The correlation of private revelation with public revelation
Continuing our on-going feature mega series on the Church today, we bring you the sixty-second installment with the fourth segment on the topic of Saint John Bosco's dream vision he received well over a century ago. Today we examine the time frame and the credibility of private revelation. The Trial
In Lesson 8 THE TRIAL OF THE SANHEDRIN our Heavenly Mother further affirms these times and reinforces the importance of the Final Dogma which will signal the beginning of the transformation from our present era to the promised new Era of Peace. Jewish snub takes luster off Vatican document intended to reconcile
The negative reaction of many Jewish factions to the document "We remember: A Reflection of the Shoah (Holocaust)", has disappointed the officials within the Holy See. Evidently radical Jews wanted the posthumous head of Pius XII on a platter and the Vatican disappointed them by sharing the blame, but exonerating the holy pontiff who reigned during the Holocaust. In France, right-wing Catholic factions reacted cynically to the document and refused to join the Pope in asking forgiveness. For more, click on Reaction to read more.
The repentant bug hits the Philippines as Bishops seek forgiveness
On the heels of the Vatican's document on forgiveness, the Filipino bishops jointly released a statement asking forgiveness for the actions a century ago when some priests sided with Spain against the rebels who were seeking justice. Nigerians anxiously awaiting Holy Father with a gift: More Catholics!
Anticipating Pope John Paul II's visit in the near future, a Nigerian delegation reminded the Holy Father of how excited Nigerians are at his pending trip where he will beatify the first native Nigerian Father Michael Tanzi. Meanwhile Nigerian Cardinal Francis Arinze, head of the Pontifical Council for Inter-Religious Dialogue announced on Vatican Radio that Catholicism is on a rapid rise in his country with a phenomenal growth spurt in the past five years, unprecedented in Africa. Father, All-powerful and Ever-living God, we do well always and everywhere to give You thanks, as we honor St. Joseph. He is that just man, that wise and loyal servant, whom You placed at the head of Your family. With a husband's love he cherished Mary, the Virgin Mother of God. With fatherly care he watched over Jesus Christ, Your Son, conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit. Through Christ the choirs of angels and all the powers of Heaven praise and worship Your glory.
