From Betania Our Lady's words resonate to the rest of the world in calling her children to be "Ambassadors of Reconciliation!"

In today's installment we complete our eleven-segment series on the Apparitions at Betania, Venezuela with the Blessed Virgin Mary's and the Church's call for all faithful to be "Ambassadors of Reconciliation." But we can only be these special envoys of God's if we know our faith and are truly reconciled through the Sacrament of Reconciliation and through a commitment to follow God's Holy Will in all things. If we do that, then, as Our Lady instructs us at Betania and elsewhere, and as the Church teaches, we can be a great help in the harvesting of souls for forgiveness is paramount in the life of sanctity which we should all strive toward. We also focus on the role of priests and how we can help Mary's priest-sons through prayer and cooperation. A Call to be "Ambassadors of Reconciliation"

December Decorations that can illuminate our hearts and provide the perfect present for the Christ Child at Christmas

Christmas is an emotional time and today we bring you two emotional stories that are sure to dig deep at the heart. One is titled "The True Friar" and zeroes in on the essence of what Saint Francis of Assisi intended for his people; the second is a moving story that will bring a tear of good cheer to they eye and heart entitled "Two Babes in a manger." For both of these Holiday vignettes, click on DECEMBER DECORATIONS THAT ENHANCE FOOD FOR THOUGHT APPETEASERS
Today's food for thought are two poignant vignettes, the first a story submitted by PD, shows us the true spirit of Saint Francis as we relate a story on the true essence of the founder of the Franciscans and illustrates in "The True Friar" the true reason for the season as does the second vignette in which a young Russian boy shows the wisdom of the ages and the eternal love of the Christ-child in "Two Babes in a manger". The second story was sent to us by NH on e-mail. They are both fitting stories in preparation for Christmas.

The True Friar

Two babes in a manger

"How I suffer when I behold these stone cold hearts which My Divine Light and Love cannot penetrate."

Those striking words come from the Sacred Heart of Jesus as He laments the lukewarm, lax hearts of so many. This 318th Message was imparted on Palm Sunday, 1993 to the Hidden Flower of the Immaculate Heart and was followed up a day later on April 5th by His Blessed Mother Mary in which she re-emphasizes all her Divine Son conveyed, warning of the pitfalls ahead if we do not heed His call to convert and immerse ourselves in His Sacred Passion. Our Lady weeps as she says, "my Sorrowful Heart is pierced anew because so many are lost to the Truth." For these two moving messages, click on "I SOLEMNLY TELL YOU..."

(Imparted to the Hidden Flower by the Immaculate Heart)

Today is the Third Wednesday of Advent followed by the Third Thursday of Advent. We also celebrate today the beginning of Las Posadas, a Mexican tradition that originated in the 16th century, acting out the birth of Jesus and the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem in search of a shelter so the Messiah could be brought into this world to save all mankind. November 25th Medjugorje Monthly Message

Dear children! Today I call you to prepare yourselves for the coming of Jesus. In a special way, prepare your hearts. May holy Confession be the first act of conversion for you and then, dear children, decide for holiness. May your conversion and decision for holiness begin today and not tomorrow. Little children, I call you all to the way of salvation and I desire to show you the way to Heaven. That is why, little children, be mine and decide with me for holiness. Little children, accept prayer with seriousness and pray, pray, pray. Thank you for having responded to my call.
