We're all sinners. The Blessed Mother - Gate of Heaven - alone was free from sin. Her Divine Son did not come to call the just, but to call the sinner (cf. Matthew 9: 12). We can take consolation that God is always there for us, for His Love is Infinite. His Mercy is without limit. This is revealed through Divine Revelation.
God is calling. As we have been detailin in this extensive series, He has sent His Own Mother to beckon us over and over again to convert our hearts. Why our hearts? Because that's where God speaks to us; not in our overcrowded, confused, short-circuited brains which cannot fathom God. Rather He talks to our hearts because the heart works on a different "wave length", providing a direct two-way line if only we can stymie all the static and interference. Father Stephen Valenta, OFM Conv. shows us how every Monday in the Daily CATHOLIC.
Through Private Revelation we are warned that we have come to the end times of an era prophesied in Public Revelation. During these trying times leading up to the cleansing that will usher in the Reign of the Sacred Heart through the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart, we are called to be a holy people, a faith-filled people working toward true sanctity by being a community of praying, Eucharistic people. It is a call to do as God asked through Saint John Bosco in the vision and message he received pertaining to our very time in which he was told, "There will be chaos in the Church. Tranquility will not return until the Pope succeeds in anchoring the Boat of Peter between the twin pillars of Eucharistic Devotion and Devotion to Our Lady. This will come about one year before the end of the century." If we are to truly reap the rewards promised by God, we must answer His call before we can expect Him to answer our call to Him. Oh, He will answer, but will the answer be what our hearts want, or what our minds think? The answer and results are up to us. If we follow our hearts and give in fully to God's Will, then we can be assured that the answer we receive from the Almighty One will be the one we want. Next week we will continue with this thought pattern on Listening, Learning and Living what God is telling us here in the present...for it truly is a "present."
