Proverbs 12: 18

October 25th Medjugorje Monthly Message

Dear children! Today I call you to come closer to my Immaculate Heart. I call you to renew in your families the fervor of the first days when I called you to fasting, prayer and conversion. Little children, you accepted my messages with open hearts, although you did not know what prayer was. Today, I call you to open yourselves completely to me so that I may transform you and lead you to the heart of my Son Jesus, so that He can fill you with His love. Only in this way, little children, will you find true peace - the peace that only God gives you. Thank you for having responded to my call.

  • True meaning of an Heroic Act of Charity

In preparation for All Saints Day and All Souls Day in a few days, we continue the second part of a three-part series on IN COMMUNION WITH THE COMMUNION OF SAINTS with an explanation of the cycle of the Communion of Saints and what Jesus and Saint Augustine as well as Holy Mother Church say about Purgatory and the sacrifices we, as members of the Church Militant, can make such as the Heroic Act of Charity. This is explained in detail in today's installment on Purgatory as we concentrate on the poor souls during the month of November. "Many of my priest-sons will suffer hideously at the hands of superiors who shall threaten them and exile them, forcing my Divine Son's Church underground."

Those are the words from the Blessed Mother Mary in message 256 to the Hidden Flower of the Immaculate Heart, which we bring you today in which Our Lady urges us to be obedient to the Holy Father for there are many around him who plot against him and against the Will of God. She warns that we must be strong and pray ceaselessly for many of her loyal ones will be persecuted for standing by the truth in a world that has succumbed to the seven deadly sins through the wiles and snares of the devil. This, she alerts us, has reached all the way to the sanctuary of her Divine Son's Church and heresy is spreading fast as the modernists twist things to suit their own agenda. There will be a price to pay for this insubordination and we must realize all will suffer, but those who remain loyal through prayer, sacrifice and obedience will be rewarded in the end. No one will be immune from the chastisements for that is part of our Calvary journey. For messages 255 and 256, click on "I SOLEMNLY TELL YOU..."

    HEADLINES:

Holy Father calls for prayers for peace in troubled countries

To accommodate the massive numbers of faithful who want to be present for his Wednesday papal audiences, the Holy Father abandoned Paul VI Hall this week in favor of the expansive St. Peter's Square on a brisk Autumn afternoon to address the people on the Holy Spirit and to beseech them to join him in prayerful petition that peace will come to Romania through ecumenism in the bitter fight between Orthdox and Catholic, in Guinea-Bissau on the far-western coast of Africa, and in the Congo where in both African countries civil war has torn those lands and people asunder. He expressed concern for all the peoples in those respective territories and reiterated his desire to travel to Romania, but asked for prayers to resolve the present impasse that could jeopardize his trip. Church to examine self in respect to Inquisition with Symposium at the Vatican this weekend

There have been many horror stories about the Inquisition over the centuries, but the Church is set on getting the truth out and dispelling myths that the Inquisition was a torture chamber. Rather, as many theologians have attested to, the symposium will show that it was a safeguard against heresy and a measure to enhance the faith. Yet at the same time the Church is not afraid to examine her own conscience and admit mistakes that were made in the early years, all in preparation of cleansing Holy Mother Church before the new millennium as all Christendom looks forward to Jubilee 2000. In the presence of the King of Kings, you better present yourself properly asserts Columbian priest

While some are criticizing the pastor of San Luis Beltran parish in Baranquilla, Columbia Father Glotario Emer for demanding that parishioners dress modestly or they will be refused the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, we say more power to him for more priests need to speak out. Maybe then the decorum and reverence will return to Holy Mass where Jesus is truly present, body and blood, soul and Divinity. Too many people forget that He is the King of Kings and just as we would dress for earthly royalty, how much more should we be properly dressed for Heavenly Royalty? Bulletin: Christians accused of trying to restore the Blessed Trinity in America!

On the eve of the national elections and in the aftermath of the murder of a baby murderer in Buffalo, New York, pro-aborts are crying that Christian interests are trying to rewrite the Constitution regarding Church and state. The problem is they've got it wrong. The Christian Coalition and other Christian interests are merely trying to reinstate what our founding fathers intended and which, because of Godless legislation over the years, has been so watered down that deception and slander has taken over. They also attack pro-lifers for placing God first and working toward a "theocratic" society where God is first. As far as that goes, Christians everywhere admit it and plead guilty in striving to fulfill the Divine Will for a country dedicated to the Immaculate Conception - a country which has been anything but "immaculate" lately! PRAYERS & DEVOTION

Today's prayer is in honor of the poor souls in Purgatory. When one prays this prayer from the heart countless souls are released from Purgatory at God's will. It is an excellent way as members of the Church Militant to fulfill our role in the Communion of Saints:

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son Jesus in union with all the Masses said throughout the world today; for the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the Universal Church, in my home and in my family. Amen.
