Message to the Americas: The catechism is a vital part of the evangelizing effort

Following up a year after the Bishops of North, Central and South America, along with the Caribbean contingent, met for the month-long Synod of the Americas in Rome at the end of 1997, Pope John Paul II officially closed the Synod with his Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation Ecclesia in America at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine in Mexico City in January 1999. "It shall not be sufficient in the time of darkness and Justice if you come, only on this Holy Easter day, and never reflect upon Me, seek Me nor give your life to Me the rest of the days!"

Those words from Our Lord were imparted to the Hidden Flower of the Immaculate Heart on Easter Sunday, April 16, 1995 in which Jesus commends those who have converted their hearts and been loyal to fasting and praying during Lent. Conversely He warns those who are lukewarm to call upon His Mercy now, to pray the Novena and realize that without Him they are lost. Jesus speaks of how we still can not see Him present in the Blessed Sacrament for now, but that our belief will be rewarded. His Blessed Mother follows up her Divine Son's words four days later on April 20th by reminding all of the Merciful Font of Mercy that is available to all if we only ask for His Divine Mercy. She cautions all not to wait for the cup is now overflowing and Divine Justice is near. For Messages #612 and #613 from Our Lord and Our Lady, click on "I SOLEMNLY TELL YOU..."
