Pro-Life Prescriptions:

Pope John Paul II speaks out:

"If you want equal justice for all and true freedom and lasting peace, then, America, defend life."

(World Youth Days, Denver, 1993)

"In the case of an intrinsically unjust law, such as a law permitting abortion or euthanasia, it is therefore never licit to obey it, or to 'take part in a propaganda campaign in favor of such a law, or vote for it'."

("The Gospel of Life" p. 73, 1995)

Visible
Signs
of
God's
Vote!?!
AP photos above taken of George W. Bush on the left and Al Gore waving above clearly show God's choice for president of the United States through His wonders of nature that say more than any spinmeister could. The Culture of Life is blessed with a rainbow of graces. While stormclouds of doubt and despair loom for those who would push for the Culture of Death!

Think of all the souls who have been aborted and you'll realize why we have so few saints today on this solemn feast of All Saints Day!

With the election less than a week away, we bring you a composite of excellent articles by Dr. Frank Joseph that should convince you once and for all that your only choice is to vote Pro-Life! Below are a selection of his best and most recent columns pertinent for setting your conscience at ease and voting out the culture of death regime that has ruled in the White House for these past eight, long, bloody years.

Catholics can make the difference!
Say "Yes" to Life through your Vote!

In today's issue Dr. Frank Joseph reminds all Catholics that their vote is all about accountability. Accountability that counts not just with their conscience but, in the greater picture, with their Creator. The question is about creation - His creation of man. which modern man wants to snuff out through the selfish, horrific and evil sin of abortion. Dr. Frank points out what the Church says both in Sacred Scripture and Canon Law and shows, without a shadow of doubt how the line in the sand has been drawn. The twelve columns below show this distinctly:

There definitely is a good candidate and a bad candidate and he does not hesitate to share with the readers who Catholics cannot vote for. They can't for the sake of their own souls, as well as the souls of countless unborns who might never get the chance to breathe life as we do today because of the selfish, narrow-minded votes of those who stubbornly or stupidly voted for a candidate who pledges to continue the culture of death. He clearly shows that it is no longer a matter of choice or party politics, but a matter of life and death! It is no longer a political issue, but a moral issue that we will be held accountable for before God.

PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!
Today is Day 4 of the Countdown Novena to the Election! Your prayers are vital! We recommend at least a decade a day and a Chaplet of Divine Mercy. If you can say a Rosary a day in hopes of a miracle that America can return to God through this election, that's even better! It's between you and God. Remember, nothing is impossible with Him!
6 DAYS
to Defend Life
and pray that there will be
No more Blood and Gore!!

We encourage you to go to the Pro-Life links below to keep up to date on the great battle between life and death - the Sanctity of Life vs. the culture of death led by pro-abort candidates and those who would advance immorality, sodomy, perjury, etc. We refer you to our HOMEPORT ENTRY PAGE where you will find a typograph of a chalice, a chalice overflowing with the innocent blood of the aborted babies nearing 40 to 50 million. Enough is enough! The story and our purpose is outlined in this typograph and for more information and why we will not give up, see DEFEND LIFE Pray and urge others to VOTE FOR LIFE!

SOLEMNITY OF ALL SAINTS

"Father, all-powerful and ever-living God, we do well always and everywher to give You thanks. Today we keep the festival of Your holy city, the Heavenly Jerusalem, our mother. Around Your throne the saints, our brothers and sisters, sing Your praise for ever. Their glory fills us with joy, and their communion with us in Your Church gives us inspiration and strength, as we hasten on our pilgrimage of faith, eager to meet them."

Taken from the Preface for today's Mass

For today's glorious feast and tomorrow's commemoration of ALL SOULS DAY, see DAILY LITURGY

The DAILY WORD
Taken from the Gospel for Wednesday's Mass

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven...Blessed are the clean of heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God. Blessed are they who suffer persecution for justice' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven....Rejoice and exult, because Your reward is great in Heaven; for so did they persecute the prophets who were before you."

Matthew 5: 3,8-10, 12

Events that happened Today in Church History

Hierarchy in US established on this date in 1789Bishop John Carroll    Today, besides being the 50th Anniversary of the Dogma of the Assumption, is also the 211th anniversary of the establishment of the first hierarchy in the United States of America. This occurred with Pope Pius VI's appointment of Bishop John Carroll as Bishop of Baltimore. This first See in the United States covered from Maine in the North to Georgia in the south to the Missisippi River in the west. There were less than 30,000 Catholics in his entire diocese. As we know the Faith spread quickly and is today dedicated to the Immaculate Conception. Because of that, we must uphold the Sanctity of Life in America and defend life! That can be done next Tuesday by voting for the candidate that best will uphold the culture of life, the candidate who is against abortion! Famous quotes of Bishop Fulton J. SheenNo one is better than the next!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but the words of Bishop Fulton J. Sheen have been known to launch a thousand images in one's mind, one of the ways this late luminary did so much to evangelize the faith. Because of the urgency of the times and because few there are today who possess the wisdom, simplicity and insight than the late Archbishop who touched millions, we are bringing you daily gems from his writings. The good bishop makes it so simple that we have dubbed this daily series: "SIMPLY SHEEN".

"The psychological reason for the modern fondness for news which deflates others or brings out the evil in their lives, is to solace uneasy consciences which are already laden with guilt. By finding others who apparently are more evil than we, we falsely believe that we are somehow better 'than the rest of men' (Luke 18: 11)."
