My last week’s article was a story of how my guardian angel had driven me
home in a car after I had fallen asleep at the wheel. It is a TRUE story, unadulterated and exact.
This experience of mine is a reminder to me of how involved in our lives God is and of course, our angels,
too, because they have been given to us by God to help us and are a sign that God loves us.
Following the posting of that article, I received an e-mail from a woman who
wanted to share an angel experience she had had. It is as follows:
Dear Sister:
Thank you for the lovely story about your angel driving your car.
I had an astounding experience with my or my daughter's guardian angel many
years ago. My daughter was out of my sight for a moment. She was an 18 month toddler. I
was sitting on the living room floor with my legs straight out in front of me and I was praying. I was
suddenly lifted straight up by two unseen hands under my elbows, set on my feet and then propelled by a
push, felt on my back, in the direction of the laundry room around the corner from where I was. Sitting
in the entry to the laundry room was my dear daughter. She was about to tip a gallon jug of
Clorox, which I had foolishly left on the floor, up to her mouth and drink from it. (I was unaware that she
could even have gotten the top off the Clorox bottle.)
Our dear Lord has shown me often how much He cares for every detail of our
earthly lives and this is one of the things that we forget a lot.

In this time in history when so many things are awry in the way of immorality
and confusion, such true stories of God’s direct intervention in our lives is encouraging. We
must never forget that no matter how crazy our world is, no matter how immoral our country and world have
become, God has not abandoned us. He is aware of every blink of our eyes, every need, every
danger, every trial, every joy, every fear, every, every, every thing.
We must trust God in this dark hour of our day when even the very leadership
of our country is under suspicion of adultery, lies and mismanagement of funds. Actually, I
recently came across a quote of Thomas Jefferson. He said:
"A departure from principle in one instance
becomes a precedent for a second: that second for a third: and so on, till the bulk of the society is
reduced to be mere automatons of misery, to have no sensibilities left but for sin and suffering." (1816)
Yet God has sent His angels to be with us. We must trust God and tell Him
frequently that we do.
Tricia’s daughter is now 18 years old. God has a very definite plan for her
to have protected her from such serious physical injury or even death.
And so with each one of us! Let us ask God everyday to make His Will clear
to us and to give us the strength to do it. God bless you!
