Medjugorje Monthly Message

Countdown to the Millennium

Medjugorje Monthly Message for October 25th
The Gospa's message for October
Dear children! Today I call you to come closer to my Immaculate Heart. I call you to renew in your families the fervor of the first days when I called you to fasting, prayer and conversion. Little children, you accepted my messages with open hearts, although you did not know what prayer was. Today, I call you to open yourselves completely to me so that I may transform you and lead you to the heart of my Son Jesus, so that He can fill you with His love. Only in this way, little children, will you find true peace - the peace that only God gives you. Thank you for having responded to my call.

Prayer is our ticket to ride!
The seat of Christianity - the seat of our salvation: Rome and St. Peter's Basilica       Who wants to stand in line? Very few, and very few would want to stand in line ad infintum in Purgatory after getting a glimpse of the Beatific Vision and then being denied this wonderful privilege until we have served our time in purification for entering into Heaven forever. But that could take months, or years or decades or centuries if we do not prepare ourselves here on earth. As we complete our short series on IN COMMUNION WITH THE COMMUNION OF SAINTS we point out it's our choice we can help those who need our help the most right now - the poor and abandoned souls in Purgatory - and count on their help later, or we can ignore them and stand in line in Purgatory while we wait, wait, wait and wait some more. Our surest ticket to avoiding this long line is prayer, especially in November for the holy souls who depend on us to shorten their stay. "In truth the enemy lies within yourselves, and thus the destruction I have warned of your nation has already begun, because you, as a nation, have lost God."
Queen of Prophets      Those words from the Blessed Mother Mary in messages 265 and 266 were imparted to the Hidden Flower of the Immaculate Heart back in December 1992 and they would seem even more pertinent today in light of the recent elections in which many pro-abort candidates were reelected. Our Lady warned of this in her messages and that it is not only happening within our country, but also within our Church as satan is taking hold and manipulating the sheep who, out of pride, have turned their back on the Divine Will in favor of material goals. The Blessed Virgin reaffirms that only the prayers of her remnant faithful have staved off total destruction. For messages 265 and 266, click on "I SOLEMNLY TELL YOU..."

HEADLINES:
GOP loses battle, but not the war as voters make strong pro-life statement in some states
Republicans compromised on abortion and paid dearly at the pollsDemocrats gained in the House and Senate which will make it more difficult to fight the culture of death      While Republicans suffered some bitter losses Tuesday which would seem to be a severe a setback to the pro-life movement and a fulfillment of what Our Lady has foretold would happen to our nation, some good came out of the elections as pro-lifers were successful in defeating the much publicized assisted suicide proposition in Michigan and ousting pro-abort Democratic Senator Carol Mosely Braun, a cafeteria Catholic who was defeated by a strong backlash of Catholic votes against her. Meanwhile in Colorado and Washington the bill to ban partial-birth abortions narrowly missed being passed and supporters are hopeful that next time they'll be able to put it over the top and in the two newest states - Alaska and Hawaii, voters overwhelmingly struck down the bill that would have allowed same-sex unions. Jewish ambassador to Holy See creates riff with inane comments that riles Catholics
Vatican representative tells Israeli's to butt out of beatification process     Still laboring over the Holocaust as their own monopoly, the Jews put their foot in their mouth once again when the Israeli Ambassador to the Vatican Aharon Lopez crticized the Church for continuing the process of the cause for beatification of Pope Pius XII whom many great Jewish leaders of the past have praised for his helping the Jewish cause. But more recent liberal Jewish factions have been much more critical of the role of the 260th successor of Peter, going so far as to blame Pius for the deaths of millions because he didn't prevent the gassing. The chief postulator for the Vatican for Pius' cause Father Peter Gumpel spoke out strongly in favor of the former pontiff and lambasted Lopez for his insensitivity and ignorance in these matters and basically told the ambassador to butt out. Satan making inroads in trivializing abortion while villainizing pro-lifers
Beware of the devil     Satan's whole idea is to make sin trivial, to take away conscience and that is what he is effecting in Massachusetts where they are publishing ads that try to convince women there is no stigma to abortion. Wrong. There's a great stigma that they will have to pay for when they finally face the Almighty, but they don't want to hear that. In Vancouver, many don't want to hear about the fact that a Catholic writer sees good coming out of evil with the murder of an avowed abortion doctor in Buffalo, New York. The promoters of the culture of death think nothing about the millions of innocent humans they slaughter, but one man is killed and he is deified. Something seriously wrong here wouldn't you say? Finally, satan is working overtime in Wisconsin as a court overruled the ban on partial-birth abortions in Wisconsin as the pro-death Planned Parenthood once again has sold its soul to the devil. Viet Government conveniently stonewalls Church by feigning ignorance and denial
Contradiction in Vietnam as Government stonewalls Church       Somebody's lying in Vietnam and we doubt it's the Bishops of Vietnam who have stated that they petitioned the Communist Vietnamese government to extend an invitation to the Holy Father to visit their country in 1999 to celebrate the bicentennial of the apparitions of Our Lady of La Vang. Yet the Government, the same one who have been denying religious persecutions when they are in truth going on, the same ones who sandbagged the UN observers last week, they are denying any knowledge and stating flatly the Catholic Bishops have never approached them about a possible papal visit. PRAYER & DEVOTIONS
Today's prayer is in honor of the poor souls in Purgatory. When one prays this prayer from the heart countless souls are released from Purgatory at God's will. It is an excellent way as members of the Church Militant to fulfill our role in the Communion of Saints:

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son Jesus in union with all the Masses said throughout the world today; for the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the Universal Church, in my home and in my family. Amen.
