The chief articles of the Apostles' Creed did not have the same sense for the Christians of the first ages as they have for the Christians of our time.
Oh, this is a the craftiness of the Modernists at their boldest. St. Pius knew this and sought to expose this error for it is another way the Modernists undermine the Faith by using the old, "it's different today" excuse. Hegelians are especially astute at proposing new theses with anithesis to create yet more syntheses that go on ad nauseum and stretch farther and farther away from truth. The most astute of these Hegelians is one Fr. Joseph Ratzinger who has been schooled in the very same dangerous philosophy that so enthralled Karl Marx. And yet, when you consider damage to souls Ratzinger would seem much more dangerous than Marx if you can believe that for Ratzinger has infected with drops of poison the sacred faith as Pope Leo XIII stated the grave, mortal danger of such in his encyclical Satis Cognitum. By such poisoning as Leo warned of, Ratzinger has been part of the destruction of the Roman Catholic Church in cooperating with all that has occurred at and since Vatican II, a Council that wanted to cater to "Christians of our time" by abandoning the disciplines and uncompromising tenets that always stood as a contradiction to the world. Would you call the counterfeit church of conciliarism today, you know, the one posing as the Catholic Church, as a contradiction to the world? Hardly! That should tell you all you need to know to run as fast as you can away from the Novus Ordo establishment that is destined to wither and die. You don't want to be around that rotting corpse when that happens.
