Today we bring you the 75th person selected out of the TOP 100 CATHOLICS OF THE CENTURY. The voters chose the 79 year-old Archbishop of Washington D.C. Cardinal James A. Hickey who has fought the demons of politics over the past two decades as shepherd of the See that includes the nation's capitol. He has been an outspoken crusader for pro-life and a staunch supporter of Pope John Paul II and his teachings which often clash with the moral fibre unraveling on capitol hill.  for the third week of August As an indication that this has been a down summer for quality films one would only have to point to the top ten movies this week to see the mediocrity that seems to be permeating Hollywood these days. For the third straight week Bruce Willis' weak vehicle "The Sixth Sense" held the top rung when in past summers it might have been lucky to even break the top ten compared to past fare offered. Maybe that's why, with all these celluloid dogs, they call these days the "dog days" of summer! As we near the time we wrap up the regular summer top ten, we doubt it will be missed because if you're smart, you've been passing on most of the movies foisted on the public this year. In this weekend's editorial, we highlight the need to know more about our Faith. Too many expect a magic wand where they'll know the Faith without studying it. Like the phenomenally popular game show Who wants to be a Millionaire?, they expect to win or be gifted with a flood of good fortune in temporal rewards while failing to comprehend the greatest fortune they can amass is knowledge of their Faith. By knowing and practicing the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Faith we've been gifted with at Baptism, we are all winners. We don't have to call a phone number to qualify and go through elimination rounds. To love God is to know Him! 
asks how well do we know God? She brings to the readers' attention that it isn't hard to get to know God, but for many it's harder to keep knowing Him mainly because of our lazy, complacent natures and the lure of the world. These things prevent us from committing totally to the Love of our lives and without total commitment its very difficult to love that person, whether it be a fellow human or our Almighty Creator. Our ninetieth red-hat we feature, in alphabetical order is Cardinal Jamie Lucas Ortega y Alamino, the reigning Archbishop of Havana, Cuba who played a significant role in convincing Fidel Castro to lighten up and allow the Holy Father to make his historic Papal Visit to Cuba in January 1998.
