On the BattleLine
Atila Sinke Guimar„es, a foremost authority on the causes and effects of Vatican II, calls Cardinal Avery Dulles, S.J. to task for his statements which put Dulles in direct contradiction with another Jesuit cardinal, a holy man who is recognized as one of the great Doctors of the Church - Saint Robert Bellarmine. Atila respectfully asks two questions of the modern day Jesuit cardinal in seeking a reply from his Eminence. Atila and Catholics everywhere would like to know if there is something 'extra' to the Dogma extra Ecclesia nulla salus that was not revealed until Vatican II? That even St. Robert didn't know. If we are to believe Cardinal Avery Dulles' statements then is the first dogma of the Church that there is no salvation outside the Church now null and void? His Eminence has some answering to do regarding the basics of Catholicism. Will His Eminence reply? Atila is hopeful that the progressivists will at least have the decency to quit hemming and hawing and engage in honest answers - something that might seem foreign to the promoters of the Vatican II reforms. Atila explains in his column Progressivist Polemics.
Mario Derksen continues his series on the controversy that surrounds "the illicit Episcopal Ordinations of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre." In part four, Mario presents arguments to prove that canonically both in the 1917 Code and the 1983 there was a state of necessity - a dire emergency - for the Archbishop's actions and therefore His Excellency did not even violate the letter of canon law since the salvation of souls always takes top priority in all aspects of spiritual care. Mario thus illustrates there was No Schism or Excommunication On or Immediately After June 30, 1988. He provides his arguments in his fourth installment: Salvation of souls is the paramount necessity!
Editor Michael Cain cites the fact that many dioceses - beginning with Boston - are ready to declare bankruptcy not only because they are being bled by cover-up costs to victims, but because they are already spiritually bankrupt. He has coined a word that sums up all the heresies being spewed about by the Vaticantwoarians or V2arians. It may be a mouthful to pronounce, but then, as he points out, neo-Catholics have swallowed any and everything over the past 40 years in their blind obedience to those very men who have plunged the Conciliar Church into Spiritual Bankruptcy! He explains in his editorial simply titled:
"Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Double of the First Class Feast of the Immaculate Conception, he extends great hope to the faithful few to hang in there - for in the end Mary's Immaculate Heart will triumph! We have the Almighty's Word on this as Father documents from Sacred Scripture and Our Lady's promise at Fatima. Though we must go through the chastising purification as needs be - just as she cautioned at La Salette and Fatima - so in future generations the fruits of the efforts of the faithful remnant devoted to Jesus, His Blessed, Immaculate Mother, and the Mystical Bride - Holy Mother Church will yield a harvest no human mind can perceive. As finite beings our efforts may not be realized on this fleeting earth, but our legacy of loyalty will be forever remembered and saluted in eternity. That should be enough to motivate every soul to restore the purity of the spotless Bride of Christ as Father explains in his sermon
"Our tainted nature's solitary boast".
Doctors of the Church
The nineteenth Doctor in this chronological series on the Doctors of the Church was a crusader against lay investiture, fiercely loyal to Rome and to his vocation as a priest who loved his flocks. They rewarded him by fiercely standing behind him against temporal kings. He was a Frenchman who conquered the Brits with love. He was the father of Scholastic Theology. He was the holy doctor from Piedmont whose writings and teachings became an important barometer for another Doctor of the Church - the angelic doctor. He was the uncompromising Archbishop of Canterbury in the middle ages who lived 76 years. He was
White Smoke, Black Fire!
Gleaned from the daily headlines and Sacred Scripture, "White Smoke, Black Fire!" deals with how the followers of the Anti-Christ, through political cunning, compromise and media manipulation, try to wrest control from within the Vatican after a horrific holocaust of terror at the birthplace of Abraham. As the world tries to recover, we find God intervening with a miraculous recovery by Pat Gallagher, who after certain death at the hands of the vile Basilisk, had been taken by Niki, Stephen and Ogidi to a place of the dead in the womb of Christianity - the catacombs. Here a reawakening of faith and strength have given the four men renewed hope that the battle is not lost in Chapter Nine, Episode Three
In this issue we focus on a few most recent occurrences that author Mark Fellows documents and which appears in the most recent issue of Catholic Family News. Having received the gracious permission from editor John Vennari to reprint it here, Mark focuses on the mounting campaign by the desperate neo-Catholics to denigrate all who would uphold the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. They go so far, as Mark relates, to label Traditionalists as those with a "lidless eye." All Traditionalists should take that as a compliment for the "lidless eye" refuses to be distracted by the blinking distractions of novelty, remaining focused on things of Heaven. The Tridentine Mass is the closest thing to Heaven on earth and so the "Lidless Ones" fix their gaze on this most august Holy Sacrifice for the salvation of souls. The problems, as Mark illustrates, is that anti-Traditional neos can't budge their lids open to see the light, so blinded by novelty and the spin of the Vaticantwoarians. Mark explains with his article
On Lidless Eyes and Lepers.
Appreciating the Precious Gift of our Faith
In this issue we continue with our catechesis series from My Catholic Faith. We focus on Christian Burial and, in reading the beautiful Traditions and beliefs, we can see how much is lost during the past 40 years. So much so that Canon Law itself has been blurred in tolerating cremation and Freemasons. If one wonders what ever happened to the Requiem Mass, you must read this 282nd installment of this catechetical series, one that should give faithful Catholics great consolation that "to die is to gain" for the soul who lives God's will can be assured of attaining eternal union with God as we elaborate in: Christian Burial .
The Germs of G.I.R.M.
In this issue we bring you part sixty-one of Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey's well-received, thought-provoking series on G.I.R.M. warfare as he continues analyzing and commenting on the ambiguity and errors in the General Instruction of the Roman Missal and the ICEL operatives who have contributed to promulgating this atrocity. He focuses on paragraphs 161 through 163 and how the over saturation of "eucharistic ministers", who flood the NOM sanctuaries, purposely blur the distinction of the sacerdotal role of the priest. Tom shows how this new, novel rite of the past 33 years has diminished the reverent act of receiving Our Lord on the tongue as sheep have always been fed. In its stead the flocks are scattered throughout the church as communion is distributed every which way but the reverent, right way. Tom illustrates in Hands off the new 'lay investiture'!
