You can choose to spiritually adopt an unborn child for the cost of a daily prayer!

This weekend and throughout next week there will be a lot of hoopla on both coasts. On the west coast, of course, is the hype buildup for Super Bowl XXXII at Qualcomm Stadium next Sunday in San Diego. On the east coast, the hype is over the twenty-fifth anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's infamous Roe vs. Wade decision which started this country on a steady downward spiral toward the depths of the culture of death and ultimately hell. While many will be observing this occasion in prayer and reparation, pro-abortion advocates will be hailing the decision and calling for even more liberal measures for this "legalized" murder. They call themselves "pro-choice," but in today's editorial, entitled, "There is no other choice!, we urge our readers to adopt the wise advise of that holy prelate who was years ahead of his time and mode - Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen who encouraged all to spiritually adopt an unborn child and pray for that child for a year with the special prayer that appears below in the PRAYERS & DEVOTION section of this page. God's cup is running over and His Justice will be meted out for abortion is Murder! There are no innocent culprits, only innocent victims - the aborted fetuses - the aborted souls. All others will have to answer for their nefarious deeds. Click on CATHOLIC PewPOINT

PRAYERS & DEVOTION

Prayer composed by Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen to be said daily for a year after spiritually adopting an unborn child.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love You very much. I beg You to spare the life of the unborn child I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion.

Life in all its stages doesn't include cloning
While the fight continues to preserve life, some want to manufacture life on their own through artificial means, circumventing God's law and creation process to become a god themselves in controlling their own creations; namely cloning. In today's column by Sister Mary Lucy Astuto she points out the unnaturalness of cloning as she explains in Science cannot clone a soul! Click on GETTING TO THE HEART OF THE MATTER

After life - then what?

They call it the "afterlife" but after life expires in our temporal bodies, we have to pass through one of three portals - either Heaven or hell or, for most of us, a mandatory time, hopefully short, in Purgatory. There are countless souls who are currently members of the Church Suffering and, through indulgences the Church Militant can help expedite their elevation to the ranks of the Church Triumphant as well as earn points for shortening our stay in Purgatory. Many have been confused about indulgences and changes made after the Second Vatican Council. In today's third and final stanza on the Council Fathers' document on Indulgences we outline the changes and norms for both Partial and Plenary Indulgences. Click on VATICAN II VERIFICATIONS

Medjugorje Monthly Message for December 25th

Dear children! Also today I rejoice with you and I call you to the good. I desire that each of you reflect and carry peace in your heart and say: I want God in the first place in my life. In this way, little children, each of you will become holy. Little children, tell everyone, I want the good for you and he will respond with the good and, little children, good will come to dwell in the heart of each man. Little children, tonight I bring to you the good of my Son Who gave His life to save you. That is why, little children, rejoice and extend your hands to Jesus Who is only good. Thank you for having responded to my call! For more on Medjugorje, Click on MEDJUGORJE
