As the youngest shepherd Blessed Jacinta exhibited a spirituality that far surpassed her age
Photos below used with permission by Father Robert J. Fox
We are delighted to work with Father Robert Fox in bringing you this special series on the Fatima shepherd children Jacinta and Francisco Marto who will be beatified on May 13th this year by His Holiness Pope John Paul II. Throughout May we will be bringing you his articles on the two Fatima shepherds leading up to their beatification and after that, more articles on the Church in Russia since it is so pertinent to Fatima and the fact we are now publishing in Russian. Our Lady asked for the conversion of Russia and we are humbled in obediently publishing his words in Russian as well as bringing you his articles that appeared in the April-June issue of the full-color magazine which Fr. Fox edits and publishes, Immaculate Heart Messenger. To find out more, go to Father Fox's bio Today he begins his insightful article on the Jacinta's older brother Francisco. For the first part of his column on The Spirituality of Blessed Francisco , see THE FAITH OF THE FATIMA SHEPHERDS

What if Saul had not been knocked off his horse?
In his column today, Pat Ludwa prompts all to understand the method God sometimes uses to bring man back to Him. He shows how through sin a man can be converted from his evil ways just as Saint Paul and Saint Augustine were to name but a few of the countless souls who walked in darkness before seeing the light. Pat shows how God allows evil for good. By that he means God allows man to do of his free will, to be tempted, to pursue activities that are in direct confrontation against the Almighty. He does so that to show man the emptiness, the void that still exists no matter how rich one might be or secure in their profession for without God, there is nothing. For his column today, Sin has value!!! , see VIEW FROM THE PEW
It does no good to point a finger at others
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but the words of Bishop Fulton J. Sheen have been known to launch a thousand images in one's mind, one of the ways this late luminary did so much to evangelize the faith. Because of the urgency of the times and because few there are today who possess the wisdom, simplicity and insight than the late Archbishop who touched millions, we are bringing you daily gems from his writings. The good bishop makes it so simple that we have dubbed this daily series: "SIMPLY SHEEN".
"When our conscience bothers us, whether we admit it or not, we often try to justify it by correcting others, or by finding fault with them. The readiness to believe evil about others is in large part ammunition for a thousand scandals in our own hearts."
April 25th Medjugorje Monthly Message
NOTE: We respectfully recognize and accept the final authority regarding apparitions, locutions and prophecies presently being reported around the world rests with the Holy See of Rome and the Magisterium of Holy Mother Church to whose judjment we humbly and obediently submit.
"Dear children! Also today I call you to conversion. You are concerned too much about material things and little about spiritual ones. Open your hearts and start again to work more on your personal conversion. Decide everyday to dedicate time to God and to prayer until prayer becomes a joyful meeting with God for you. Only in this way will your life have meaning and with joy you will contemplate eternal life. Thank you for having responded to my call."
