It may be said without paradox that there is no chapter of Scripture, from the first of Genesis to the last of the Apocalypse, which contains a doctrine absolutely identical with that which the Church teaches on the same matter. For the same reason, therefore, no chapter of Scripture has the same sense for the critic and the theologian.
Oh really!?! "Without paradox," huh? And who exactly chimes in with such certainty as "it may be said"? It reminds us of someone remarking, "They said it's a good book." The first requisite is to identify who "they" are. Most of the time "they" are the spin-doctors getting paid to hype it. The same here, and His Holiness Pope Saint Pius X was quick to identify the culprits who would dare say that the Catholic Doctrine is not in harmony with Sacred Scripture. It is in total union with the Scriptures in every chapter and if they want to use such words as "absolutely" than apply that to the Catholic Doctrine and it is "absolutely in accord" with all Christ directed and permitted. However, the Modernist falsely denies this and then makes the misstep of trying to force a square object into a round hole with a psuedo syllogism that doesn't fit when they say "no chapter of Scripture has the same sense for the critic and the theologian." This opens Pandora's Box for any "critic" or "theologian" to interpret Scripture anyway they want which has consequently given rise to over 33,000 Protestant sects and enabled the Modernists to have a field day not only outside the Church, but squirming and slithering within the sacred structures of the hierarchy to accommodate man with lipservice platitudes to God, but to be done the way man deems, not Christ and the Church He established to uphold the constituted evangelic traditions and perpetuate the true Faith.
