The dogmas of the Faith are to be held only according to their practical sense; that is to say, as preceptive norms of conduct and not as norms of believing.
Modernists love to delete and dismiss dogmatic teaching and reduce them to "their practical sense." Isn't this the very thing that happened at Vatican II where modern pastoral tenets all of a sudden trumped the dogmas of Trent. His Holiness Pope Saint Pius X was on top of this one for he could see the agenda on the horizon. It was nothing new that was introduced at Vatican II, at least to the architects, for they had long been fashioning the ambiguities and time bombs they could slip in along with a Mickey to dumb down a careless clergy and comfortable laity who, thanks to the growth of the Church in America in the 40's and 50's, never gave it a thought that the Church could be so infiltrated by the fifth columnists. They were already in place but they needed their marching orders to initiate and install in the mindset the implementation of accepting the evolution of dogma, thus the error St. Pius warned of would become a fait accomplis for the dogmas would be placed in minimized practical category while the norms of human thought would trump divine revelation and one would be free to believe and tolerate whatever they were told to believe and tolerate. Those who did not were summarily isolated and told not to believe nor to tolerate. Ah, tolerance, ain't it wonderful? NOT!
