That being said, we turn to other anticipations which shows the shallowness of the world when it enters into and gives way to temptation, rejoicing at a sows ear while the pearl is put aside as useless. It all follows in the pattern of the prince of darkness. There is a prayer that has been circulated on the net which calls America to repentance and righteousness. The sadness of this is that all America cannot partake in the great banquet prepared by the Lord: the Holy Eucharist.
The prayer points out how we confess that, "We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it pluralism." This is evident in the courts today. Men swear by God, but are in reality vowing allegiance to His devious adversary. A name by any other name is doublespeak.
"We have worshipped other gods and called it multiculturalism." Look at the rise in wicca, new age and eastern mysticism, not to mention commercialism, and the idolotry of movie, rock and sports stars today.
"We have endorsed perversion and called it an alternative lifestyle." Homosexuality by any name is immoral, perverted and wrong in the eyes of God. If it is wrong in His eyes, it must be wrong in ours and needs to be addressed as such regardless of the fear of being called a homophobe. After all those are really only names and, as the old childhood axiom goes, "sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me." That really is just the oppositie because of the fragile human psyche where names can cut deep to the quick and cause resentment that goes even deeper. This, as we've seen through the centuries, plants the seeds of war, wars that rage today in the Balkans and in our own living rooms.
"We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery." Gambling is a disease and too often we gamble not only material things but souls as well without realizing the consequences that can be so final.
"We have neglected the needy and called it self-preservation." This especially pertains to Americans who have grown immune to the hurts and sorrows of the rest of the world. Not since the great Civil War of the mid nineteenth century has blood been spilled on our soil. The same cannot be said for the rest of this globe, especially in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America where bloodshed has taken the toll of millions of martyrs. Our role is to reach out and give from our hearts and excesses. If we want God to be merciful to us, we need to extend mercy and love to others.
"We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare." Through our "democratic" political system we have basically created a monster. Legislation has locked out initiative, rewarding mediocrity in our public school system and in the fields of wheat, corn, soy and other commodities government subsidies entice hard-working farmers to slack off.
"We have killed our unborn children and called it choice." Over the last three decades our country and leaders, specifically the current president, referred in some circles as the Arkansas fuhrer Das Klinton, have slaughtered more innocent souls than all the wars combined over the past two-thousand years. The curious question must be what "choice" will they have when they come face to face with their Maker? The answer will be that because of the gift of Free Will they had a choice to make and, to quote the crusader from the movie "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade", "they chose poorly."
"We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable." The old laws of an eye for an eye, a tooth for tooth no longer apply as Our Lord emphasized and as His Vicar of Christ reminds us constantly today, calling for an end to capital punishment and killing of any kind. Only God can give and take life. Only God can judge the state of one's soul. When man takes on these responsibilities he becomes a vigilante for the prince of darkness.
"We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem." This is truly one of satan's greatest conquests. He has spawned the Freudian fallacies that have sprouted in the law books, in the courts, in the schools and tainted our homes, sticking to everything like cotton candy caked to our consciences. They have forsaken personal responsibility and forgotten that the most endearing and mindful pat on the back that lasts forever is the one below the belt. It's called discipline and tough love that makes us all stronger soldiers of Christ. This has even permeated the parish level where solid Catholic catechism and the basic tenets of the Church are replaced by platitudes that promote passivity and a live-and-let-live don't-get-involved mentality, thereby condoning sin and mediocrity.
"We have abused power and called it political savvy." Never has this been so evident as in recent years in the White House and Congress where power has been abused, values and morals compromised and ideals shelved for the selfishness of man at the expense of a country. Men are sacrificed in a senseless war for the sake of polls. Wag the Dog proves we're running in circles chasing the tall tales in a fulfillment of reality imitating art...if you want to call it "art."
"We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition." Everywhere people are suing, not for the sake of justice but mostly in the name of greed, gutting another's life possessions, unfairly usurping others' rights and qualities of life while hiding behind loopholes and laws that favor impropriety.
"We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression." We hear so much about pollution these days but the real pollution is of the soul with the language and abuse of God's temples of the Holy Spirit. Sexual improprieties are condoned and promoted in the media and on the airwaves and even in our schools. Condoms are passed out like candy and rather than being sweet they have turned hearts and souls sour, only contributing to the culture of death.
"We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment." This is the same thing the Protestant Reformation did, ridiculing the time-honored values of Holy Mother Church and called it enlightenment. Because of this all sense of respect for the high offices these men and women are elected to has lost credibility. What was once sacred is now stained beyond measure.
In summary, the prayer points out that "we have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values." But there is an antidote to this, it is called the Holy Eucharist for that alone will sustain us during these times we live and the times Holy Scripture speaks of. Our Lord and Our Lady have said as much. The Triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart, promised at Fatima, will usher in the glorious Reign of the Sacred Heart, also known as the Era of the Eucharistic Presence, the New Pentecost or the Second Advent. In these days when only the faithful remnant - Mary's little army which is sadly dwindling as the years pass - anticipate these wondrous events that will be prefaced by the Warning and the Miracle foretold at Garabandal and confirmed by Blessed Padre Pio himself, the rest of the world - at least the western world - is foolishly anticipating the release of the first prequel to "Star Wars" tomorrow. The latter has also been referred to as a trilogy, but the real Trilogy is the Trinity and evidence of this Triune Divinity is not in outer space, not manifested through light sabers or special effects but in the solitude of the Blessed Sacrament and the creed of the Roman Catholic Church when we prepare to receive Him after saying, "Lord, I am not worthy to receive You. But only say the word and my soul will be healed." Note the Latin is et sanabitur anima mea which means "and my soul will be healed" yet we mistakenly say "and I will be healed." The reference to "roof" comes from the passage in Matthew 8: 8 regarding the Centurion's servant and refers to our bodily shelters - our temples of the Holy Spirit. If our bodies are not clean because our souls inside are not clean then we are truly not worthy to receive Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. We must prepare our abodes through a thorough cleansing via the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Bud MacFarlane, Jr., author of "Pierced by a Sword", "Conceived without Sin" and his newest novel due next month "House of Gold" as well as executive director of CatholiCity, imparts the following words of wisdom comparing the Holy Eucharist to the hoopla over The Phantom Menace, "For all its amazing technological pizazz and psuedo-religious underpinnings, there won't be one concept or image presented that comes anywhere near as close to the sheer mystery, the mind-bendingly and spectacularly wild fact that the Holy Trinity, the Alpha and Omega, dwells in perfect silence under the cloak of a wafer of bread. No mere man, however much he might be created in God's image, could have made up the Eucharist for a movie or a novel. No other world religion can boast of a concept so creative, so un-human, so wonderful as the One Who Dwells in the House of Gold in your local Catholic church. And you can quote me." And so we have, Bud, for your words wax poetic and prophetic. George Lucas has his "Yodas" and "Obi Wan Kenobis" but we have the Sanctifier, the Holy Spirit and the great event - the birthday of the Church occurs this coming Sunday on Pentecost: an event truly worth anticipating. Our faith is the most precious gift we could receive outside of life itself and the Lifeline of our faith, of our lives is the Holy Eucharist. During all the hype this week and next, remember that Star Wars is temporary, a fad that will fade. The Holy Trinity always has been, is, and will always be and, as we wrote yesterday, the Triune Divinity renders the Eucharist essential in the scope of God's master plan for salvation through the Epiklesis before the Consecration in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in which the Holy Spirit is beseeched and dispatched by the Father to bless the bread and wine that will confect it into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, Soul and Divinity. Receiving Him in the Holy Eucharist is all we need. He is our everything and we are nourished daily by reception of this most precious of precious commodities available to us as practicing Catholics in the state of sanctifying grace. It's enough to move loyalists to Christ's cause to recruit more for His side, shielded by grace. In conclusion the new battle cry must be, May the Host be with you!
Place yourself through the Holy Spirit in prayer and ponder deep within your soul that which I have shown to you through my little hidden one. See the love, genuine and spiritual, which was the soil to prepare each soul to receive the Holy Spirit. In no one was human ego present. There was no longer the 'I' or the 'me' which resounds throughout the world today! My Divine Son's Cross had now canceled the human ego, which had persisted. Ponder the Cross and by it know that God's Will was to cross out the 'I', that all might be little, humble, obedient children.
To assist in this annihilation of self, the Trinity from all time, willed that the transformation of the soul into my Divine Son would begin with and be completed by the Holy Spirit. This first Christian Community knew the value of prayer, silence, and fasting. They realized the deep peace and harmony, which God gives to those who belong fully to Him. O! How happy man would be if in his prayer he would surrender all of himself, to be poured out as a libation, so that God's Spirit may be the Paraclete, Advocate, Sanctifier, the Giver of all good gifts.
If you would follow my Divine Son, then this you must do, and you must ask for it and surrender lovingly and completely. If you would know the Truth, then you must possess and desire possession by the Holy Spirit, Who has never ceased to move among the people, Who has always filled the hearts of the True Church. But now the time of the Second Pentecost shall come, and if your heart is not opened, if you are not prepared, you shall be swept away by apostasy, heresy, and schism; swept to the abyss by the dragon's tail. Ponder upon all that the Holy Spirit has done for you. Then on bended knee, give thanks and praise and offer to God your entire being, that your will might become one with the Divine Will. For this is God's Holy and Perfect Will for all His children. As I did then, so do I do now; I am in prayerful intercession for each of you. My vigilance is constant.
Come and pray that the Holy Spirit may fill you, for then you shall understand the mysteries of Scripture which now are being revealed more completely to men of upright heart. Pray and beseech the Holy Spirit to come, and await Him eagerly. Let Him be the movement of your body, the breath you take, the beat of your heart and every thought you speak. Only then shall my Immaculate Heart have triumphed, and God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Dear children, I have opened wide the Refuge of My Sacred Heart, but so very few have come. O! There are many who speak words of consecration while their eyes see only evil, their tongues commit murder and their thoughts are twisted by My adversary.
For these I weep tears of blood that in their blindness they may be washed clean of the enemy's deceit. Anyone who bears malice, anger or bitterness in his heart for anyone is not within the Refuge of My Sacred Heart.
I, your Lord and God, solemnly tell you to be fully reconciled with Me and all your neighbors now, and to remain reconciled at every moment. I tell you this now because you cannot conceive of the events which have begun to effect all the earth. These are My signs. I give them to warn and to chastise, that all may come to Me, Who alone Am Life.
Heed My warning. Events long ago foretold shall come to pass soon, and you are not ready for you have not lived My Holy Mother's call.
Woe to those whose hearts are as stone, for they shall be crushed. Woe to all who remain proud for they shall be humbled.
I desire all the world to heed My Mother's words, for She comes as My Precursor, the New Eve, the Woman Clothed with the Sun.
To all I say: Read Sacred Scripture and be humble, obedient children who give Me all honor and glory. Renounce the world and live holy lives. Then shall My Spirit fill you and you will understand My signs. Prepare. Great chastisements are coming to you. Pray, fast and live My Gospel Message, for I am with you in all things!

I desire to give My Heart to all My children. Why are they so blind? Why so deaf? They refuse to hear the pleadings of My Holy Mother who I have sent to help you in these end times.
I, your God, in mercy, give all the world countless signs, but these are scoffed at even by those who are in authority in My Church. The world is on the brink of disaster, but the world chooses of its own free will to listen to satan's lies. I weep for all who reject Me, who have rejected My chosen messengers. I want to pour out My Mercy, but even this is denied Me.
Therefore I solemnly tell you that your world shall be given even more signs. There will be even more storms, fire, drought, floods. Many shall lose all earthly possessions. Many, too, shall become saddened and despair, losing Me, their very Refuge. There will be no country left untouched. There will be no part of your country that will not suffer. Great shall be the tears that flow in this year which those of open heart recognize as the River of Sorrows.
Repent of your evil ways, for I am a God of Mercy. I will pour out My Mercy, but you must desire and live My Mercy to all. Only in this way will the Hour of Great Mercy come before the Eternal Father's Justice.
I love you. I bless you. I await your response. If you do not convert your heart great shall be the sorrows even before the justice.
I am your Lord and Savior. Come to Me and be saved. I alone am your Refuge.
