In this way the message of peace which the angels announced to the shepherds at Bethlehem will become a reality in our lives."

    On December 25th the Solemnity of the glorious Christmas Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we bring you the traditional Chrismtmas messages from our contributing writers and this publication's spiritual director Father Al Svobodny, OMI as we celebrate the true second millennium anniversary of the birth of the Messiah.

    On December 26th we commemorate the Feast of the First Martyr of the Church Saint Stephen who was stoned to death by the order of the Church's chief persecutor Saul. It was the beginning of a long period of persecution as the blood of the martyrs would become the seed of Faith and leading this charge would be the man who ordered Stephen's death - Saint Paul.

    On December 27th we celebrate the Feast of the Beloved Disciple SAINT JOHN THE EVANGELIST. He was the only Apostle not to suffer martyrdom and he was the one whom Christ placed in charge of His Blessed Mother Mary at the foot of the Cross. John's Gospel affirms the divinity of Jesus and his Apocalyptic writings are the culmination of Divine Revelation.

    On December 28th, the Feast of the Holy Innocents, the infant martyrs who were murdered by Herod, we bring you the 211th installment of our on-going series APPRECIATION OF THE PRECIOUS GIFT OF OUR FAITH as we continue with the 5th Commandment, today focusing on Bad Example and Scandal as a great danger.
