 It is impossible that Matrimony could have become a Sacrament of the new law until later in the Church since it was necessary that a full theological explication of the doctrine of grace and the Sacraments should first take place before Matrimony should be held as a Sacrament.
Guess the Wedding Feast of Cana doesn't count when our Lord worked His first miracle at the request of His Blessed Mother Mary where He thus manifested the holiness of matrimony. Guess His words in St. Matthew 19: 4-6 and St. Mark 10: 6-9, "But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause, shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they shall be in one flesh. Therefore they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder" don't count. But then why should they when the Modernist's agenda is to undermine the Scriptures, to introduce innovations and novelties that erode the foundations of the Faith? Were the Sacrament of Matrimony still strong in the Church, had couples and the medical profession been true to what previous wise Pontiffs had decreed, contraception, abortion and widespread divorce would never have seen the light of day. But it is the very Modernists who sought to sabotage this sacrament by introducing exceptions and innovations to cope with the modern world, caving to satan's lures of the world, the flesh and the devil through the marriage of Modernism and Masonry. The counterfeit church of conciliarism, from the very beginning of its split from the Roman Catholic Church, was more than happy to comply, compromise and corrupt. In so doing, it purposely relaxed the indissoluble character of the sacrament. As His Excellency Bishop LeRavoire Morrow states in his masterful catechetical work My Catholic Faith: "The preservation of the sacred character of marriage is vital to society; give in to divorce, and destruction of all social life will come. Divorce is a breach in thewall of civilization, a destructive force in morality. Today two out of five marriages in our country end in divorce. Beginning with causes of adultery, now in many places divorce can be obtained on almost any grounds; it has become only an excuse to change partners. Is that Matrimony?" No, your Excellency, as you rightly deduct it is not and cannot be and, yet sadly, it has multiplied a hundred-fold or worse since you wrote that. Did you see the Bishop's words "give in to divorce, and destruction of all social life will come." All we need to do is look at the state of things today to realize that. That is the very reason the Modernists attack Marriage for in doing so they also attack Christ and His Church. As Saint Paul points out in Ephesians 5: 32 that Jesus is the Head of His Church just as a husband is the head of his wife. The wife and members of His Church must be obedient to our Lord and His Church, His spotless Bride. Just as Christ will never fail His Church and the Church will always be faithful to Him, so also a man and wife must always be faithful to each other. No exceptions. That black and white assessment never plays well with Modernists or disciples of Georg Hegel such as Karl Marx and Joseph Ratzinger. You want to know why there was a sexual revolution in the sixties? Look to what the counterfeit church of conciliarism relaxed and posed as the official authority to do so even though they had usurped the true authority of the true Church. All our ills in society today can be traced back to the beginning of time, true, but the ills that befall America and Europe today, as well as Latin America and Africa and much of Asia, and yes, even Australia, can be laid at the foot of Vatican II. No power on earth can break a Christian marriage? None. The reason for this is that the indissolubility of marriage is not a law ordained by the Church, but by God Himself. As Bishop Morrow wrote, "The Church cannot and will not tamper with the laws of God. That is true. And therefore, proof that since the counterfeit church of conciliarism has tampered with the laws that it cannot be the true Roman Catholic Church. In fact, it is following what Protestant Reformers did from Henry VIII to Philip II of Hesse to even Napoleon trying to barter for a divorce for his brother. The true popes stood firm. As Pope Clement VII said to the Tudor king who had been declared a "Defender of the Faith" just a few years prior, "If I had two souls I would gladly grant your wish, Sire. But since I have but one soul, I must be obedient to God's Laws rather than yours for I treasure the state of my soul and salvation, as should you. Neither you nor I have the authority to set aside the divine law." But the Modernist mind cares little for divine law, cares little for the Scriptures and Sacraments. They can't attack directly and so they work around these "obstacles", chipping away at the foundations with non-supported suppositions posed as facts that further confuse those who do not know their Faith and who are not rooted in prayer. Ah, prayer. Prayer and Grace are the best way to fend off Modernists and return holy Mother Church to her rightful place as the One true, apostolic and universal Church. Our fondest wish and prayer: "Begone, satan and take your damned counterfeit church of conciliarism with you, but leave the souls so they can repent and make reparation for their apostasy."
