to England and, as an obedient confessor, he carried through his mission out of holy obedience with great courage. Thus, it is appropriate on his feast that we honor Mary with the title of Queen of Confessors for what sustained these holy men was devotion to her, and since the time of St. Dominic, trusting in the Holy Rosary and contemplating on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.

On the twenty-eighth day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the HONEYSUCKLE with the corresponding Virtue of CONFIDENCE IN GOD. The honeysuckle, a member of the columbine family is a sweet plant of long spurred flowers that resemble almost a trumpet like shape, trumpeting the Confidence in God. From the amazing floral display thus far in May, we can see the beauty He has created and this should spur on confidence in Him alone. Nothing, however is more beautiful to His beautiful Blessed Mother than a pure soul arrayed in grace. With only a few days left in Mary's month of May, let us not neglect the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Station at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Forty days after the Resurrection, Our Lord Jesus Christ, attended by Angels, ascended into Heaven, in the sight of His most holy Mother Mary, His Apostles, and disciples, to the great wonder of them all. He entered into possession of the Kingdom of Heaven which He had gained by His sufferings, and St. Paul declares that God "hath made us sit together in the heavenly places, through Christ Jesus." "There where the Head has gone, the Body is called to follow!" The liturgical festival of the Ascension, whilst less ancient than that of Pentecost, is one of the oldest of the cycle, was already so universally observed that St. Augustine was able to attribute its institution to the Apostles themselves. At Rome, the Pope, after the night Office was concluded, and after Mass had been celebrated at the altar of St. Peter, was crowned by the cardinals, and towards the sixth hour was accompanied by bishops and clergy to the Lateran. On this day Jesus was taken up into Heaven; His faithful disciples continued to gaze heavenward. The contemplative vision of Paradise is reserved, however, for those who have already passed into the Church Triumphant. The supreme glorification of the Head who is this day enthroned at the right hand of the Father in Heaven affects the members also, like the precious balsam which, as the psalmist tells us, descended from the head of Aaron on to his flowing beard and on to his gorgeous pontifical vestments. This spiritual unction is the gift of the Holy Ghost, which Christ obtains ...More

Because today is a Holy Day of Obligation, the feast of St. Mary Magdalen dei Pazzi is commemorated only at Low Masses. She was born in 1566. The charity that burned in her heart led her to enter a Carmelite convent at the age of eighteen. Among the special gifts for which St. Mary Magdalen is celebrated, is the sweet perfume which to this day is given out by the pure and incorrupt remains of this holy virgin. Many of the revelations granted to this saint are also famous, such as one concerning the immense glory attained by ...More

Forty days after rising from the dead, the Son of God returns to the Father as He said He would, but He has promised His Spirit would be with His disciples until the consummation of the world. That assurance we have in ten days when we celebrate the birthday of His Holy Church on Pentecost. Today we celebrate His glorious Ascension into Heaven where He remains until He returns as He promised. When that will be no one knows, but He has given us the signs that the time is near from His discourse in the Gospel of St. Matthew and indeed much of what He foretold has come to pass including the "abomination of desolation" which we can clearly see is the abominable Novus Ordo 'missae', which is also in lockstep with the New World Order (novus ordo seclorum) that will adopt satan as their leader once all are under his control. No wonder Jesus said aloud His curiosity of whether there will be any faith left when the Son of man returns in St. Luke 18: 8. Food for thought as we celebrate this Holy Day of Obligation where, following the Gospel, the Paschal candle is extinguished and then removed. We encourage you to read Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey's inspiring piece for this Solemnity with Baptize All Men, Teach All Nations

In the Haydock Commentary for the Solemnity of the Ascension the Epistle and Gospel comprise the first words of the Acts of the Apostles and the last words of St. Mark all treated with the cogent comprehensive Haydock Catholic Commentary provided by John Gregory. The Lord has completed His work on earth. He has entrusted to His hand-chosen band of disciples, hardly saints at the time of His Ascension, His Spirit - the Holy Ghost. Within days they will be transformed and given the grace, gifts and fruits to carry out His command in St. Mark to preach the gospel to every creature and to assure them that if they believe and are baptized they will be saved. He leaves the dire warning so ignored today, that if they do not they will be condemned. Stronger words Christ did not speak. The sad fact is that so few have heeded His failsafe words. Failsafe Words

Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph's Minor Seminary in Rathdrum, Idaho at the City of Mary presents a short six and a half minute sermon recorded three years ago and made available through Traditional Catholic Sermons for the First Class Solemnity of the Ascension of Our Lord. Father talks of how so many don't realize how foolish they are who do focus on preparing for eternity. We should concentrate not on this life as much as the next. Eschew the honors and praise of the world, and seek a greater reward in Heaven for we are what we are in the eyes of God, not man. Father explains in his sermon on The Ascension .

John Gregory provides inspiration for the Solemnity of the Ascension of Our Lord into Heaven in a meditation of the Second Glorious Mystery. The Son of God has gone to prepare a place for us, and thus the effects of the Ascension remain an on-going mystery for Christ continues to prepare for us at the Father's right hand and in that wondrous news is extended the greatest hope to all for where Christ has gone He waits for us to follow in a place of everlasting happiness for those who are obedient to His teachings and cooperate with the divine Will. Just as Jesus left instructions for His Apostles, He has left us inerrant instructions that, if we follow fully, will assure us of being with Him forever. John provides reflections on The Second Glorious Mystery: The Ascension

Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today on the Solemnity of the Ascension, Jesus returns to Heaven to prepare for the Coronation of His holy Mother Mary as Queen of Virgins. It just so happens that it also falls on the feast of the holy virgin who so loved the Holy Eucharist, St. Maria Magdalen de Pazzi. Thus, we honor Mary with the title of Queen of Virgins for to remain pure it was important for young women to remain in the state of Sanctifying Grace and sustain their chastity by praying daily the Holy Rosary and contemplating on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.

On the twenty-ninth day of May the flower presented to Our Lady is the ASTER with the corresponding Virtue being GOODNESS. The Aster is named for the Greek aster which means star and the blooming herbs of the Aster with the showy daisy-like flowers blooms in the Fall, shining amongst the changing foliage which is losing its leaves. Appropriately Goodness shines through when others lose their luster. Goodness is what the Blessed Mother cherishes so much in her Divine Son's children for Goodness is the foundation of a sincere heart and a pure soul. There are but two days left this month to pray the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a nine-minute sermon by Bishop Daniel Dolan for the feast of the holy virgin St. Mary Magdalen de Pazzi. She was a Carmelite nun in the 16th century who was given the mystical powers of ecstasy and the ability to sense the odor of sanctifying grace in others. Despite obstacles from her parents, she entered the convent and asked to suffer in body, mind and soul for Our Lord, so much she loved Christ and her neighbor. Her joy and cheerfulness touched so many souls and she relishes spiritual communions when she couldn't receive the actual communion. As a reward for her faithfulness, Our Lord appeared holding a silver ciborium and a gold one, the former representing her spiritual communions and the gold one those she had received at Holy Mass. His Excellency encourages us to make spiritual communions often when we can't get to Mass and learn from the example of St. Mary Magdalen de Pazzi

Within the Octave Day of the Ascension. Paul declares that God "hath made us sit together in the heavenly places, through Christ Jesus." "There where the Head has gone, the Body is called to follow!" The liturgical festival of the Ascension, whilst less ancient than that of Pentecost, is one of the oldest of the cycle, ...More

Today we begin the oldest novena of the Church, the Novena to the Holy Ghost and if ever we needed the Advocate's help it is now in 2012 when souls and hearts have hardened and grown lukewarm in their comfort zones, which surely can't be pleasing to the Sanctifier. In the face of this ennui to the spiritual crisis that has caused so much destruction to body and soul since the death of the last true Pope on October 9, 1958, we ask when will we wake up from this free fall and grab the parachute God offers? If only we would reach out and make the effort to save not only our own souls but those of our fellow man, we'd see a tremendous change in attitude and conversions. It is what Christ commands us to do and that command begins with the only ones who have the jurisdiction and authority to provide the true sacraments to souls - the traditional bishops who hold the key to returning sanity and sanctity. Let us pray the Holy Ghost will touch them and move them to set aside their petty differences and be the apostles we need them to be, that God needs them to be. Let us dedicate this nine day Novena to our true shepherds with the First Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost

Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today on the day after the Ascension and the day before her feast of the Coronation, we look to her, the living tabernacle of Our Lord for she is the one we turn to in order to gain a greater love for her Divine Son present Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Holy Eucharist. For true Catholics assisting at Holy Mass and worthily receiving Holy Communion is the greatest grace we can receive, followed by prayer, chief among the prayers is Mary's Holy Rosary while we also contemplate on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.

On the thirtieth day of May the flower presented to Our Lady is the beautiful CAMELLIA with the corresponding Virtue being PERSEVERANCE. This magnificent flower, which is a greenhouse shrub, is relatively a new find from the tea plant. In fact, its Latin name was derived after the one who discovered it and who practiced perseverance: the Jesuit missionary Father Georg Josef Kamel, a missionary priest in Moravia. Perseverance also applies to the fact that there is but one more day left in this Month of May to honor Christ by showering His Blessed Mother with bouquets of flowers and virtues and by praying her Rosary and the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary

This feast was established in the Traditional Calendar by Pope Pius XII for May 31st to cap off Mary's Month of May. This year, because May 31 fell during Pentecost week, it has been transferred to June 4. In AAS 38, Pius XII declared: "Mary is queen by grace, by divine relationship, by right of conquest and by singular election." He also proclaimed in Ineffabilis Deus that her queenship should be venerated "as something extraordinary, wondrous, Gaudeamus

Those who have made their 33-Day Preparation for today's feast of the Queeenship of Mary are now prepared to make their Total Consecration. Those who have already made their Total Consecration in the past can renew their Consecration today as well. We have included the Consecration here so that you have it readily available to take with you to Holy Mass, or, if that is impossible, renew it at home before an altar shrine or statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, keeping in mind your promises of carrying out all that is asked of you as a slave of Mary according to the Method of the holy St. Louis Marie de Montfort. Click here for the Total Consecration to Jesus Through Mary

John Gregory provides a contemplative, meditative treatise on the Fifth Glorious Mystery on her glorious feast. What greater glory can there be for a lifetime of devotion and uncompromising fiat to the divine will than to be recognized for all time what the Blessed Mother accomplished in being crowned by her divine Son and heavenly Father with the assistance of the Holy Ghost, her divine Spouse. It is a lesson for us that indeed there is a light at the end of this worldly tunnel, a light from the Beatific Vision attainable only by adhering willingly and lovingly to the will of Almighty God for she is the Woman of the Apocalypse, with a crown of twelve stars. John shares his thoughts on The Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven and earth

Fear of the Lord seems to be forgotten in so many today who go about their lives without fearing what the Lord will do because of their hardened hearts and devil-may-care attitude that they can do whatever they want. Oh, will they be surprised. Let us pray it will not be too late when they realize the devil doesn't care because he already has them in his grip, but God does and if they do not develop a Holy Fear they will when they stand before their Judge and hear their sentence. Talk about fear! That is why to be truly Catholic one must fear the Lord not for the punishments He may dole to those who do not follow His divine will, but for fear of offending Him. That is where love comes into play for if we truly love God, we will care how He feels and do everything we can to alleviate the wrath of the Almighty Whose cup by now is running over with the offenses against Him and His Natural Laws. Let us pray the Holy Ghost will soften the hardened hearts, warm the cold dones, and bring them to the realization of how having a Holy Fear is a true gift of the Holy Ghost as we pray the Second Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost

On the very last day of May we offer Our Lady both the ANEMONE flower which represents the beautiful virtue of UNION WITH JESUS and the full bouquet from the full month. The Anemone is a woodplant whose beautiful flower is renowned. Also well known is the fact Our Lady constantly encourages us to come to her Divine Son and be united with Him through her. That is because He loves His Mother and His children so and is so pleased when we honor her as He honored her during His life on earth and after in Heaven where He, along with the Father and Holy Ghost crowned Mary as Queen of Heaven and earth. That is why today is so special for we take the entire bouquet offered throughout the month and offer them all to our Blessed Heavenly Queen with a bonanza of bouquets of flowers and the corresponding virtues that we have pledged to Our Lady to practice in our prayers and devotion of Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

To print and clip out the graphics above of the bouquet of flowers surrounding Our Lady go to HOLY CARDS

Throughout Mary's month of May we offered a different flower and virtue each day to Mary, Queen of the May, capped by our daily Rosaries. You are strongly encouraged to continue each and every day to do as our heavenly Mother asked at Fatima and that is to make reparation, to love her divine Son and to keep the Faith. How do we do that? By praying throughout the year the Holy Rosary and contemplating on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and praying The Fatima Prayers.

As much as we hate to beg, we have no choice. If you have benefited in anyway from what we have published, we humbly ask your help to keep this publication on line. We know that so many of our readers are unable to assist at a true traditional Latin Mass because of where they live and use the daily liturgy we publish to gain the efficacious graces possible through their prayers at home. We remain the only publication in the world to provide such and are grateful to God that we can provide such nourishment for souls. If you have not donated before, isn't it only right and proper to donate now? Whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated. Just click the button below or send a check/money order to the address below. We are a bonafide non-profit 501c(3) religious association and all donations are tax-deductible. Whatever you would have contributed toward any bloated political campaigns or thrown away in the conciliar collection plates that only goes to covering up the sins of its presbyters and false primates while destroying all semblence of Catholicism, why not earmark it for SANCTUS/DailyCatholic? After all, shouldn't we all take St. Paul's strong counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 to heart and "stand firm, and hold the traditions which you have learned"?

or you can send your tax-deductible contribution (check, cash or M.0.) by mail to:

To fortify why the CONciLIAR church is the false church, see key Papal Decrees that preceded it in pre-Vatican Two times by true Popes who solidly condemned the V2 false 'popes' who have spit in Heaven's Face. God will not be mocked. See for yourself what the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church has decreed:

  • Papal Coronation Oath Pope Agatho
  • Unam Sanctam Pope Boniface VIII
  • Cum Ex Apostolatus Officio Pope Paul IV
  • Quo Primum Pope St. Pius V
  • De Defectibus Pope St. Pius V
  • Satis Cognitum Pope Leo XIII
  • Apostolicae Curae Pope Leo XIII

We encourage you to learn more about the Traditional Latin Mass - the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in these videos at this link because each time you worthily assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in person, you gain graces that are placed in a "golden chalice", so to speak, and is offered to God to be weighed in substance when you stand before Him at your Particular Judgment. The more you have filled this chalice, the better will it go for your spiritual welfare in eternity, enhanced by your cooperation with grace. Know the Mass

To assist all in striving toward holiness, click on the Confessional to your right to review your transgressions through a thorough Examination of Conscience

When One Cannot physically assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

    Regina Coeli

    Queen of Heaven, rejoice, Alleluia.
For He Whom thou was made worthy to bear. Alleluia.
Hath risen as He said. Alleluia.
Pray for us to our God. Alleluia.
    V. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary. Alleluia.
    R. For the Lord hath risen indeed. Alleluia.

    Let us pray.
O God, Who through the resurrection of Thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, hast vouchsafed to make glad the whole world, grant us, we beseech Thee, that, through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, His Mother, we may attain the joys of eternal life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

    Regina Coeli laetare. Alleluia.
    Quia quem meruisti portare. Alleluia.
    Resurrexit sicut dixit. Alleluia.
    Ora pro nobis Deum. Alleluia.
    V. Gaude et laetare, virgo Maria. Alleluia.
    R. Quia surrexit Dominus vere. Alleluia.

    Oremus.
Amen.

    The Fatima Prayers

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.

    Prayer Before the Crucifix

Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst fix deep within my heart lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment, whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes the words which David in prophesy spoke concerning Thee, O Good Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."

    Plenary Indulgence, Condition:

    • Communion

    Anima Christi Prayer
Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, inebriate me. Water from the side of Christ, wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me. O good Jesus, hear me. Within Thy wounds, hide me. Suffer me to be never separated from Thee. From the malicious enemy, defend me. At the hour of my death, call me and bid me come unto Thee, That with thy saints I may praise Thee forever and ever. Amen.

Anima Christi, sanctifica me. Corpus Christi, salva me. Sanguis Christi, inebria me. Aqua lateris Christi, lava me. Passio Christi, conforta me. O bone Iesu, exaudi me. Intra tua vulnera absconde me. Ne permittas me separari a Te. Ab hoste maligno defende me. In hora mortis meae voca me. Et iube me venire ad Te, ut cum Sanctis Tuis laudem Te in saecula saeculorum. Amen.
