Scientists should know that playing God can lead to great dangers
In our editorial in this issue, we raise the red flag over the giddiness expressed by leading scientists and politicians over the completion of the human genone map. We caution all to take great care in remaking man in man's own image. Rather the men who have such great responsibilities in research and discovering cures for fatal diseases should realize that the only way to succeed is not playing God, but in complementing God by using their God-given gifts to promote what God wills for all His children. Statistics don't lie! But Planned Parenthood does!
Today Dr. Frank Joseph lays it all on the line, showing the statistics and proving, beyond all shadow of doubt, that Planned Parenthood and other pro-abort organizations are gasping at phantom figures when they claim abortion is safer than childbirth. It's all a lie and Dr. Frank illustrates this with telling statistics in all aspects that clearly lay bare the facts that abortion is definitely hazardous to a mother's health - both physically and spiritually. For his column Abortion vs. Childbirth , see Pro-Life Prescriptions: LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!

Appreciation of the Beatitudes
Today we continue our series in the search to uncover the wonderful treasures of the Church contained in the great Deposit of Faith. We present the first of a two part catechesis on the Beatitudes as explained in My Catholic Faith and a blueprint based on Our Lord's words in Matthew 5: 1-13. In this issue we cover the first four Beatitudes. For part one in the 177th installment, see APPRECIATING THE PRECIOUS GIFT OF OUR FAITH
