Divine inspiration does not extend to all of Sacred Scriptures so that it renders its parts, each and every one, free from every error.   This is another necessary diversion Modernists employ to break down the scriptures and keep what works for them and dismiss any others as "not from God" so they can forge ahead with their will rather than submitting to the will of God. Many a soul has fallen for this for pride goeth before the fall. The truth is that every word of Sacred Scripture is divinely inspired and all the books codified into the Bible and translated by St. Jerome are universally accepted by God as Christ approved in St. Matthew 16: 19.
